Tamiya wild Dagger, Tamiya Juggernaut 2 (Jug) , Tamiya Clod Buster (Clod), Tamiya Hummer (Hummer), Traxxas Stampede (Pede), HPI RS4 MT (RS4 MT), etc are some pf the popular RC models. These models are fine-tuned and tested for general use or backyard bashing.

Tamiya Wild Dagger (WD) is unstoppable on most any terrain. It is durable, lightweight, has decent speed with stock motors and gearing -about 15 mph and is very fast with modified motors. Its dual motors provide a lot of torque and independent suspension. It jumps well and climbs hills very well as its gears are very robust. The model is reasonably priced with a tough Lexan truck body and requires zero maintenance. Moreover the model is fairly easy to assemble and also contains outstanding assembly instructions.

Nevertheless, its simple steering servo setup results in some "bump-steer", although generally steering is good. Its stock dampers need to be replaced with oil-filled shocks and all parts are not stocked by all hobby stores. Its location of motors makes water running not really an option. It contains plastic bushings with limited pinion choices, but stock gearing will appeal to most users.

Tamiya Juggernaut 2 (Jug) is also 4x4 which is unstoppable on most any terrain. Its large size is impressive and gives a very realistic looking as it has a lot of scale appeal. Its motors are mounted up high so running in water is an option. Its dual motors provide a lot of torque and the model is great for off road use and attracts a lot of attention. Its chassis and drive train are very durable. It offers wide selection of pinion choices for a monster truck and also a wide selection of motors can be installed. Its chrome wheels are outstanding looking and the model contains outstanding assembly instructions. It is designed for torque and pulling and is a very popular truck so parts are usually easy to obtain.

However, it is very costly to purchase and the truck is slow with the stock 540 motors. Its stock dampers need to be replaced with oil-filled shocks. It also rolls over easily when turning at high speeds, especially on pavement. It does not have independent suspension and also does not climb hills well because of a high center of gravity. It usually rolls over. The biggest problem with it is that it is a challenge to build for some people. Even after everything its body is easily destroyed. Its center spur/pinions gear mesh somewhat tricky to set just right. Also, its transmission is somewhat noisy.

Tamiya Clod Buster (Clod) is also has same features as Tamiya Juggernaut 2. It also has many after market upgrades for monster truck racing. But it is costly to upgrade for monster truck racing. It also has similar shortcomings as Tamiya Juggernaut 2. Moreover its chassis easily breaks when jumping and the model offers limited pinion choices. Its top is somewhat heavy and is also not very realistic looking in comparison to the Juggernaut.

Tamiya Hummer (Hummer) is 1/12 scale and is not exactly a monster truck but is fairly popular in this category. It looks cool with a body is very realistic. It has oil shocks and independent suspension. It also has decent speed with the stock motors and outstanding assembly instructions. But the model rolls over easily when turning at speeds because of the high center of gravity the heavy body creates. It has limited ground clearance and plastic bushings.

Chapter 10 – Do you need Supplements?

This is a topic that is widely debated in the health and fitness arenas. The anti-supplement camp says that a person can get all of the nutrients they need by eating a variety of healthy foods in the right proportions. They suggest eating at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day along with enough dairy products, lean protein and whole grains. In their minds the supplement manufacturers are just out to get your money.

The pro-supplement camp, however, says that the produce that is available today is being grown in soil that is increasingly depleted due to over-cultivation and lack of proper rotation techniques and contains far less vitamins and nutrients than it did back in the old days. They claim that you would have to eat way too much food and consume far too many calories to meet your nutrient requirements. I tend to agree and would suggest a good multi-vitamin to most people.

You should seek a vitamin without iron, however, because the ferrous sulfate they use as an iron supplement is difficult to assimilate in the body (especially when taken at the same time as calcium) and adequate iron can be consumed through small portions of lean red meat and green leafy vegetables.

When it comes to all the supplements for weight lifters, there is just as much debate. While some of these supplements have been proven to improve gains slightly, I am not sure the benefits outweigh the costs for most of these types of supplements. Other than maybe taking an amino-acid supplement post workout (a good whey protein shake will have all the amino-acids you need for proper recovery), I would suggest saving your hard earned money for more important things.

What about caffeine? Studies have shown an increase in performance and endurance when taking a caffeine supplement (cola, coffee, green tea or “energy drinks”) before a cardio workout. Another touted “benefit” of caffeine is that it boosts the metabolism. Since your program does not include a cardio workout and you do not want to increase your metabolism (you are burning calories too quickly already), I would strongly advise avoiding caffeine altogether.

The plan is very important. It shows how much work you need to do to get paid so much. All marketing plans have advantages and disadvantages. Different companies offer different margins for their products. The key to remember in margin comparison, if the company pays the distributor too low, you might not survive; if the margin is too high, you might earn a lot, but your retail customers will suffer and the business might not be long term. It is important to analyze the pricing of the products to insure that you have, and more importantly the people you sponsor, have a chance to break even quickly. Before I share with you a few of the more popular marketing plans to give you an idea about what some companies offer, I want to highlight two important components in every plan: DEMOTION and MAINTAINANCE

DEMOTION means dropping from one MLM position or level to a lower one (usually resulting in a loss of future potential income) or your remainder quota required to reach a certain target is increased or the volume achieved in the past does not count towards the grand total anymore. Demotion is an important factor to consider in every marketing plan as someone who suffers demotion may suffer a sudden loss in income and could be embarrassing to others.

MAINTENANCE (sometimes called autoship) is the minimum amount of sales volume (usually every month) a distributor or serious business builder has to buy, either his own personal volume or combined with group sales, in order to maintain his rank, be eligible for bonuses, overriding commission or sometimes even maintain his distributorship. Having maintenance or no maintenance has its pros and cons. Below are three scenarios which will serve clear up this concept.

An in-running game is one where the game has already started. It is possible to find arbitrage opportunities with these but these tend to be far more dynamic and it is advisable to use in-running only after the basic form of arbitrage has been mastered.

One of the reasons that in-running arbitrage opportunities are so plentiful is that bookmakers do not have time to consider all things when quoting odds - you can quite literally feast on arbitrage income everyday with in-running bets if you know where to look. We'll look at in running arbitrage opportunities sport by sport.

CRICKET

If you've ever seen a cricket game you'll know that just one wicket can change the direction of the game - as well as bookmaker odds that create a bountiful supply of arbitrage opportunities as the game develops. With cricket the the arbitrage chance will tend to form only after an entire innings has been played out - in the second innings, as the wickets and boundaries begin to accumulate you will see more and more arbitrage situations being formed before your eyes. These can be found not only in the results category but also in total runs betting. Cricket is certainly one of the best sports to profit from arbitrage, both pre-match as well as in-running - and don’t forget, bookmakers sometimes have to price bets with a view to balance their books rather than setting them realistically based on the probable outcome. This applies to every sport and is fantastic news for the arbitrage trader.

FOOTBALL

Steer clear of the result after 90 minutes area for in-running football. The fact is (and it can be a little surprising) there just aren't enough opportunities here to make it worth looking at. The last corners market is much better if you wish to find in-running football arbitrage situations - a 2 possibility event and plenty of 'out-of-date' prices (as most bookies see this as a secondary importance market, much to our delight). Wait until the last quarter of the match, and if the match changes dramatically (e.g. a goal is scored) you will find out of date prices that you can just secure. Remember that bookies will close the market with 80 minutes gone on the clock - remember this when placing a late arbitrage trade.

OTHERS

A moderate amount of arbitrage opportunities can be found with GOLF but patience is required, and your best chances are when a tournament is limited to 3 potential winners. Arbitrage opportunities tend to be found more often in the European tour. With SNOOKER it takes just one moment to completely change a game. It's worthwhile following the in-running details and odds to see if there are any easy pickings to be had.

Adjusting the IN or OUT points of one or more clips in the timeline is called trimming. This includes tweaking a clip’s IN or OUT points, changing the IN or OUT points between 2 clips, or moving a clip to a new location in the timeline. The Tool Palette contains special tools just for these trimming operations.

Before you perform a trim edit, you want to make sure that the "snap to edges" and "link" controls are set-up properly in the Timeline. These are the small buttons located at the top, right corner of the Timeline. If they are ON they are green, if they’re OFF they are grey.

Linked Clips: Video and audio are automatically linked when they are imported as one clip. This means that no matter how you trim video, the audio will be trimmed accordingly and vice-versa. Sometimes, you will want to edit the video and audio independently of one another. In order to do this, you can just switch the Link control to it’s OFF mode.

Snap to Edges: The snap to edges mode is on by default to assist you in finding the edge of edits easily. When the snap to edges control is on, you will find that the clip will magnetically snap to the closest edit point. Sometimes you will want to fine tune your edits not in accordance with adjacent edits. Especially in this case or when editing down to the frame level, you will want to turn "Snap to Edges" off.

Trimming with the Selection Tool: The simplest way to trim a clip on the timeline is by using the default arrow "selection tool." By select the edge of a clip on the timeline, you can roll the IN or OUT point of the clip as long as now other clip is blocking the rolling and unrolling. If other clips are in the way, you may find you’re trimming to be easier if you scoot your clips down the timeline with your "track selection" tools, or by editing with the roll tool or the slip edit tool.

Scooting Clips along the Timeline with the Track Selection Tool: The Track or Tracks selection tool is a handy way to grab all clips from "here" toward a direction, which is especially useful when trimming on the timeline without loosing all of your previous editing. Click at the point that you want to grab a collection of clips with the tool pointing the direction that you want to select. From there, move that whole group of clips over. Note* This track selection tool will often come in handy for removing gaps that you create in your timeline during trimming.

Chapter 9 - Identity Theft and Your Credit

Criminals know the way to steal your identity, and the worst part is that it’s not all that difficult. You know all those credit card applications you get in the mail? If you don’t shred them, they can use that to steal your identity.

It’s not above them to sift through garbage just to obtain a social security number or a driver’s license number. Once they have these vital bits of information, it’s easy for them to steal your identity.

What they will do is scary. They will apply for credit cards in your name and max them out within days. They will obtain loans in your name and never make a payment. Then the loan company comes after you for the money. It’s something that affects millions and millions of people each year and it can be a real mess when it comes to your credit report.

As many as 85 percent of all identity theft victims find out about the crime only when they are denied credit or employment, contacted by the police, or have to deal with collection agencies, credit cards, and bills.

A study on the aftermath of an identity theft by the nonprofit Identity Theft Resource Center found that victims spend 600 hours recovering from the crime because they must contact and work with credit cards, banks, credit bureaus, and law enforcement. The time can add up to as much as $16,000 in lost wages or income.

The number of reported cases of identity theft is increasing steadily. There is no one reason for this, but rather this is due to several ways in which our lives have changed in recent years, all of which make it easier for people to obtain our personal information.
