Internet Marketing B.S. Statement #22: Why should I pay for information when it is supposed to be free?

Like any other products you see in the supermarket, there are differences between free, low-ticket items, medium-ticket items, and high-ticket items.

It is obvious that the quality of the product is in proportion with the price, and same applies to most information products online. In fact, buying information dates way back to the early days where people would go to the back alley to pay another person for more sophisticated information.

Modern professionals and consultants today charge hefty fees for their consultation services – because they offer quality, sophisticated advice.

Fortunately, information products are far more affordable to acquire, and very often, more information can be dispensed into the products than any professional or consultant could possibly give in just a few hours.

If you have been having that kind “I deserve all the information for free and they should not be paid” mentality, why should your would-be prospects buy from you, if ever create an information product, when they think they should deserve it all for free, too?

So here you are: You have developed a great podcast, with excellent content for a very tight niche. And you are prepared to podcast on this topic with top-notch content for a long time to come. Now what?

Now you have to get your podcast out into the world to be heard. Many broadcasters to simply podcast for personal interest or to get their opinions out into the world, don't bother to market their podcast. And perhaps, if you have a small and fait hful fo llowing that might be all you're interested in. For example, maybe you are pastor at a church and it doesn't matter to you other people outside of your congregation hear your podcasts, as long as they are available for your parishio ners. That's fine.

But there are many people, especially business podcasters, who need to be heard. Perhaps you need to be heard because of the importance of your sell your product and put food on the table, whatever the reason is, you need to do your podcast out there.

The first in you want to do is submit your podcast to the podcast hosting sites ment ioned in a previous chapter. If you haven't done that already, take time to be that right away. Don't just submit to one, submit to all of them.

The next thing you need to do is to make sure that your market ing material (if you are a business) contains the web site on which your podcast is hosted. For example, if your company has a web site, make sure it's on your market ing material. Then go on to your company's web site and make sure that the podcast is easy to see. Lots of companies have very busy web sites which makes it difficult to notice if there are new items on the page. You might also want to put on your market ing material something along the lines that of "subscribe to our podcast."

Just plunking down your podcast on your web site and a web address on your marketing material will not get you very many subscribers. It could get some calm and that's great, but just like any other product that you sell you need to give people a reason to subscribe to your podcast.

If you haven't noticed, this chapter talks about content and niche market ing but the underlying secret of both of those is value. When you offer a value, people will come to you. If your product solves a problem, they will buy it from you. If your service benefits someone, they will buy it from you. If your podcast helps them in some way, they will subscribe to it… or even buy it from you.

Here is a story designed to motivate you. When the dust settles and we have made all the money in the world, reached the height of fame and obtained the epitome of power, what gives us true meaning in life?

Many living things need each other to survive. If you have ever seen a Colorado aspen tree, you may have noticed that it does not grow alone. Aspens are found in clusters, or groves.

The reason is that the aspen sends up new shoots from the roots. In a small grove, all of the trees may actually be connected by their roots!

Giant California redwood trees may tower 300 feet into the sky. It would seem that they would require extremely deep roots to anchor them against strong winds. But we're told that their roots are actually quite shallow -- in order to capture as much surface water as possible. And they spread in all directions, intertwining with other redwoods.

Locked together in this way, all the trees support each other in wind and storms. Like the aspen, they never stand-alone. They need one another to survive.

People, too, are connected by a system of roots. We are born to family and learn early to make friends. We are not meant to survive long without others.

And like the redwood, we need to hold one another up. When pounded by the sometimes vicious storms of life, we need others to support and sustain us.

Have you been going it alone? Maybe it's time to let someone else help hold you up for a while. Or perhaps someone needs to hang on to you.

E-Business Planning Guide Personal Use Ebook

The first step in any successful business venture is planning, whether you are online or not. Planning is simply putting down on paper a road map that leads you from point A to Z. Sometimes in our hurry with excitement to establish and run our own business, we forget or omit certain steps. Those missing steps can sometimes lead to disaster and worse than that, your hard-earned money sent straight down the drain. It has happened to me so I have personal experience with this one too and it’s not fun at all.

So my question to you is would you take a trip to a location 12 hours away that you had never been before without a road map? No, because there is a high probability that you’d get lost. And once you are lost you’d have to find someone to give you directions to where you want to go. But wait a minute, you didn’t write down your destination. So when you finally find someone that can help, you can’t give him the specifics of exactly where you want to go. All you have is an ‘idea’ of the direction and the location.

You couldn’t point out your destination if you were looking dead at it. You don’t even know what your destination looks like. You can’t recognize it because you didn’t make a map to show you the way. I mean you may be able to pinpoint a location close to the ballpark but that’s not good enough. Your map guides you along the way and helps you to recognize your exact destination when you get there.

This same theory applies to your online business. You have to know where you are presently in order to get to your final destination. All successful people and businesses also have this one thing in common…they all had a plan. They didn’t take a walk down the yellow brick road with visions of grandeur that success would easily become their friend; they knew better than that. They made out a deliberate plan to ensure their success, and you must do the same.

You should make it a habit to follow the lead of people who have reached where you want to go, and not the people standing beside you and behind you giving you advice. You know the people I’m talking about. It’s your neighbor, co-worker or family member whispering in your ear that the idea you have to start your own business is gonna fail, and that you should just work your job and forget about that ‘stuff’. And if you mention that not only do you want to start your own business, but it is in internet marketing; they are really going to try and stomp your dreams out like they are putting out a forest fire.

They are going to have many jokes and negative comments so prepare yourself for it. Because of this, I didn’t tell anyone about starting my internet business. I knew I had a business to build and I really didn’t want the distraction and the constant injection of poison (negative comments) from the peanut gallery. It always amazes me that the people always telling you that you can’t do something are the one’s that never tried to do anything themselves. I believe it’s because they don’t understand ‘business’, and let alone this business and equate our activity on the computer as “playing” and nothing to do with money.

This is a very important fundamental of music. This ‘Scale’ makes up the sounds ‘Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Ti-Do.’ It’s called the ‘Major Scale’ and it is one of the MAIN modes of music. There are ‘major’ and ‘minor’. The ‘major’ scale sounds more happy while the ‘minor’ scales sound sad. Every song you’ve ever heard was either in a ‘major’ or ‘minor’ key.

OK so your RIGHT hand is numbered as follows…Your thumb is finger number 1, index finger is number 2 , middle finger is number 3, ring finger number 4, and pinky finger number 5.

Your LEFT hand is the same. Thumb is finger number one, and so on. They go opposite ways but the thumb is still number 1 and so on.

We are going to learn the scale with our RIGHT hand first. The right hand is the lead hand in the piano and plays the important lead melodies of a song. The left hand is an accompainiment and plays chords and bass lines.

101 Tips For Selling Your Home Yourself PLR Ebook

Tip 82: Take it down

Have pen and paper ready. Take down each caller’s name and number. Jot down their questions. This will give you an idea of future questions, and you’ll know how to answer them properly the next time.

Tip 83: Are you a (phone) grouch?

When you answer calls, come across as friendly. The impression you DON’T want to give is that of a tired, harassed seller who’s sick and tired of answering questions on the phone. Practice basic courtesy. Be professional. And sound like one!

Tip 84: Let’s get serious here.

Here’s an important tip: if you get 25 calls by the third day, your ad worked. Getting 25 calls means that 25 people read your ad and dialed your number. Don’t expect 25 buyers though. Callers and buyers are two separate people.

Tip 85: It bothers me…

When buyers come to visit, make sure there is nothing about your house that will distract them. Make sure the entrance door is clean, and if it’s winter time, make sure the snow has been cleared. Ensure that the entranceway is well lit and doesn’t look in disarray. Remove coats and other clothing from their field of vision, no skis by the doorway, no ball or other play objects that may obstruct the path or cause them to trip over. A buyer who trips in your house is a terrible way to start.

Tip 86: Dust collectors.

Buyers must feel that the seller has taste and class. Get rid of clutter before their visit. Dust collecting trophies and souvenir items bought during trips can make an ugly sight especially if they’re too close to one another without any order and are thick with dust!

101 Everyday Tips For Losing 10 Pounds PLR Ebook

91. Join a dance class. Dancing is a wonderful way to burn off those extra calories. It is true. When you dance you are in fact burning away a lot of calories. Of course we are not referring to the slow ballroom kind of dances in which one person actually leans on the other one for support. We are talking about fast dances. The best way to do it is by joining a dance class because they will really wok you out. But I would suggest that you wait for a couple more pounds to vanish before you think of becoming a ballerina.

92. Whenever you can, lean against a wall with your hands flattened against the wall and in such a way that your face is very close to the wall. Then use you hands to push your body away from the wall. Do this two or three times at a stretch.

93. If there is a pool nearby go for swims as often as you can, swimming is one of the best exercises. Water has a lot of advantages. And if nothing else, a cool dip in a pool is a wonderful stress reliever.

94. Try playing something like table tennis or basket ball. Games are a fun way to lose weight. It is much more exciting to play a game than just work out by yourself. The best thing about games is that they are addictive. Once you start playing you will soon end up with a friends’ circle and then the playing goes on without even you knowing it. It is something that you can look forward to and there is no stress involved in this program. In fact the more you play the less you will consider this to be a part of your weight loss program. As you burn away those calories, you will also be able to expand your social circle.

95. Any work out should start with a 5 to 10 minute warm up and should end with a 5 to ten minute cool down session. Whatever physical exercise you are involved in, you must remember to warm up before the exercise really starts. Do not just plunge into the water and start thrashing about, to put it figuratively. Your body needs to reach a certain level of readiness before it can actually start responding to exercise. And this readiness is achieved by the warming up process.

96. Do not carry your mobile phone around but leave it a place where you can hear it ringing. In this way you make sure that you at least get up and walk towards it. This might sound sill but I really mean it. You need a reason to keep yourself going. Life today has become so easy that we have every thing at our fingertips. All we have to do is push a button here and push a button there. The only things that get any exercise at all are our fingers. Years ago Charles Darwin put forward a theory of use and disuse.

101 Powerful Tips For Legally Improving Your Credit Score PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

Credit repair is no picnic. It requires continual work and effort to get a good credit score and to improve a bad one. In today’s busy life, you stand a much better chance of getting a better credit score if you make it as easy on yourself as possible. In many cases, people actually have low credit scores not because of carelessness or indifference, but because hectic lifestyles lead to oversights and missed credit payments. There are several things you can do to make good credit almost automatic.

Tip #72: Don’t let a bad credit score make you swear off purchases you must make

You will make life much harder on yourself if you deny yourself things you need - such as medical treatments - because your credit is poor. If you have bad credit, but need money for something urgent, consider a secured loan or a bad credit loan with generous terms. Do not let bad credit affect your ability to stay safe and healthy. Some people think that getting credit while trying to repair their FICO score is bad idea. While it is true that you may not get the best interest rates on the loans you get in the time before your credit score is improved, getting loans that you need may simply be too important to put off.

Tip #73: Make arrangements to pay your bills when you are on vacation or ill

When we go on vacation, of course we want to get away from it all, but when we forget to pay our bills while away, we risk getting dings on our credit that can affect our credit risk rating. Make it part of your vacation practice to pay bills in advance or to arrange someone to pay your bills while you are away. Similarly, while you are ill, arrange to have bills paid so that bills don’t pile up and so that you don’t get marked as a “non-payer.” It is frustrating to be trying to improve a credit score only to suffer a setback over a small oversight.

Tip #74: Consider online banking or telephone banking to make bill payment easier

If you have trouble getting your payments in on time, consider online or telephone banking. This simple system is now available from virtually revery bank and can help you pay your bills in minutes - at any time of the day or night. If you travel a lot, on line or telephone banking can be a real life-saver as it will allow you to pay your bills no matter where you are. Plus, you get instant confirmation of the paid bill and your payment is counted instantly. You no longer have to worry about payments getting lost in the mail or getting lost in a bureaucratic shuffle - the record of the payment is right on your bank account statement. If you lead a busy lifestyle and have several late payments of bills simply because you can’t quite keep up with the errand of paying bills, online or telephone banking can be the solution that can help your credit rating by effectively putting a stop to late or unpaid bills. With these two very convenient and quick payment options, there really is no excuse for unpaid accounts.

Tip #75: Simplify your bills

You can often get great discounts by choosing to get several services from the same company - for example, a package deal from your phone company can give you internet access, long distance phone plans, and cable television - all on one bill and all in one low price. Pooling your insurance into one package from one insurance provider can have the same effect. Reducing the number of bills you get can make it easier for you to pay your bills and so reduces the chances that your credit rating will be affected by non-paid or late paid bills.

Fitting Fitness Into A Busy Schedule PLR Ebook

Hopping in and out of planes is exercise enough, you say. But that’s not the kind of exercise that will condition your heart, make your reflexes and joints more fluid, keep the sugar levels or keep you from swinging from one mood to another!

Nor is it the kind of exercise that will make you euphoric after a good cardiovascular session. You need to counteract the effects of jet lag, artificial air in pressurized aircraft cabins and sky fatigue. Suzanne Schlosberg says,

“Sometimes your travels help you recognize how humdrum your workout routine has become. At home, it’s easy to fall into a rut – to use the same weight machines in the same order, week after week, month after month, simply out of habit. But a trip may take the routine out of your routine.

You may have no choice but to try new strength exercises or jog in the pool instead of swim laps. And you might find these new pursuits so enjoyable that you add them to your fitness repertoire at home.”
