What is a Vendor Party? It is a fair or expo where homebased business owners or distributors pay to present their business and products or services to others. Some have time slots, some don't. Some have games and prizes. In most cases these are not free-for-alls and follow some sense of order. Here are some guidelines to make the Online Event a pleasure for everyone.

Sign in with your name only unless you are a paid vendor for that particular fair. If you are a paid vendor for that fair then put your company initials after your name

When you come into the chat room, say hello and then wait to see what's happening.

Be attentive. Do not come in and then go and do something else where you aren't paying attention to what's going on. There's nothing worse for a vendor to feel like she's talking to herself.

Don't just start talking. A vendor might be in the middle of a presentation. The host will will welcome you and tell you what's going on. (She may PM {private message} you to tell you this)

All of us think our products are the best, but you can't PM a guest or another vendor and say that your products or offers are better. You wouldn't want someone to steal the person you were talking to in a presentation so you can't do it to others.

If you are not a paid vendor you CAN NOT mention your business unless specifically asked to by the host. Sometimes in a lull they will ask everyone present to post their URLs.

However history remembers Joel Comm’s ambitious blend of reality TV and internet marketing, there’s no doubt that The Next Internet Millionaire (TNIM) is a production on a scale that most home business owners can only dream about.

Joel Comm, as the host of TNIM, sets challenges for the contestants and then, at the conclusion, decides who isn’t going to make it to the next episode. The overall winner will receive the opportunity to work on a joint venture with Joel which will likely result in millionaire status.

The obvious comparison for this show is The Apprentice hosted by Alan Sugar in the UK and Donald Trump in the US. Team challenges are made and the losing team is interviewed to decide who should be eliminated (read ‘fired’).

Some additional twists are added with the opportunity for one member to obtain “immunity” status by winning a particular challenge. Poker-style E-Commerce chips are also dispensed for members to use in purchasing additional help with their challenges.

The majority of the show is given over to contestant interviews and ‘fly on the wall’ views of the challenges in progress. The consequence is that nothing of significant educational value is offered and all that remains is the fun of watching the contestants pitted against each other.

This alone would be fine, except that friction, in the first episode at least, is virtually non-existent. Most of the fun from The Apprentice centres on the cut-throat competition between the contestants, but Joel Comm has managed to gather together a group of pleasant, friendly people that, for the most, are falling over each other to be kind and supportive of one another.

The interviews focus on one or two inflammatory comments, but they’re insignificant and the creators of the show are clearly desperate for some action.

Article Writing Super Secrets Resale Rights Ebook

While most article marketers concentrate on ensuring that those who use their articles do not alter them and that the authors information is always included with the article, you can choose to take a different road. Allow your readers to change the links within the article, and within the resource box to their own affiliate links.

Right now, you are probably thinking “That’s just crazy! What would be the point if my articles will no longer contain my own affiliate links!” The point is that in the author’s resource box, the link to your website remains unchanged. You are still the author of the article, and you still get the recognition.

As you can see, you still benefit by getting the recognition and the traffic to your site, but you benefit even more because now ezine publishers and website owners are more compelled to use your articles, simply because they benefit from them as well.

This works well if you have affiliates promoting your product, or affiliates that are signed up under you when you are promoting someone else’s product as well. In fact, it motivates them to use the articles, and it gets you more commissions.

However, in many cases, it will be more appropriate to allow your affiliates to replace the links within the article as well as the resource box – meaning that they replace your authors information with their own. This will depend on what you hope to accomplish with your article in the first place.

Another option is to allow affiliates to replace all links within the article and the resource box with their own affiliate links, but to leave the rest of the authors information as it is, giving you recognition as the expert. You still benefit with increased commissions, and you benefit later on because you are keeping your foot in that door as an expert in the field.

“Opposites attract” is a law of attraction, at least where electromagnetism is concerned. But are there laws about attraction between two people? “In a world that is frill of strangers” as a line in a famous song of the 1980’s goes, is there a clear set of rules that allows two people to fall for each other?

Is attraction a matter of chemistry?

Maybe. According to scientists, the attraction between animals of the opposite sex is all about chemicals called pheromones. The effect of pheromones in behavior of insects is the most studied to date. It has been observed, at least in some experiments, that pheromones are responsible for communication among same species and colony of ants. The horrible odor released by skunks to ward off enemies is said to be a kind of pheromone. Some species of apes rub pheromone-containing urine on the feet of potential mates to attract them. Some scientists believe that animals (usually the females) such as insects and mammals send out these chemical signals to tell the male of their species that their genes are different from theirs. This gene diversity is important in producing offspring with better chances of survival. The perfume industry has capitalized on pheromones as a means to increase one’s sexual attractiveness to the opposite sex. Animals such as the whale and the musk deer were hunted down for these chemicals.

Lately, scientists are looking into the existence of human pheromones and its role in mate selection. There are many conflicting views in the realm of biology, chemistry, genetics, and psychology. Most scientists would assert that these do not exist, or if they do, do not play a role in sexual attraction between a man and a woman. But new researches such as that conducted by Swiss researchers from the University of Bern led by Klaus Wedekind are slowly making these scientists rethink their stand. Their experiment involved women sniffing the cotton shirts of different men during their ovulation period. It was found out that women prefer the smell of men’s shirts that were genetically different, but also shared similarities with the women’s genes. This, like in the case of insects and other mammals, was to ensure better and healthier characteristics for their future children.

But researchers also cautioned that preference for a male odor is affected by the women’s ovulation period, the food that men eat, perfumes and other scented body products, and the use of contraceptive pills.

Does personality figure in sexual attraction?

Yes, but so does your perception of a potential mate’s personality. According to a research conducted by Klohnen, E.C., & S. Luo in 2003 on interpersonal attraction and personality, a person’s sense of selfsecurity and at least the person’s perception of his/her partner were found to be strong determinants of attraction in hypothetical situations. What does this tell us? We prefer a certain personality type, which attracts you to a person. But aside from the actual personality of the person, which can only be verified through close interaction through time, it is your perception of your potential partner that attracts you to him/her, whether the person of your affection truly has that kind of personality or not This could probably account for a statement commonly heard from men and women on their failed relationships: “I thought he/she was this kind of person.”

So how does attraction figure in relationships?

You have probably heard that attraction is a prelude, or a factor towards a relationship. Most probably, at least in the beginning; but attraction alone cannot make a relationship work. It is that attraction that makes you notice a person from the opposite sex, but once you get to know the person more, attraction is just one consideration. Shared values, dreams, and passions become more significant in longterm relationships.

So should I stop trying to become attractive?

More than trying to become physically attractive, work on all aspects of your health: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Physical attraction is still a precursor. Remember, biology predisposes us to choose the partner with the healthiest genes. Where your emotions are concerned, just ask this to yourself: would you want to spend time with a person who feels insecure about him/herself? Probably not! There is wisdom in knowing yourself: who you are, your beliefs, values, and dreams. And do not pretend to be someone you are not Fooling another person by making him/her think that you share the same values and beliefs is only going to cause you both disappointments. When you are healthy in all aspects, attractiveness becomes a consequence and not an end. As mentioned in the Klohnen and Luo’s research, a person’s sense of self-security matters, perhaps even beyond attraction. But remember: do these things for yourself and not for other people. Only then can you truly harness your attractiveness as a person.

Getting Started With Blogging And Adsense Personal Use Ebook

Many of the blogs on the Web have been set up specifically to keep families in touch. There’s nothing wrong with that. If you use a blog to put up pictures of your kids or show your aunts and uncles what happened on your last vacation, you’ll have a great family relationship.

But you won’t have much money from AdSense. Writing solely about your family might be very easy and a lot of fun but few people make much money out of it. After all, other people’s family’s are only interesting for a short space of time.

Unless you turn a blog about a family into a blog about a family issue.

So if you had a child who had a stammer for example, in addition to writing about what she had for dinner last night or the trip to the amusement park last weekend, you could make sure you included plenty of regular posts about her speech therapy and the latest advances in treatment for stammerers.

You’d get plenty of ads for speech therapists, get talked about by other people interested in stammering and pick up plenty of free traffic.

Or if your son was keen on soccer, you could make sure you talk about youth soccer leagues, give the latest news on the tournaments and describe what happens behind the scenes as kids dream about becoming professional soccer players.

The idea is always to expand the interest in your family blog beyond your immediate family. You do that by giving it a theme that will appear to more people than your favorite aunt and uncle.

If all the people who would want to read your blog can fit around your dinner table at Thanksgiving, you can forget about making any money from AdSense. You’ve got to find some aspect of your family to expand the circle.

The Milton model forms the other part of the basis of NLP, the yin to the yang of the Meta-model, if you like. Whereas the Meta-model drives toward eliminating the fuzzy vagueness of language, the Milton tries to eliminate the specifics of language to attempt to unveil the underlying subconscious levels (unconscious model) rather than the conscious (cognitive) model. The Milton model was named after Milton Erickson, the founding President of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis who is generally recognized as the originator of clinical hypnotherapy.

The Milton model is most often used to gain and build rapport. This is useful in many situations, whether they be casual social situations, meetings at work or in a sales type environment. In any of these situations you will have an advantage when you build rapport. To do this generalities are used instead of specifics and nouns are most often nominalized. This is another way of making your conversation as non-specific and non-threatening as possible.

If you are making conversation with someone and you ask about the previous weekend you would want to keep the conversation general and then try to steer them into defining the direction it takes. For example, if the person you are talking to says they were out with their friends, you might ask what friends they were with. Your end of the conversation would be more mirroring what they were saying to build the rapport and gain their confidence.

Application to Business In a business context the Milton model is very useful in public speaking. When one uses more generalities one has more rapport with a crowd. Think about the last speech you heard. Probably it was from a politician. If there was a press corps and the politician was taking questions, odds are very strong the answers were vague. This is classic Milton, where the politician can’t be too specific about ‘things’ because specifics might come back to haunt them. The same thing happens in many business meetings, especially board meetings and public meetings, such as annual stock holders meetings.

In more intimate settings individuals can match and mirror a client or colleague. You can try to match a person’s physical stance, their vocabulary, the tonal quality of their voice, and try to imagine what they might be thinking. If you are imitating them closely enough you will start to pick up on their general thought, at least minimally. As you are talking to the person you can lead them slowly and softly in the direction you wish to go, and if they are in true rapport they will go along with you. This is not to say that you are going down a path they would object to, but one that will benefit them. When in rapport the two of you will more likely see eye to eye.

What is Hubpages.com?

The Hubpages team was founded by three guys out of Microsoft that were part of the successful startup MongoMusic. The team includes Paul Edmondson, Jay Reitz, and Paul Deeds.

Many of you may have heard of Squidoo which is a competitor of Hubpages. Basically both of them are a ?free-hosted community of content producers?. Both Squidoo and Hubpages can be ?grouped? into the Web 2.0 movement ? where user generated content rules.

Both Squidoo and Hubpages SHARE REVENUE with their content creators (YOU). In my experience the revenue numbers are still low, but the opportunity is growing. (But as you will see throughout this report, there are MANY other reasons to focus on Hubpages vs. just the revenue sharing . . .)

One of Hubpages differences is in how they share profits with the producers of the content on this free hosting / Web 2.0 platform:

“Hubpages purpose is to provide easy-to-use tools and traffic to help anyone to produce content and monetize their knowledge by creating webpages. There will be monetization programs to choose from consisting of products, advertisements and lead generation tools that each person can easily incorporate into their pages. Hubpages will split revenue with the content creator. The pages are organized in the Hubpages website based on algorithmic quality index that promotes the best pages throughout the hierarchy (based on tags) of the website. Each author will earn a reputation score called a HubScore that can be referenced to meter the quality of the content by an

Hubpages will be positioned to take advantage of the significant numbers of new web content providers that want to supplement their income through content like many people do on eBay by selling goods.

The Hubpage Version

“Squidoo: We divide up the money we receive in a very public way. First, we pay our bills. That’s direct out of pocket expenses like rent and servers and salary and benefits expenses (our CEO doesn’t take a salary, and neither does our board of directors). Then, with no other deductions, we pay 5% of our post-expense revenue directly to the charity pool, 50% directly to our lensmasters and retain the rest to pay off investors and employees.

Ordinary people have created superb products from home, using the same tools that you probably already have in your hard drive (or you can get at a total snip).

You CAN produce your own exclusive information product – if you are completely new to making money from home then I would start with eBay and resale rights simultaneously and then move on to creating an income from your own info-products.

As someone who has created a suite of information products that have sold for as much as $97 I can tell you there is a formula that just about anyone can apply and succeed with info-products.
