Opportunity #4 - "The Writer Within"

What is the focus of your site? Is it golf? If so, you probably know a little bit about selecting the proper club. Is it dogs? If so, you could probably tell others a thing or two about training a puppy. Is it health? If that's the case, you might know something about the benefits of multivitamins. So what's the point? Well, it has been said that there is at least ONE book in every person (including people who can't write a lick!). I'm not suggesting that you compile a manuscript and hustle the streets looking for a publisher to put your book in every Barnes and Noble in the world. This is the Internet age and ANYONE can become a digital book publisher overnight.

You've probably read an ebook before (such as my ebook on making money with Google AdSense), but have you ever given thought to writing an ebook of your own? You might be interested to know that I never intended to write an ebook on Google AdSense. But when I started sharing my AdSense success story with friends and associates, they suggested that I write an ebook and sell it. My ebook success came from writing about my area of expertise.

Hardback and softcover books cost a bundle to create. But writing, selling and distributing an ebook provides potential for incredible profits!

Whether your ebook is a short 10-page report or a 150-page authoritative guide, put your expertise into action and share it in the form of an instantly downloadable PDF document. People online are willing to pay more for the instant gratification of purchasing a product and having it in their possession a few moments later.

Don't know where to start? I am going to point you to, what else, an eBook! This title is called "How to Write and Publish Your Own Ebook in as Little as Seven Days". It is written by Joe Vitale and Jim Edwards, two guys who have been very successful in this arena. As the authors would say, this book will teach you “How to write and publish your own OUTRAGEOUSLY Profitable ebook in as little as 7 days – even if you can’t write, can’t type and failed high school English class!”

The ebook limbs on the money tree stretch as far as the eye can see. Find your niche and let the book come forth. I recommend you pick up a copy of Joe and Jims’ ebook today, and get busy writing your best seller!

There is no need for any hard-sell

All you do is provide people with advice. You really are helping them with a problem they know they have.

It is repetitive, without being annoying.

Seeing links like this over and over again, your visitors/subscribers will eventually click one of them out of curiosity - and off they go! And if they don't buy the first time, seeing the link again and again will keep reminding them of the product and its benefits.

It is timely

You are introducing people to the idea of proper organization at precisely the moment they are going to be thinking about where to store something.

People get to retain YOUR information for future purchases

Once someone has bought the organizational product (e.g. the IM Index Mind Map), your filing advice links no longer operate as promotional links, but really do provide your contacts with helpful advice. They encourage them to store the information properly.

This is still to your advantage because, if they are not ready to make a purchase at the time you promote some product, they are much more likely to retrieve your information - having filed it away properly - and make the purchase using your promotional material when they are ready.

Apply everything you read above to Internet Marketing now. As you may know, Internet Marketers are a new breed of people all over the World. They all have one thing in common: 100% of them do not have a degree in Internet Marketing.

There is no study that reveals the educational background of Internet Marketers, so what we know today has been “discovered” from what we read online and through their works.

The team of “Internet Marketing Gurus” has attracted people from all professions: from truck drivers and pizza boys to doctors and lawyers.

The definition of an Internet Marketer could easily be: “Someone who uses the Internet to make money.” This is what Internet Marketing is. I do not know who you are and what you have done in your life. But this does not matter at all.

Because you and Guru X share one common element: you both deal with Internet Marketing. If you become a better Guru than Guru X, then what you have done in your off line life will not matter at all. People will not ask you about your “previous life.” People online care about 1 thing only…. (can you guess??)

“What can you offer me that nobody else can?”

As in Jack’s case, you have an advantage if you have an educational background. This is because what really matters from the years you spent in the University is not actually what you have learned, but what you can DO with what you have learned and how you can transform this knowledge into money. Your best advantage, if you have an educational background, is that you know how to COMPLETE works.

Read it again. Essays and dissertations in universities teach you not only the subject, but furthermore, they teach you how to WORK, how to THINK and how to START and COMPLETE a project.

This is your only advantage if you have that educational background. Even this advantage means nothing if you cannot answer THE question. “What can you offer me that nobody else can?”

Chances are that Jack may have more success as an Internet Marketer because of his zest to succeed. And in all cases both Jacks (college-educated Jack and never-went-to-college Jack) share the same percentages of success on the Net.

Both Jacks can be Internet Marketers. Even if Jack “A” HAS a degree in “Internet Marketing” then again Jack “B” can beat Jack “A” if he can give a better answer to THE question asked by the customer online:

“What can you offer me that nobody else can?” Yes…

It seems that everybody can become an Internet Marketer today. S/he only has to answer THE question to the customer waiting with his/her wallet open and his/her credit card in his/her hand.

Find the answer and you have your chance to be “hired.” Speaking of Internet Marketing, you are “hired” by consumers all over the World. Quite a “high level job” position…

When you know why you make certain purchases, then you will know how to get others to buy from you. The biggest motivators of most purchases are our feelings.

If you are unhappy about your weight you will buy something to help you lose weight, not just because the doctor says you should. You probably do not buy candles because you need them. You get them because you like the way they make you feel, when you smell them or when you see them.

As human beings it is our nature to be happy and comfortable. People like to reduce pain and increase pleasure. We buy to find a solution to a problem, or improve the amount of pleasure in our lives. Pain is the biggest motivator of all because problems increase pain and reduce pleasure.

Here is a pure emotional example. You are at a park. You barely notice it, but out of the corner of your eye you see a snake lying in the grass. You jump, your body tenses and your heart rate jumps, all enabling you to run… but you look again at the “sna ke” and it is nothing more than a stick.

Your brain saw a snake. A snakebite causes pain. Your brain produced fear. Your body did everything it could to protect you. Now when you looked again, you saw it as a stick.

Knowing your job could disappear also causes pain. Knowing your boss is a jerk causes pain. Knowing without a job you cannot pay bills, buy groceries or take care of your family causes pain. Therefore you keep your job because it is the lesser pain.

Most people, who desire to work from home, want to reduce the pain caused by their J.O.B. or time away from family and friends. Thus the ability to work from home and make money increases pleasure.

A New Year You Give Away Rights Ebook

This relates to the previous step, but it is not exactly the same. Unless you get specific about your goals, you can’t define the little steps that add up to real success. Unless you can measure the results, you’ll never know when you’ve completed a step and are ready for the next one.

Most of us have made vague types of New Year’s resolutions, such as “I’m really going to get into shape.” Chances are you can’t even remember how many times you’ve done that, because vague resolutions never work.

The desire to get into shape is wonderful, and awareness of the problem is always the first step to solving it. But “getting into shape” is not an effective resolution, and anyone who makes such a vague, formless resolution is not going to stick with it for very long. It’s just not possible. Imagine trying to grab hold of a cloud, and you’ll understand right away.

What does getting “into shape” means. Does it mean you’re going to lose 3 inches off your stomach? Or that you’re going to lose 25 pounds? Or add 4 inches to your chest and biceps? Maybe it means you’ll be able to run a 10k race without stopping, or beat your previous record by 5 minutes. For others, it might mean getting those six pack abs to show off at the beach. Whatever it means to you, that’s your ultimate goal. Now you can write your New Year’s resolutions around the behavior or actions that will cause you to achieve your goal.

Once again, you can start out miles ahead by following a proven system. If you can afford a personal trainer, that’s ideal. If not, The Truth About Six Pack Abs and Fit Over Forty are two proven fitness programs. If you work long hours on your computer or at a desk, take a look at Better Pos-ture Guaranteed.

The point to remember is that resolutions must be specific and measur-able. If they’re not, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment, because there’s no real way to know if you’ve met your goal or not. Imagine playing football without a goal line, or baseball without home plate. This is true for all New Year’s resolutions, not just ones involving losing weight or get-ting fit.

“I am going to spend more time with my family,” is an admirable state-ment, but it’s not really a New Year’s resolution. Contrast that with, “I’m going to be home from work every night by 6:30, plus, I’m going to turn down extra work assignments for Saturdays and Sundays, and plan the days around family outings and activities.” There’s a huge difference be-tween the two—one is a vague idea, the other involves specific and mea-surable actions. So be specific and know what you want when writing your New Year’s resolutions—it can mean the difference between success and failure.

Talk with, not at, your prospect Your sales message should be a conversation, not a one-sided sales pitch. To keep a prospect involved, ask lots of yes and no questions in your copy. The questions can remind them of their problems (Are you tired of paying too much for life insurance?), remind them of your solutions (Wouldn’t you like an insurance agent who put you first for a change?), and alert them to the “danger” of not acting now (Can you afford to leave your family unprotected?)

Add incentives for acting NOW Turn your prospects into eager beavers by offering extra incentives for quick action. This can be a percentage-off discount, a faster shipping option, or free gift-wrapping.

Incentives to come again Discount coupons, bonus points that earn free gifts, a buyer’s club, etc. are all ways to encourage customers to make repeat purchases. And, when they’re redeeming their coupons, you have a chance to sell and sell again.

Use highlights to spotlight You can significantly enhance the power of the benefits listed in your copy by using color, highlighting, underlining, and even attention-getting words and phrases (including slang and “blue” lan-guage).

“Surf” a mile in someone else’s shoes When you’re creating your site, put yourself in a first-time visitor’s shoes. Design the site for them…create your product pitch around them… do everything you can to show them the value of doing business with you.

Everyone wants to feel good about themselves Make visitors feel good about themselves and they’ll feel good about doing business with you. Compliment them on their intelligence (“You’re smart not to wait until your storm drain prob-lem gets worse”) or on being “a cut above” (“This success program isn’t for average people…this is for winners only”).

A little trust can earn a lotta dough Test a “bill me later” option on your website. It sends an unmistakable message that says, “My product is great and I know you’ll love it” that can instantly transform a prospect into a sale. And don’t worry: most people are honest and will pay what they owe.

Create emotional attachments As soon as your ad copy can get a prospect to “experience” what it would be like to experience the positive results you deliver, they begin to develop an emotional attachment that will keep them “hooked” until you close the deal. Your copy must make your reader see, feel, hear, and taste everything your product has to offer.

2 Minute Videos Made Easy : Video Report Personal Use Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

Wikipedia Definition - A cliche or catchphrase used to refer to looking at a problem from a new perspective without preconceptions, sometimes called a process of lateral thought. Do some research at YouTube or Google Video and see which videos are watched the most. You will soon see that only the most creative and original videos have some common elements. They are entertaining through the use of humor or shock factor or a combination of both!

Comical Videos

Comical videos are great because they appeal to a very wide audience. Young, old, rich, poor-everybody likes to have a good laugh. That’s why the funny videos are so popular. So if you can make your video a very funny one, you’re going to draw a large crowd.

Even your video is just a series of funny pictures with silly music in the background; you can draw a lot of traffic with them. Have a funny script if you want to talk about your video content and certainly make sure you have your humor tested if you would like to appear onscreen. See the video resources below.

Shocking Videos

The term shocking can be more difficult to achieve. Many young people have achieved this by doing dangerous stunts. An internet phenomena was started with a young man running into fence posts. I would never recommend this but it is a good example of how powerful (and sometimes dangerous) video can be.

If you want to explore the shock factor I would recommend something verbal. MADD made great headway with their commercials about drunk driving and the shock factor they instilled with cold hard facts. Shock tactics are more difficult to use and must be done with care but if used correctly can be extremely effective.

Impact Popup Version 10 MRR Software

Grab Your Visitors By The Eyeballs, Explode Your Profits, And Practically Force Your Prospects To See Your Message With The Latest Profit Producing Technology ... "Impact" PopUps!

We'll show you exactly how to do it in just a few simple steps - even if you don't know a single line of HTML code!

In today's fast-paced world, you have to make an impact fast! You only have a few seconds to grab your visitors attention, or you risk loosing them forever.

You need to control what your visitors see first, and without a doubt, the most effective way to do that is using popups. But, there's a problem.

According to a recent study, it is estimated that 86% of the visitors to your website have at least one pop-up blocker installed. And to make matters worse, most of the major Internet service providers, and almost every new web browser being released are including popup blockers too!

Were you one of the millions of marketers forced, against your will, to abandon one of your most effective advertising methods? It's time to fight back, and we're going to show you how to do it.

Dear Frustrated Marketer,

What if I could show you a way to capture your visitors attention, force them to read your most important message, and do it with just a few simple clicks? Would that interest you?

It's no secret that popups are effective, but traditional popups only work if your visitor doesn't have a popup blocker installed.

Most popup blocker technology works the same way. Almost all popup blockers look for any code that creates a new window, and then closes that window before it even has a chance to open. This seemingly harmless technology is blocking more than just a popup, it's killing your profits!

Learn To Play Guitar Package MRR Ebook

There are many different notes that a guitar can tune to. Blues players and fingerstylists are famous for using altered tunings. However there is a standard guitar tuning and this is where all students of the instrument should start. This tuning is, low to high, E, A, D, G, B and E. The high E is, on a piano, the E directly above middle C The tuning works downward from there.

Reference Tuning is tuning the guitar’s strings to another source such as a pitch pipe, piano, or another guitar. The reference pitch is first played and then the corresponding pitch (generally an open string) is played on the guitar. The tuning pegs are then turned either to the left or the right, moving the pitch of the string up or down until the pitch of he reference instrument and the pitch of the guitar are exactly the same. This is probably the most difficult method and it’s best to have someone who knows how show you a couple of times until you get the hang of it.

Relative Tuning is the process of tuning the guitar to itself. Notes and chords will sound correct as long as the guitar is playing solo, but the pitch of the entire guitar may be too high or too low when compared to another instrument. Play the low E string at the fifth fret, then play the A string open. These two pitches should be exactly the same. Move the tuning key for the A string either flat or sharp as necessary until the two strings both ring at the same pitch. Repeat this process for the width of the guitar with the exception of the second, or B, string. To tune this string you must play on the third, or G, string at the fourth fret. Return to the fifth fret to tune the high E string.

Electronic Tuning is generally the easiest form of tuning for the novice guitarist to master. This method uses an electronic tuner to locate the correct pitches. Electronic tuners are available at any music store for $20-$35. You generally get what you pay for with these things and, unfortunately, the more expensive tuners tend to be much more accurate and thus, easier to use. Purchase the best model of tuner that you can reasonably afford - it will pay off in the long run.

While each model of tuner varies slightly in its operation, the general principles apply for all models. Refer to your tuner’s operation manual for instructions pertaining specifically to your model. Almost all electronic tuners have two distinct modes: automatic and manual.

Auto mode is for more advanced users and assumes that your strings are reasonably close to being in tune. For the sake of this discussion we will cover only the manual mode.

Generally, in this mode, you select the string you wish to tune by hitting up and down buttons on your tuner. Make sure that the guitar is very close to the tuner or, in the case of an electronic tuner, is physically connected to the guitar with a %” instrument cable.

Play the string repeatedly and see if the tuner is indicating flat or sharp for the note you selected. While still playing the note, adjust the tuning peg of the string with your free hand until the tuner indicates that the string is in tune. Generally this is indicated by a green light coming on.
