How To Become A Top Seller On Ebay PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

One of the things that a potential buyer will look at, besides your item, is your feedback rating.

A feedback rating is what others have said about you as a buyer and as a purchaser. You want the best possible rating because this tells buyers that you are a person that can be trusted to sell and purchase in an honest manner.

One way to get a fast feedback rating is to purchase penny items from eBay sellers. There are a great number of low-priced items on eBay, from eBooks to toys. Even if you don't particularly need the item, you DO need a good feedback rating to instill trust in your potential clients.

Make sure you treat your customers right and hopefully they will reciprocate by leaving you an excellent feedback rating. In this way you'll be building a solid reputation in the eBay community and word of mouth (feedback) means a great deal there.

Naturally you cannot please all the people all the time, but do your best and soon you'll have a reputation as someone that can be purchased from with peace of mind.

So put potential buyer's minds at ease by keeping your feedback rating high and you'll make a lot more sales.

We just discussed how you could save a ton of time updating your websites using simple PHP code. This time, we are going to show you how you can use PHP to make your job as a Webmaster even easier.

In our example, we are going to pretend we are developing a massive website with hundreds of content pages. We would like to showcase advertisements on individual pages of our site, perhaps Google Adsense. We would also like to test different color schemes to see what works best based on our current design. We also want to be able to change the ads periodically to determine what converts the best.

PHP will make it exceptionally easy to accomplish all of this quickly and effortlessly in comparison with editing every single page each time you want to change the color, or edit an ad.

Simply open up two blank text files. The first one is going to be our “settings file”, and the second one will contain our Google Adsense code.

In the settings file, we are going to want to set variables for the things that we are going to change from time to time, for example the main Adsense publisher code and the color scheme.

A wonderful way to make your sales skyrocket would be to start your own recruitment program, where you recruit others to sell your products for you.

Many large national companies (Like Avon™ and Mary Kay™) have become a huge success by using this method, and you can practice this same technique to expand your business beyond your wildest dreams.

Before starting, you will first need to determine what percentage of the sales you can afford to offer to members of your sales team. A nice figure would be at least 25% of sales, to give your recruits enough incentive to sell for you.

Now some of your products may take too long to create, or the profit margin may not be large enough to offer this high of a percentage. If this is the case, then create a catalog for your recruits that offer only the products that you can affordably offer a nice percentage of the profits with.

Once you determine the price you would like to offer your sales team members, you will then need to draft a basic contract that lists the fees they will receive on sales.

You will need the help of an attorney when drafting your contract, as this is something that should be done by a legal professional. Without a proper contract, you could put your business in jeopardy if miscommunication problems arise between you and your recruits.

Aside from paying a percentage of the sales to your recruits, you can also offer incentives for best sales, most recruits, etc. as additional bonuses to encourage your consultants to do the best they can do.

If you decide to offer incentives, make sure these are covered in your contract as well. Once you have your contract ready, then you will want to develop recruitment kits for your new recruits.

I've had people ask me why they're having trouble getting affiliates to promote for them, and more often than not, they're trying to get people to promote a one off sale $10 product, or something similar. Now if that's not re-occurring, and has no follow-up product, then what good is a $5 one off commission for the promoter? Not a lot. Of course I'm not saying you wouldn't get any affiliates in this situation, but it may be harder than you expect to attract. The competition for joint ventures, lists, and affiliates right now is as harsh and as cut throat as the competition for actual sales of products.

So before you actually decide to shell out on some sort of affiliate software, make sure that you don't offer commissions that are too low, non-reoccurring, or don't have a second level. Put yourself in the affiliates’ shoes. Remember, they don’t care about your profits. They care about theirs.

If you were them, would you promote your product? Would it be profitable for you? Would it even be worth your time? These are the things to think about when not only setting commissions, but deciding whether or not it's even worth having an affiliate program up there for people to take advantage of in the first place. If you can't answer those two questions with a confident 'yes' then your setup probably needs to be changed in some way until you can, because it's likely others will have the same reaction as you, and your tracking and testing results will tell you the same.

If you don't have an affiliate system up and running already, and have just skimmed through this so far, I would suggest coming back and using this as a reference when you do start thinking about setting one up. It should be soon though, how about with your next product?
