Bartering For Leads

Let’s move on to bartering for leads.

Bartering for leads is a really great way to generate the highest quality leads you can generate besides having your own product and having an affiliate program.

In actuality, it is almost the same or identical to that, except for you are NOT selling your own product.

Here's how it works...

What you want to do is go to a marketer who does product launches, who is bigger than you online.

They don’t have to be huge; you could just go to someone who does WSO’s, for example.

If you go to someone who does WSO’s often, you can say this, “I’ll do customer service for your launch,” or “I’ll write the sales page for your launch,” or “I’ll create bonuses for your launch,” or “I’ll help create the products for your launch,” or “I’ll help create buzz using social media for your launch,” or “I’ll help get JV’s on board for your launch” or, “I’ll do (something) for your launch in exchange for leads.”

So you’re not asking for money, you’re asking for leads.

You’re not asking for them export leads to you; we’re talking about just placing some kind of bonus on yours on their download page that customers have to opt-in for, which you get the lead for.

For example, this one time I did one of these bartering for leads deals with a top marketer, and for his bonuses on his actual sales page, I advertised my bonuses that they’re going to have to opt-in for.

So on the download page there was a link to my squeeze page, which allowed them to opt-in to download the bonuses.

On the page after the squeeze page was the download page for the bonuses.

I didn’t send them through any kind of sales funnel, but the thing is, you get a list of red-hot buyers when you do this.

I’m talking about scorching hot buyers.

That first week of having that list you want to promote your highest converting thing, do a webinar or do something that you made money within the past because this is the time to sell them while they’re the hottest and they’re buyers (you have gained trust by them listening or watching your bonus, depending on what the product is, so they will be responsive).

Actually, the way I came up with the bonus for these kinds of launches is I would just use private label rights.

So I use private label rights material that was a video course that I didn’t even record, but I had rights to give away as a bonus to a paid product.

So that's something to think about.

One of my best tactics was solo ads, one was ad swaps, and at one point click banking.

I did click banking on a big scale.

Bartering for leads was a huge, huge tactic that I’ve done before.

It’s not a current phase I’m going through but it works like a charm.

It’s not going anywhere.

It will always be effective.

It’s a very simple tactic where you barter your skills with a product launcher who adds your bonus to their download page and the customers have to opt-in for it.

It’s not like relying on Google for leads because they can slap that away somehow for you.

And it's not getting less effective like ad swaps are for example.

Your Own Affiliate Program

Another way to generate red-hot quality leads is by having your own affiliate program.

Now I’m going to tell you that I’ve mainly generated leads through using Rapid Action Profits.

I know that a lot of people in recent days have moved on to other scripts, such as Warriorplus.com, WSO Pro or JVZoo.com or DigiResults.com, but I like trusty old Rapid Action Profits.

It may cost $197, whereas I bought it for something like $297.

It’s always being updated so it’s not out of date with technology or anything, but the reason why I like Rapid Action Profits over any other is two-fold.

For one, I only have to pay a fee one time to use it.

So I pay my $197 for the script and I use it over and over and over.

Or there may be, like with WSO Pro, you have to pay a fee every time you want to start a WSO with.

I’d rather have a script like Rapid Action Profits so I can use it over and over and over.

This is just my personal opinion and preference.

Also, I think there is a lot of wisdom in what I’m about to tell you with Rapid Action Profits vs. the other solutions.

The other solutions are like affiliate networks, so when you’re recruiting affiliates to actually promote your product, they may end up promoting someone else’s product, but with Rapid Action Profits, you have complete control over the situation.

So once you show people your affiliate program, there’s only an option to promote you.

Therefore, whenever I launch a product on Rapid Action Products, the bottom of the screen I have a link that says, “Affiliates make 100% commissions.”

They click there and then they sign up for my affiliate program through Rapid Action Profits.

They can now get their link and they can then sell the product.

If I use the other programs, and I have a link at the bottom that says, “Sign up here to promote my product,” and then they go to some affiliate network, they’ll probably end up promoting some other product that they find.

They maybe will get lost trying in the sea of products trying to find mine; they give up and not promote any product at all.

The best kind of affiliate program that attracts affiliates is to have an instant PayPal commission affiliate program like the ones I’ve been talking about.

You can also use something like ClickBank, but you can’t give away 100% commissions from ClickBank.

With these other programs, you can give away 100% commissions, which is really attractive on the front end to affiliates, and then you can give 50% commission on the one-time offer, for example.

You’re making money off sales, but you are attracting affiliates that you don’t have to ethically bride much to promote for you.

If you’re giving away 100% commissions, in my mind, you’re not going to owe any other affiliates back for promoting you because you gave away 100% commissions.

Those leads that you get right away are going to be red-hot leads.

Chapter 7: Choosing The Best Anti Spyware Tool

The bottom line is, "Which is the best possible anti spyware tool for me?"

The answer is complex. There are several things to take into consideration now that you've done all of the necessary research to learn about the spyware options you have. Take in all of this before you make a decision, though.
More Than One

One thing to consider is to have several anti spyware tools available to you to use. Here's the thing. There are some good free anti spyware products out there. After you've done your research and know which ones are acceptable, it can be helpful to pair several together.

Why do you need more than one? As we've mentioned, definitions and updates change. Some may have more advanced or even more specific solutions than others do. Some may look in other files than others. Some are more selective while others are more complete.

Pairing a couple of programs together can often help you to find the best solution. If you do go this route, make sure that you've done your homework. You want to make sure that any product your download is actually clean of spyware itself.

If you do this, you'll also want to be selective in which programs you choose for cost reasons. It would be pretty expensive to download three or four programs that cost $50 each. Instead, look for high quality lower costing products and pair them together.

This is also a good way to get more for the money you plan to invest in this search for anti spyware products.

Having more than one product can be helpful, but let's first plan on getting just the first one done so that you can start protecting your computer.

Find The Experts

There are some excellent webmasters and bloggers available that take the time to meticulously download, run and then review software tools. This is an excellent tool for you to use. They usually offer their services without cost with the sole purpose of educating you.

To find these authors, just do a Google search for spyware bloggers. Then, visit their website and sign up for their newsletters or their RSS feed. Why bother doing this? It's simple. They review products that are available to you.

They take the time to do all of the comparison work for you.

It's a great way to learn more about what's out there and to be able to compare one anti spyware program to the next, in black and white.

When you visit these websites, many of the bloggers or webmasters actually provide a reviewing system for the consumer. Find one or two of the best rated anti spyware products.

Even better is to visit several of these websites and get a good idea about which ones are the very best overall. The ones recommended by several are even better.

One thing to consider about these, though, is that these reviewers shouldn't be making a commission from selling one or the other product. Look for an honest reviewer to take advantage of.

Make this part of your decision process. It gives you not only information about your options but also the expert advice you need.

Price

Let's face it, cost matters to most of us no matter what the benefit of a computer protection level is. Cost should play a role in the type of anti spyware product you purchase.

Remember this rule: Not all free anti spyware products are okay to use. But, the most expensive anti spyware products are likely to be no better than another other product.

You are looking for something in the middle. Here's what you want to consider in relation to the cost of any anti spyware protection tool.

What does the program offer in the way of protection?

In price consideration, it may be cheaper to use a detection and removal tool that can be found right online without cost. But, what you truly need is a tool that will take this to the next step. That is, it needs to protect you in real time, as we've discussed.

If it does not provide this, it is likely to cost you much less. But, if you can't remember to weekly (or more often) visit the location and run the spyware, you are in a potentially risky situation. If you can count on running that type of a check often, then this low cost may be beneficial.

How Do You Get Upgrades?

The next important consideration is what type of updates you can get. If you subscribe to a service, you may be able to save yourself some money in getting updated signatures and definitions for the anti spyware program you install.

We've talked about how programs are updated and why, but the question is, how does this effect your cost of the program. Of course, a program that provides constant monitoring is going to be more costly. But, the updates on these programs usually happen as they are available. Other programs will need you to visit manually to make them happen.

Since most people would have a hard time remembering to visit and get the necessary upgrades, you'll want to carefully consider how this will affect your specific needs.

It may be worth paying a bit more for the protection of updates that happen automatically. That way, your computer is protected against constant spyware threats. There is no doubt that you need to have these downloaded to the software tool you are using. Don't skimp on this as an old, or un-updated or under- updated product is useless.

Is It Part Of A Bundle?

Some anti spyware and anti adware products are actually more affordable if you purchase them with other software products that you need.

For example, you may find that your Internet Service Provider may provide a free spyware and adware scan as part of your subscription to their service.

If you choose to use a program like this, spend a few minutes looking at who the company is and what type of quality the product actually has. Many of the leading ISP's are now offering this as an additional service.

Is it cheaper, though? Often, you can combine the anti spyware and anti adware products you are selecting along with anti virus products. This can be quite rewarding if you are looking for both tools. You definitely need to have these on your system.

Find A Relevant Topic

Have you read the newspaper only to get the feeling that the very article that you are reading is already published all over the Internet for a long time?

Those articles are probably taken from article directories from the Internet, and yet it is a viable source for information on any niche!

If you want to drive tons of traffic to your website using a free or low cost way, then article directory submissions are the to go!

Why article marketing is so lucrative is because of the following reasons:

Famous article directories have LOTS of targeted traffic. Thousands of people go to article directories to source for content (e.g. for your local newspaper).

Similar to high traffic blogs, article directories also allow you to brand yourself as an expert.

Some article directories rank high on the search engines – it allows your author bio to rank high on the SERP (search engine result page) and it even passes the PR (page rank) juice to your websites.

Write an article about product or something related to your website. (If you can?t write, don?t worry… you can pay someone as low as $5 to get a quality article written for you).

Once your article is complete, do a search on Google for the search term – “article directory”.

You will find a list of article directories.

Choose one of them and register as an author or an article writer and contribute your article to the directory. It might take a few days or even a week to get an article approved, so make sure you are patient enough to wait.

Once your article is approved, it will remain on the „front page? of that particular niche for a couple of days before it is „pushed down? by newer article submissions.

Rinse And Repeat

One of the advantages of article directory submissions is that you can take the same article and author bio and re-use them over and over again.

What you can do is to „cut-and-paste? the article and post the article to a list of article directories (when in doubt – use Google).

Occasionally, you may find the process too tedious; you can outsource it to someone else for a low price of $27-37 dollars to submit that article for you to a few hundred directories.

If your article is well written, employing this outsourcing method will send a HUGE surge of traffic to your website so you must be prepared. This will not last forever because the articles do not remain on the top page all the time.

Make sure that you are not too „sales pitchy? about your product or your website because some article directories are particular about the quality of the articles. They are after all, looking for quality content, not another sales letter.

Chapter 6: Content Membership Contribution

Another Source Of Massive Traffic

If you have your very own E-product, you can easily submit your product to a high-traffic membership site that provides quality content.

The concept is also similar to blog and article contributors except that it takes it up a notch to E-book creation.

The nature of these content membership sites requires new content to be added in from time to time.

What better way to get your own product in front of the eyes of thousands of resellers and Internet marketers who can?t wait to sell YOUR product for their own profits (assuming that your product has resell rights to it of course).

The Members Are Your Resellers

If your E-product has master resell rights or unrestricted private label rights, you can be sure that your products will be all over the Internet in no time.

Resellers are always looking for products with a complete sales letter to it. If you have drafted out a sales letter that converts well, you can be sure that a lot of resellers will „cut-and-paste? your sales letter and your E-book and sell it to their mailing list.

The same goes for certain PLR products as well.

The most important thing for you to remember is this – your books must constantly lead the readers to your websites.

Your links must be placed strategically in the E-books and as your E-books are duplicated all over the Internet, you can be sure to drive plenty of new visitors to your website – even if they are not in your circle of influence!

Invest Regularly in Advertising

Those who choose to make their living by sailing on the rough and tumble sea of Internet marketing are, by nature, confident, self-assured people who well understand that investment in many things is a necessity for survival.

Some of them will require only an investment of time while others will include an investment of money, as well. Advertising, however, is essential. Advertising should be at the top of the ‘to-do’ list of every Internet marketer every day of the week.

First, let’s discuss paid-for advertising. This is where PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising comes in. Your advertising budget needs to include a certain amount for PPC advertising. You can set a budget with search engines and limit the amount you will pay each day for PPC advertising. Set that limit as high as you can to begin with and then increase it as you soon as possible.

Another very effective method of paid advertising is to take out advertisements in Ezines that are related to the products and services that you sell. There are thousands of people who regularly receive E-zines in their inboxes about subjects that are near and dear to their hearts.

Most E-zine subscribers actually read the E-zines that they subscribe to and if you have an advertisement in it, they will see it. Advertising in E-zines is a very effective, as well as, cost effective way to advertise.

Now, let’s discuss some ways in which to advertise that don’t cost any money. Paying for advertising doesn’t take much time but free advertising requires a time investment. These free advertising methods that we will discuss are possibly even more valuable than the paid for ones that we have discussed before because they will not only advertise your product, service or website but, in addition, they will help to build your visibility and your credibility in your niche market.

The first method of free advertising is to write articles and E-Books then submit them to article banks and E-Book repositories for other website owners or E-zine publishers to download and use for free. Articles should never be longer than 300 to 400 words and EBooks don’t need to be longer that 10 to 12 pages.

When you submit an article or an E-Book, you need to include a resource box that includes your name and a link to your website. A link to your website should be on every page of an E-Book. Articles and E-Books need to have attention getting titles that contain key words and the articles and E-Books themselves need to be key-word rich.

The second method of free advertising is to join and post to blogs and forums that are dedicated to topics which relate to the products and services that you sell. Be aware that posting to blogs and forums takes time... and a lot of it. You will probably spend at least one hour per day posting to three or four blogs or forums.

This is, however, time that is well spent. Your signature tag that will be included at the bottom of every post you make should contain your name and a link to your website.

This accomplishes three important things: (1) it is advertising for you, (2) it is building credibility for you, and (3) it is adding links for search engine spiders to count, thereby, raising your PageRank in the search engines.

Link exchanges with other Internet businesses who sell products or services that are complimentary to but not identical to the products and services that you sell can be a very effective way in which to advertise, as well.

Link exchange partners should have a PageRank at least as high as yours and preferably higher. You can find link exchange partners in several ways. You can go to link exchange websites and find them there or you can simply plug key words into a search engine and locate them yourself.
