Leads won’t always just appear and land on your lap you have to work for some of those leads. One of the best ways to generate leads and hype is through webinars. If for example you are an expert on a niche topic like Korean BBQ you can offer free webinars on how to cook it. For people to sign up they need to fill in a form with the information you need so that you can market products to them later.

Remember that you can actually pitch your product after the workshop. If for example you were showing them how to cook Korean bbq you can pitch your own Korean bbq sauce and show them where they can buy it.

You can also do this by doing live speaking engagements. These days fame in the blogosphere and web communities can translate into real world fame. So if you have an established name online don’t be afraid to give speeches at meetings and even in the city chamber of commerce.

You can gather email leads or even connect with people on social media where you can start marketing your product to them. The best thing about this is that you can approach and target specific groups by finding the right group that fits the specific demographic. For example if you are selling work at home seminars you can give speeches at schools to graduating students.

You are probably asking how this connects to Private Label Rights. Well, once you engage and get these leads it’s the Private Label Rights that will start getting them to know more about your product. You can even initiate a drip campaign where you send them email every week telling them a little more about your product.

Leads are basically the backbone of your marketing. Once you have lots of leads you need to figure out how to convert them into sales. Most companies have an elaborate sales funnel that they design but in reality if you have a compelling story and product you can probably close a good percentage of those leads. Going Viral!

Private Label Rights is not 100% original as some people look at it and say well I’m not the only one who has this. However there is something that you can do, we can use all 15 previous tips to create

What you can hope to happen is to have that material go viral. If that material has a link back to your website you guaranteed insane amounts of traffic. However, there is no guarantee that your product will go viral and there is no exact formula in making it do so. So while it would great for things to go viral it’s not something that you marketing strategy should rely on solely.

Private Label Rights give you the flexibility to do something that normally would be pretty hard to pull off. That is run two different websites with exactly the same. This gives you the chance to run two opposing viewpoints and cater to two different markets for the same niche. Even hosting and the word press platform have made this kind of thing feasible.

Amazon is the world's largest marketplace and you can find products here for almost every niche you can (and can't) imagine.

These are physical products that are shipped to your customer's doors. The advantage to you of promoting something from Amazon is that they a global brand that is trusted and recognized by millions and millions of people across the world.

Amazon love people promoting their products and they try to make it as easy as possible for you to do so. When you find a product you will see some information about it:

Here you can see the rating given to the product by the people who have bought it and how many likes there are. These give you an idea of just how popular the product is. The more reviews and likes, the better selling the product is.

The star rating is also very important as it is an indicator of how good a product is. Some products can sell well and have a low star rating whereas others can sell few and have a high star rating. This shows you what people who bought the product thought of it.

Further down the page you will find more detailed information about the customer reviews. When you are selecting a product from Amazon you want at least 4 stars in the review to make sure it is a top seller. Sometimes it is worth promoting a product with fewer stars, but you do not want to move below 3.

Here you can see more information about the customer reviews and you can even read the reviews. If there are a lot of lower quality reviews then you may want to skip promoting the product because many of these don't sell. People tend to look at the reviews on Amazon before they buy so they are a major influencer for your potential customers.

Amazon provides some further help for you in finding products to promote by providing a list of the best selling products on the site!

Again, these are useful in working out what is popular and what people want.

All of this is good information to help you to find quality products to promote from Amazon.

You also need to think about the amount of commission you will be paid. You start on 4% commission and it increases based on your sales to 6% and higher. This means that on a $100 product you will initially earn $4.

In order to earn a good amount of money you want to focus on the more expensive products. This is a popular approach but a lot of people do this. You can make some good money from focusing on lower priced products that have a high sales volume. Sure you can sell one $100 product, but you could sell ten $10 products instead.

One thing to remember with Amazon is that the majority of the products you sell will be ones that you are not actually promoting! People come to Amazon from one website and put many other products in to their carts.

You will find as many as 70-75% of the products you sell will be ones you aren't directly promoting! This is good for you because it means more money in your pocket. It is one of the big advantages of Amazon and why many people love working as an Amazon associate.

One thing ... certain countries and states in the USA are not eligible to join the Amazon associate program. If this is you then you need to look at alternatives. A good one is Google's Affiliate network or Commission Junction. Both of these are good sources of physical products to promote from a wide variety of supplies and pays good commission.

Finding Profitable Keywords

When you have found a product to promote then you have to determine what keywords to target in order to make a profit. This is very important because the keywords are what your target market type in to the search engines in order to find your website.

If a keyword has too high a level of competition then you are going to struggle to get ranking for it and get free organic search engine traffic. If it doesn't have enough searches per month then you will not get enough visitors to make your site profitable enough.

The Google external keyword tool (found here') is a great free tool to find good quality keywords. There are many other tools on the market, but most of them pull their data from here. The difference is the user interface, the price and how they present the data.

To start with you need an idea of what keywords people type in to the search engines to find sites like yours. Google are very helpful here, because if you go to Google.com and type in your main keyword, e.g. dog training you get some suggestions on what other people have been typing in:

dog tra dog training dog training classes dog training courses dog training collars Press Enter to search

This gives you a good idea of what people are looking for based on your keyword. You can then take these suggestions and feed them into the Google keyword tool.

If you type in a few of your main keywords here then you will get a much better idea of what terms people are typing in to the search engines for your niche. Remember that you can use these keywords on your website and optimize pages around them.

Next you head over to the Google keyword tool. In the top right hand corner is a sign in link - you should sign in as you get up to 800 keyword

results, more data on each keyword plus the annoying captcha is removed.

All you do is type in your keyword (or keywords) in the box where it says Find keywords as shown below. You can ignore the other to boxes here as for what we are doing they are not relevant.

How Do I Water A Container Garden?

Watering a container garden is vital if you want your plants to survive, so it is important that you think about access to your containers and how far they are from your water source. If they are too far then carrying the water becomes a burden and you may end up finding excuses not to water your plants.

Your plants will need watering whenever they become dry and you can check this by pushing your finger in to the soil up to the second knuckle. If it feels dry at your finger tip then it needs watering. If it feels wet then do not water it.

Do not think that just because it rains your containers do not need watering. Because there is a limited soil area in a container and much of this is covered by plants you will be surprised how little rain actually gets in to a container! This means that even in the rain you will need to go out and water your containers.

Plants prefer watering in the morning which is when they are sucking up water to prepare for their growth during the day. However, if this is not possible then feel free to water them in the evening as they will not complain too much.

Just be very careful that you water at the roots of the plant, directly on to the soil rather than on the leaves. This prevents the water from running off the plants and completely missing the roots of your plants. It will also prevent many of the diseases and problems that plants have.

If you water the leaves in the morning then the water droplets on the leaves can act like magnifying glasses and magnify the rays of the sun so that the leaves get burnt and damaged. If you water them in the evening then you risk introducing mildew or other fungal diseases because the leaves do not get chance to dry out well enough.

You will want to water your plants daily during the growing season if they need it and whilst you do, check the plants for any pests or diseases too.

What About Fertilizing My Containers?

If you have used the soil mix that was mentioned earlier in this report then you will not need to fertilize your containers at all in the first year. If you have not then you are likely to have to start fertilizing them when the fruit appears.

A liquid feed is best as it easy to apply and goes straight to the roots where it is needed. You can get specific feeds for specific plants, i.e. a tomato food. It is best to use this where you can as it gives the plants the exact balance of nutrients that they need to promote healthy growth. If you use a fertilizer high in nitrogen with tomato plants then they will concentrate on producing leaves and not fruit. Therefore you need to use the right type of food for your plants.

Follow the directions on the fertilizer for how to best use it with your vegetable plants. You will want to feed them once every week or two, depending on how greedy the plants are. A pumpkin will need a lot more food than something like a radish or beet.

How Can I Minimize The Risk Of Pests?

Pests are a big problem for any gardener and hopefully you will avoid many of the problems that come from growing directly in soil. When you water your plants, give them a quick visual inspection and check for pests and other problems.

You may encounter aphids, which gather on the tender tips of your plants and the new growth. If you catch these early enough then you can pick them off by hand and crush them between your fingers. If they have taken hold then you are probably going to have to use a spray to get rid of them. Use organic if you can as this is going to be much better for the environment. Always check the label though and make sure that the spray is suitable for edible crops. If it does not explicitly state this then avoid the spray as it could introduce potential toxins in to your vegetables and so in to your body.

Slugs and snails are other problematical pests that you are likely to encounter and these can be tricky to get rid of. There are lots of gimmicks that supposedly deter them but sadly none of them are particularly effective. Your best bet is to go out at dusk and pick them off your plants by hand and destroy them. Do not think that throwing them over the wall will deter them; they will be back! Therefore you have to destroy them to stop them destroying your crop. During the day time, check around your pots for their slimy trails; you may find them hiding underneath or behind your pots during the day!

There are other pests that can affect particular plants though just look out for any problems, holes, discoloration and the like on your vegetables. If you do spot anything then look in to it carefully and see what is causing it. It is better to take action sooner rather than later as you are more likely to be able to save your crop.

What About Diseases In Container Gardens?

Diseases tend to be less of a problem in containers because you are using a clean soil. Many of the common plant diseases are found in the soil and by not growing in the ground you can avoid these problems.

Some diseases are air born and you can find diseases such as potato or tomato blight affecting your plants where it has blown in. This can be noticed by the leaves and stems starting to turn brown and curl up. If you notice the blight then you need to treat it immediately in order to prevent it from taking hold and killing your plants. If it is late enough in the season then you can cut the foliage off potatoes and the potatoes themselves will be okay under the ground. You can remove fruit from tomato plants and ripen it on a windowsill though the fruit can still be affected.

Tip #7: Use The Hollywood System To Your Advantage

You’ve done the job at getting a reader to click on your email. Now it’s time to harness the power of the Hollywood System to your advantage: Creating a compelling build up!

You never want your email messages to be boring, stale or long-winded. Instead, you want to keep it exciting and fresh. You can do this in two parts: 1) Maintain your subscriber’s interest and 2) Build excitement and energy.

You maintain their interest by staying focused and on topic. Deliver clear value and be very direct in what it is that you are offering (the “Why” of your email as we mentioned earlier). Never lose focus, but don’t reveal everything at once. Give them just enough in your opener to stay glued to the message.

Then, build momentum. Explain the key benefits of your offer, show them how it will change their life or help them in some way. Address concerns, reveal truths, exploit weaknesses in other products and take them on an exciting journey from your greeting to your last call to action. It’s all about the buildup!

The Hollywood System is especially important when using email campaigns to promote an upcoming product launch.

This is where you reveal the product in parts - bite-sized information that is strung out over a period of time.

Many email marketers (including us!) use this strategy even before the product is actually finished and ready for market in order to gain insight, feedback and build anticipation while gauging interest levels.

Tip #8: Avoid The Spam Filters

Being successful in email marketing requires knowing exactly howto dance around the many spam filters, triggers and blacklists that are waiting to snatch up your email and deliver it to the black abyss.

Research has revealed that 1 out of every 6 marketing-based emails end up blocked by a spam filter.

Here are a few ways to avoid being blocked or filtered:

Avoid Marketing Lingo

Make sure that your entire email message is structured in a way that lends value and credibility to your brand and doesn’t sound ‘salesy’.

“Hey everyone! This is your chance to win a free...” will only guarantee a quick trip to the spam folder. Make sure that your email messages sound genuine and personable.

Build Well-Managed Lists

Don’t ever purchase bulk lists of email addresses. You’ll risk your credibility and ruin your reputation. Instead, build lists of double-opt ins, which are people who have directly requested to be on your list and have confirmed their interest by clicking on a verification email. Also, make sure that you give people an easy way to unsubscribe from your lists in the event they wish to do so. Keep your lists clean.

Avoid Keyword Triggers

Make sure that your emails don’t get flagged as spam by avoiding the overuse of exclamation marks, percentages and common marketing terms such as “free”, “limited time”, "special offer” and “buy now”. Also avoid using currency symbols whenever possible.

Note: It’s also important to pay attention to your text-to-link ratio. Make sure that your email contains adequate content and that your links are limited.

BEWARE: Don’t try to get around keywords by using asterisks or hash tags (Example: Download Your F-R*E.E G*rFT!) - you won’t fool the spam filters for long!

Consider Domains Carefully

When sending from a domain based email address keep in mind that the reputation of your domain (as well as the history) plays a significant role in whether your email gets through or not. This includes the email addresses that you use in your “From” field.

Build a positive reputation by only sending relevant, high quality emails and when purchasing a domain name from a merchant, make sure that it isn’t blocked or blacklisted.

Getting Into The Minds Of Your Buyers

If you want to increase your sales, you have to get into the minds of your buyers, and understand how and why they think the way they do. The more information you can gather and analyze - through using sites like Alexa to track the competition and Heat Maps to track the information on your own website - the easier it will be to create products that are guaranteed to sell.

If you’ve been creating products based on what you think your audience wants, you’ve been going about it in the wrong way. It’s all about finding a need your audience already has, and figuring out how to fill that need.

That’s why you should never begin creating products until you know your audience. You can get to know them in various ways - by exploring the market, finding out what they like and dislike about similar products in your market, evaluating the competition, researching demand and finally, discovering a unique angle that you can take, in order to ensure that your products stand-out in the market!

Tracking Results

Of course there comes a time when you have to think about launching a product and seeing where it takes you. For this you’ll need a dedicated website and a sales page that is designed to bring in as many buyers as possible.

This is where a service like CrazyEgg’s heatmap comes in extremely handy. Let’s imagine you write your sales page and put it up there for people to find. Once you start getting traffic to it you can use the likes of Google Analytics to see which phrases are bringing people to the site and how long they are staying there before they leave - or go through to buy your product, as the case may be.

But the Heat Map will show you how your links are performing, what pages are more popular than others as well as what areas of your website could use improvement in order to boost conversion rates.

Heat Maps won’t only show you which links, graphics and pages are receiving more exposure, clicks or visits, but it can also help you determine how colors, headlines, sub headlines and other sales page elements are affecting sales.

For example, let’s say you’ve used two different colors for two different buy now buttons. One color may be outperforming the other one, but unless you know which one is doing this you won’t be able to capitalize on it and change the color of the other buttons as well. A Heat Map will highlight which button is outperforming the other, making it easy for you to change!

You shouldn’t underestimate the power of testing and tracking when it comes to launching any new product. It can be the difference between a successful product and an absolute loss.

A/B Split Testing

It’s worth mentioning the process of A/B testing here. You may also have heard this referred to as split testing. We made a brief mention of this above when we talked about having two different colored buy now buttons.

The idea is you change just one element on two landing pages, whether it is a headline, bullet point, color scheme, layout or perhaps even just button or link placement.

For example you might have a newsletter you want to send out to your 2,000 strong email list. So you send 1,000 people the standard newsletter with one subject line, while the other 1,000 people get exactly the same newsletter with a different subject line.

Apart from the subject lines everything else is exactly the same.

By running an A/B split test campaign you can see which subject line drew the most attention, which one garnered a higher number of open-rates and which one ultimately out-performed the other.

The same test can be conducted to evaluate two different headlines, sub-headlines, greetings and even website designs.

Test your ideas. Test your audience. Find out what makes them tick - and then test whether they react more strongly to one element in your sales funnel than another.

The great thing is, some of this knowledge you’ll learn as you go along can be applied to more than one product launch. As you get to know your target audience, you’ll start to understand them better. You’ll instinctively know whether one product is likely to out-sell another. You’ll have far more hits than misses, and you’ll ultimately, sell more than you ever have before.
