It’s important if you want to be a successful published author that you deliver something to your audience that they already want. The next thing that you must concern yourself with is organizing your book properly. Once you do those things, publishing on Kindle is a piece of cake.
What Should Your Book Be About?
If you know your audience, researching topics won’t be hard. One way to research topics is to go straight to your audience and ask them what they want to know. Almost any “How to” or informative idea can be turned into a book.
- Researching Topics – Ask your audience what they need to know. Ask them what their burning questions are. Any question that they have can be made into a book. If you have yet to build your own audience, you can also use your competition’s audience to conduct this same research by participating in discussion groups, attending webinars, and even by reading their emails that they send to their audience. You can find ideas everywhere.
- Picking the Right Topic – Once you’ve conducted your research, determine what’s most important for your audience to know based on whether you want to start with beginner information or advanced. If you start with beginner information, you’ll have a lot more to work with for more books down the line. The best way to choose is to find out where most of your audience happens to be in their learning process.
Write down a list of questions from your audience or your competitor’s audience. Figure out where most of your audience is in their process, and start with a book at that level, about a topic that people are asking about often. It may take a couple weeks watching what your audience says in groups and polling them to find out what they really want to know more about. But, once you find your topic it’s important to get to the important part: writing. After all, if you don’t write the book, you can’t publish it.
Organizing Your Book
Writing your book well takes some extra time up front but if you do these things before you start writing, you won’t have to worry about it while you’re writing, and it will be easier on you after you’re done writing, enabling you to get published even faster.
Outlines
While there are writers who claim that outlines are a waste of time the fact is, in most cases outlines will make your book better. Making an outline doesn’t have to be hard. It’s simply a matter of writing main headings with sub-points underneath until you cover everything you want to cover. It will help if you also write a summary of what you want to cover in each heading so that you don’t leave anything out.
Formatting Your Book
The great thing about writing a Kindle book is that the setup is not that difficult because you actually use less formatting than you probably do when you publish a blog post or if you were going to make your book into a PDF file. This is the down and dirty way to format your Kindle book using MS Word.
1) Save your document in .Doc or .Docx Format.
2) If your book has tables use either an image file or use Insert Tables.
3) Use the default MS Word settings other than special fonts, headers, footers, page numbers and so forth. In fact, don’t use anything special. Make your document as plain as possible.
4) Do use MS Word styles such as normal paragraph, headings, and title settings so that you can insert a table of contents after everything is done as a table of contents is required.
5) Insert page breaks when you want to go to a new page, especially at the end of a chapter, or else it will appear on the same page. If you want a blank page inserted, use the new page but state that the page is blank.
6) To insert images properly use JPG and use “insert” with only center alignment. Never copy an image from another source and paste it into your document. Images can be in color and will be shown in color on other devices outside of the regular Kindle, such as Kindle Fire.
You must have a table of contents, choose justified alignment, include page breaks after a chapter is done, follow the rules about the dimensions of images and resolution. Do not use tabs for indenting - use hard indents and put your book in the best format depending on your book. If you have a picture or graphic book, use .mobi, if you have a very text-based book without anything fancy, it’s fine to upload a Word document in either .doc or .docx format.

What is Heartburn?
Heartburn occurs when the acid in your stomach starts to irritate the esophagus. You might experience the burning in your chest, throat, or upper abdomen area. Some people experience the pain in one location, while others have it throughout this entire general area. Heartburn can be acute, where it is only from eating or drinking certain things. However, some people experience chronic heartburn, where it keeps continuing.
How is it Different From Acid Reflux?
Heartburn is often confused with acid reflux, but these are two different conditions with different causes and different side effects. You can have them both simultaneously, or just one of them at a time. With acid reflux, the burning sensation actually comes from acid coming back up from your stomach to your esophagus. This causes a burning in your throat area, often stinging more than with heartburn.
Acid reflux itself can cause heartburn, but it can also lead to a sore throat, cough, and a sour or bitter taste in your mouth. Some of these remedies may help with acid reflux, but they are mostly reserved for heartburn only.
What Causes Heartburn?
It is typically caused by things like pressure in the stomach from constipation or pregnancy, from eating too many citrus foods, or from sleep or various medications. If you are getting chronic heartburn, where it keeps continuing to return and you can’t get a handle on it, then just choosing these natural remedies may not be enough.
In that case, it is better to start keeping a journal of when you experience heartburn so you can see if there is a pattern. You should be able to tell if it is from a medical condition like GERD or acid reflux, if you are eating something that causes it, or if it might be from the medications you are taking.
Luckily, many of the remedies for heartburn are completely natural and healthy for you. They range from taking certain herbs to eating or drinking remedies that are good for reducing the pain associated with heartburn. Here are some of the top remedies that will put a stop to the heartburn.
1. Apple Cider Vinegar
This is a popular option for people who tend to get chronic heartburn. What you want to do when you have heartburn regularly is try to balance out your pH levels. You need to lower the acidic levels in your stomach in order to stop the burning, which is what you can do with apple cider vinegar. While this is a type of acid, it actually helps to improve that pH level and hopefully make you feel a little bit better.
You still want some acid in your stomach, but it should be a pH level of about 2-3, not over 5 which is common with people who have regular bouts of heartburn.
Make sure if you decide to use apple cider vinegar, you get it unfiltered so that you have extra probiotics in it as well. You can dilute it with some water and drink a full glass of it. Let it sit for several minutes to wait to see if it helps. Repeat the process if needed. For chronic heartburn, you might want to drink this before every meal that is going to contain acidic ingredients.
You can also try other foods or beverages that contain apple cider vinegar, like adding to a natural juice you have made. Apples are also good with heartburn, so you might make your own apple juice and add some of the apple cider vinegar in there as well.
2. Baking Soda
For more of the severe cases of heartburn, baking soda is usually a good option. The baking soda is going to help soak up some of that acid and help to neutralize the extra acid causing heartburn in your esophagus or stomach.
Baking soda is safe for the majority of people to ingest, and just about everyone has it in their home. However, it might be a good idea to consult your doctor if you have chronic heartburn or if you are thinking of trying baking soda mixed with water. It may be a little harsh for some people, depending on how sensitive you are to such things.
It might not taste great, but definitely give it a try if other remedies aren’t working or this is all you have access to. What you want to do is add just a half teaspoon of baking soda to about ¼ glass of water. Stir it to combine and then drink the water. Like the apple cider vinegar, you can repeat this if you need to.

Brief Introduction to Conception

Or, in other words: Fertilization.
Basically, for human beings such as us, fertilization is the union of an egg and a sperm. As you can well expect, the females provide the eggs, and the males provide the sperm, and the union takes place within the female womb.
And yes, sex is precisely the process by which the sperm is inserted into the female body, before it journey’s to the womb and causes conception.
Although all of this is fairly basic stuff, you might have guessed by now that there is really a lot more to conception than just this. After all, if it was just a question of having sex, then there’d be no issue at all.
In fact, there are several issues involved with this process.
Firstly, any ejaculated sperm need to actually make it to the womb, and not all will most of the time. But far more importantly, even once sperm do make it that far, there actually needs to be an egg there for fertilization to occur.
That is one of the key prerequisites for any pregnancy to occur: A woman needs to actually be at a stage of her menstrual cycle where an egg has been released and is ready for fertilization. Otherwise, it simply cannot happen.
On top of that, at certain points, the chances of fertilization are vastly increased, meaning that your chances of getting pregnant would be best at certain times.
Further to this, there are other factors to. For example, even once a woman is ovulation, and sperm does get where they should be, that does not necessarily mean that fertilization is going to occur.
Sometimes, for a variety of reasons, it does not. Without getting too medical, it would be best if you think of it this way: For some reasons, the sperm might not be able to get into the egg in order to form the ‘union’ that it needs to.
End of the day, you now have a rough enough idea of what conception entails.
By this point, you probably even have pinpointed at least one of the topics that is going to form a big portion of what this guide is about. Yes, that’s right: Finding out when the best point in time for fertilization to occur.

But the negative mental attitude side is just as powerful. Rather than happiness and success, it may draw in despair and defeat. Like all power, the talisman is unsafe if we don't utilize it the right way.
But how do you go about putting positive mental attitude to work in your life instead of negative mental attitude? Some individuals seem to utilize this power instinctively. Some learn by relating and absorbing what they read in inspirational magazines and books.
A few individuals use positive mental attitude for a while but when they get a setback, they lose faith in it. They start out right, but a few "foul breaks" cause them to flip the talisman wrong-side-up. They never realize that success is maintained by those who continue trying with positive mental attitude.
A few individuals seem to use positive mental attitude pretty much all the time. Other people start and then quit. But other people — the huge majority of us — have never truly begun to utilize the fantastic powers available to us.
What about us? May we learn to utilize positive mental attitude, as we've learned other skills?
The answer, based on years of experience, is a definite yes.

Too many people are trying to be something they're not, and this grinds them down. Too many of us try to pretend to be somebody that we're not. Maybe we're trying to impress people. Maybe we're trying to fool ourselves into thinking that we are completely different people.
The sad part? Too many of us are not aware that this is happening. It's just something that happens on autopilot. They keep pushing forward, but ultimately, it still doesn't measure up.
Regardless of how hard they try, and regardless of how much effort they put in, they simply aren't happy, nor are they fulfilled. There's always something missing. They feel incomplete, flawed and weak.
Of course, this happens deep down inside. And oftentimes, they can't quite put their finger on it. They feel that something is missing, that something is off, but they fail to see the 800-pound elephant in the room.
Similarly, too many people suffer from impostor syndrome. Regardless of the fact they actually know what they're doing and that they are quite competent in certain areas of their life, they still feel that they are giant frauds. They feel that they are in danger of somehow being found out.
They feel this because they are under the impression that they must be perfect all the time. They feel that they must impress people all the time.
What is the root cause of all of this? The idea of perfection. People might not be able to articulate this belief, but they definitely think and act like it.
You don't necessarily have to know the concept or the proper name of what you're going through for you to go through some sort of process or suffer certain symptoms. Regardless, people are trapped living with this idea of perfection.
Pro tip: you don't have to be perfect because no one is.
The truth is, you can't be at your best at all times. That's just not going to happen. You can't be all things to all people, nor can you have it all.
Unfortunately, too many people think they have to be perfect because they expect themselves to be perfect. They are assuming that people expect them to be perfect, so they expect themselves to be perfect, and this creates a downward spiral.
Also, too many of us think that this striving for perfection or the appearance of perfection are genuine sources of pride.
Other people hang on to the emotional albatross of perfectionism because they think others are relying on them to be perfect. They think that other people cannot move on or live full lives until and unless they are perfect.
This training teaches you how to get out of the long shadow of wanting to be perfect. Instead, it teaches you to achieve peace within by accepting yourself fully – flaws and all.
The French enlightenment philosopher Jean Jacques Rousseau famously said that "Man was born free, but everywhere he is in chains." Of course, Rousseau meant this in political terms, but this is also true in spiritual and emotional terms.
Most of the time, we hold the key to the mental prisons that we live in. We define the world in neat, tidy little boxes that spell out what we can and cannot do, who we can and cannot be, and where we can and cannot go.
Almost all of this is arbitrary, but they are all too real because we make them real by believing in them.
We were born free, but we refuse to turn the lock of the mental prison that we choose to be in. And much of this situation can be tied to 8 mindsets that work to hold us back and drag us down.
Oftentimes, we're unaware that we have these mindsets. Still, the sooner you get out from under the influence of these, the sooner you will live a life of adventure, meaning, fulfillment and, paradoxically enough, control.
See if you can identify any of the following mindsets. Letting go of them prepares you to live life to your fullest potential.
You Have to Always Be In Control
The first mindset that crushes personal contentment is the very idea that you must always be in control of all areas of your life.
Now, it doesn't take much human experience to figure out just how wrong this is. You've heard of Murphy's Law: the worst things happen at the worst time. You probably also know that life is what happens when you have other plans.
Life has its own agenda. It spins on its own axis, regardless of our best laid plans. And unfortunately, the more we choose to believe that we have to be always in control, the less likely we will be happy.
