Running The Mile MRR Ebook

Introductory

Distance running is already becoming a popular form of exercise. However, there are a few very important things that have to be considered before one decides to join in on all the fun.

Running, like any other exercise, has to be approved by a doctor first. Those who have a personal physician may consult their doctors on the kind of exercise regimen they’re suited to before starting one. One must be checked out thoroughly.

This is to ensure that the exercise will not aggravate existing heart conditions. For those who think they are fit and healthy, it does not hurt to actually make sure that is the case. Feeling fit and knowing you actually are fit are not exactly the same. Remember the three men who died of heart attacks last 2007 while competing in different running races?

One of them in particular, Mike Banner, was said to have been unaware that he had a very rare heart condition. This caused his arteries to get clogged during the race, leading to a fatal the heart attack. Another one, Ryan Shay, died at 28 while running the U.S. men’s marathon Olympic Trials had an enlarged heart.

However, he knew about his condition and used it to his advantage. Unfortunately, this advantage was what ultimately turned on him and led to his early death.

These are simply a few of the examples. Measures have also been taken to remind runners to drink while running. A substantial number of runners, however, are not really keen on guzzling down water while on the run. And who can blame them? After all, it breaks the concentration. Running The Mile
And when in a race to the finish line, drinking water may not exactly be the first thought that most athletes find themselves entertaining.

However, information from the USATF states that a person must take his/ her weight before and after a workout and the resulting difference between the two is that person’s “sweat rate.” Since the standard practice is to drink sixteen ounces of fluid for each pound one has lost, knowing one’s sweat rate allows a person to determine it to a per hour or perhaps a per mile or whichever rate that one wishes to suit personal needs and preferences.

This way, athletes can also avoid succumbing to hypotremia, a condition that is basically the exact opposite of suffering from dehydrated. Meaning, one is overhydrated. This happens when athletes, after a long race without drink or fluid, fiercely guzzle down water. It is an extremely bad habit.

The body, specifically the kidney, is not made to withstand the consumption of huge volumes of water at just one time. There has to be intervals. Otherwise, water intoxication happens or what is commonly termed by doctors as hypotremia.

This is why it is important to start an exercise regimen that is recommended by a doctor. It makes sense to seek the medical opinion of a physician before doing anything that involves one’s body. One may not know that by unhealthy practices, one may already be putting one’s health—and life—at risk.

One must then make sure a taking on an exercise like distance running is accompanied by medical check-ups. That way, one is sure to be healthy and fit. After all, it is not enough that one feels healthy. One must know it too.

Chapter 1: Getting Set for Distance Running

Training is an essential part of every athlete’s life. It dictates how he will perform on the grand stage of the sporting event he has chosen.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a ball player or a budding swimmer you have to pay your dues in training in order for your body to be readily equipped when the game proper is on. Distance running is an event that has been sweeping the globe in years. Many people have to come to love its events. Let’s take a look at how you can shoot your way into getting set for distance running.

There are lots of things to consider when distance running is on the table. Aside for getting a trustworthy pair of running shoes, you should have your very own running log. You can place all the vital stats here as you monitor your progress and look for signs of improvement.

The log sheet consists of daily time or distance, weight, your morning pulse, more importantly subjective records regarding your run. Your comments are very important because it can give you an idea of how you felt after or even before the run. The log is most helpful in terms of providing you with information that you can tap into when you start feeling some sort of pain. You can also figure out what’s wrong with your training so as to shift into better methods.

Moving on, you have to think about your joints. Save them for the real thing. It’s not good that you get them strained way before you get into the real action of distance running. Although you have to prepare your body for the long distance to come in the running proper, you have to do this preparation without compromising your lower back and feet as well as your knees, ankles, and hips.

Most Common Ezine Publishing Mistakes PLR Ebook

Sample Content Preview

Introduction

Publishing an Ezine is a lucrative business. More and more people are jumping on the Ezine publishing band wagon. Anyone can get an autoresponder and compile their own newsletters and e-courses to their subscribers at the cost of pennies. It is no surprise that Ezines are the choice of medium for list building and selling ad spaces.

However, there are a lot of mistakes made by newbies. Mistakes such as unsolicited e-mailing and not focusing on their core business are common mistakes committed daily. These must be addressed so that the profits are not wasted.

Therefore, I’ve written this guide on how to overcome these common mistakes.

Sending Ezines from their Yahoo! or Gmail

Part of the temptation for newbies is to collect a group of e-mails and start mailing out from their own personal e-mails.

At first this may seem quite harmless when you have about 10-20 people in your list, but once your subscriber count exceeds 50 people, you are going to have a very big problem on your hand.

Firstly, you will have to handle people who newly sign up on your list manually. People who wish to unsubscribe needs to be manually removed as well – causing you massive administration problems.

The worst thing is most Internet service providers refuse to let you send bulk e-mails to many people at once. Of course, they set their own limits so that spammers won’t prey on the unsuspecting through their networks.

If you are not careful, you might even lose your subscriber list as well because your entire list sits within your computer’s hard drive. If you do not backup your computer You might wind up losing hundreds or thousands of subscribers that you spent all those time and sleepless nights building them.

Don’t be a fool – make sure you get a good and reliable autoresponder to handle all the work for you.

Signing up people without getting them to opt-in

One of the biggest newbie mistakes when it comes to Ezines is signing up on other mailing lists without their permission. You think just because they are on one of my list, it automatically gives me permission to sign them up on some other list.

Trust me – Unsolicited signups is a big no-no on the Net, and will get you in deep trouble! In the worst cast scenarios, you will be accused of spamming and you will get your IP blacklisted on the ISPs.

You must do things the proper way. When you want to build your list or invite people to subscribe, make sure you mail them a proper invitation form (or landing page) and when they manually opt in again, then you will have their permission. Bear in mind that you must once again ‘convince’ them why they should opt-in to your new list and never ever take any shortcuts.

Not giving good or useful content

Some publishers are so obsessed with getting traffic and selling things that all they ever do in their Ezines is sell products and talk all about themselves. Use their Ezines to boast about how great they are and how good their JV partners are doing to the point that they bore their subscribers to death.

Another common problem is that the Ezine publishers load their Ezines with so many ads that it disrupts the reading pleasure of their readers.

How would you like it if you were to buy the latest computer gadget magazine (if you are a guy) or the latest beauty magazine (for women) and dig through a haystack just to find the CONTENT page? I am sure you will either have a very hard time looking for the page number or you would cancel your subscription.

Content is king. Never diverge from that. But even more important than that – relevant content for your subscribers should be the main deal.

What you must do for your subscribers is to provide useful content roughly 80% of your Ezine and leave the rest for paid ads. It is a healthy balance.
Not focusing on their business.

On the other side of the coin, there are many publishers who talk about everything under the sun by serving up powerful and useful content for their readers but they forget about the most important thing – making MONEY.

Ultimately, publishing an Ezine is about making money. You can’t do it without promoting yourself or your business. In any business, remember that branding is the most important and you have to create that awareness in your Ezine while providing good content at the same time.

Learn to use strategically placed affiliate links so that your prospects don’t feel as though they are being ‘sold to’. Talk about them first, then talk about a solution for them and then finally talk about YOUR solution for them. End everything with a call to action. That way, you will not be wasting traffic from your subscribers.

Publishing whenever they feel like it

Do you know that you should keep in touch with your subscribers as regularly as possible?

There are millions of people on the Internet. If you don’t keep in touch with them, they will most likely forget all about you and your Ezine. Don’t ever let this happen to your business! It is easier to keep an existing customer or subscriber compared to getting a brand new one!

Publishing regularly suggests to your readers that you are an organized and you are able to meet deadlines and commitments.

You must learn to set aside some time for your publishing schedule. A way to accomplish this is to construct something like an E-course in advance. Then publish them everyday or every three days. Use this time to work on another product or come up with content for your Ezine.

Even if you don’t have any special content for your subscribers, try and stay in touch with them as regularly as possible. Even a simple “Hi” followed by a link to another person’s site (preferably an affiliate program) will also do the job just fine!

Neglecting the older archived issues

Part and parcel of the process of Ezine publishing is that you move from one issue to another. As you progress on, you will find that you have many back issues in your hard drive and sometimes, people tend to neglect the past issues as something outdated or useless.

Unless your information is completely obsolete, there are many things you can do with a back issue. You can offer your archived issue as a sample issue to prospective subscribers on your website or your blog.

People do read older issues and follow your journey. You'll be able to get more of your visitors that are on the "fence" to join your Ezine, giving you a bigger list to market your products to.

Not only that, you will also attract a lot of new people looking to buy advertising space because they can check out your archived issues and check out how your ads worked out until now.

Mastering The Plan Mechanics PLR Ebook

Not Just About Arrows and Circles

Dear Network Marketer,

In this explosive guide to Network Marketing, you will learn all about:

- The 5 common types of plans out there to equip yourself thoroughly in your network marketing career
- The common questions that people ask about plans and how to give answers with confidence, especially when challenged by your prospects and downlines
- Recognize that marketing plans are not just about arrows and circles or numbers and percentages but rather an integral part in network building
- Proper strategic placement for your downlines to help you build a solid and stable network as well as double or triple your income
- Win over networkers from other companies to join YOU!

My goal is this: I want you to profit as much as possible from the information in this book. And if what I write here can save you time and money (on training), I would have done my job.

Ponder for a moment: If the knowledge here would equip you well enough to close that ONE BIG SALE (or finding your next superstar downline) would you be overjoyed? Similarly, wouldn’t it would be a great shame, if you didn’t know better, and at that time, you lacked the confidence to sponsor that same person due to lack of knowledge? Words cannot describe the feeling of loss if that were to happen to me.

Don’t leave home without this knowledge! And the best thing is, if you know all this stuff better than me, then PASS THEM TO YOUR DOWNLINES! You cannot lose!

Let’s go! Its time to break a leg! (Or sponsor a new one?)

Know Yourself, Know Your ‘Enemy’

This was quoted by a famous war general. How does it apply here?

Just as no two people can truly be the same, it is very rare that plans in two different companies can be designed exactly the same arrow by arrow. Let me establish some facts first.

If you were given a choice, would you rather sponsor someone who doesn’t know network marketing or someone familiar with network marketing?

The reason most people would choose the second option is simple, you don’t need to spend so much time training them and they would bring results well on their own.
Now where would I find these types of people? Of course, in other network marketing companies!

But it is not that simple to get those guys over. In life, however, there are no guarantees. You will never know when circumstances will change, when that person might have fallout with his upline or his company might collapse and they might just be hunting for THAT one new opportunity to bring their people to. Timing is important!

Now, some networkers might not agree with me that people might join a new company because of a superior plan. They say it is because of the leadership, influence or confidence that the upline projects. Now I don’t disagree with them. But consider this, how can you be confident, influential or a good leader without thorough knowledge of the plans in the industry? And, if the prospect happens to be obsessed with marketing plans, saying the right word at the right time would nab you a sale!

Now that we have set the record straight, knowing your plan and their plan well will bring you one step to closing a new sale or sponsoring a new distributor from another company.

You may think pinching other people from other companies might be unethical, but this is a dog eat dog world we live in. Given the chance, I believe ‘they’ would love to pinch your downlines as well. (DO NOT attempt this WITHIN your company as line pinching in the same company can often lead to termination of your distributorship) I am not running a course on ethics here; it is up to you to decide what is best for your business. But my belief is this: if I believe my company offers a better product and opportunity to earn income, I would recruit other networkers. Competition is good for companies anyway.

Equally important also, I don’t want to lose my downlines to other networkers as well. Of course, if they decide to leave for whatever reasons, I won’t hold them back because it is THEIR business, not mine. But I want to make sure they don’t get pulled over because of my incompetence as a leader and lose my source of income as a result. This usually occurs when the upline leader is ineffective and deserves to lose his downlines to other networkers because they never trained them well enough in the first place.

Now that we are clear about knowing our own plan and all the other plans ‘out there’, I strongly encourage you to go to as many opportunity meetings as possible to learn all about them (just make sure you don’t get pulled over or your upline will kill you ?)

Using the Knowledge Effectively

Each plan will be explained in a few sub-headings.

(1) Plan Structure

There is a diagram associated with each plan. This will explain how the commissions are paid out, as well as the typical network building strategies. I will also illustrate typically what type of companies use this kind of plan structure.

(2) Advantages

Plan advantages are very crucial to build a long term business. If you haven’t decided which network marketing company to join, or you are thinking of moving to another company (for whatever reasons), this information will give you a very good idea how to build your downline, especially if you are moving your entire network to another company.

(3) Disadvantages

Not all plans are created equal. There will always be aspects where some plans excel where others don’t. Furthermore, as mentioned in the chapter above, you know where the weak points of other network marketing plans lie and you can use them to your advantage.

(4) Placement Strategies

Placement of your downline is crucial. Most of the time, this strategy also applies to companies which allow you to have multiple accounts (usually husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend, or brothers and sisters.)

NOTE: All plans illustrated here are presented in the rawest form and for you to understand and dissect the basic concepts. The information here is designed to guide only, not as a law. There are many hybrids and variations available in the market today. What I write here is the basic, fundamental structure of where most plans derive their ideas from. Check with your upline or company to be 100% PRECISE about your company’s plan.

Unilevel: Unlimited Width and Depth

The Unilevel plan is one of the oldest types of plans in the market. It basically allows you to sponsor as many people as you want at your level. According to the diagram, there are six people on your ‘frontline’ and more can be sponsored as you like. Your downlines can also sponsor as deep as they want until infinity levels with no restrictions.

PART I: LEVERAGE

Group Leverage

Like a long pole, that can shift a great weight with little effort; such is the case with succeeding in business.

Your chances of succeeding- as an 'army of one' fall somewhere between zip, zilch and nill.

Social Marketing [i.e. Joint Venture Marketing] is the critical key to enjoying on-going success. There are approximate 100,000,000+ Web sites out there...and growing daily.

Without some good old' fashion Joint Venture Networking skills under your belt; you chances of *not* getting noticed are virtually guaranteed! Though there are many different types of leverage, two- in particular- will be explored in this segment:

Joint Venture Marketing Leverage

All but gone [certainly rare, to say the least] are the days when you could merely just e-mail an Ezine Publisher with a copy of your offerings and a 50% profit-share.

You've got to captivate your potential Joint Venture Partners with a more strategic, longer-range heap of killer benefits, as well. Prove to them that you are extremely sensitive to *their* overall wants, needs and desires- not yours or mine.

Good take time to cultivate...It's all about building trust.

When a Strategic Joint Venture Alliances List Master recognizes you as a genuine Expert within your niche, and that you just don't recommend anything that you- yourself- are not absolutely delighted with as the end-consumer...

They will be far more enthusiastic about JV'ing with you in the future, because people like to do business with people they know and trust...

- Are you someone who is trustworthy and whole-heartedly worth getting to know?

- Does your JV Proposal showcase *them* in the 'limelight'?

- Is your focus on assisting them, in every way within your means, to help them grow their business and become even more successful?

If not- You need to seriously reconsider your marketing priorities...before you 'figure it out' the hard way!

That said...nothing can propel you to [seemingly] overnight success like a well-thought-out and deftly-crafted JV- Nothing.

Every single truly successful marketer realized- at some point within their career- that in order to get to where their truly trying to be; they have to wholeheartedly and cheerfully assist others in doing the same.

This is especially true when making first contact with a good potential Partner...remember; it is you going to them, for something you want- Not the other way around.

Until you've cultivate your own Master List of 20,000, 50,000, even 100,000 Loyal Readers; and you are now the one getting slammed with 10 to 20 per day, on average...

To create successful, mutually beneficial JV's; you must pole-position your wants, needs and desires in such a way as to naturally resonate with/compliment theirs.

Often times, this is *much* easier said than done; as good JV Proposals require a fair and reasonable amount of selfless and candid receptiveness, attention to detail and deep meditation.

However...the dividends are supremely worth it!

Traffic Leverage

Short of having a 'bottomless wallet'...you will quickly realize, early in your online success endeavors; exactly just how difficult it is to drive consistent, quality traffic to your Web site.

Virtually all of the 'marketing gurus' trying to sell you how you, too, can quickly and easily make boatloads of cash online, with no out of pocket expenses; are feeding you a fat, stinky pile o' bull. Run...Fast!

And hide your wallet!!!

Furthermore, they straight-up buy their traffic, one way or another; until such point as they have established a monster downline of resellers [one of your primary goals, actually].

Introductory

When you are first starting out with investing in houses, you should always look for ugly or bad houses that need a lot of work.

These homes are much cheaper to purchase, although they will take some work to improve. You should start out by looking for houses that need some work, such as clean up, painting, and in some cases new carpet. You don’t want to buy something too run down, as it could cost a fortune to repair.

If you think of yourself as a handyman and feel that you can do the repairs yourself, you can save a lot of money. On the other hand, if you need to hire someone, you should always make sure that the individual or company that you hire is qualified to do the repairs.

If you aren’t comfortable with doing any of the repairs, you should inquire about a subcontractor or company that will do it for a reasonable price, or perhaps a share of the money once you have resold the house.

If the house you are thinking to purchase and resell has any type of structural problems, you should always get an estimate from a reliable contractor before you make the purchase. If you decide to stay in the business, you’ll learn a lot more over the years, although you should always hire a contractor when you first start out. Once you get all of the estimates together, you can make that final decision on how much of an offer you want to put down on the property.

After you have a team together and successfully renovated and resold several homes, you’ll begin to feel quite a bit more confident with buying homes that need repairs. All it takes is time and practice - and you’ll be buying homes that the average investor wouldn’t think twice about.

This can be a huge advantage when you are looking for homes to buy and resell, as there will be less competition to worry about. You’ll also be able to get a lower price when buying the home, simply because you can use the cost of the repairs to your advantage.

Once you are able to do repairs on homes, including structural problems, you’ll have a huge advantage in the market. You’ll be able to buy virtually any home, including those that other investors choose to ignore. Doing so can be very profitable for you, especially if the house is in a well-known and well desired neighborhood. After you have done the repairs, you can resell the home for a much higher price than you paid to acquire the home.

When you start looking for houses that you can repair and resale, you should always take your time and buy the right homes. You won’t have the money, time, experience, or support to buy the bigger houses at first, which means you won’t have any room for mistakes.

Once you have purchased and resold a few smaller homes, you’ll eventually be able to work your way up to the bigger homes - which is where the big profits will come into play.

Always keep in mind that when you first start out, you’ll need to take things slow. You can expect profits to come overnight, as it will take you some time to learn. Once you have been at it a few years and have several houses to your credit, you’ll be ready to tackle anything. At that point - you’ll make a lot of money in a career that is truly exciting.

Chapter 1: Are You Committed to Your Real Estate Investment?

There are many questions that should be asked before embarking upon a career of real estate investment.

The first and foremost question however should be whether or not you are truly committed to making real estate work for you. This is not a business for the faint of heart. In order to truly turn a profit, you must be at times ruthless when dealing with buyers and sellers but ethical to a fault when it comes to the work that must often be done in order to get a property in sellable condition.

The reason a serious commitment is needed in order to make real estate work for you is simple. There will be ups and downs along the way. The stock market experiences rise and falls on a regular basis. Just as you cannot dump all of your stock over one bad day the same holds true even more so in the realm of real estate investing. Property values in general rise gradually over time. This means that even if the values in a community falter chances are that they will eventually recover.

Those who bank on the slow and steady growth in the value are referred to as buy and hold investors. These investors are truly committed to their investment. Some of them elect to hold the property as a vacation property while others opt to earn an income on the property by renting it out to other families or vacationers, whatever their choice may be.

This is a great way for many people to enjoy the luxury of a vacation property without absorbing all of the expenses involved in owning a vacation property as the rentals will help compensate some of the costs when the owners (investors) are not in residence.

A Business Just Like Any Other

What is the purpose of starting a business? To make profit.

Most businesses spend more money than they make that’s why they go belly up.

So why should network marketing be any different?

The common belief is that network marketing is a business that appreciates in value over time. In other words, if I have a group of 100 to 1,000 people under me buying the product and recruiting more, I’d be getting richer and richer! But we all know that.

It is not the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It’s SURVIVING the first 6 months to 2 years!

It is common that most network marketers in a new industry typically go through a 6 months trial and error period, therefore, it is crucial to ensure that during those 6 training months, you manage your cash wisely so you can learn and make money at the same time.

Just like in normal business, most of them fail within their first 2 years of operation and struggle to make profit even if they do survive. The key to survival is CASH FLOW.

In other words, it can be summed up in this equation:

Cash today, downline tomorrow.

People in network marketing usually run out of cash flow normally after 3 months and they quit because they spend more as they build. But by breaking even as fast as possible, it gives tremendous mental strength to the distributor and he or she is less likely to drop out.

First, we must understand the mindset which is the most important starting point in getting by the first 3 months.

Social Media Plan MRR Ebook

Introduction

In 2006, Facebook expanded its already highly successful network of college students to include work networks. A year later, Twitter came onto the scene as a new marketing tool for businesses to better interact with their customers. When Facebook bought out Instagram in 2012, the number of users on Instagram more than doubled and currently has more than 300 million active users.

Over the last decade, social media has evolved drastically. Every day, more businesses are creating their profiles, and even more potential customers are also creating their profiles. Social media is no longer a novel concept for businesses but rather a necessity for building a reputation and brand awareness.

Online digital marketing has numerous advantages for businesses. First, the information travels fast, and it is very cost effective. Also, there are no geographical boundaries, and everyone can use it. When a new social media platform is introduced, there tends to be a mad dash to secure a business username and gain new followers.

Then many businesses seek advice on how to grow their followers and convert potential customers after the fact. Unfortunately, this often fails. To be successful on social media, a business needs to be sure that they have a solid understanding of their brand. It takes much more than a simple business website to succeed in today's digital age.

Social media has become a tool for establishing your brand. Consumers are connected 24/7, and social media is how you can keep up. How many times have you heard a friend or family member say that they heard about a new product or found a cool article on a social media site?

When it comes to social media, you need to view it as a golden opportunity to drive traffic back to your website and convert potential customers. Businesses can easily create noise for consumers, but with a robust social media brand, you can stand out and use social media to reach your business goals.

It is essential that you spend your time on the social media platforms that best represent your brand. If you don't have an established brand, this guide will help you understand the importance of building a brand portfolio. Before you venture off into uncharted social media waters, you need to understand what your business is and who you are trying to reach.

You might want to consider taking some time to watch from a distance and make some observations regarding how other companies are using the platforms and engaging with their customers. You need to develop a solid understanding of the demographics of each of the different social platforms and the kind of conversations taking place. Many businesses fail at harnessing the power of social media because they lack planning and branding. If you can understand who you are, establishing yourself on social media will feel less daunting.

As a business, you don't need to get your name on every social media site. Social media isn't a one size fits all solution. You need to decide which platforms will best help your company reach its goals. Particular social media platforms are more suitable for displaying your artistic skills, while others can introduce you to the software communities.

Once you determine the perfect platform and the right audience, you need to figure out a way to strengthen these relationships to satisfy the customer in a way that they become your marketers by spreading a good word about your brand.

Chapter 1 – Utilizing Facebook

Facebook is one of the most complex social networking sites for business because they are always changing the algorithms, which can make it challenging to reach your targeted audience.

Facebook offers both profiles and business pages. Profiles allow you to add friends and are a two-way connection to other members of the site. When Facebook business pages, users ‘like’ the pages, which allow businesses to push content out to the users who ‘like’ them.

Unlike profiles, business pages are public, which means anyone can follow a link to see everything that has been posted on the page. With a business page, you can also set up paid advertising for both Facebook and Instagram.

For single-man operations, like media personalities and authors, a Facebook profile may be enough. However, for most companies, you should be creating a business page. It is essential that you link your business page to your personal profile. The advantage of using both your own profile and business page is that you can utilize your friends' list form your personal profile on your business page.

With profiles, you can tag friends in business posts, invite them to events, and ask them to ‘like' your page, while you also monitor conversations. Understanding your audience based on the content they post is not available with your business page, which is why you should have your personal profile linked.

The best way to grow your network with Facebook is to connect with the professional contacts on your personal profile. Be sure to add any media contacts, collaborators, other people in your industry, and potential clients. You might also be able to find potential friends in various Facebook groups or in the comments of other Facebook pages.

What is Emotional Intelligence?

The phrase "emotional intelligence" can actually be traced back to a paper published by Michael Beldoch in 1964. However, it became very popular in the United States and elsewhere, especially among management circles, in 1995. In that year, the journalist Daniel Goleman published a book of the same name.

The initial public perception of the concept of emotional intelligence is that it is a mix of Trait and Ability impacting social leadership or interpersonal relationships. More specifically, it can be broken down into four key parts: perceiving emotions, using emotions to our benefit, understanding other people's emotions, and managing our own.

Put in these terms, emotional intelligence seems pretty straightforward. However, it has very important components that we need to seriously examine instead of just automatically assume.

This is the big danger of emotional intelligence. Since we get along with other people and have some level of experience as far as social interactions are concerned, it's too easy to gloss over the intricacies and fine details of this skill. That's precisely what emotional intelligence is. It is a skill.

Some people have higher levels of natural emotional intelligence, especially empathy, but it is still a skill. You need to fine tune it and polish it for your initial level of emotional intelligence to help you live up to your fullest potential.

The key components I mentioned above can be actually be broken down into four key areas: awareness, understanding, control and empathy.

Emotional Awareness

Emotional intelligence, at the very least, enables you to be aware of other people's emotions. This means you are able to correctly identify the range of emotions that they are feeling. This is what makes other people's emotions very tricky because we're not confronted or faced with black and white situations.

When you look at somebody, you can't just say that that person's angry. Usually, the person has a range of emotions. Maybe you're looking at somebody, and they're feeling apprehensive, a little fearful, and quite shocked. Other people would have a different mix of emotions.

People who have high emotional intelligence don't gloss over or dismiss these secondary or tertiary emotions. Correct emotional identification often boils down to getting a clear understanding of the mix of emotions somebody is feeling.

It's so much easier and simpler to just say that a person is shocked and call it a day. Unfortunately, you're not really fully understanding that person if you don't bother to look at other emotions that may be at play.

Another key component of emotional awareness is your own ability to be emotionally honest with yourself. In other words, you have to be able to read your own emotions, and this has to be a complete and honest objective assessment.

In other words, you can't just assume that since you're subjectively feeling a certain way, then that is the absolute truth. On a purely subjective basis, that is absolutely correct. After all, if you're feeling angry or upset, you have every right to feel that way. You obviously should know yourself enough to clearly label what you're feeling at any given time.

The problem here is, your emotions don't exist in a vacuum. Other people looking in from the outside must be able to clearly read you as well. There's a problem when there's a disconnect between the objective reading of your emotions and your own labeling of your emotions.

It's not unusual for people to feel really angry, but other people would think that they're just disappointed, let down or inconvenienced. Eventually, this disconnect can actually cause serious problems.

Finally, increased emotional awareness leads to the ability to function without emotional denial. In other words, when you feel some strong emotion, you can easily own up to it. You're not making excuses for it, nor are you trying to pass it off as something else.

Emotional Understanding

In addition to understanding other people's emotions as well as your own emotions and clearly identifying them, emotional intelligence also involves deep emotional analysis.

When somebody feels emotionally upset, it is not just something that they feel at a given point in time and in a certain place. It has an impact. It can tie back to something that happened before, or it can cause consequences that will resonate in the future.

People with high EI understand this. This is why they are just as concerned about future impact and consequences as they are with root causes of why people feel the way they do. This analysis also applies to their own emotional states.

Emotional Control

This is where things get real. In the previous two parts of emotional intelligence, it's very easy to just look at it as some sort of intellectual exercise. It's very easy to file this information in the category "something nice to know" and leave it at that. But if you are able to control your emotions, you are able to ultimately control your destiny.

The sad reality is that the vast majority of people actually act out of impulse. Now, most people are not going to admit this to your face. Most people would come up with all sorts of rational sounding explanations why they made the kind of decision they made. Don't believe them.

In a recent study, scientists discovered that a large percentage of people's decisions were made purely out of impulse. However, when asked to explain those decisions, the subjects came up with all sorts of rational sounding reasons.

Chapter 1: Affiliate Marketing and Blogging

Affiliate marketing is one way in which bloggers utilize their blog to generate revenue.

The amount of revenue generated by a blog featuring affiliate marketing links may vary significantly depending on the amount of traffic the blog receives as well as the compensation offered for the affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing essentially entails creating a link on the blog to another company’s website. The other company then compensates the blog owner according to a previously agreed upon contract.

This compensation may be awarded in a number of different ways. The blog owner may be compensated each time the advertisement is served, each time a unique website visitor clicks through the advertisement or each time a blog visitor performs a desired action such as making a purchase or registering with the website.

This chapter will discuss some aspects of affiliate marketing which bloggers should understand including selecting opportunities carefully, maximizing the income potential for these opportunities and understanding the requirements associated with these affiliate marketing opportunities.

Selecting Affiliate Marketing Opportunities

There is a wide variety of affiliate marketing opportunities available. Many different companies and websites offer affiliate marketing opportunities. In most cases the blog owner simply needs to submit the website address of his blog along with some other basic information for approval. In most cases the company is not likely to reject the application unless the content of the website is deemed to be objectionable or otherwise in conflict of interest with the company’s goals.

However, although getting approved to display affiliate links on your website is a rather simple process, this does not mean blog owners should select these affiliate marketing opportunities without discretion. It is a far better idea to carefully select affiliate marketing opportunities with companies who are of interest to the target audience of the blog.
