Introduction

Make no mistake, turning a profit online is different from earning an active income. Your active income is your 9 to 5 job. You engage in earning an active income when you trade your time for money.

If you don't show up for your job every day you won't get paid. If you don't show up on time repeatedly, the chances of keeping your job dip to the “slim to none” level. That's how active income works.

Making an active income is like being a chicken; if you've ever seen a chicken eat, you probably notice that it scratches the ground, looks for a morsel, and then pecks. It scratches then eats. If it stops scratching it doesn’t eat. The logic and the events are straightforward and simple.

This same straightforward and simple concept applies to the typical 9 to 5 workweek job – no work equals no pay. This is the repeated concept of trading time for money.

Time is the biggest factor here. Within any block of time you produce work. You produce some sort of outcome. This is a totally different dynamic when compares to earning a passive income.

When it comes to making money online active income is completely different. Fundamentally, you simply don’t trade your time for money. If you earn money online, you earn it wherever you are.

What if I told you there are many people earning six figures incomes year after year, jumping from city to city and country to country? If you need proof of this, look up Brian Dean. Brian used to live in Asia, now he's living in Europe, and he’s lived all points in between.

And the best part to all of this is that as you earn your income you also begin to broaden your horizons and grow personally by discovering the soul-uplifting value that travel affords. You're able to travel if you make money online. You can't do that with an active income because you need to be physically present at your job site.

It’s Not As Easy As It Looks

Additionally, you can't make money on autopilot if you are choosing to make a “traditional”, active income. That's just not going to happen. You have to show up. If you don't show up, you don't earn money for that day. This isn’t so when you begin making money online.

Online passive income systems can be set up so that they are always generating money. For example, when people show up at your website, they have the option of purchasing merchandise which earns you money without the hassle or fuss of paying a cashier or the time it would take you to ring up a purchase yourself. In this way, simply saving money is equivalent to earning money.

Making money online enables you to scale your income higher over a shorter period. One way in which you can easily scale up both your income and your business is by engaging in automation. This passive income technique is not available to people who earn an active income.

What is the Solution?

How do you escape the strategic disadvantage of earning active income? The answer is simple! Make money online through affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing refers to the practice of selling others’ products or services through your own websites, online properties and domains, or your online traffic generation. Affiliate marketing is no more and no less than that!

When you design your affiliate marketing strategy you can then automate it and scale it. This means that you can set up thousands of websites, each making a dollar a day, and you can still make a decent income at the end of the month, or you can build one website making tens of thousands of dollars every single month. The beauty is that it is your choice.

You can automate so that you don't have to be physically present while your website to closes deals to make money. You can also scale up the number of websites you own or scale up your websites’ offerings so that you make more money with each online property.

A Quick Recap of How Affiliate Marketing Works

Here's a quick recap of affiliate marketing and its basic concepts. It is important to understand affiliate marketing so that you may become successful when using it as a practical part of your online business or service.

You don't have to be a technical expert in the field of affiliate marketing to reap the benefits of it. However, it is essential that you understand of the basic concepts so that you know what to do, when to do it, and why to do it so that you produce the expected outcome. Your aim should be to understand how affiliate marketing works just as you would aim to understand how a hammer works when you are hanging a picture.

So, how exactly does affiliate marketing work? First, it begins with a product seller. A product seller is person who has a product but doesn’t know how to drive traffic to their product or how to convert traffic into actual profit. This person integrates (hyperlinks or banner ads) an affiliate program using a special software. This person's website has a link to an affiliate program that is set up using specialized tracking software.

Alternatively, this person could sign up with an affiliate network. An affiliate network is a special platform where the network owners recruit both product sellers and affiliate publishers.

Affiliate publishers are individuals who sign up with affiliate programs to obtain affiliate links. Then, the affiliate publishers publish varying types of webpages with varying content to drive traffic to those pages. When driven traffic clicks on affiliate links, the affiliate network pays the affiliate publisher a commission.

Similarly, this process can work with an affiliate program set up directly by the product seller. The affiliate either advertises a link that drives traffic to it’s content or uses its own website as a “through-way” to make money via earned commissions.

When a product seller begins using an affiliate network it is important that the network drive traffic to the product seller’s product.

Both the affiliate as well as the product seller should benefit from the partnership. Without an affiliate program, a product seller becomes limited in their ability to drive traffic. Conversely, without product sellers, affiliates have nothing to promote and therefore nothing from which to gain a commission.

The Problem with Affiliate Marketing

Although affiliate marketing does offer many benefits it is not an effective strategy when used alone.

Also, there are four problems with affiliate marketing that you should both be aware of and address when developing your own business or personal marketing strategy.
To begin, many products or courses claim to have a proven formula for making YOU money. Many of these do address affiliate marketing by claiming that the course will coach you as you learn the details of affiliate marketing.

Most of these courses are written by individuals who are paid only to write, but not to research or understand the content about which they are writing. Many of these authors use the copy and paste method to repackage old, outdated, or even incorrect data then resell this same material time and time again.

It is important that the reader of these types of repackaged information and gimmicks be savvy to the ways in which to avoid them! First, the reader should find whether or not the author has a proven sales record, good and unbiased reviews of products or courses, and a thorough personal understanding of any topic about which the author is writing.

A second problem that the affiliate marketing sector faces are “unactionable ideas”. It is common for an affiliate marketer to propose a marketing idea that seems clever, user-friendly, and lucrative but is nothing more than raves and banter about “creating hype” or “pursuing unlimited possibilities”.

Prologue

Dear reader, I would not have believed it if I hadn't done it for myself. You can actually write an ebook without actually doing the writing. Because of an interesting legal twist, you can hire a writer, and then when the writer is finished, you own the complete copyright to the work. If it sounds too good to be true, it almost is!
But there's something else that's almost too good to be true: having an ebook written doesn't cost near what it costs to have a hard cover book written. It's actually pretty affordable for someone who plans to recoup their money with ebook sales.

One more almost-too-good-to-be-true fact: ebooks often sell for the same price that a traditional, hold-it-in-your-hand, book would sell for!

No writing, no problem! o writing, no problem!o writing, no problem!o writing, no problem! o writing, no problem!o writing, no problem!o writing, no problem! o writing, no problem!o writing, no problem! o writing, no problem!o writing, no problem!o writing, no problem!

Let me tell you a little about my story. As the Internet began taking over the world, dollar signs flashed almost constantly in the back of my mind. I did some research to see who was making money from this evolution. I ran across import companies, search engines, web-site-development/hosting companies, and auction sites. That was a year ago. Now, more than ever, the Internet is starting to define business. People are actually paying for and downloading songs for their listening pleasure. People are researching, planning, and booking entire vacations online. People who love information are inhaling the Internet. Information is everywhere.
Of course that presents a bit of a dilemma. Information overload. Part of the problem with researching the Internet is the information you glean during your surfing is highly if not completely unorganized. You do a Google search. You notice there are thousands of pages relevant to your search terms. So, you narrow your search by adding a word or two. Now you're down to several hundred pages. And you start clicking on them, one after the other.

On to the next problem of up-popping popups. Darn those things. By the time you close all the windows, you may have very well forgotten why you sat down at the computer in the first place.

Even on sites without pop ups, you really don't know what exactly you're going to get or whether or not the source is reliable. So, the Internet is like a feast with some of the options being spoiled. Yuck! But the buffet is intriguing, so most of us tend to return to try our luck again and again.

Anyway, all this got me to thinking, what about ebooks? Yeah, sure, you can read Charles Dickens on a computer, but I'm talking about ebooks that teach, in a nonfiction sort of way. If I could put a few good ebooks on the web, then maybe people who wanted to learn about a topic could read an entire book from a reputable source online.

So I tried it. And guess what? At first I didn't have much success. But I dusted myself off, studied, tried again, tried again, and tried again. Eventually, through trial and error mostly, I stumbled on a formula that worked!

This book was born well after all of that, but I think it's high time I share my experience. There's plenty of room on the Internet for everyone. Climb aboard!

People are hungry for information, and people are looking to the Internet to feed their hunger. After you've read this chapter, you will feel confident enough to choose your own topic, or you can literally pull your ebook topic directly from this ebook and use it! How's that for a deal?

Observe what's going on around you

If you're smart enough to read this book, you're smart enough to look around you and determine what interests you and those around you. Think of what problems you've recently solved, and what kinds of problems others have had and solved. Any problem that has been solved in your world could easily be the subject of your next book. People love to read how other have solved a problem that they currently have.

So, brainstorm a list of problems in your life and in the lives of those around you. Your friend Bob lost his job? Your sister's child had chicken pox? How did they cope or find solutions? While you're at it, start another list of unsolved problems evident in your corner of the world. Write down problems you wish you had solved. Aha! These are subjects that people will really be interested in! How to lose the last ten pounds. The truth about UFOs. The straightest path to becoming a millionaire. From your personal corner, your step-granddaughter is pregnant at age 14? Your grocery bill is double what it used to be? Your roof leaks? These are problems waiting for ebook solutions!

These unsolved problems would also be great ebook topics. Remember, you don't have to know the solution, just the topic. You're going to get someone else to do the research and write the book for you. You will not actually be writing one word.

Spend a few minutes Googling

The Internet is a great way to find out what people are looking for at any given moment. You can search for almost anything. Google™ is a popular search engine you can use, or you can try any of the others like Yahoo!® or Mamma.com. Type in phrases like "top concerns of Americans," "best-selling nonfiction topics," or "popular how-to manuals." Common worries of 2005.

And while you're on the Internet...

What is Inner Peace and How Can I Achieve It?

Inner peace is a state of mind. It is a time when your body and mind are quiet and relaxed. Inner peace allows you to have a quietness of mind. To achieve inner peace you must learn to control feelings of trouble from stress and complete exhaustion from what goes on around you every day in the world.

Inner peace allows your body and mind to help keep obstacles out of your way. It allows you to feel serenity even at times when stressful situations arise. Your brain power controls all of the power of your being and if you can control the way you respond to certain situations, you can achieve inner peace.

When inner peace is achieved you will find you are more creative, intuitive and have a quietness of mind that will allow you to achieve more in your life. You have the ability within you right now to achieve inner peace. In this report we will discuss several ways for you to arrive at your own inner peace.

Do you want to inner peace? Of course everyone has a need for it at some time in their life. Do you feel that you have the ability to use your mind to control the way you react to things? The answer is yes, everyone has the ability to use their mind to improve their lives.

In order to start working towards finding your inner peace do the following exercise and see if it helps you get closer.

Achieving Inner Peace Achieving Inner Peace Achieving Inner Peace Achieving Inner Peace Achieving Inner Peace Achieving Inner Peace Achieving Inner Peace Achieving Inner Peace

Do you find yourself suffering from stress or constant tiredness? Are you looking for a way to reach an inner peace that will make your life easier and more comfortable? Inner peace is a state of mind. In order to achieve inner peace, you will need to learn how to control your mind. Inner peace can only be achieved through a quietness of your mind. By learning how to control your mind and tuning in to your inner quietness, you can achieve inner peace.

At first you may be surprised at how difficult it is to just sit quietly, not move and complete tune out all thoughts. This is something that you will need to work on every day for a least a couple of minutes a few times a day until you can achieve at least 5 to 10 minutes of complete quietness of your mind.

In order to start, sit straight up in a comfortable chair and keep your body completely still. This may take several tries in order to achieve this. Start off first by just trying to keep your body completely still. Keep working at it until you can keep your entire body still for five minutes. Once you can do this, then you can move on to trying to keep your mind quiet.

Spend at least seven days once you have learned how to keep your body still sitting in a chair at least twice a day. Once you have achieved seven days of doing this, you can then move on to trying to keep your mind from thinking any thoughts during this time.

This can be challenging as your mind is constantly thinking of thoughts and ideas or about things you need to get done. Start off by sitting in the chair with your body completely still and find one word that you find calming (a one syllable word works best), and repeat it yourself over and over again. This will help to keep all other thoughts out of your mind.

Practice doing this for the next seven days or until you can sit completely still and keep all thoughts out of your mind without having to use your word. This will take a lot of practice, but it will be well worth your time. The time that you spend sitting still and keeping your mind completely clear is a good step towards achieving inner peace. The more you practice that the longer you will be able to do it in one sitting. Your goal would be to do this for at least 15 to 20 minutes at one time.

This is one step toward achieving inner peace. Here are some other things you can work on to gain inner peace and make life calmer and more peaceful.
Another thing that stops many people from achieving inner peace is living in the past. Do you find yourself worrying about past mistakes or errors in judgment? Are you having hard time letting them go or forgiving yourself? Try this exercise and see if it helps relieve some of your worry and stress over past errors that
cannot be changed.

The best way to find inner peace is to let things go. Now I realize that it's easier said than done. However you can work towards controlling your mind to let them go.
Start out by making a list of all the things that you allow yourself to worry about frequently. Write down past mistakes or errors that you have made that still worry you and make you get stressed out.

Next, write each one on a separate piece of paper. Make sure that you list every thing from the past that you cannot change by worrying about in the present. Keep writing until you have all of them listed.

The next step is to take each page and read it and then repeat out loud what it says. Next, say I will no longer allow this to bother me. I do not need this in my life anymore. Worrying about it will not change the fact that it happened. Feeling guilty or stressed constantly about it will not make it go away or make me feel better. I refuse to allow this to remain in my mind causing me anguish.

Now, take this piece of paper and put it in a metal wastebasket and burn it. Say goodbye to the problem and then take the ashes and flush them down the toilet. Repeat to yourself this problem no longer has any bearing on how I feel about myself. I will no longer allow it in my mind.

Do this with every one of the pages that you have put together one at a time until they are all gone. You can do it a few a days or do them all at once. Just be sure to get rid of all the problems that worry you.

If you find yourself reverting back to worrying about any of these problems again, write down whichever one it is and follow the above exercise again. Keep doing this every time it comes up until it no longer is allowed in your mind. It may take a few times for some of the bigger worries, but as long as you stick with it, you will find that you will have fewer worries on your mind.

Chapter 1

What is Twitter?

Today, Twitter is a social website used by absolutely millions of people to send messages to groups and friends every day. It has become one of the hottest social networks on the Internet today with thousand of new people signing up on a daily basis. This new phenomenon, ranks right up there with Facebook and LinkedIn for social contact and social media marketing. Today, companies are using this information to keep their friends, families, and customer base up to date on what is happening in their lives, families, and business ventures.

Twitter has long since considered itself to be one of the top communication systems for exchanging quick little “blurbs” of information with those you wish to keep in touch with. This short and direct communication has become known as “Tweets”, or short form messaging system, that allows a connected individual to share and listen to what is happening to and with the people their surround themselves with.

As Twitter has evolved it has become a communication device that provides many platforms for communication, but mainly communication on Twitter is done through posts, or “tweets”, which are restricted to less than approximately 140 characters in length. Using Twitter, members can keep people updated, as well as follow updates from other members. Today, tweets are used for more than just updates; they are also used to discuss hot topics, videos, music, and events happening in the daily news.

One of the bonus features of Twitter is the ability to “Retweet”. This enables users to share things like tweets, links, and other little gems that they pick up from others who also use Twitter. New users often do not understand the benefit of retweets, but after a little time on Twitter they soon learn the value of retweets and set out to share as much as possible.

To retweet the user has a special set of tools available that make it easier to do. Some of those tools include copy and paste so you can share tweets themselves with others. When users do this, because they are using someone else’s information, the retweet is usually followed by an “RT”, short for retweet, as well as the original creator’s name. So, if you were to retweet the following sentence from “SueSmith”, your retweet would look like this:

The ipod I bought was great and I would recommend it RT@SueSmith

As a rule people track, or follow, the most popular retweets on Twitter by using one of the following methods:

Retweetradar – a tool for tracking and bringing to the forefront the most popular content on Twitter – right now, today, or yesterday.

Retweetlist – this tool lets you track the most popular links that are being retweeted by other users on Twitter. You will note that it also keeps track of the accounts that are retweeted the most.

Tweetnmeme – this is a tool that records and keeps score on the number of retweeted Urls and stories on Twitter and then places the ones that receive the most retweets on the front page of Tweetmeme, which if selected can be broken down into categories – i.e.: business, sports, etc.

Another great thing about Twitter is that all your friends and tweets can appear on your desktop and retweets only take two simple clicks – one to create the retweet and one to post it.

Chapter 2

How to Customize your Twitter Experience

As a Twitter member you will notice that the site has some great user friendly tools that will help in making your experience on Twitter a completely customized one. However there are some steps you should initially take when creating your profile that will further enhance your customized experience.

First to ensure that you get the best possible results on the site, starting by creating your Twitter log in using your real name or company name this makes it easier for people to search for and find you. Also, using your real name makes it easier for fellow tweeters to follow and recognize you or your brand. Including a personal photo or company logo on your profile page is always the best way to give your customized notability.

Your photo should be a good quality one; the picture should be clear, well lighted and you should have a friendly appearance the more approachable you appear the more people will follow you. If you are using a company logo make sure it is professional looking and represents your company’s brand you will want a pleasing image that people will remember and associate with your specific product or service.

Next you should work on customizing the settings on your profile page using the settings tool. Twitter does have built in themes that have predesigned backgrounds that use preset color schemes which is fine if you prefer it but you can also use the theming tools offered on the site to create your own theme and use your own personally designed color schemes.

Another customization tool available is language preference you can customize your profile to appear in your preferred language; there are several global languages to choose from.

You can also change your privacy settings from public where anyone can view your tweets to private where only your followers can share your tweets.

Another way to customize your Twitter page is to share your personal media whether it is photos, videos, music or documents there is a tool available to help share your personal media. Grooveshark seems to be the most popular and user friendly music sharing application. You can tweet about a song you are listening to it.

Feature wise the most popular, free and easy to use file sharing application for sharing documents and videos is FileTwt. If interested you can find out more about this application by visiting https://mashable.com/2009/05/25/filetwt/.

A newer file sharing application available is Twitgram; It is a file sharing application that offers some great features such as : file sending, sending and sharing messages over Twitter in complete privacy, create chat rooms, organize your chats and the 140 character limit for tweets is not an issue with this application. This application however, costs to use. Now you can Twitter using most currently used mobile devices. Now Twitter is a mobile companion for the tweeters.

Freelancing – 21st Century Way of Making a Living

When you think of freelancing, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? You probably think of a writer, novelist or journalist right off hand.

That is primarily because for centuries, the only real job you could have as a freelancer had to do with your mastery of the written word.

But we are not still stuck back in the early nineteen hundreds – no we are in the twenty first century, a time that appreciates freelancers in hundreds of different jobs.

Sure, you have probably heard of freelance photographers too, you may have even met one or two in your life, but what about freelance software designers, freelance medical billing specialists, or even freelance scientific researchers?

There are all jobs that have recently begun to see massive growth in their respective fields because more and more people are realizing that they can make far more money working for themselves as freelancers than they ever could solely from working under the wing of their previous employer.

So it sounds pretty good doesn’t it? You work in some field for quite a few years, get a lot of practical experience in your chosen area of employment and then gradually make the switch from working the nine to five to becoming your own boss as a freelancer.

But is it really as easy as it sounds to become a freelancer and actually make a living doing work on a freelance basis?

We have to keep in mind that there are quite a few freelancers out there who are only doing work part time.

Not because they make a ton of money and only have to work a couple of days per week but because they actually have had some trouble finding work in the past and need a much more solid career option in order to make sure that they do not find themselves facing bankruptcy.

However, such a scenario does not have to happen to you if you are willing to do whatever it takes to become a freelancer. Your career switch may not happen overnight – but eventually you will become highly successful at what you do.

It’s a guarantee.

The first step in making that jump from office work to freelance is to decide whether or not you have what it takes to become a freelancer.

We all want to be our own boss, but do we all have the drive and dedication that it takes to be successful without the watchful eye of our supervisors?

Sadly, we don’t.

Therefore, you have to really sit down and think about what makes you so special in the world of freelancers.

Do you have a large enough skill set to make you stand out amongst the hoards of different people all seeking the same work as you?

Do you have the time management skills necessary to run your own freelancing operation and meet all of the deadlines set upon you by your clients?

If you have even the slightest doubt in your mind about freelancing, then maybe there are other career paths that are better for you in the long run.

Now, provided that you are willing to jump in to your freelancing business with both feet, you need to start off on the freelance path slowly before you can really start raking in the cash.

Don’t quit your job just yet! Instead, you need to begin your hunt for freelance work in your area of expertise on the internet and see what you can come up with.
Some skills, such as the ability to write coherently or do software design for clients of all types, are highly marketable and you should really have no difficulty whatsoever finding a goldmine of work.

On the other hand, if you are only able to do tasks that are not as easily marketable on a freelance basis, you will have much more difficulty finding work for your freelance operation.

Currently some of the most popular fields for freelancing include writing, editing, photography, web and graphic design, software design, and architecture or drafting.
Once you have settled on a field that you want to freelance in, you will need to start finding your first clients. Whatever you do, do not start your hunt with any of the clients that you may have dealt with in your current job.

There are all kinds of laws against this practice and it may get you into serious trouble if you are caught.

Instead, turn to your favorite search engine and search for some forums and databases specifically designed for freelancers seeking work in a particular field.

There are tons of different places for you to visit, so within an hour or so you will probably have at least ten or fifteen bookmarks of places online where you can find employment as a freelancer.

When you find you have some free time, all you have to do is search around on each one of these bookmarked websites to find the freelance positions that sound good to you.

When you start out as a freelancer, you will probably have to take a few jobs that do not pay very well at all. That’s fine because these jobs help you build your skill set.

They will help you learn how to more effectively manage your time, speed up your workflow, and even help you get more used to using a computer and the internet to search for answers to any questions that may pop up while you are doing work for your client.

The low paying jobs will probably last for awhile, as until you have assembled a massive list of satisfied clients you will have to primarily compete with all of the other freelancers in your field entirely on how low your rates and fees are.

Eventually though you will graduate into higher and higher paying jobs until you will find that you have practically doubled your current income with income from freelancing.

At this point you should feel confident enough to possibly start thinking about reducing the number of hours you work at your current job to part time status or even quit your job all together and make your fortunes solely through freelancing in your selected field.

What is Resell Rights and How You Can Build a Profitable Business With It

The Internet has emerged as one of the major ways in which one can make money easily. Though one must always beware of all the spurious sites that crop up from time to time, the Internet if used in a wise manner for earning money can actually prove to be quite an effective tool. This also involves the resale rights of product. This is nothing but a license over the product that you have bought.

This license allows you to modify and improvise the product in any way you want to. Ordinarily, if you want to sell a product you will have to place the description and picture of your product and create a good and impressive sale page for it. However with products that have resale rights, you need not do this. You merely have to buy the product with its resale rights and then place it on your website.

You can do this in either of the two ways mentioned below:

- Purchasing the products as well as the resale rights completely so that you can get total portion of your profit share to yourself
- Selling the rights that you have just purchased to someone else who in turn can resell that product
The following will tell you about what the different kinds of resale rights do:
- Basic Resale Rights: This is the one time resale right, that is to say that the person who buys the product with the basic resale right, cannot in turn sell that product to someone else because that customer loses the resale right on purchasing the product.
- Private Label Rights: This basically gives the owner of the product the right to do anything that he or she wishes to do to the product. They can inscribe their
Resale Rights – The Alternative

name on the product, or make changes to the product. They can keep it with themselves for as long as they want, or sell it for a profit.

Many Internet businesses rely heavily upon such products with a resale right. The ownership of such products not only helps you to start your Internet business in a effective manner but also play a major role in building the Internet business.

Once you have the resale rights to a product, you can do whatever you like with that product. In a certain sense, the destiny of that product (and hence of your Internet business) is in your hands.

There is a lot of flexibly if you own the resale rights to a product. You do not get this kind of flexibility when you purchase ordinary products.

Here are the things that you should know about resale rights and the business related to it:

? Creating a business out of private reselling rights does not require the businessman to create a product each time. Having the resale rights t that product he can actually recreate the product the way he wants. It just means that one has to modify and improvise on the product according to his needs and the kind of demand he gets. This is indeed a very flexible way to do business.

? What the businessman who has acquired the resale rights of the product needs to do is merely place the product on his website with a new and improvised product description. He will not have to go about making the sale page right from the scratch. The basic information about the product has already been given to him. The changes that he makes to the product, he needs to update only that.

? An attractive picture of the product needs to be provided. Either the original image can be used or else another image can be created depending on the businessman’s preference. Make your image of as good a quality as possible in a popular and easily downloadable format. You will not need to have a very flashy picture. But make sure you have something that clearly defines your product and supports the description in text.

Resale Rights – The Alternative

? Create a proper page on which to host the product description and its graphical representation. You need to make this page attractive. Remember that many visitors have come to your site via another site. And therefore, it is all the more important that you make your page especially attractive since there is a tendency of people moving on to another link within 20 seconds. Therefore, if they find anything catchy on your page, they will linger one. Otherwise, they will move one.

Resale Rights – The Alternative

The Types of Resell Rights

While some people know exactly what resell right are, some have a very vague idea about it. There are so many different kinds of resell rights that any marketer will be bewildered at the time of either creating his own product with resale rights or to work with a product which already exists. Even though this is not a very simple topic, we will try to explain this as easily as possible in this article.

The products with resale rights come in a variety of sizes and shapes. There are a large number of products bundled all together and then sold for a very low price. Or else, there is a single product which is sold for a very high price, say a four figure price. Apart from these, there are the several varieties of resale rights already mentioned.

To begin with, there are the simple resale rights. These simply give you the right to sell your product and offer nothing else. This basic resale right will not allow you to claim that the product is your own nor can you give someone else the resale rights for this particular product.

These rights are generally the cheapest rights you can get, and they make it much simpler to get into the black. In a lot of cases, these rights are free, but they usually have a fixed price and terms of sale.

To put it simply, suppose if the product sells for $20, you have to sell it for $20 only, and not at a price higher or lower than $20. When you are buying the rights for a certain product, make sure that you understand it perfectly before you sell it because there are sure to be support questions which you will be faced with.
Master resale rights are somewhat more complex. These rights generally come with the webpage to accompany the product you are dealing with. These rights allow you to not only sell the product but also to pass the reseal rights for this particular product to your customers.

There are two kinds of private label rights. The first kind is one where you are given the resale rights of a products which is already created and you are also allowed to put your own name on the product as the ‘author’ of the product but, the clause here is that you cannot change this product in any way whatsoever.

Resale Rights – The Alternative

All that you are allowed to do by virtue of this right is -sell the product and also put your name on it as long as it is kept completely in the original state without any alterations.

The second kind of private label rights is called the source code rights. This right involves a product which is not finished and ready for sale. It is the raw source code which you can use to create the finished product. It will be in source code format if it is a program such as an ad blaster.

If you want to create an informational product, for example an eBook, then it will come in a word processor format such as Microsoft Word. You can change this product in any way that you wish to, including making it a product which will grant resale rights of any of the kinds already mentioned.

These rights are generally associated with software and allow you to change the source code that comes with the product so that you can alter the software to suit your own requirements or to remove any bugs in the product before you sell it in your target market.

Rebranding rights are those which deal with products which are similar to the ones described above but they are more restrictive because you can frequently rebrand only certain links, to include your own associate links for example, and cannot alter the main content in any way.

Royalty rights are usually associated with physical products and even though you are allowed to resell the product, you cannot keep 100% of the profit a you shall have to pay the original author a commission or a certain percentage of the profits per sale. This article was a simple summary of the various kinds of resale rights which are available but there is one final point of importance. You have to remember that every product is different in some way and will come with its own resale rights. You should always make sure that you read the License Agreement well, so that you understand what you can and cannot do with the product.

Tenderfoot Education in Real Estate Investing 101

Back in the days of the wild, Wild West, when easterners traveled across this vast country looking for opportunity in the newly opened territories, they were often referred to as a ‘tenderfoot’.

This wasn’t a complimentary term but it was a rather apt one. The easterners wore ‘city’ shoes that weren’t designed to withstand the rigors of the western terrain. Their hats didn’t have wide brims to protect them from the sun and their clothing wasn’t made of tough material like denim.

These new westerners didn’t know how to take care of themselves and because they didn’t know where and what the dangers were they didn’t have any idea how to avoid them. If you are just beginning to consider the idea of investing in real estate you are a tenderfoot and you do need some instruction to avoid losing your shirt…and probably your pants, hat and boots, as well.

First you will need to determine what your strategy will be in real estate investing. Do you want to buy a property, fix it up and sell it quickly or do you want to buy a property, hold it and wait for the market to increase? Do you want to deal with renters? All of these questions are ones that you need to answer before you invest in any piece of real estate.

You will need to learn how to investigate the value of properties yourself. It isn’t fair to use the time of a real estate agent and have them show you property after property while you try to look for a good real estate investment.

There are several online sites that are helpful in determining the real value of real estate. DO NOT rely on tax values. They are not reliable and they are not accurate either. You can find a real estate agent that you can work with and you can find recommendations for such agents online.

After you have learned how to determine property values yourself and have chosen a real estate agent that you can work with, the next thing that you need is a good broker that you can also work with. Ask your real estate agent for the names of three mortgage brokers.

Then you will need to find out what interest rates and closing costs each one charges. (Check out your local bank or credit union as well). Take copies of your three credit reports and choose a sample property for each broker to run hard numbers on.

Now you are ready to actually make your first investment. You want to choose the lowest price house in the best possible neighborhood to put a contract on.
Let's say the cheapest two-bedroom house in the best neighborhood in Fort Wayne costs $100,000 and the next cheapest, comparable home is listed for $140,000. If you buy the home that is priced at $100,000, you can raise your price to $130,000 the next day and make a dandy little profit.

Now let’s talk about closing the deal. First show the seller your pre-qualification letter from your lender. Then get the required inspections for termites and get your appraisal. Once you have all of your ‘ducks in a row’ so to speak, it takes about 30 days to make the final close.

A note here about any renovations or repairs that you might want to make to the property: Before you close, you might want to think about a Purchase and Renovate loan. A Purchase and Renovate loan wraps the cost of construction up in the loan so you don’t have many out-of-pocket expenses. This may require an estimate from a general contractor and plans from an architect as well.

Okay, now let’s go back to the first thing that you needed to do and that was to determine your strategy. Now is the time for you to execute that strategy that you have used to invest in this real estate. If you bought it with the strategy of flipping it when the market went up then you just simply wait.

If you bought it with the strategy of renovating and then selling then it is time to start your renovations. On the other hand, if you bought it with the strategy of renting it, it is time to start looking for tenants.

You see, the point of having a strategy for profiting from the purchase of any piece of real estate must be your first decision because everything that comes after that is dependent upon it.

Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate? Why Invest in Urban Real Estate?

Most investors are not interested in investing in urban real estate. This means that there is a wide open opportunity for those who ARE interested in investing in urban real estate. You will likely hear umpteen reasons why you should NOT invest in urban real estate so let me give you a few good reasons why you SHOULD invest in urban real estate.

First let’s discuss the pricing of urban real estate. If you keep your ‘ear to the ground’ so to speak you can find some real hidden gems in the urban real estate market. Not every low price is a good deal, of course, and just like with every real estate investment that you ever make, you should be certain that you do your homework.

Really great deals turn up in every real estate market for one reason or another. Don’t miss those terrific investment opportunities simply because the property is in an urban area.

Then there are the Section 8 tenants to be considered. Here is an obvious advantage to investing in urban properties. Government subsidized housing is a 21st century reality and under Section 8 the government pays a full 80% of the monthly rent. These renters are often referred to as ‘Section 8 tenants’. There is, of course, always a waiting list of potential renters and they all want to move into YOUR urban investment property.

That adds up to a very nice and sure monthly income for you. Renters don’t always pay their rent but the government does send checks on time and in full thus eliminating much of the rent collection hassle.

Let’s not overlook the fix and flip opportunity afforded by urban real estate investments. Okay, let’s face it. Today’s real estate market could be better….a lot better…but just because the over-all market doesn’t seem to be all that healthy at the moment that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some great fix and flip opportunities out there and particularly in the urban areas. The trick to making a profit on an urban property is to sell with incentives included and, if it is a rental property, with a tenant already in residence.

Begin Now to Be More Assertive

Many people confuse being assertive with being aggressive. This is simply not the same. In order to understand the difference, here are the definitions as described in the dictionary. You will be learning how to assert yourself so that other people will not deny you of your rights.

Assert: to state with assurance, confidence, or force; state strongly or positively; affirm. Insist on having one's opinions and rights recognized. Assert oneself: to insist on one's rights, declare one's views forcefully, etc. Aggressive: ready to attack or oppose; quarrelsome.

As you can see there is a difference. By being assertive, you are only looking out for your own rights. You do not want to trample on other people's rights; you just want to make sure yours are not trampled on.

So what exactly are the differences between assertiveness and aggressiveness? When you are assertive you ask people openly and directly for what you want. An assertive person shows confidence and reassurance when they make a request. Although you will be asking for your own wants and preferences, you always do it making sure that you respect other people’s rights. You do not expect anyone to be able to read your mind. You are direct and open in expressing yourself.

Being aggressive means you will try to get what you want by whatever means it takes even if it causes bad feelings in others. An aggressive person may use manipulation, negative persuasion, threats and even resort to begging. An aggressive person does not think about the other person's feelings only what they want. An aggressive person does not want to look at both sides only their own and will use whatever means they can to get what they want.

You may get what you want in the short term by being aggressive, but you will become known as a bad person or bully by using this behavior. When you become known as an aggressive person, people will want to avoid you or will immediately become defensive every time you ask them for anything. And assertive person is able to motivate and direct other people to respect their rights. By being assertive you are only clearly stating what you want in order to have your rights met. As an assertive person you are able to give direction to what you want in a positive, confident, but firm statement. In order to develop an assertive personality you will need to you learn how to make your requests known by using good eye contact, good body language and a firm confident voice. You should never try to belittle the other person or make them feel inferior or you will immediately turn them to the defensive side. Make sure to keep a good stance and keep your heads down to your side. Talk in a calm voice and make your feelings clear. If you use assertiveness correctly you will win friends and supporters as people will realize that you stand up for yourself and others.

There are many courses, videos and audios available that can help you on your way to becoming more assertive. You can also learn how to be assertive in many situations by taking an Assertiveness Course.

Build Your Confidence to Become More Assertive In order to be assertive you will need to develop confidence in yourself. It is easier if you try to take this one step at a time. Let's start off by just doing one small step and work from there.

Here is an example of a simple starting point for standing up for your rights… Let's say that your spouse never picks up after themselves. You may say to them, honey, would you please pick up your socks off the floor? Now for some people this might work and they will pick up their socks. Unfortunately there are some people who will just blow you off when you ask them a simple request like this. If you live with one of those people, you will need to take another approach.

One way to get them to pick up their socks is to make a confident statement, like; I am no longer going to pick up your socks off the floor everyday. If you do not pick up your socks and put them in the laundry they will sit there and every day more will pile up. You will have to live with the fact that your dirty socks are all in a pile and if you do not have clean socks to put on in the morning, you will need to either wash them or go without.

You could also tell them if they will not pick up their socks and you have to pick them up they will go in the trash. If they run out of socks that will be their problem and not yours.

We all have dreams. The problem is many of us have gotten into the habit of letting people squash our dreams. If you are serious about the things you want in life, then you need to go after them. You cannot allow other people to control you and keep you from reaching your dreams.

When you are assertive you have control of situations instead of letting other people have control. Take a minute right now to look deep down inside and come up with a list of the things that you want for your life.

Next, write a list of what you need to do in order to make these things happen for you. Tell yourself right now that you are not going to let other people hold you back anymore. Repeat to yourself out loud right now, I am strong and I can achieve my dreams.

From now on if there is something that you want that will help you have the life you want, tell yourself I will speak up for myself, I will be assertive and I will show confidence. I will no longer let anyone put me down or be afraid to have my voice heard.

I will no longer bow down to other people just because they're opinion is different than mine and accept it as my own opinion. I know that I am the only one that can make my goals and dreams come true.

When you have confidence in yourself, than speaking to other people and letting them know your true feelings will come easier. As long as you believe in yourself and let that come out when you speak, people will respect your opinion and listen to you.

You do not have any boundaries as to what you can achieve in life. Never let other people make you feel pressured into doing things that they want if you know that it is not something that you feel good about doing.

When you speak to people with confidence and assertiveness you can persuade them to see your point of view. Once you get people to listen to your views and understand how you feel about certain things your confidence will grow.

There is nothing wrong with giving yourself the chance to build your confidence and achieve all your lifetime goals. Once you develop the confidence to talk to others and let them know how you feel, you will start to feel great about yourself. Not only will you feel great about yourself but you will start to get along better with others as you gain their respect.

Tell yourself right now, I am not afraid to go out and try new things. Spent some time today and go out and do something you've always wanted to do but were afraid of what other people would think of you if you did it. Now of course I'm not saying go out and do something that is illegal or immoral just something that takes a little more nerve than what you've ever had. When you learn how to stand up for your own rights, you will become more confident. Each day try to do one thing that you want instead of what somebody else wants you to do and you will be amazed at how much better you will start to feel. Once you start building your self-confidence and learn how to be more assertive you will find a new you that will have a much better positive attitude about life.

Many people find listening to hypnosis audios on how to Boost Your Self Confidence helpful. Sometimes listening to hypnosis audios over and over again can be helpful by building your confidence in your subconscious mind. If things are repeated to your subconscious mind enough times it can become a habit to handle everyday situations better. There are many hypnosis audios that can help you in your everyday life situations.

Start Working on Your Positive Attitude

In order to be assertive, it is very important that you have a positive attitude. You must believe in yourself and your abilities to achieve whatever you want to do. Now I realize that sometimes it can be hard to believe in yourself, however, if you take small steps towards believing in yourself you will find it easier all the time. If you can just accomplish one act of assertiveness you will find it much easier to have a positive attitude. Take a minute right now to think of one thing that somebody does quite frequently that you allow to happen even though it stepping on your rights. Now put together a plan of action on how you will not allow this to happen anymore. Right down what you will say to this person the next time they try to do it. Now spend some time in front of the mirror and tell them exactly what you have written down. Look at your face when you are speaking and make sure you are looking yourself in the eye. This is how you want to handle it when you are talking to the other person. Make sure that you are using the proper body language, looking them in the eye and make your statement calmly but firmly. Once you have perfected what you will say to them the next time this situation arises then you are ready to handle it. Just think how great you will feel when you stand up for yourself.

Each time you think of something that someone does to you that you allow, do this exercise again. The more you practice this the more you will begin to see things in a positive light. Each time the situation arises it will get much easier for you to show your assertiveness and be comfortable with any situation that you are in. By being positive and showing people that you will not allow them to walk all over you, you will become more comfortable each time with communicating your desires to other people. You will also become more self-confident and comfortable with yourself.

Once you believe in yourself, it is much easier to get other people to believe in you and your ideas. When you show confidence and a positive attitude when letting people know what you want, they will have more respect for you. In order for you to be assertive you need to be driven, you need to know what it is that you really want out of your life. Take a few minutes right now and write down what you would like to see change in your life in the next 30 days. Take time every day to read this and do what it takes to make sure that these things will happen for you.

In order for you to become more assertive and gain a positive attitude, you need to find the confidence to accept yourself and others for who you are and who they are. When you show confidence in yourself and other people see your confidence and assertiveness, you will build a new respect from others toward you.

Learn How To Say NO!

This little two letter word can be one of the hardest things for some people to say. If you are used to being a people pleaser and you will find it very difficult to learn to use it. You may want to take some time practicing saying it in front of the mirror. I'm sure that you have somebody in your life who is always asking you to do things for them.

In fact if you do, they probably ask you to do the same thing quite frequently. So here's a little exercise to help you get through the next time they ask. Write down on a piece of paper what they will ask you to do. Next come up with a few good responses that will not come off as being rude, to let them know you will no longer be available to do this for them.

Let's say you have a friend who constantly calls you and asks you to pick up their kids from school. They do not call you because they are stuck at work. They call you because they are shopping or out to lunch with friends. You being their friend, find yourself always saying okay, even if you had other plans. So let's write up a scenario for this.

Your friend calls you and asks you to please pick her kids because she is stuck at the mall? You could say, you know I will not be able to do that, as I have plans for this afternoon. You could say, you will need to start picking up your own children as I have things that I need to do myself and do not feel it is fair for you to call me every time you want to go run around and do not take care of your own responsibilities.

Whatever you come up with, practice saying in the mirror until you feel you can say it calmly and confidently to get your point across.

The only thing that comes from always saying yes is people expect you to take care of their problems for them. They do not respect you and most the time did not even appreciate you. Oh, they may always say thank you and you are so wonderful, what would I do without you. But don't let them fool you these are just words to keep you on the string.

Modern Affiliate Marketing MRR Ebook

If you're getting into this training, you should already know how affiliate marketing works.

I'm happy to report that the mechanics of affiliate marketing have not changed. It’s roughly the same as it was when Amazon first launched in the mid-90's and pretty much pioneered the affiliate marketing game.

Today, the same model works. What has changed, however, are strategies that enable you to become a successful affiliate marketer. You have to use modern affiliate marketing strategies.

Strategies change based on changes in traffic sources as well as changes in conversion strategies. This training teaches you critical affiliate marketing strategies involving the following key decisions:

- How to pick the right affiliate programs
- How to create niche-focused conversion systems
- How to drive traffic to your conversion system
- How to fine tune and scale up your system

The videos that follow will step you through these key decisions.

Make no mistake, if you want to succeed with your affiliate marketing business, you have to focus on ROI. If you have a fuzzy idea of what return on investment means, you're playing the game wrong.

Picking the Right Affiliate Program to Promote all Boils Down to ROI

You have to pay attention to two components of ROI. The first component is very obvious. This is return on investment. Put simply, how do you get the most return for every dollar you spend on your business.

Return on effort (ROE) simply means getting as much money from an activity while putting in as little time and effort into it. Put it another way, how do I maximize my income while minimizing my effort? For

every minute I spend on doing something, how do I maximize the amount of dollars coming out of that activity?

Both these factors must be at play. You always have to constantly filter all your affiliate marketing decisions through these principles. Otherwise, you're not going to make much money in this game.

The Answer? Put a Heavy Focus on the Commercial Value of Your Niche

How do you make sure that you're always hitting ROE and ROI targets? Very simple. To maximize your ROI and ROE, you need to pick the right niche first, then pick the right affiliate program.

A lot of people get the order wrong. They often build their whole business around an affiliate program when it turns out that the niche they're targeting is simply too hard, too saturated or too fragmented for them to turn a steady profit.

Follow the steps below and you will be well on your way to maximizing ROI and ROE. Spend less time, make more money.

The Niche Selection Process

Step #1: Identify your personal interests

Off the top of your head, list down all the topics and themes you are personally passionate about.

Ask yourself, "If I wasn't getting paid anything, what would I talk about?" You need to do this because you don't want to hit a point where you lose passion. You can't run on fumes.

Step #2: Use Google's Keyword Planner tool to find the commercial value of keywords related to your niche

Enter your topics into Google AdWords’ Keyword Planner tool. This tool will tell you the average cost per click of keywords related to those topics. Don't pick niches that are very, very expensive, nor should you pick niches that are very, very cheap. Pick something in the middle.

You want to pick a commercially attractive niche to make sure there's enough affiliate programs that cater to that niche. But, you're picking the middle of the road because you don't want extreme competition and saturation on one end, and little to no demand on the other end.

Step #3: Use Google Keyword Planner tool (GKPT) to find search volume

GKPT will tell you the rough monthly search volume for keywords related to your niches. Again, just like with the previous step, pick something in the middle. Not too much traffic, not too little either.

When you pick niches that have very high levels of demand, you might have too much competition. On the other hand, if it doesn't have enough demand, then it may not be worth pursuing because you're not going to make that much money.

Step #4: Use Google Search to find competition level

At this point, enter all the keywords related to niches that remain on your list into Google's main search box. Your searches will return a list of websites targeting the keyword you searched for.

Cross off your list niches that have too much competition. This is comparative so take off the top 20-30% in terms of competition. Avoid targeting saturated niches. You don't want to build a website and put in all that time and effort only to find out that there's too much competition.

Step #5: Check keywords on social media platforms to determine coverage

Enter your remaining niches’ keywords onto social media platforms and look if there are enough Facebook groups, Twitter accounts, hashtags, and other indications of social media interest.

Pick niches that already have a decent amount of interest on social media because you would want to build your website or promote your affiliate links on areas on social media that are dedicated to your niche.

Step #6: Check Google Trends to make sure your niche is stable or growing in demand

This is crucial. You don't want to build your online empire on a niche that is on its way out. Use Google Trends and enter your search terms for your niches.

Do you see the arrow going up or going slightly up over time? Or do you see it flat lining or even dipping downward? If you see a flat line or if you see it decreasing in popularity over time, scratch that niche off your list.

Focus only on niches that are picking up popularity over a longer period of time, you can at least give yourself some market stability.

The first thing that you need to do is to understand different monetization methods. I've already described how an affiliate program works in the introduction of this training. However, different affiliate offers convert in different ways.

Pay Per Click:

The words of your content trigger PPC contextual ad systems to show ads that target those words.

Native ads are not contextual. Instead, they use pictures that look like article thumbnails. When people click on the native ad, you get paid.
Pay Per Sale (PPS):

When somebody clicks on your PPS, which is either tied to text or to graphics, they have to buy something for you to earn a commission.

Pay Per Action (CPA)

Pay per action offers to pay you money when people click on your link to see some sort of form. When they fill out the form, you earn money. Pretty straightforward, right?

CPA involves less ‘friction’ to the user. Oftentimes, people just need to enter their email address for you to make $0.20 to up to a dollar. Not too bad.

Merchandise Affiliate Programs

Merchandise affiliate programs are affiliate programs that sell physical products. When people see ads on your website, you won't get paid when people click the ads. You only get paid a commission when your visitors actually buy products.

How to Select Affiliate Programs

Ask yourself the following factors when picking one particular affiliate program over another.

Is the offer directly or closely related to your niche?

Look at a program’s offers, not necessarily the program itself. There are many programs that actually cater to many different niches. You have to look through their offers to see if there is something that tightly fits your niche.

Is the offer already heavily promoted?

Do a search for the name of the offer or the name of the company. Avoid saturated offers.

How easy is the conversion point of the offer?

Ideally, you should look for an offer that only requires a click for you to get paid. If that's not happening, look for offers that pay you for every email or zip code entered into a form. If that isn't available, then look at offers that pay you per sale at a very high percentage.

How flexible is the program in terms of advertising?

Does the program require you to use their own materials? Or are they okay with you coming up with your own materials? Can you use incentives? You don’t want to rack up tons of commissions only to get banned without getting paid.

Do they offer flexible landing pages?

Does the program allow you to come up with your own landing pages or do they have their own? If they have their own, are there many different versions? Be clear about how the sponsor is going to be converting your traffic.

Why Do So Many Internet Startups Fail Today? Fail Today?

Everyday out there in the real brick and mortar world, millions and millions of people drag themselves from the warm, warm beds, take a shower, grab a cup of coffee, and head off to their jobs as they are thinking that there has got to be an easier way to make a living.

Every one of those millions and millions of people knows somebody who has quit the ‘get-up-and-go-to-work’ grind and is making a very good living by working on their personal computers from the comfort of their own homes.

Working from home sounds like an ideal solution to them. Many of these dissatisfied souls will quit their jobs and plunge head-first into internet marketing with no preparation, no knowledge of what they are doing, no education, and no hope of success. Failure is their only option and they don’t even suspect.

The fact is that according to many sources, more than 90% (Ninety percent) of all Internet business start-ups end in failure within the first 120 (one hundred twenty) days. Yes, you read that right. NINETY PERCENT!

This failure rate should be a warning to those who are considering trying their hand at making a go of working on the Internet rather than at a job in the brick and mortar world.

Of course, success is possible. There IS that other 10% (ten percent) that do succeed. The thing is success doesn’t happen by accident. And success isn’t just a crap shoot. Success happens because of some very important factors.

Success happens because people have the right ideas about internet marketing and how it works. They do not expect to get rich quick or be able to make a killing over night and retire to a tropical isle.

It is strange but some how the same people who wouldn’t dream of starting a real world business, think they can make a go of an internet business even though they have no business background.

People will go into an internet business with the idea that they no longer have to get up and go to work. They think they can simply work when the feel like it and still make a good living. They simply do not expect to have to work hard or work long hours.

Wrong Perceptions about the Internet

The 90% failure rate of new Internet businesses really isn’t all that surprising when you stop to think about the people who are starting internet businesses.

For some unknown reason most people think that running a successful internet business is as easy as getting a website built and hanging out an ‘open for business’ sign. They couldn’t be more wrong.

Running a successful internet business of any kind requires self-discipline. People will start an internet business and think that they can party all night, sleep until noon and then make a living in 3 or 4 hours sitting in front of a computer. They some how think that the world is just going to line up on their website and hand over money. It isn’t going to happen.

Internet businesses do not run on auto-pilot. It is true that well established internet marketing gurus do not have to put in long, tedious hours on their

businesses but it is a privilege that that has been earned by putting in a lot of long and tedious hours.

It didn’t happen overnight for them and it won’t happen over night for anybody. Most people are totally unprepared for the time investment that must be made in order for an internet business to become successful.

No Business Background

All businesses have two things in common. They are BUSINESSES and they must be run like businesses! The people who are in charge of a business need to understand the accepted practices of business.

They need to understand simple and basic ideas like acceptable over-head expenses in relation to projected income. Internet entrepreneurs need to understand profit and loss and what constitutes each.

A college degree in business in not essential for an internet business entrepreneur go be successful but it sure wouldn’t hurt. Just some basic business knowledge is absolutely vital.

f you have a hard time balancing your personal check book, you probably should keep your day job and forget about starting an internet business.
It is true that you can hire accounting firms that will tell you WHEN you must make tax deposits, for example, but these firms will not be able to tell you IF you need to make them.

Accounting firms can tell you whether or not you made a profit but not how to make it. If you have no business background you need to, at the very minimum,

get some good business advice before you even consider opening an online business.

The fact is that all successful businesses operate on sound business principles. Successful businesses aren’t accidents. The proof is in the numbers....only 10% of new internet businesses are successful or are even still in existence after the first 120 days of operation.

It is not even reasonable to expect to make a profit from a new business enterprise for many, many months.

You must have sufficient resources available to not only launch your business but provide for your own personal needs for an extended period of time. It’s called ‘capital’ and there is no way around the need for enough of it.

The Right Mindset Just Isn’t There!

You have most likely heard the phrase, ‘He has an attitude!” This is usually a derogatory remark made about a person with a disagreeable attitude.

But the word ‘attitude’ is an important one when discussing internet marketing start-ups. A good attitude...a good mind set can’t insure success but a bad attitude and a bad mind set can certainly guarantee failure.

Here are some wrong attitudes that will absolutely guarantee failure:

1. I can work when I want to. Wrong, wrong, wrong! You can’t just work when you feel like it. You have to expect to put in many long and very tedious hours of very hard work to make a new internet enterprise succeed.

2. I can get rich quick! You couldn’t be more wrong and you are not only wrong but you are putting yourself in danger as well. There are bazillions of crooks out there on the internet who are waiting for their next easy mark and if you are looking for a quick way to get rich, you ARE the next mark.

It is possible to make a very comfortable living with internet marketing enterprises but if anybody ever tells you it is quick or easy, they are lying to you.

3. I don’t need a business plan. There you are...wrong yet again. Internet business is still business. All of the same business principles apply to online business as apply to brick and mortar business. It is imperative that you have a plan for success that is based upon these sound business principles.

4. When you have an internet business of your own, you don’t have a boss. Wrong again! You are your boss. If you aren’t a good boss who sees to it that work is accomplished on time and in full, you will doom yourself to certain failure. Unless you are a boss who sets up a working schedule and establishes goals that must be met, you will find yourself working at a job under a boss who does do those things and maybe for minimum wage.
