Chapter 1: The Science Behind Insomnia

Have you ever suffered from insomnia? In other words, do you face the difficulty of falling asleep and staying asleep at night? So what causes it?

Often times, insomnia is caused by multiple reasons, such as not getting enough rest, hunger, psychological trauma and so on. No matter what the reason is, millions of human beings suffer from the devil called insomnia. It robs you from getting enough rest, saps your energy and destroys your productivity the next day. Not to mention the detrimental effect towards your own physical and mental health.

What is Insomnia?

Insomnia by definition is the difficulty of falling asleep and staying asleep. It refers to the types of restlessness a person suffers at different points of his or her sleep cycle. A simple indication to diagnose insomnia is when a person is not satisfied with the amount of sleep that he or she has been getting.

Those with insomnia will feel the lack of energy, fatigue at different moments of the day, facing difficulty in concentrating on tasks, experiencing terrible mood disturbances, and having a low-performance level in the workplace. It’s possible for insomniacs to have any of these symptoms after staying awake throughout the night.

A human body requires rest to rejuvenate both mind and body. A lack of rest in either one of them will result in fatigue and various mental illnesses. Although they are terribly exhausted to the core, they still fail to fall asleep or stay asleep due to different causes.

The Two Types of Insomnia

1. Acute Insomnia

There are two main types of insomnia. The first type is the kind of insomnia when you only suffer a couple of restless nights. Often times, you're able to fall asleep and stay asleep easily. For many, insomniacs might not think that they are suffering from it but the fact is, they could be having Acute Insomnia.

So what is Acute Insomnia? This kind of insomnia comes from the core levels of stress that insomniacs are experiencing at that moment. They will face a short period where they are not able to fall asleep because of the life circumstances they're facing at that moment. This type of insomnia doesn't last for a prolonged time. Instead, it only happens due to certain factors or events during a specified period of time. For instance, acute insomnia might occur after insomniacs faced the wrath of their boss, gotten a bad grade on a test, got rejected by their crush, or merely because they're having a 'Bad Day'. These situations can cause a person to have a night or two where he or she simply cannot get any sleep. Many people may have experienced this kind of insomnia and it tends to resolve on its own.

2. Chronic Insomnia

The second type of insomnia is known as Chronic Insomnia. It’s a prolonged kind of insomnia which occurs at least three nights per week and lasts for at least three months. Usually, this occurs when you are facing a significant change in your environment, physically or mentally. It could be moving to a new home, losing a loved one, being in a new workplace, facing challenges in school, or having trouble adapting to a harsher weather. Perhaps, the reason why chronic insomniacs are having trouble with sleep is that they have an unhealthy sleep habit without a proper sleep routine.

It’s common in today's world; modern society has screwed up sleep cycle with short hours of sleep. To make things worse, most of them sleep at odd hours. They don't practice the habit of going to bed early and rising early the next day.

As a result, the mind doesn't know when to shut down and would be accustomed to staying up late. That's the reason why insomnia has become a common problem in today's society. What people fail to understand is that the body will not be able to function with a small amount of sleep one night and expect to compensate their sleep gap by taking naps later on during the day. While this may seem possible and useful in the beginning, this sleep pattern is not sustainable for the long-term.

Eventually, the mind and body will collapse, and you will experience complete exhaustion until you get enough rest. The best fix is to have a fixed schedule to sleep and practice healthy sleep routine. Otherwise, you need to visit the doctor for medication. Typically it will be linked to another medical or psychiatric issue; meaning that the reason why you might be having chronic insomnia will be due to stress. What seems to be a typical situation will seem stressful if you have chronic insomnia. A restless mind and body will feel annoyed by any stimulus from the immediate environment.

The Causes of Insomnia

Regardless of the types of insomnia, the causes are the same. The difference lies in the intensity of emotions a person experiences for a set amount of time. Besides that, underlying medical conditions can also cause insomnia. Fortunately, insomnia is treatable in most cases.

Introduction

A key aspect of Internet marketing that many Internet marketers overlook is how important traffic is to one’s business. Without traffic coming to your website, you have no chance to make sales.

Yet, many Internet marketers are so focused on their individual product offers, offers they are promoting as affiliates, or joint ventures they are involved in that they forget to put a proper amount of attention on traffic. The old saying, “Build it, and they will come,” does NOT apply to Internet marketing. People aren’t just going to come to your website and your offer because you put it online- you have to get people to come, see it, and consider it. This is the traffic part of the equation, and that’s what this ebook will focus on.

In this ebook, you will learn about various methods of free and paid traffic. You will learn the difference between quantity and quality of traffic. You will learn about the importance of quality content and the power of search engine optimization (SEO), viral marketing, and social media marketing. You will also learn about how Google Analytics can help you learn more about the traffic that is coming to your site. There are many avenues of traffic on the World Wide Web, and there are potentially billions of people out there that you can reach from all across the world. If you know how to tap into quality traffic and can convince them that your offer is worthwhile, you have the chance to have a very profitable online business.

Zero Traffic Equals Zero Sales

Many Internet marketers, whether they are promoting their own products or offers of others as an affiliate, overlook the fact that traffic is essential to getting sales. If you have no traffic to your own product page or the page of an offer you are an affiliate of, you will get NO sales. In other words, you will make NO money from your affiliate marketing efforts. Therefore, it is important to not forget the traffic. Note that not all traffic is equal. One may think that getting a high amount of traffic to an offer is better than getting a low amount of traffic to the same offer, but if the lower amount of traffic is more highly targeted (i.e. matches up better with the offer you are promoting), you are likelier to make more affiliate sales with the lower amount of traffic than with the higher amount of traffic.

With any Internet marketing, including affiliate marketing, the offer you promote must match up well with your target audience or market- if it doesn’t, no matter how great the offer is and how many people you send to it, you’ll make fewer or even no sales. Therefore, it’s important to keep in mind the product offer you are promoting, the target market for that offer, and getting members of that target market to see the offer.

Therefore, it is key to getting high-quality traffic to your website or affiliate promotion so that you have a chance to make sales. Then, of course, it will depend on whether that traffic is really interested in your offer or not, your sales copy, and good follow-up email marketing to turn that traffic into sales.

Fortunately, there are several ways to get quality traffic to your site, both free and paid types. We will explore many free and paid traffic strategies in the next chapter.

Free Traffic Vs Paid Traffic

There are many ways to get traffic to your website. Some of them are free methods, others are paid methods. Generally, paid ways of getting traffic will get results (i.e. traffic and turning traffic into sales) faster than free ways of getting traffic, but paid ways can get costly, especially if you are inexperienced in the paid traffic method or are involved in a method with more experienced and better-financed competitors (such as pay-per-click ads on Google, etc.).

Many Internet marketers will often start out with free ways of getting traffic and build their businesses up over time, then utilizing paid methods to help boost the traffic they get to their sites and increase the number of sales they get over a shorter period of time, especially when they discover they have a popular offer that people want.

Thus, it makes sense to use both ways of getting traffic - free and paid – to build and grow your business. We will address more on how you should get started in the following chapters. For now, let’s go over a number of traffic methods to give you an overview of several of the options you have to get quality traffic to your site. (Note that this list is not exhaustive- there are even more methods you can consider and use, but we will attempt to provide the most effective and popular ones here).

On-Site/Off-Site Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Search engine optimization (SEO) is where you modify your site according to the search engine’s preferred algorithms to rank highly in their search results. There are both on-site and off-site free methods you can use to help boost your site’s rankings in the search engines.

On-site SEO involves putting quality content that your target market is looking for on your site, using a good combination of keywords in your meta tags (part of the HTML code that makes up your site), making sure none of the pages of your site have broken links or displaying incorrectly, ensuring your pages display correctly on mobile devices, and not putting large pop-up windows over the content of your site.
Off-site SEO involves ways to help your site rise in the search engine rankings away from your site. This includes getting follow-back links on high-ranking and high-quality websites, especially those that are pertinent in your industry. Off-site SEO also includes the following methods.

Guest Post Blogging

Guest post blogging involves you being a guest poster on another person’s blog. Usually, you will be invited to do a guest post on a blog that is either in the same or complementary industry as your site. For instance, if you are into social media marketing and the guest site is into SEO, the owner of that site may ask you to write a guest post on how social media can influence off-site SEO and help a site rank higher in the search engines.

In fact, this is how guest post blogging can help you to gain more traffic to your site. When people of a prominent site see your post and your signature link (i.e. a small section at the end of the article that tells about you, your experience, and your business with a link back to your site), they will likely click over to your site to see what you are all about, especially if they liked your post. They’ll figure that if you provided great information for free on a guest blog, what information do you provide for free on your own and in paid products.

Email List Building Blueprint

Step 1: Having the Right Mindset Is Crucial

Ensure that you have the right mindset when going into email marketing because emailing a subscriber list repeatedly with offers that don’t appeal to them will will do two things for you:

• It will cause you to lose subscribers quickly.
• You may also suffer from SPAM complaints to your internet service provider (ISP).

The keys to engagement

• Engagement is key to profitability and success in email marketing- must learn to connect with your subscribers.
• Thinking what you can do for your customers and subscribers is key to success in email marketing, and in online marketing in general.

Step 2: What’s Your Deliver Method?

What type of autoresponder service will you be using? An autoresponder is a type of computer program that automatically answers emails that are sent to it; without it, you’d have to send welcome/verification emails manually, which would be impossible, especially for sizable lists.

There are two types of autoresponders you can set up:

• Choose between having an autoresponder software program on your own Web server or pay an autoresponder company to use their service and their servers.
• You have more control with your own autoresponder software, but using too much of your Web host’s server resources could cause you to lose privileges.

Thus, most Internet marketers choose to pay an autoresponder company to use their service, especially since they have the resources to send out mass emails at one time.

Three of the most popular autoresponder services are:

• AWeber
• GetResponse
• MailChimp

Research them and others based on services, features, pricing, etc. to find the best one for your business.

Step 3: Opt-In Confirmations and Lead Magnets

Decide between single and double opt-in confirmations for your list.

• Single opt-ins require less work on the part of your subscribers, but can lead to mistaken sign-ups that could cause you problems if they receive messages they don’t want to receive.
• Double opt-ins require more work on the part of your subscribers to get onto your list, but you are assured that they really want to be on your list.

Your Free Lead Magnet

• Your free giveaway needs to be a valuable ebook/report/software program/etc. that will encourage people to give their contact information to you and join your list in return for it.
Best, most effective free giveaways are those that address a need or want of your target market- research online via competitors’ websites and online forums that cater to your niche to find out what will make the best free giveaways.

Choose how to create the free giveaway.

• Write/make it yourself.
• Hire an outsourcer to write/make it.
• Use private label rights (PLR) material for all or in part to write/make it.

If you do choose to use PLR for all or part of your free giveaway, be sure it is modified enough so that it is unique enough and valuable enough for your opt-in subscribers.

Step 4: Dedicating Your Landing Pages

Create a dedicated landing page using your preferred method of making Web pages or use your autoresponder’s landing page templates.

Landing Page Templates

This dedicated landing page should have fill-in-the-blanks for name and email address, plus should have a graphic that represents the ebook/report/software program.

• Add social share buttons to your landing page so that people can share your landing page and free giveaway to friends, family, followers, fans on social media- utilize the power of viral marketing.

Step 5: Thank You Page List Building

Create a thank you page that will be displayed to the subscriber once he/she has submitted his/her contact info (via single opt-in) or after he/she has verified his/her subscription (via double opt-in).

• Either create the thank you page via your Web design skills using your preferred Web page software or use thank you page templates from your autoresponder company.
• Add social media sharing buttons so that more people can learn about your free giveaway and so that more people will join your list.

Introduction

Many people hear about the benefits of having their own Internet business. They hear about the ability to work from anywhere, not be tied to a cubicle in an office building, not make money for someone else, and be one’s own boss. This greatly appeals to many of them, leading them to starting their own Internet business.

Unfortunately, 95% of Internet businesses fail, many of those not making it past the first year, as many eager business owners fail to recognize that there are critical elements that must be done in order to have a successful business, something many Internet marketers leave out when they are emailing their subscribers with offers.

Fortunately, this ebook will give you the information you need to set a solid foundation for your Internet business so that you can be among the 5% that is a successful, long-lasting Internet business.

Register Your Business With a Legal Business Name

One common mistake many eager Internet business owners make is that they just grab a domain name, put up a basic website, and expect the profits to flow in. That’s not how a legitimate Internet business works.

As with offline businesses, it is important to register your business name for several reasons:

- It’s the law in most locations (including the United States)- people need to know who is running the business.
- Registering your business name prevents other people from using it. After spending months or even years building your brand and business, you don’t want someone else using your hard work and/or ruining your brand’s reputation by taking the same or similar name because you didn’t register your business name.
- You can get tax benefits, especially if you file as a limited liability corporation (LLC) or incorporate your business (INC).
- Most people feel more confident and are more willing to do business with companies that are either incorporated or an LLC than if the business is not.

There is one important exception to having to register your business name. If you plan to use your name as your business, you do not have to register that.

It is recommended that you talk to one or more qualified professionals (including lawyers and/or accountants) about your own specific situation and whether incorporating your business, filing it as an LLC, entering into a partnership, or being a sole proprietorship is best for your particular situation.

Get A Second Address For Your Business

Getting a second address for your business indicates that you are keeping your home and business mail separate, which is smart to ensure you don’t miss any mail associated with your business and get it mixed up with your personal mail. In addition, you won’t be posting your personal address on business cards or on your website, which can help to protect your privacy.

The best way to get a second address for your business is via getting a PO Box from your local post office. You can apply to rent this private box for a monthly fee (usually billed in 3-, 6-, or 12-month incremental payments), which will allow you to receive mail at your local post office. You have to fill out some paperwork and usually have to show two forms of identification before you can be approved to rent a box.

The boxes range in sizes and prices, so you can choose the one that best fits your needs and budget. Of course, the smaller the box, the more often you will have to visit your post office to pick up your mail or risk it getting too full and the post office suspending your lease, so choose wisely.

Open a Separate Business Bank Account

Just as with getting a second address for your business, opening a separate business bank account will enable you to keep your business and personal expenses separate so that there are no mistakes or oversights involving business expenses and properly recording them. Proper accounting and records are key to staying legal with your business and helping to ensure you don’t get into any financial or legal ramifications with your country’s tax division at any point in the future.

To open a business bank account at almost any bank, you need to show that you actually have a business. This usually means that you have to provide the name of the business and the nature of the business (i.e. what is the reason for its existence).

In some countries, you may have to provide an identification number known as an Employer Identification Number (EIN) or may even have to provide a copy of your business plan that includes your company’s target market, profit margins, and forecasted future earnings. All of these requirements are to show the bank that you are legitimately in business and that the bank should feel comfortable in providing you with a business bank account.

Note that you can apply for a business bank account either in person at a local branch or online. Applying for it online is often easier, and this also allows you to apply at virtually any bank anywhere, even if it’s not near your business’ or home’s location. However, it is often advantageous to have a branch of the bank that hosts your business account near your home and/or business so that if some issue or problem arises, you can easily go to the branch to discuss and resolve it. While some issues can be resolved online, others can be dealt with more efficiently if you are present in-person, which will be much harder, more expensive, and more time-consuming if the bank you choose to do business with is located far from your home and/or business.

Open A Merchant Account

A merchant account is an account that allows you to accept credit and debit card payments. In the past, you could only get a merchant account via opening such an account at a bank. However, you now have other options besides the traditional banks, including PayPal and Stripe.

No matter which option(s) you choose to have a merchant account, all merchant accounts provide you with the ability to process credit and debit card transactions. For each transaction that is processed, a percentage of the amount will be taken as compensation, known as a transaction fee. This is often in the 2-3% range, depending on the company providing you with the merchant account and sometimes even the amount of the transaction itself.

PayPal and Stripe are two companies that are really merchant account “aggregators.” Unlike merchant accounts with a bank, PayPal and Stripe allow virtually anyone to have the ability to process credit and debit card transactions, even if their business is brand new and has no history or track record of success.

Conversely, banks need to verify your business plan and know you are a legitimate business before they will consider giving you a merchant account and the ability to process credit and debit card payments. (In fact, you need a business bank account to get a merchant account with a bank).

In addition, PayPal and Stripe don’t require a monthly fee or a contract, whereas traditional merchant accounts do. Thus, if you are just starting out in business, PayPal and/or Stripe are a good way to get a merchant account quickly and begin to take order payments quickly.

Email List Building Gold MRR Ebook

Introduction

If you have been around for any length of time online, you have probably heard the phrase, “the money is in the list.” This refers to the idea that the key to profitability with email marketing is having your own subscriber list that buys from you. With your own list, you can email to them regularly and have them purchase your offers, whether they are your own products or products you are an affiliate of.

Of course, having success with email marketing involves more than just emailing your list repeatedly with offers- in fact, that’s a good way to get them to unsubscribe from your list and possibly even file complaints with your Internet service provider (ISP), which can lead to greater restrictions on your ability to email your list.

Thus, there are certain rules and guidelines you should follow if you plan on being successful with email marketing. Done properly, email marketing can be a very lucrative marketing vehicle for your business, your brand, and your reputation. This ebook will show you the proper way to begin building your list, forming a relationship with them, and getting them to trust you so that they will be likelier to purchase products and services you recommend to them. It will also show you what you should avoid so that you don’t damage your reputation with them and make them want to leave your list and even complain to your ISP.

Begin With The End In Mind

A key mistake many beginner and intermediate Internet marketers make when they dive into email marketing is that they go in with the wrong mindset. The mindset many of them will go in with is, “I’ll email my list repeatedly and make plenty of sales.” It’s likely they have subscribed to some email marketers’ lists who spread this way of thinking in order for their subscribers to purchase from them.

Truth be told, if you go into email marketing with the mindset that you can repeatedly email your list numerous times over the course of a few days or even hours, you are essentially dooming yourself to failure in email marketing before you even start. Despite what you may have heard or even seen from some Internet marketers, repeatedly emailing your list the same offers over and over again is only going to lead to them NOT buying from you, unsubscribing from your list, and even potentially reporting you to your ISP for harassment and abuse of email. That will certainly damage your business, brand, and reputation, and it will not be easy to recover from such damage, if it’s even possible. Thus, it’s best you NEVER have that mindset to begin with.

The mindset you should have when it comes to email marketing is not the profitability you can gain from it, but rather the value you can bring to your subscribers. This includes the ability to know them and help them wherever possible.

A popular word that is being spread in the business world today is “engagement.” Engagement is the connection you make with your subscribers and customers, showing that you understand them and providing them with what they need and want to buy. Engagement is a big key to being successful with email marketing because your subscribers have to learn more about who you are, what you stand for, and why they should learn to trust you and your recommendations so that they will purchase from you.

Virtually no one is going to buy from a shady dealer, retailer, or business. This also holds true in online marketing as well. If people can’t learn to trust you because of shady business practices, your email marketing efforts will go for naught, leading to little to no profit and a negative reputation.

This is why your mindset from the very beginning of your email marketing career has to be what you can do for your subscribers and customers, NOT how much profit you can get from them and relentlessly emailing them in order to obtain that profit. Have the right mindset from the beginning, and you can certainly earn a great deal from email marketing in the long term, not to mention create a positive reputation for your brand, your business, and yourself.

Choose Your Autoresponder Service

An autoresponder is a type of computer program that automatically answers emails that are sent to it. Internet marketers will use these to send out pre-set email messages when an Internet user inputs their contact information, including their email address, into an opt-in form on the marketer’s website. When the user does this, he/she will get pre-set email messages welcoming the user to the marketer’s opt-in list, providing a link to a free gift or an attached file of the gift itself, and information on what the user can expect to receive from the marketer in terms of future email messages sent to the user’s email address.
You can see why an autoresponder is so important to an email marketer. If the marketer had to manually contact every person who signs up for his/her list, the marketer would have to be at his/her computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, just to ensure he/she sent out welcome messages and gifts to every user who opted onto his/her list. Obviously, the marketer would not get anything else done, and his/her business would fail.

As for getting an autoresponder, there are two ways to accomplish this. The first way is to host the autoresponder on one’s own server and use his/her Web hosting provider to send the messages. This is often done via a WordPress plugin or some other software program or script that allows you to run your own autoresponder on your own Web hosting server.

This method can be done, but it’s not always easy to install the plugin or script needed to make it run correctly. Thus, only those who are versed in installing scripts and/or plugins should even consider this option.

Even if you can correctly install the script or plugin onto your server, this is often not the best way to have your own autoresponder, as there are pitfalls with this method. One pitfall is that if you send out too many emails at one time, your Web hosting provider may throttle your loading page speed and may even flag your Web hosting account because you are using too many of their hosting sources to send out the messages. Thus, you can only send out so many emails in a specific period of time, which can be detrimental if you have a large email list and/or gain a large number of subscribers in a short period of time.
The other major pitfall with having your own autoresponder via script or plugin on your own server is that you often can’t do double opt-in confirmation. Double opt-in confirmation essentially means double-checking that your subscriber really wants to be on your list and wasn’t subscribed by accident or without his/her consent- more on this will be discussed in a later chapter.

With these pitfalls, most Internet marketers prefer to sign up to an autoresponder service with the resources to ensure that they can send out multiple messages to multiple subscribers at one time without getting their loading speed throttled or their account flagged. These autoresponder services also enable double opt-ins (in fact, many service now require double opt-ins for compliance with various laws, such as the CAN-SPAM act).

Suffice it to say, having a good autoresponder service is essential to building a responsive email list and being successful at email marketing. Fortunately, there are many quality autoresponder services available for you to choose from. We will go over some of your options below.

AWeber

AWeber was one of the earliest email autoresponder companies, getting its start back in 1998. They serve over 100,000 small businesses and entrepreneurs in their email marketing campaigns. In fact, if you are looking for a fast and easy way to set up shop so Six Figure Blogging: Special Report that you can start to make money online without a great investment, blogging is the way to go.

Creating high-quality blogs in your niche or industry that generate traffic, and provide valuable content and information to your market is also one of the most effective methods of building a presence of authority and establishing yourself within your industry so incredible profit margins aside; blogging puts you in a great position within your market.

And guess what? The best part about this strategy is that it’s also exceptionally easy to do and is very cost effective. It doesn’t cost a lot of money to set up a blog. In fact, the majority of work will involve your time – not your dollars.

So, without further delay – let’s jump right in!

The Truth About Blogging

Here’s the truth about 6-figure blogging: While blogging can be automated (eventually), you shouldn’t expect income to be passive from the get-go. You’ll have to work at it, especially when you are launching your blog and building a platform that you want to be recognized in your market.

When I first started blogging I was spending 30-50 hours a month creating content, converting visitors into email subscribers, and selling products and services (none of which I created myself – I focused entirely on affiliate marketing. More on that later).

While I eventually outsourced most of my content to skilled writers, I still spend time evaluating advertising options, reviewing products that I can promote, building my mailing list and creating ad campaigns to boost traffic and keep my blogs in the forefront.

While you can delegate many tasks to a team, such as content creation and even marketing, you will want to be directly involved in the initial building phase. This is your brand, after all. You need to make sure every piece of content has your voice, carries your message and represents your business in the best possible way.

No one will ever be as careful and professional with building your blog as you will be, right? So, dig your heels in and commit to spending the first few months building your blog from the ground floor up. Then, and only then, should you begin to create a team that will help you manage your blog and eventually, expand into other avenues with other nichebased blogs (if you choose to do that).

Again, in no way is blogging a hands-free method of making money during the INITIAL stages. You must be prepared to put in some time and effort if you truly want to succeed.

But the good news? Your hard work will pay off.

The 5-Step Formula

While there are countless reports and articles that overcomplicated the process of making money with blogging, here’s a basic overview of how it’s done:

1: Create a blog and register a memorable domain. Avoid remotely hosted options. You need to be in full control of your website so you can take advantage of all the different revenue options with no limitations (or other people’s advertisements).

2: Write (or outsource) killer content that will generate traffic and drive visitors in. This content needs to be extremely high-quality, targeted and informative. All meat, no veggies.

3: Convert your visitors into email subscribers so you can build your list. A newsletter is key in building a successful blog online. Scratch that; a newsletter is essential to be successful in nearly ANY market online. You will never make as much money without one.

4: Communicate with those subscribers regularly so your lists don’t run cold. Build rapport and trust. Nurture relationships with your market. This is where you can build a recognized brand as an authority in your market and set yourself apart from the competition (especially those bloggers who aren’t doing this!).

5: Sell products and services to your audience via your blog and through your newly cultivated newsletter.

Sounds easy enough, right? It is. But it will take time. Let’s dig into each of these steps a bit deeper so you better understand how it works.

CREATING YOUR BLOG

This report is focused on how to make money with your blog, so I won’t go into detail about building the platform. Just know that you should always choose a memorable domain that is targeted to your market and that you set up a professional hosting account that houses your blog. Don’t use a free host or a remotely hosted option like Blogger.

CREATING CONTENT FOR YOUR BLOG

The type of content you create will depend on your target audience, but every piece of content should always be informative and the juiciest, most relevant topic you can come up with.

Your content will be what drives in traffic and keeps visitors returning to your blog. It needs to establish your blog as an informative source of content in your market so make sure you spend extra time crafting compelling content (or outsource to experienced writers who know your market inside and out).

Insider Tip: An easy way to provide extra value on your website is by using a plugin like www.PostGopher.com that will turn your article content into PDF files that your visitors can save to their computers. This lets them read it at a later time, keeping their attention and increasing your chances that they will digest your content.

Introduction

Did you know that people watch 5 billion videos on YouTube every day? In fact, 300 hundred hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute! This might not even surprise you, as YouTube is the leading service that made it possible to easily put videos online in 2005. Flash forward to 2017 and if your marketing strategy does not have a video component tied to it, your visibility and business growth potential will suffer. Video should become a critical piece of the marketing puzzle because of how much video content your audience is consuming. But, with many other companies knowing this, it’s becoming harder and harder to stand out amongst your competition. This is why advertising spend does need to be allocated to services like YouTube in order to gain visibility from your target audience.

Although similar to paid search spend, the world of YouTube advertising can seem a bit overwhelming and complicated to navigate at first.

Hence, this guide will walk you through the several aspects of running a successful YouTube channel and make a killing using these tips.

Chapter 1

About YouTube

YouTube is the leader in online video, and the premier destination to watch, share, and promote original videos online. YouTube is fully integrated with Google Ad Words for video, leveling the playing field for businesses that want to reach new customers with online video. YouTube is a video Social Networking site and the 2nd most popular search site on the Internet after Google, who owns YouTube. YouTube video watching is a significant activity on the Internet, with over 1 billion visits to YourTube daily and over 100 million videos watched daily. And it's easy for anyone who sees your video to rate it and share it with his Social Network. How YouTube Works? YouTube's theme is “Broadcast Yourself,” and as such encourages everyone to make and broadcast videos on everything imaginable. YouTube is owned and operated by Google, and leverages the search power of Google. All YouTube videos are indexed by Google's search and will appear in Google's search results when you select Video in the search options on Google. Using YouTube is a great way to get listed in Google's search results since Google gives YouTube videos priority in their search results. YouTube videos can be viewed by anyone with access to the Web site. No user account or log-in is needed to search for or watch videos. Setting up a user account, on the other hand, allows you to upload videos, and also lets you customize your viewing with YouTube by subscribing to “channels” and giving feedback ratings on videos. When you set up your own YouTube user account, many of the familiar functions of Social Networking are offered as options, such as sending a YouTube video link to a friend or contact, commenting on a video, and rating a video. You can also link to a YouTube video from your blog and include it in a post. Using YouTube for Marketing Videos on YouTube can be short and simple. For your marketing, decide on a goal for your YouTube activity. Some common themes include customer support, educational, product instructions, customer interviews, employee interviews, event videos, and professional produced videos. Your YouTube videos need to have tags and descriptions associated with them for search in YouTube, so use your keywords and be sure to include them when you upload your video. Google's search bots cannot index the media, only the text associated with the media, so adding tags is critical to your video being indexed. Just like any Social Media, creating an account and only posting once (one Video) won't have a great impact. Creating a series of videos, however, will result in increased search optimization and followers of your YouTube channel. Find a way to implement regular video production into your marketing effort to build an audience on YouTube and increase your ranking. Video Production For production, you can use a hand-held video camera. Any major brand that has a microphone input will produce good video. Good sound quality is important for video production and making your YouTube video easy to understand. If you have a story to tell, make some notes and rehearse those several times to make it sound more natural when you are reading from them. If you find you're better at ad-hoc video, keep a video camera with you for part to capture some of your daily activities. If you have a Smartphone, use the built-in video camera to capture some short videos. Simple YouTube uploading from a YouTube app is usually a feature included with most smart phones.

Microsoft Windows Live Movie Maker and the Apple iMovie applications allow basic video editing and are a good place to start for editing your own video productions. Consider getting a professional video made if you decide to expand your marketing and want more complex stories told in your videos. The production quality on YouTube is improving and a good video production can be created for $1,000-$4,000 as a starting point. The higher the budget, the more you'll get in scripting, production preparation, and concept development by a professional. But don't let that stop you from doing something on your own, good audio quality and a steady camera can result in an excellent video. Remember, it's the message and content that's important to viewers. YouTube Analytics YouTube Analytics is a self-service analytics and reporting tool. It provides data about each video you upload, so you can easily track how many views it gets, where people are coming from to find it and what type of people are watching it. YouTube Analytics can give you information about: ? the 'firsts' for the video, including the first referral from a related video, first referral from a YouTube search (including the search terms used), first time the video is embedded in another website ? how many views came from each referral source ? which gender and age groups the video is most popular with ? which countries the video is most popular in ? how many comments and ratings it has received. YouTube channels You can set up a YouTube channel for your business, bringing all your videos together. This allows you to customize your channel with images representing your firm. Your channel includes an 'About' section where you can provide a short description of your business and a link to your website or contact details. Your channel is where you group the videos you make and upload, the videos you watch and like, and the playlists of videos you create. Your channel will have a web address (URL) that you can promote on your website or marketing material. People can subscribe to your channel. This means when they log in to YouTube your videos will be listed on their YouTube homepage. You can also create 'playlists' within your YouTube channel to organize your videos by subject or type. For example, you could have a playlist featuring videos about each of your product categories, or you might have a playlist for videos contributed by your customers for a video competition you run. YouTube Advertising YouTube incorporates features that let businesses promote their videos to people who might be interested in them, targeting customers by demographics, topics or interests. Advertisers pay each time someone views their video. You can choose which locations your ad will appear in, what format it will be, and even how much you are prepared to pay per view (if you want to boost the prominence of your ad over your competitors). YouTube's advertising guide explains how it works. Why Opt for YouTube for Business? Starting a business and making sure that it prospers into something profitable – these are two completely different tasks. You need to put in a lot of effort to make sure that people see your product or brand. YouTube is one of the best possible tools for this job. Here are some of the important benefits that your business will get by building a strong presence on YouTube.

? Popularize your product: If your business is trying to get into a new market with a particular product, you can simply make a video of the product working and show the benefits that the product has. If done in a creative manner, you will soon find that there will be many people liking your video and going for your product. ? Get feedback: You can use YouTube even if you are not completely ready with your product. It can be a great tool to figure out the response that the product might get. You simply have to put up the video of your prototype. ? Sharing made easy: As a young business setup, you may have people located at remote locations. It might not be possible for you to share all the material with them. YouTube can be a great way to share presentations or something similar with these remote employees. ? Simplify tasks: For businesses that often get client calls regarding problems with the product, YouTube can be a lifesaver. You might not have a work force to cater to all these problems. In that case, you can simply make a video with systematic details and share it on YouTube so the users can access it. ? Increase your brand visibility: If you are unable to make a video regarding your business due to time constraints or lack of good content, then there are other methods. You can simply go, rate and comment on relevant videos. You can also share some good videos on your channel. Simply by doing this, you are making your brand more visible and communicating with other users. ? YouTube Insight: Once you have your video on YouTube, comments are not the only way to analyze them. In addition to comments and ratings, there is an Insight feature also available on YouTube. This is a reporting function, which provides you with statistical data regarding the people visiting your video. This is helpful as you can figure out whether your campaign is actually working or not and make changes accordingly.

Introduction

Every entrepreneur has the power to make an absolute killing on the Internet.

Yes, this includes you.

Whether you’re an existing marketer in search of serious passive income, a part-time dabbler who just can’t get consistent sales with your existing funnel or maybe a newbie with no experience and a lot of desire, you have the power to pull six-figure profit off the Internet as consistent and routine as clockwork.

In fact, there is only one thing that separates the wannabes from the wealthy, the tinkerers from the Trumps: successful Internet marketers have learned how to effectively and consistently DRIVE TRAFFIC in an ever-changing Internet world.

It sounds simple, right? Well, it is. It's just not easy. It will require a journey toward personal and professional development to which you must totally commit. But why should you believe me? What's makes me such an expert on the subject?

I’ve spent twenty years building Internet businesses and creating software solutions that get results. My first Internet business began in 1997. In 2003 I launched a software company that generated profits in excess of $15,000 within 30 days and over six figures my first year.

I have developed innovative marketing tools, custom software solutions that drive tons of traffic. Internet marketing gurus swear by my software solutions and their effectiveness. I can tell you that everything you're about to read in this e-book WORKS. This is one of the most important skill sets you will ever learn.

This information will radically change your financial life and indirectly your entire life, given the correlation between financial success and personal freedom. It will give you control, once and for all, over how to achieve your short and long term goals. As a tool for financial independence it will ultimately impact every area of your life. Your confidence will soar.

As someone interested in Internet profits, you might very well have a goal in mind or some idea about what you want to do with this new-found knowledge. Perhaps you just want extra cash. Maybe you want to create wealth. Maybe you want to make enough profit to quit your current job and retire early. Maybe you just want to improve your marketing funnel.

Regardless of your intentions at this moment, I can tell you that as soon as you learn the skills I'm going to teach you, you are going to see immediate improvements in every area of your Internet marketing business.

Take a moment to consider why you do the things you do. What is the motivation that drives your actions? Why do you want to master Internet marketing?

Nine times out of ten the answer to that question will be: “If I can sell products on the Internet, I can make a lot of money.” But can't you make a lot of money in a professional career? Think about it. A career as a nurse anesthetist requires about 6 years of education and offers a mean salary of about 140K on average throughout the United States. What about salesmen? There are door-to-door vacuum cleaner salesmen who make 100K per year.

Why isn't everyone knocking on doors and making a killing? Because not only is it difficult, there is no freedom in it. And worse, it is IMPOSSIBLE TO LEVERAGE YOUR TIME AND EFFORT. Careers which are the result of education and certification frequently result in some manner of 'glass ceiling' where future increased salaries (profit) isn't possible. On top of that you're tied into a burdensome weekly schedule. The whole point of making money is freedom. Freedom to do what you want on your own time; freedom to live and work wherever you want, for as much or as little as you want.

That's it. That is the point. Don't get confused about why you are in college, or why you went to college or why you are working a career or just have a job. Everything you do, consciously or unconsciously, is to achieve the goal of quitting work for good and having enough money...to DO WHAT YOU WANT. And if you don't know the skills I'm about to teach you, then it doesn't matter how much you study or what you do. Nor does it matter how much money you make.

Not having the skills you are about to learn – how to properly and effectively create lasting value and drive traffic – means you won't have the confidence of knowing that you're heading in the proper direction; knowing that you'll be able to get what you want: financial independence.

There are lots of people out there who just get “lucky”, but we are not interested in that. Why would you want to be one of the lucky ones? Why would you want to be the person who just so happened to be in the right place at the right time in order for something good to happen to you? I'm not going to teach you how to put yourself into routine strategies and systems which simply allow whatever happens to happen.
I'm going to teach you how to CREATE the most profitable and effective marketing systems, which will allow you to rapidly grow and scale your Internet business.

Everyone knows that “knowledge is power”. I'm certain you've heard this phrase over and over throughout your life. It sounds good – but it is completely meaningless. Knowledge isn't power…

Application is power.

You can know anything and everything, but if you don't apply the concepts, you will not be any more powerful.

Let's say when you finish this e-book that I give you a system, which, if you use properly to plan and build a rock-solid Internet business, would generate a million dollars. All you have to do is follow the rules and it will only be a matter of time before you have a million dollars in profit.

When you get the system are you rich? Of course not. Do you have a million dollars? No, you don't! All you have is the knowledge about HOW to get the million dollars. You have to stand up and motivate yourself to follow the plan and get the money.

Getting Your Feet Wet

Once upon a time, building your own software empire meant becoming another Microsoft or Bill Gates. And that took plenty of time, plenty of money, and plenty of resources.

Nowadays, it’s as simple as turning on your computer.

Well, maybe not THAT simple. But having a computer is really all it takes to own, operate, and develop a software business.

Just having access to the Internet…

You can brainstorm and come up with ideas.
You can find out what type of products do or don’t already exist.
You can determine exactly what people want and need.
You can locate and hire a programmer.
You can create software graphics (or have them created).
You can promote and sell your finished products.

And when you think about the fact that you can do all those things without leaving the comfort of your home, it’s pretty amazing. Plus, the cost of creating and developing software is no where near what it used to be.

Instead of having to travel long distances or settle for whatever programmer is located within a reasonable distance from you (and whatever price they happen to charge), you can easily choose from any number of qualified programmers throughout the world.

For each project you put out there, you’ll have numerous professionals vying for your business, each one trying to outbid the other. And in most instances, that means coming up with a bid that is lower than the next guy.

Not that you should pick the lowest bid. That should never be your main consideration when choosing a programmer. But the fact that programmers will be competing in that manner means you can ultimately get the best possible job done for the best possible price.

Another advantage is the income potential. Although there are several ways you can make money online, none of them comes close when you calculate the amount of money that can be generated through the sale of software products.

And the true benefit of dealing in software products is the fact that you don’t have to talk someone into buying it. The product either fulfills the needs or wants of a prospective buyer or it doesn’t.

With an ebook, for example, you generally have to come up with all sorts of ingenious sales copy just to convince people why they should buy it. With software, it’s as simple as listing all the features and benefits.

And, when it comes right down to it, people who purchase software products aren’t really interested in hearing some sales pitch. They simply want the facts and nothing but the facts…

Does this product have all the features I want/need?
Will this product help me do something faster/easier?
Is this product easy to install?
Is this product easy to use?
Will this product work on my operating system?
Does this product come with help documents?
Is there any technical support?
How much does this product cost?
Will there be future upgrades and are they free?

Those are the type of questions that run through the mind of your typical software buyer. If you can deliver everything they’re looking for at a fair price, you’ve made a sale. If not, they’ll simply move on to one of your competitors.

In order to be successful in the software industry, you need to be constantly aware of what people want and need. But being aware is only the beginning. It’s also necessary to create quality products that will satisfy any and all of the buying public’s requirements. And in many instances, greatly exceed their expectations.

Notice, however, that I used the word “quality” with regard to creating products.

That’s the one thing that’s absolutely imperative in this business. If you merely run around producing second-rate clones of existing products, or you develop products that don’t work properly, you might as well pack it in.
