How To Increase Profits On The Backend PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

THE PSYCHOLOGY OF BACKEND PROFITS

Most businesses spend too much time trying to gain new customers and fail to recognize the immense goldmine that they have in their existing customers. The fact is that the people most likely to buy from you are those people who have already bought from you! That's why backend marketing can help to boost your profits, even when new customers are few and far between. As a strategy to survive and thrive in a recession, it's hard to beat backend marketing.

WHY IT WORKS

Backend marketing works because people are the most suggestible in buying behavior just after they've made a decision to buy. Once they overcome resistance to purchasing from you, they've given you their trust. You no longer have to market to overcome buying resistance; instead, you market to them to have them buy even more from you.

For the business owner, it works because it's easy to implement backend strategies, whether you are an online or a retail business. It just takes a bit of conscious attention to the actual purchasing transaction and understanding when to offer customers an upsell or a more expensive item. Once you get the hang of this, it's a very easy way to increase the bottom line without spending tons of time advertising.

STRATEGIES ARE SIMPLE

Strategies are deceptively simple and work best when implemented with consistency. While it doesn't take much to ask someone if he/she wants a pair of socks to go with a set of shoes he/she just bought, if you don't have that step planned out, you can miss that opportunity. It works best when you use these strategies at specific times and quite consistently.

When planning your sales funnel, you should include deliberate methods to sell backend offers. It shouldn't ever be an afterthought; it should be a carefully planned marketing strategy. It may look like a simple question or an additional ad that is carefully placed on a thank you form, but it's a planned attempt to get your visitors to open their wallets wider. Don't miss an opportunity to increase your bottom line, particularly when the customer is in the mood to buy – which is usually when they've just agreed to buy. By paying attention to your sales funnel and strategies, you can set up a maze of offers that are subtle yet powerful motivators to sell.

THE PLANNED SALES FUNNEL

A sales funnel is the way that you can get an unidentified visitor to self-identify himself/herself and to join your marketing program. The first step is to turn anonymous visitors into real live email addresses that have given you permission to contact them. Without knowing who is visiting your site, you'll never be able to execute a successful sales funnel. That's just the mouth of the sales funnel. After that, you should have some steps set up to place people in particular demographic groups that you then intend to market to in some way.

Whether it is a new or an old customer, they should all be in some area of your sales funnel. Your sales funnel should include backend offers at regular intervals, in emails, in forms, in various types of promotions. It should include various email campaigns. It should track the sales of your offers and how to upgrade people to other lists if they selfidentify themselves as big spenders.

THE DOUBLE OPT-IN FORM

When people first visit, your priority is to get them to register via a frontend offer. This can be a free report, ebook, discount coupon, or some other offer that is given to them in appreciation for subscribing to your email list. Once they've entered the mouth of your sales funnel, the double opt-in form, then you have a perfect right to market to them in any way that you choose, frontend or backend.

The double opt-in form also works great as a way to start the process of marketing to new clients because it weeds out spammers and fake email addresses. In order to receive the freebie, the customer has to verify his/her email address by going to his/her inbox and clicking a link to verify. This then verifies the account, and he/she is fully registered and is sent to the download area where he/she can see the freebie.

WITHIN THE FREEBIE, DO A BACKEND OFFER

While your first few emails should remain friendly and casual, whatever it is that you've offered them as bait to sign up, it should include some backend offers. If it's a report, you should include a description on some good tools or services that you're selling or on other products, even affiliate offers. Ask for referrals too for anyone that might like a free copy of whatever it is that you are giving away. Next, add their name to a particular marketing campaign. If they haven't self-identified themselves yet, just add them to a generic email list for low-income offers and start to send out these emails once a week or as often as they allow you to. You can set this all up through AWeber.com to automate it.

MARKET SOMETHING UNTIL IT SELLS

Once people are in a sales funnel and on an email list, you just continue to market to them per your plan until a sale is made. If they are your existing customers, they've already identified who they are and how much they are willing to spend. If they spend a lot, put them on an email campaign that offers them larger frontend and backend offers. If you don't know whether they'd be willing to spend more, offer them a low-income frontend offer with a high-income backend offer, just in case.

HAVE MANY, MANY OFFERS IN YOUR FUNNEL

If you want to do backend offers, you have to have many products in your inventory. They don't specifically have to be your own products; they can be affiliate products. However, you need sufficient inventory to mix and match your offers so that people won't get tired of seeing the same offer every time and get more resistant to being marketed to out of pure boredom.

THE THREE-TIERED SYSTEM

In your inventory should be three categories of products: low-, mid-, and high-range products. The reason for this is that you are going to cycle through the entire line up of products in whatever demographic your customer is in. If they self-identify themselves as being willing to buy in the mid-range, then you can shift them out of the low-range products and start cycling them through the mid-range products, and so on.

This three-tiered system works well because it allows you to keep track of what part of the sales funnel they are in, what they've already bought, and what you still need to market until it sells. After that, it's just a matter of learning when to give incentives to have them buy more on the backend.

GAIN TRUST WITH YOUR LOW-END PRODUCTS FIRST

Some strategies work best with different tiers of products. You can't really do an immediate backend offer the moment someone buys a low-end product, unless it's very subtle, like something that is included within the content of a freebie. Otherwise, it's not enough time for customers on that tier to really ascertain the quality of your products and to trust that you will deliver what you say you will deliver.

If that's the case, you might want to offer more significant freebies to move them up a notch, like an invitation to a teleseminar or a free coaching session. That way, they can test your products before you actually move into marketing to them for bigger amounts of money.

LIMITED ONE-TIME OFFERS

Once you've gotten a mid-level product sale from a customer, you can start to offer them one-time offers on the backend. These offers are great deals for your regular customers, who now understand that you have good products and they have enough trust in you to purchase more. Once they've identified themselves in this category due to their moving into the mid-priced level of products, you can start to market the limited one-time backend offer.

BE CLEAR IT IS “ONE TIME”

After the sale of a mid-priced product, send the customer to a sales page with some related product on it. Tell them that because they've bought a specific item, they are given this “one time” chance to make another complementary purchase at a discounted price. Make it clear that once they leave the page, that price will no longer be offered. Sweeten the deal by adding some bonuses to your special deal that are also included in your “one-time” offer. These bonus items will no longer be available for free with other packages unless they make this deal. Should they leave the page, the offer is gone forever and so is the discounted price. This really lights a fire under people's butts and is a great way to make use of a backend offer at just the right time.

WHY IT WORKS

The customer who is led to this backend offer has already indicated that he/she is willing to buy mid-priced products from you, so money is not an issue. They probably are also highly interested in your lineup of products. They might decide to wait until they have more money to come back and buy some more from you later, but if you showed them how they would save tons of money from you by buying now, they are more likely to buy the one-time offer. In addition, one of the psychological triggers that people have is a fear of loss. If a deal is really good, they already trust you, and they know that they will most likely want this product in the future, the fear of loss will get them to buy now, knowing that that offer will never appear again and that they will only have themselves to blame for missing it.

TRY A ONE-TIME OFFER ON YOUR THANK YOU PAGE

Instead of going to a totally separate page upon buying the mid-level product, you can include the one-time offer on your thank you form as a special way to thank people for patronizing your site. This is also a nice way to show people that you are paying attention to your buyers and rewarding them for their loyalty.

BONUS OFFERS

Along with the regular lineup of products in your sales funnel, you should set up multiple bonus offers that you can offer on the backend at various times. You can offer them in an email that confirms a download of a product. You can offer them in email campaigns at specific times when some action is taken, whether it's joining a forum or participating in a survey. Once you have someone's attention, it doesn't hurt to offer him/her something special by way of a thank you during his/her interaction with you.

How To Find The Hot Spots In Internet Marketing PLR Ebook

NICHES: HOT SPOTS THAT DRIVE INTERNET MARKETING

Whether you are just getting into Internet marketing or have been doing this for a while, you know that developing a niche is key to the success of your Internet marketing efforts. After all, when you are in business on the Internet, you don't necessarily have to produce a particular product first to market it. You don't even have to provide a service to market that either.

Online marketing makes it easy for anyone to get into business, whether they have experience in any specific business or not. The entire world of products and services are open to market on the Internet, as long as you know how to market using infoproducts and affiliate marketing to sell online. So, where do you start? Isn't it too overwhelming? That's where a market niche becomes an indispensable tool to help you target profitable and interesting markets that can bring attention to your website and help you be successful in your chosen Internet marketing venture.

This report will tell you how to locate hot spots in Internet marketing topics in a methodical way that anyone can follow. This will save you from implementing topics that you may be passionate about, but in reality have very little market value. It will also help you locate the most profitable areas to be in and to time them to get in when they will yield riches without too much extra effort. When you know how to pick out great hot spots for topics you will find that your Internet marketing gets quicker and easier.

WHY PASSION ISN'T ENOUGH

Many experts advise you to follow your passion and the money will follow. While this may seem like good advice, the Internet is such a vast landscape that to maximize the potential that your passion matches what people are actually searching for online you need a better plan. So, while passion is a good indication that you will be interested enough to pursue a topic longterm, it's not necessarily the only ingredient you need to succeed. You actually need to know what topics are popular and being search actively on the Internet, to start understanding how to locate a hot topic. In addition, as an Internet marketer, you want to pick a topic that is profitable, and there are ways to do that using tools like the Google Keyword Tool, which will be discussed later more indepth. And, finally, you want to know how competitive the niche is, so that you find a pool that hasn't been over-fished by bigger players.

In Internet marketing terms, what you want to find are hot spot topics that have the following characteristics:

High demand

Many people are interested in searching for this topic and they are keying in various phrases to the search engines that can be mined for traffic and profit.

High Cost-Per-Click (CPC)

Google establishes the CPC for keywords and phrases. Based on that, you can tell when one word or phrase is more profitable than another based on what advertisers are willing to pay a publisher per click of that keyword or phrase.

Low Competition

Since most Internet marketers know that they want a high demand or high CPC to get good niches for profit, they are usually highly competitive too. However, there are still some out there that you can find that are not as competitive and we'll show you how to locate them.

Advertisers Present

You want to also find hot spots that are of interest to affiliate or marketing advertisers. At least 20 advertisers for the hot spot shows it is good to try out.

TWO METHODS TO IDENTIFY THE HOT SPOTS There are two methods to locate the hot spots in Internet marketing topics: brainstorming them or researching them. Brainstorming is not a bad idea, but if you use it, you should also research and analyze your ideas to make sure they are viable.

BRAINSTORMING

Here, you want to start engaging your creativity to find hot spots that you are passionate about that might have some potential to be great niches. One way to start is to just start trying to look at things from the point of view of a consumer. What are the burning issues consumers are trying to solve? These are the things they will be searching online to resolve.

For instance, you can use your own experience to generate some potential questions consumers might have, like:

1. Have I invested my savings wisely?

2. How do I stop a foreclosure?

3. How can I lose weight quickly?

4. Do I need to be on antidepressants?

5. What area in the country has the best job prospects?

Now you begin to see that when people are faced with a question they want an answer to, they aren't going to search for the question, they will actually search for the solution! If you are the marketer, you may be thinking that they will look up weight or foreclosure problems, in actuality, they will be looking for solutions. So, they might type into a search engine:

1. Where to invest money in 2008

2. Foreclosure solutions

3. Weight loss programs

4. Medical advice on depression

5. Job markets in the United States

So, when you are brainstorming keywords or phrases, you can start with a basic question that might be being asked, but always try to find the way it might be searched to by using words like cure, solution, program, and so on.

RESEARCHING YOUR CHOSEN TOPICS

The next method uses the Google Keyword Tool, or something similar (like Overture) that can help you identify 1) other associated keywords or phrase to your niche, and 2) how hot the niche really is.

This tool will help you measure the three of the four criteria that keyword or phrase should meet to see if it is worth developing into a full-blown niche. It is located here:

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal . Once you have a good idea of some potential keywords or phrases you want to research, you just go to the tool, and insert it. It will then generate a list of words or phrases, along with the advertising competition and the monthly approximate search volume for them, for the current month. To see how much the keyword is worth by CPC, you click the drop-down list which states “Show/hide columns.” Then, choose the option to show the estimated average CPC.

This will give you an idea of how competitive and how profitable the keyword or phrases you have brainstormed might be, and also how valuable to you as an Internet marketer the niche might be. Keep doing this for all the keywords or phrases, and try to find some that aren't as competitive, have a high CPC and high search volume (demand).

You can even take keyword phrases generated by the tool and plug those in to see if it comes up with different keyword phrases that are better choices. As you do this process, it will help you to define your target niche better and also give you more ideas on some niches you may start to recognize as you go along this process.

HOW HOT IS IT?

When you have some good choices, you will have a list of choices to investigate further. You still want to check to see if advertisers are interested in doing affiliate marketing offers. You will want to consider other environmental factors that might contribute to it's “hot” factor. You'll want to know how many people are talking about this topic. Is it too controversial to handle? It's not just the Google Keyword analysis that will determine whether this the “hot” topic is a good topic to develop more. You will want to see what else you can find out about this topic to determine if you want to pursue it. For instance, in terms of how many people are talking about it or whether affiliate marketers are interested in it, you will have to do a little further snooping. You can go to your affiliate bank programs, that you've already signed up as a publisher, and find out what affiliates offers are available that might match the niche. Some of these sites are www.clickbank.com or www.cj.com. After you log in, try to find what offers you might be able to put up on your web pages should you decide to target that niche. If you find very few, that this is an indication that advertisers are not that interested in this niche.

Another way to find out who is interested and how much it is being talked about, is to enter the keyword phrase into Google and see how many search results come up. If it is highly competitive, you will get too many results. If there is little interest, you will only get a few results. This will help you determine whether you have either too broad or too narrow a topic to generate the kind of interest you need to make money with it.

Introduction

Let’s start this beginners guide on the TLC diet with a little mental exercise. When you go out, look around you and tell me what you see. I bet you will see an abundance of fast food restaurants and guess what’s in front of them? You guessed it…A never-ending line of people.

Fast food joints are known for serving up a dish of unhealthy food – unhealthy food that people continue to consume. Why? Because they can! People choose fast food because they live a busy life and are under the impression that they can’t go home and cook a healthy meal, because it will take hours to do.

This unhealthy lifestyle leads to obesity.

The health risks of being obese include:

Heart disease
Type 2 diabetes
Osteoarthritis
Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
High blood pressure
Stroke

Reasons People Are Unhealthy

Most work available is white-collar
Children now spend more time playing digital games instead of playing outside
The foods low-income families can afford are unhealthy
The serving sizes of unhealthy drinks have increased
People buy more fast food and prepare fewer meals in their kitchen

This list could go on and on …

There’s an old Chinese proverb that does a good job at explaining why we need to watch what we put in our mouths. “When you’re thirsty, it’s too late to dig a well.” What this is saying is that you should not wait until you have an illness to start a diet, because by then, it may be too late.

The Need For Health In The Modern Age

There are many important reasons as to why you should get in shape today. What “getting in shape” means to me is you have strength, a baseline cardiovascular capacity, muscular endurance and flexibility, which all leads to a healthier life.

Believe it or not, the 21st century conditions could be damaging your health and you don’t even realize it. Let’s have a look at some of these modern-day health conditions being experienced …

Toasted Skin Syndrome

Have you ever heard of this? Have you ever balanced your laptop on your knees for a long period of time? Believe it or not, It can leave you with discolored skin!

The heat is generated by your laptop, it causes a rash that is similar to someone that has huddled to close to a heater in order to stay warm. Mind you, this has nothing to do with dieting or exercise – this is just showing you how our health is being affected in the modern age by technology.

Time Poverty

Oh yes, good old time poverty – so many of us are a victim of this. With family, work, running a home, and trying to take care of everything, we hardly find time to sit down and pause for a nice breath of fresh air. The more we rush, the further we struggle to meet deadlines we have imposed. The result? Our health. We deal with everything from insomnia, stress, depression and poor diet, which leads to obesity and many other health related issues. Many of us are simply doing too much and in return, this is taking a major toll on our health and well-being.

Living in Fear

Many will refer to this as “the 21st century fear.” Here we are, constantly staring at the threat of floods, disease, crime, hurricanes, terrorist attacks, toxic chemicals in food and so much more. We’re constantly focusing on those fears. We have become so worried about the things that “might” happen to the point that we have stopped enjoying life that is taking place in front of us. As you may already know, too much worry isn’t good for your health.

We may not be able to help you with toasted skin syndrome, other than tell you not to place your laptop on your lap for a prolonged time, but we may be able to help you with time poverty. This is where the TLC diet is going to come into play.

You see, in the modern day scenario, everything comes at a price. Our days and nights are filled with hectic schedules, unavoidable deadlines and innumerable hours of stress and excessive workload. With so much already on our plate, we cease to care about the food what we consume at the end of a long tiring day.

Most often, we are too tired to cook a healthy, nutritious meal post work and end up opting for the easier option: fast food and processed items. With the blooming technology, everything is just a click or a phone call away.

As we previously stated, most people settle for a comforting double cheese burger, pizza or fries to hush their roaring stomach every day. Although these food choices offer oodles of contentment and comfort, eventually they bring forth drastic side effects. Overtime, with continuous consumption, unhealthy food choices lead to several modern day ailments, such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension, depression, anxiety, high cholesterol and other related concerns.

Most of these complaints start out small but gradually turn into unavoidable chronic conditions. The best idea is to wake up, take action and prevent such ailments from deteriorating your health and fitness further.

For all those facing similar conditions, this short beginners guide brings a suitable solution to combat most of our modern day problems. It introduces the concept of the TLC Diet or the Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes program.

Are you ready? Let’s get started…

Optimize Your Health With Omega 3 MRR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

Introduction

Firstly welcome to our beginners guide on Omega 3, I just want to say thank you for joining me as we embark on a quick journey of discovery into this somewhat miraculous fatty acid.

You’ve probably been hearing a lot about Omega-3 fatty acids lately – but what exactly are they?

Of course, most people understand that Omega-3s are good for their health, but they don’t know exactly why or how they work.

In this short no-fluff beginners guide to Omega 3, we will be going over what Omega 3 is, how it can optimize yours and your family’s health, how to choose a supplement and much more. Are you ready? Let’s get started…

Chapter 1 – What Is Omega 3 & Why Is It Healthy?

Considered one of the essential fatty acids, Omega 3s are essential to human health.

The problem is our bodies are unable to make them on their own!

So that leaves the food we eat as our main source of Omega 3.

Of course, we can, and most of us should, also take an Omega 3 supplement to ensure that our body has all of the important fatty acids that it needs to build muscles and maintain proper cell growth.

Omega 3s are considered a polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) that is crucial to maintain proper brain function, growth and development.

An important anti-inflammatory, one of Omega 3’s jobs is to help prevent such degenerative diseases as arthritis, cancer, heart disease, and even memory loss.

Of course, Omega 3s also aid in keeping skin taut and smooth, thus playing an important role in keeping us looking younger longer. From warding off wrinkles, to helping to keep coronary arteries clear, Omega 3 fatty acids have been linked to all sorts of health benefits, which we will discuss in detail in the upcoming pages.

First, let’s look at the three main types of Omega 3 fatty acids: EPA, DHA and ALA.

Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) is a very important Omega 3 fatty acid.

New research indicates that EPA can actually prevent a heart attack or stroke. One study even reported that people with low levels of EPA in their body are as much as 47% more likely to suffer a cardiac episode than those with sufficient levels of EPA in their system.

To keep a sufficient amount of EPA in your system, you would need to eat between 400 and 500 grams of cold water fish such as sardines, mackerel, or salmon 2-3 times per week. Few people, unfortunately, can stomach that much deep-sea fish. Even if you could, most experts warn against it since so many of the world’s fish are now contaminated with mercury and other toxins.

So what’s the alternative? Taking 1,000 mg of EPA rich fish oil on a daily basis is considered by most experts to work well at keeping EPA blood levels just as high as eating large amounts of deep sea fish. Keep in mind though, that EPA also needs DHA in order to work properly, so be sure any supplement you buy contains both.

What Is DHA?

Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) is another very important Omega 3 fatty acid needed by the body to achieve optimal health. It is one of the longest chains of PUFA’s found in Omega 3s. It is also essential to good brain function. Nearly one fourth of the brain is made up of DHA and without this important fat, you can suffer from several mental disorders, depression, or even Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)!

In fact, scientific research has demonstrated a correlation between increased DHA levels and decreased incidence of Alzheimer’s Disease. Worse yet, without the right amount of DHA, your brain is unable to tell all of your organs what to do. Your heart can’t beat and your lungs can’t breathe without an order from your brain.

Even if a low DHA level doesn’t cause your body to go into catastrophic breakdown, it can leave you susceptible to a myriad of diseases or illness.

Now that you know how important getting the right amount of DHA is to overall health and wellbeing, you may be wondering what your best source of it is… fish oil.

You can get DHA laden fish oil in one of two ways:

By eating more fatty fish or by taking a DHA supplement. Either way, the important thing to remember is that both EPA and DHA are crucial Omega 3 fatty acids that you must get regularly in order to ward off disease.

Why is ALA Fatty Acids So Important?

Found mainly in dark green, leafy vegetables, flax seed, and walnuts, Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA) can do something other Omega 3 fatty acids can’t: if your body needs them, it can convert ALA into both DHA and EPA. This is a unique and wonderful ability, since our bodies needs these important Omega 3 fatty acids to stay healthy.

Omega 3 fatty acids are the good fats in our healthy diets. They are the fats our body needs to properly function.

They help keep our heart functioning at a healthy rate. Keeps our brains functioning as we age and help infants gain information. Omega acids also help keep our joints functioning.

While our diet recommends we limit our oil and fat consumption, we do need them. Fat and oil help keep our bodies at our peak performance. Fat is what keeps our bodies on the move, this is why it is best to get the healthier versions. The healthy oils provided by fatty acids help keep the fats consumed from turning into heart clogging cholesterol. This is also avoided when you limit your fat intake in your diet.

While adding Omega 3 fatty acids to your diet does have health benefits always discuss with your doctor. They will be able to provide resources for what source works best for your diet.

We have all heard the speech given that we need a healthy diet. Over the decades this became an issue with the invention of snack foods. It became easier to just grab the unhealthy snack foods instead of finding healthier alternatives. This is why the average diet is full of unhealthy fat, salt, and sugar.

Over the decades, we have seen the health problems involved with this diet. Including diabetes, heart attacks, cholesterol issues, hypertension of the heart, obesity. When you are used to an unhealthy diet it gets harder to reverse it properly. This process is much less complicated if you start with small changes and keep them so they become habits. This process can take up to a month of doing the new changes for it to become a habit.

CHAPTER 1 - METABOLISM 101

Before we dig into how we can turn our bodies into a 24 hour fat burning machine, it's helpful to have an understanding of how metabolism works. Welcome to Metabolism 101. Try to pay attention! All About Energy Our bodies are always using energy. We use energy when we run, when we sit behind a computer screen and type, when we do a set of pushups, when we have sex. No matter what we do our body needs to raise up enough energy to perform the function. This is an inescapable fact of life, for better or for worse. We can split the things that our body does that require energy into two broad categories. The first is automatic functions. The second are functions we choose to perform. Some examples of automatic functions include our beating hearts, when our eyes twitch, the working of our livers and kidneys. We don't control any of these, but as we will see later in our Guide dietary and lifestyle choices can certainly affect how much energy we expend on them. The functions we choose to perform include absolutely everything else we do in our daily lives. Walk the dog? Or get up to grab the milk? No matter what we "do", it requires some sort of energy expenditure. All this energy is measured in a unit I'm fairly certain you are familiar with the unit. It's called a calorie. Metabolism is defined as "the caloric sum of both your automatic and voluntary functions that must take place in order for the energy forming process to occur." Metabolism can be broken down into four parts for our purposes here. They are: 1. Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR). This is, by far, the largest part of our metabolism. It counts for over 75% of our daily calorie expenditure. This is where the energy for all of our automatic body functions comes from. Can you see where even small enhancements here can add up to more pounds of fat lost week after week? 2. Thermal Effect of Feeding (TEF). This is the amount of calories we spend on storing, digesting and absorbing food. 3. Thermal Effect of Activity (TEA). The TEA is the area we can exert the most influence on. It's the amount of calories we spend on activities like cardio and doing strength training. For some of us it can amount to up to 30% of our caloric expenditure a day. 4. Adaptive Thermogenisis (AT). We can think of this as our bodies "adaptive" metabolism. It adjusts up and down based on changes in our environment. Things as varied as the temperature we are operating in to our mental state can affect AT. This is an area that can be greatly influenced to our fat burning benefit using the secrets you are about to learn in our Guide! These four pillars of metabolism are usually the enemies of the multitude of us who are trying to look our best and be healthy. We're going to do our best to make them

CHAPTER 2 - DIET COMES FIRST

When it comes to mastering your metabolism it should come as no surprise that diet comes first. It comes second and third too! Making smart changes to your diet is the quickest way to start shifting your metabolic gears in favor of burning fat fast. Follow these tips and no matter where your metabolism is now, it will quickly adjust to where you'd like it to be. Stay at a Caloric Deficit.

The first pillar of a successful diet plan is to be sure that you're not overeating calories. Now before you get nervous, this doesn't involve you having to do much math at all. Instead we're borrowing an old trick used by bodybuilding and fitness enthusiasts. Take your weight, in pounds, and multiply it by 10. This is the area you want to keep your calorie consumption in. If you weigh 220lbs that means you will eat 2200 calories a day. 175lbs? 1750 calories a day. It doesn't get much simpler than that. Never Let Yourself Go Hungry.

Now this may come as a shock, but to keep your body's metabolism burning, it is very important to eat often. There's no quicker way to cause your metabolism to shut down then to start starving yourself. Your body shifts into a low metabolic state when you go for longer periods of time without eating as a survival mechanism. Unless you use some fairly complicated dietary strategies when this happens you will retain fat. You may even pack more on as you lose muscle! Your goal is going to be to eat five or six meals a day, but to still eat in the area of your caloric number we determined above. By never getting hungry you are also setting the mental stage to be able to maintain our fat loss program. Believe me, experience has shown personally and with successful clients that if you avoid the feeling of restriction day in and day out you are much more likely to stick with any diet. This one included. The net caloric deficit will make sure you are losing weight. Your metabolism being high from eating five or six meals a day will aid the fight to be fit by taking off extra fat all day everyday. Eat The Same Meals Often.

Traffic And Authority With Plr Giveaway Rights Ebook

Genesis

Genesis has always been known simply as “the beginning” and considering the solid information you’re about to receive and how it will change your business for the better, I found it fitting to use that term in place of any proper introduction heading.

In this free report, you’re going to discover the exact steps to take to drive targeted traffic to your offers while building your list and authority in whatever niche you decide to settle down in. It doesn’t matter the niche, because this content is so simple it can be used in any niche. The only thing that you might have a problem with is finding PLR (or private label rights) material for it. If that happens though, you’ll just have to create your own content, but on the plus side, you’ve also identified a new niche market and profit stream for you to implement within your business. Right?

This information is pretty basic stuff. It’s all about how to create traffic and authority in your business by leveraging private label rights material or at the very least, content you already have created in your business.

It isn’t new. It isn’t bright, or shiny. It’s probably the most repetitive thing you could do in your business. But by doing it could mean the difference in a couple of hundred hits a month and a couple of thousand hits to your landing page, blog, or offer.

I would even say regardless of what your current source of traffic is right now, I would still implement this process as soon as possible because…

It’s evergreen traffic
It won’t get removed if you lose an account (FB Ads anyone?)
It doesn’t rely on a bunch of backlinks or SEO
It can be easily outsourced to someone cheap.
It gives your VA or employee something to do during their down time. ;)

There’s problem a thousand more reasons I could come up with to implement this strategy, but that would lengthen the book and well, I want to make this as short and sweet as possible so you can read it in a few minutes and start implementing within hours.

I’m just cool like that I guess. ;)

So that’s enough of my ramblings, on to the next part.

During this part, I’ll be covering the various licenses you’ll often encounter when dealing with private label rights materials. I’ll also give kind of an overview of the method you’ll be using and go more in depth towards the end of this book.

PLR – Short for Private Label Rights. PLR allows you to do “whatever you want” with the product. Typically, each product will come with it's own license so be sure to read the licenses for each of your new PLR products.

MRR – Short for Master Resell Rights. MRR gives you the ability to sell a product without any edits at all. Most vendors that sell a product with MRR are usually doing so for the “branding” that comes with it, with this in mind, MRR are usually not able to edited or anything else, they're sold “as-is”. Having MRR allows you to sell other users both MRR and RR – depending on the license.

RR – Short for Resell Rights. Resell rights is the child sized version of MRR. RR basically allows YOU to sell the product, but you're unable to pass on resell rights to your customers. This is spelled one of two ways, “Resell Rights” or “Resale Rights”, both meaning the same.

Giveaway Rights – Giveaway rights are usually for branding purposes as well, just like MRR and RR. Giveaway rights are usually listed inside of the Ebook, the usual licenses state that they can give it away to build a list, as a free download or even syndicated it across their channels. Typically, the users of Giveaway Rights use it for list building, to send it to their list and bonuses for product sales.

Overview

What you’ll be doing is actually quite simple to follow along with. You’ll be creating fresh and new content out of existing ones you have and syndicating to countless places on the net to provide a spider web of traffic and backlinks to your website. Doing this does a few things such as…

Introduction

Webinars have become one of the most popular ways to promote a business in the past few years. They are so effective because they provide an immersiveness that other forums of media do not and attendees get real-time information delivered straight to them, not to mention the interactivity of question-and-answer sessions. According to the Adobe Software blog, webinars rank in the top three of the content delivery methods out there.

If you are reading this book and have no idea what the word ‘webinar’ actually means, it is a method of communicating to a group via a specific platform, with the ability to share information with them like voice, text, slides, multimedia and more. Webinar is a play off of the word ‘seminar’ because that’s what a webinar basically is – a seminar for the web.

In order to use a webinar to promote your business, you are going to need to know the secrets to a successful webinar. This book is your guide to putting on a successful webinar, including emphasis on the most important concepts. According to SlideShare, the elements that engage 70% of people the most are interesting content and a passionate speaker.

This book will help you become a passionate and engaging speaker, as well as develop your idea so that you can host the best webinar possible. In addition, we will be covering other concepts that are vital to webinars, such as the equipment that you will need, mastering Q&A’s, working with co-organizers and hiring staff and much more.

This book is divided into three sections. The first section will cover what you need to do before your webinar starts. The second is information you will need to start your webinar and things that happen during. Finally, the third section will cover what happens after your webinar is over and how you can begin preparing for the next one.

Each section will explore in-depth the topics of webinars and at the end you will be able to prepare and hold a webinar with confidence. Here are just a few of the benefits that you will get out of this book.

• Understanding what the available platforms are for conducting webinars and how much they cost, as well as information on how to use them. These programs are complex and often have a great
deal of features. You will be able to understand how these programs work with this book.

• You will also learn how to choose the topic for discussion during your webinar. Choosing a topic that is interesting and engaging is very important because it a significant number of attendees go to webinars simply because of the topic.

You are going to need to let people know about your webinar and most people are pretty lost the first time that they try to get attendees. You will have some tools for promoting your webinar when you finish this book. • You will be able to improve your current webinars by making them more interesting and engaging, including the way that you present slides and using alternative forms of multimedia to make your webinar amazing.

• Learn how to increase your attendees by partnering up with other speakers and each of you giving information to the audience. A webinar with one expert is great, but a webinar with multiple experts can’t be missed.

• Everything you need to know about monetizing your webinar, including how to charge admission for your webinars and how to host webinars for free but make money by creating other revenue streams. There are many people making very good money with their webinars and you can do the same.

The whole point of free webinars is to point consumers towards the alternative revenue streams and then convince them to take immediate action.

• You’ll also learn what it takes to get people to come back to your future webinars. If you don’t have return attendees, then you will be starting over every single webinar you do. This book contains tips on how to make them want to sign up for your next webinar and then how you can actually convince them to show up.

• In addition, you will learn how you can create a business from your archived webinars including tips for placing them on YouTube and bundling them up into a course and selling it separately (via a webinar of course).

• Finally, you will learn things that will help you immensely if this is your first time doing a webinar. For example, do you know which day or days of the week is best for a webinar? Do you know how long most attendees prefer them to be? If you are going to charge for your webinar do you know what price range will make people attend and at what point you will price yourself out of business? If you have struggled with webinars in the past, then this book will help you get back on track and make the kind of money that you have always wanted to from webinars.

Chapter 1: The Tools of the Trade

In order to run a successful webinar, you are going to need some tools. There are certain pieces of hardware and software that are required to host a successful webinar and understanding what they are, and how to use them properly is going to allow you to become a better webinar host.

Your Internet Connection

Let’s start with your internet connection. This is definitely an important aspect of webinars because your data is going to be streamed to dozens or hundreds of people and you can’t have that data dropping out at inconvenient points. It isn’t good for your business.

So make sure that your internet connection is super-fast, say around 10 mbps minimum, and that you use a wired connection. Don’t connect with Wi-Fi because it is much more unstable than a LAN connection. This means that you are going to have to do the webinar in your home or office, somewhere that you have access to the model and can plug in a LAN cable that allows you to directly connect.

If you have to, you can use Wi-Fi, but just keep in mind that your data may not get through to all of your attendees every time. Most of the time, people will let you know that they didn’t hear you or catch the last concept you were talking about, but if it happens too often too a multitude of people attending your webinar, you will find very few that want to return for a future session.

Your Computer

Your computer is the next thing that we are going to discuss because it is just as important as your platform or the type of internet connection you have. In fact, these three things tie for first place if you were going to try to prioritize the equipment that you’ll need for a webinar.

Because your computer will be running multiple programs at once, you will need to have a processer with multiple cores and a good CPU speed. You will also need to have plenty of RAM and a good soundcard that allows sound to travel over the internet and still be perfectly clear to the people that are hearing it.

Office Fitness Personal Use Ebook

Introduction

It can be tough to stay fit and healthy when you’re working a desk job. It doesn’t matter if you’re spending 8 to 10 hours a day at an office, or if you’re working from home. Staying in shape when you work at a desk can be quite a challenge. I’m sure you’ve heard about the dangers of a sedentary lifestyle. We weren’t designed to sit for hours at a time and some health care professionals now refer to sitting as the new smoking. Sitting for long periods of time has been associated with obesity and metabolic syndrome, both of which bring with them a slew of health concerns including increased risks for heart disease and stroke. It’s just not a natural state for a species that evolved for tens of thousands of years as hunters and gatherers.

We’re not designed to sit all day. Because of that staying healthy if you sit in an office all day can be a challenge. It doesn’t matter if you’re working in an office, or from a desk at home. If you spend the majority of your time sitting down, you need to take a proactive approach. After all, there’s only so much you can do outside of working hours. It’s important to do what you can while you’re at work.

Throughout this guide, we'll take a look at diet, exercise, and mindset. By combining these three approaches, you have the best chance of seeing results and sticking to a healthy lifestyle.

The healthier and the more active you can be at work, the less you have to worry about it in your time off. That means you have more time to have fun and enjoy with your loved ones in the evenings and on the weekend. Does this mean you can do and eat whatever you want outside of the office? Of course not. But it does give you more options and a bit of leeway to indulge in a treat or spend a Saturday binge watching Netflix.

Does this mean you need to spend all your working hours standing, walking around, or doing chair exercises? Of course not. The goal is to strive for balance. Small changes and healthy habits can make a big difference in how you feel.

Let’s dive right in by talking about your diet and how you can make sure you eat healthy at the office.

Sticking To A Healthy Diet At The Office

What you eat has a big impact on how well you feel, how fit you are, and even how much you will get done at work. When you eat a big lunch of food that's not that good for you (think pigging out on pizza or the Chinese buffet down the road), makes you come back ready to take a nap in the early afternoon instead of finishing up a big project. And those pick-me-up, sugary snacks you get out of the vending machine only make you feel better for a little while before you crash from your sugar high. In other words, eating food that's good for you and sticking to a healthy diet is important. But working in an office, or even from your desk at home doesn't make it easy to eat well. In this chapter, we'll discuss sticking to a healthy diet at the office. Let's start by looking at the importance of eating healthy and the challenges it brings in a little more detail.

The Importance Of Eating Healthy

There are a lot of great reasons for eating healthy. By choosing the right foods, you greatly improve your chances of staying healthy and keeping your weight in check. When it comes to your job, eating healthy even helps you perform better. You have more focus and energy when you fuel your body with healthy fare instead of junk.

If you want to stay on top of your game and have the energy to make it through even the longest of work days, you have to choose carefully what you put on your plate and in your cup. Eating healthy, well-balanced meals is the goal here, particularly at lunchtime and of course breakfast.

The Challenges Of Eating Healthy At The Office

Sadly most offices and break rooms are stuffed with unhealthy food options. You have the vending machines, the box of donuts on the break table that your boss brought in, and of course lots of takeout and fast food options for lunch. Hunting down healthy food in and around the office can be a bit of a challenge.

We already talked about some of the challenges you face in an office environment. There’s the temptation of unhealthy food brought in to share like that box of donuts, birthday cake, or the pizza party. The temptation of having free junk food is bad enough on a good day. When you're stressed, bored, or tired and looking for a way to make it through your workday it gets worse. It's hard to be good and hold out until you can cook a healthy dinner at home when the vending machine full of chips, cookies, and chocolate beckons. You know the sugar or salt will give you a quick burst of energy. Or how about a quick trip to the coffee cart for a sugar and caffeine filled treat. Both are short term solutions that will do more harm than good in the long run. But they are also tempting and close by.

Just being aware of these temptations will help you maneuver around them. But it doesn’t have to stop there. I have some tips for you that make eating healthy and avoiding the office junk food trap easier.

Tips For Eating Healthy At Your Desk

Your best policy when it comes to sticking to a healthy diet at work and in general is to be prepared. That’s what most of these tips have in common. It’s much easier to resist temptation if you’ve either just eaten a healthy and delicious meal, or you know you have an option within reach that’s good for you.

Start with a healthy and filling breakfast. If eating early in the morning doesn’t sound appealing and you usually just run on a cup of coffee, pack yourself a healthy snack that you can eat at your desk when you are

ready for your first meal. Eating something good for breakfast instead of skipping it will keep you from making bad food choices at lunch. Eggs or a whole grain dish like oatmeal are both good breakfast choices that will keep you full until lunch time.

Next, let’s talk about lunch. We’ve all had heavy, greasy, fast-food type lunches and we’ve all had days when we’ve overindulged. You know you don’t feel good by the time you make it back to your desk. You feel sluggish all afternoon and it’s hard to get much of anything done. A light and healthy lunch is a much better option. If you are lucky and have healthy options at the restaurants around work, that’s great. But for most of us, that can be a little hard and possibly expensive. Packing a lunch is often your best bet. If you make it yourself, you know exactly what goes into your food and thus into your body. Packing a lunch may seem like a bit of a chore at first, but it won’t take you long to make it part of your getting-ready routine. Salads, wraps, sandwiches, and even leftovers from dinner make great healthy lunch options. In a pinch, just grab some sandwich meat, cheese, nuts and fruit.

If you do have to eat out for lunch, make a choice of where to go and what to order early in the day, before you get too hungry and desperate. It’s easy to look up menus online and won’t take you long to come up with a few healthy lunch choices you can pick on those days when you’re not bringing your lunch.

With a filling breakfast and a healthy lunch under your belt, it should be pretty easy to make it until you get home for dinner. If you’re a snacker, eating only three healthy meals per day can be a bit of a challenge. The cold hard truth though is that you don’t need snacks once you make it past the toddler years. Eating no more than three meals should be just fine most days and it allows your insulin levels to drop naturally. Make it a goal to get out of the habit of snacking all day, even if it is on healthy

That being said, you should keep a small stash of healthy emergency food at your desk. You never know when you may be stuck at the office longer than expected, or you oversleep and have to head out without your healthy breakfast. Those are the days when you’ll be most tempted to hit the vending machine, or order in some Chinese takeout. Having a few healthy options including water, energy bars, fruit, nuts and whatever other healthy, shelf-stable fare you can think of will be priceless to help you stay on track.

Speaking of water, as you get into this healthy eating habit, drinking plenty of water throughout the day will help keep you hydrated, full, and on track with your healthy diet. Instead of grabbing a candy bar when you feel that afternoon slump, go get a glass of water or a cup of tea or coffee. When your stomach grumbles before it's time for your next meal, fill it with a cup of hot herbal tea. It works. Give it a try.

We'll talk about mindset in a lot more detail in chapter three. For now, start to think of food as fuel for your body. You want to perform well at work and just feel better in general. In order for that to happen, you have to pick the right fuel for your body. Make it a habit of thinking about that with every meal or snack you have. If it isn't good fuel for your body, skip it.

I mentioned this briefly at the beginning of this chapter, but it’s worth repeating. Plan ahead as much as you can and get into the habit of sticking to that plan. Pack your meals if you know you’ll be away from home, so you have full control over what you eat. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure when it comes to eating junk and becoming overweight. Or you may say an ounce of preparation prevents a pound or two from creeping on the scale.

Last but not least let's get real for a minute. Sticking to a healthy diet is something you should aim for most of the time, the key phrase being "most of the time". Don't beat yourself up over the occasional piece of birthday cake at the office, or indulging at the office Christmas party. Life is a balance and eating well is part of that. Indulge every now and then, but aim to eat healthy most of the time.

Just make sure it's "every now and then", not every day, or multiple times per week. I'm not giving you permission to pig out all the time. You know

better than that. Eat well, choose your food wisely, and you'll see great improvements in your health, well-being, and even productivity at work. Now that we’ve talked about diet, let’s take a look at what you can do about working out at the office.

Working Exercise Into Your Workday

Yes, you can exercise throughout your workday and even get a bit of a workout in right at your desk. Will it replace the gym? Of course not. What the tips and exercises I will share with you in this chapter will do is help you move a little more, ease the tension in your body, get the blood moving for better mental focus, and help you feel better and stay healthy.

Of course, a little workout during lunch will help on those days when you can’t make it to the gym or go for that morning run. But let’s not put the cart before the horse. Why do we need to worry about exercise in the first place? We are told that it’s important to move around more and work at least 60 minutes of physical activity into our busy days, but what are the actual benefits of working out?

Exercise is good for you. Our bodies were designed to help us move around. Evolutionally speaking they are designed for hours and hours of walking to gather food and hunt. They are not designed to sit in an office chair, car, or the couch. Moving around for at least an hour a day helps us offset some of the damage we’re doing to ourselves by spending too much time sitting down. It’s not good for our back and squishes our organs. Exercise also helps us burn some of the extra calories we're taking in through the food we eat and the drinks we drink. Take that pumpkin spice latte with extra whipped cream you treated yourself to this morning. Your body may not need all those extra calories and you need to burn off some of that sugar. Moving around more at the office will help you do at least some of that.

Where traffic is coming from

How your traffic is converting

Where your traffic is converting the best

What types of copywriting techniques convert better

When you know these things, you can take much of the guesswork out of your marketing efforts. You will be able to make more informed decisions on things like:

What type of content to add to your website and social media

When to add it to get the most exposure

How to spend your marketing and advertising budget

Where you should focus more effort to get more targeted traffic and leads

What types of info products to create

What types of copywriting techniques and images your target audience responds to

What types of offers your target market responds best to

So basically, understanding your online stats will make you a more productive, effective entrepreneur! It’s as simple as that!

Bet you are ready to get started on figuring out how to gather and analyze this information so that you can stop guessing. Bet you also want to know what tools to use and what stats to look at. All of the tools available, whether free or paid, offer a lot of different numbers and data. You may have tried to use some of them before and simply been baffled by the sheer amount of data. Well, starting today, you will know what to look for and how to interpret it to make the wisest decisions possible for your growing business.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a free tool that many people don’t utilize. Oh, they might look at it occasionally, but with all the numbers and other data, it can be overwhelming. Not to mention that Google keeps adding new functionality to it. That’s great! But, it can add to the learning curve and confusion. This leads to many people only looking at the total number of sessions and number of page views in Google Analytics. But there is so much more you can get from this free tool!

Before we dive in to look at some of the more important metrics individually, it’s worth mentioning a general rule to keep in mind. The Google Analytics Audience tab defaults to 30 days, so when you first look at your dashboard, you are going to see how you have been retaining and converting traffic for the last 30 days only. This is definitely a good thing to keep an eye on, especially if you’ve been trying some new tactics or running ads in that timeframe.

However, you should also look at the longer-term conversion and retention rates. These will show you how your site is growing and changing over a longer period of time, which is extremely beneficial. It can demystify where you should be spending your time to improve traffic and the behavior of that traffic once you get it.

There are three main areas that you want to track in Google Analytics:

• Acquisition shows you how you obtain visitors, how many you obtain and where they come from.

• Behavior tells you how visitors behave once they land on your site, including what pages they most often visit and how long they stay on your site.

• Conversion illuminates if, when and where visitors take desired action on your site.

Once you get more comfortable with Google Analytics, there will be other reports and information you will want to seek out there, but to get started, this is the most important data. For now, let's look at what metrics you should be paying the most attention to in Google Analytics and why.

Acquisition

You can waste a great deal of time and resources by ignoring where your traffic is coming from. The first thing to do to improve your marketing efforts is to go to the Acquisition Report Overview. Here you will see a summary that shows you the Acquisition, Behavior, and Conversion (ABC) data for your top traffic sources. Here you will learn what your best traffic sources are and where the majority of new and repeat visitors are coming from, such as social media, referrals, organic search and any email campaigns This information shows you where you should continue doing what you are doing and where you can improve.

Based on this knowledge, for example, you might change your social media strategy for one or more social media channels because very little of your traffic is coming from that source. Or maybe you see a lot of your traffic is coming from quality backlinks. That’s great, so you know to continue putting time and resources into building relationships with other internet marketers or bloggers.

To see more details about each traffic source, use the Channels section. Here you will find data on how many visitors were new vs. returning, the bounce rate and how long visitors stay once they arrive on your site. From this, you can see if your ratio is too high in one area and not in another. For example, if your new visitor ratio is consistently very high, it means that your content isn't what your market is looking for, which means once they come to your site once, they don't return. This is invaluable information—knowing this lets you know you need to get a better understanding of what content your potential audience needs.

Tip: A good rule of thumb for the percentage of new visitors you want is between 15-20%.

Go to All Traffic to see each traffic channel's details. This will show you which of your content people are responding to the most so that you can provide more of it.

Behavior

Now that you understand where, how and how many users you've gotten onto your site, it's time to look at what they do there. You can find out how helpful they find your content by looking at these metrics. After all, it's not going to help you much if you are getting a lot of traffic but can't keep users on your site because you aren't offering what they need. To consider your users' behavior, you want to look at entrances, exit percentage, and bounce rate.

Introduction

Let’s talk about headlines. It may not be something you think about on a regular basis, but we are surrounded by headlines. In an age where the amount of information that’s thrown at us 24/7 is quickly becoming overwhelming, it’s headlines that grab our attention and pull us in. It’s also why you have to get good at writing killer headlines if you want your audience to sit up and pay attention to what you have to say. In other words, getting good at writing headlines will help you in every aspect of your business.

Headlines help you grow your reach. It’s a good headline on a blog post or your favorite social media channel that will entice people to share your content far and wide. That’s what helps you reach your prospects and grow your audience.

Headlines on your opt-in pages entice new readers to sign up for your list. Getting better at crafting said headlines will help you gain subscribers more quickly. It will also help you get more traffic to your site. If you want people to read your content, they have to click on the blog post first.

The same goes for social media. With thousands of other posts flowing through the content stream, you have to grab your audience’s attention and entice them to click through to what you’ve written or recorded.

Last but not least there are sales pages. You need a killer headline there that hooks the reader and pulls them in. Without it, you might just lose them in those all-important first few seconds and any chance of closing the sale is out the window.

In other words, headlines are very important. Getting good and then better and better at crafting killer headlines will help you in all of these areas:

• More Reach

• More Traffic

• More Subscribers

• More Sales

• More Dollars

Ready to dive in and learn more about writing killer headlines that get clicked? Let’s start with those blog post titles I mentioned earlier. In chapter two we take a look at headlines on sales and opt-in pages. After that, we'll dive into email subject lines, which are yet another type of headline, before wrapping it up with a look at social media. I'll give you plenty of copywriting tips and ideas along the way and even include some simple plug and play templates that get you up and running quickly. While this report is divided into four distinct chapters, many of the ideas I share will apply across chapters. If you like an idea for an email subject line but are working on a blog post title, feel free to use it there. In the end, they are all just headlines and fulfill more or less the same function – to hook the reader and get their attention.

Writing Killer Blog Post Titles

Let’s start with something we all work on regularly – blog posts. You have to get the content out here to share your expertise, get the traffic, and start to build your funnel. Yet when we craft our blog posts, the title is often a bit of an afterthought. If you’re into SEO (Search Engine Optimization), you may make an effort to include your keyword in the title, and then hit publish.

It always surprises me how many people publish blog post titles that I would consider a working title. It's something that gives you a pretty good idea of what the blog post is about while you write it, but it doesn't have the polished look and attention-grabbing quality of a killer blog post title. Your job with the title is to "sell" the blog post and convince people to click through and read the content of the post. Let's take a closer look at why it is important to put some time and effort into your titles.

Why Good Blog Post Titles Are Important

We often put a lot of time and effort into our blog posts. We create amazing content that will wow our blog readers. We craft content that's designed to show our expertise and earn the trust of the people that read them. It is designed to convince them to sign up for our lists or get them closer to becoming a customer. It's there so it can be shared and help us expand our reach. The problem is that none of that will happen if we don’t spend some time crafting a good blog post title.

People, our potential audience included, are bombarded with information all day long. Consider how many pieces of content you come across on a given day that you could potentially read. It's thousands of them. There is way more information out there than we can possibly consume. But a few pieces grab our attention enough that we click through and start to ready.

Guess what grabs our attention and makes us click? It’s the blog post title.

If you can’t get their attention and convince them to click through to your blog, it doesn’t matter how stellar your content is. They’ll never see it if you don’t convince them through your blog post title to click on it. Think about all the different places your blog post title shows up. It’s not just at the beginning of your post. It’s also what shows up on the main page of your blog and throughout the side bar and anywhere else you have links back to your most recent or most popular content displaying. Your title will also show up when your content is shared on social media, referenced in other blogs etc. In other words, it shows up quite a bit.

Craft Your Titles For Both Readers And Search Engines

Blog post titles often serve multiple purposes. They grab your readers' attention while also giving them a good idea of what the content in the blog post is about. At the same time, they are one of the most important parts of search engine optimization. That means that you need to work in your main keyword or key phrase in addition to making it interesting for your readers. It's a balancing act. You want to craft titles that work well for both your readers and the search engines. With a little practice, you can get good at accomplishing both.

We’re going to take a look at how you go about crafting killer blog post titles and what you have to keep in mind to do that. To make it easy to get started, I share a few blog post title templates you can use at the end.

Headlines “Sell” The Click

You may not realize it, but you have to “sell” your potential readers on the idea of clicking through to your blog post. If that doesn’t happen, it doesn’t matter how well written your content is, or well the CTA (call to action) in your content converts. If you can’t convince them to click through to the post, the battle is lost. That’s why it’s important to put a lot of thought and effort into your blog post titles. They don’t need Killer Headlines any less than your sales or opt-in pages.

Do Your Research First

Start by doing your homework. You have to have a pretty good idea of what your audience is looking for and what will get their attention. You should also learn as much as you can about copywriting. It’s a craft and a skill that can be learned and it’s something you’ll get better at with practice. Learn as much as you can, start practicing right away and you’ll get there as fast as possible.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. The most important thing is taking action and giving it a try. Try out a new headline idea and see if it works. Even if it doesn’t you’ll learn from the experience.
