Chapter 6: Is Home School Better For Kids?

Sometimes, parents choose to let their kids attend home school rather than letting them attend the normal school. But then, there are some parents who wonder if home schooling is really good for kids or not. Know the reasons behind with the following ideas in this chapter.

Home Schooling: Is It A Good Choice?

Parents may choose to teach their children for several reasons. Some of these reasons include the fact that they like to spend more bonding time with their kids, while establishing a more favorable relationship between them. A lot of parents may choose home schooling for their kids when they are unable to carry on with the standard curriculum.

Actually, the option for home schooling depends on your child’s unique situation. For instance, children with ADHD are more likely to experience writing trouble. With this, they may find problems in dealing with their written tasks since they face difficulties with their planning. This option should enable them to do their tasks at their own disposal. Parents of ADHD children attested that the option has eased them from stress. They customize lessons depending on the learning capabilities of their children. Since schools may overload their minds with unneeded information, parents who choose to home school their kids could ensure that they teach their child in a way through which he/she can easily learn.

Furthermore, parents become apprehensive about schools’ learning environment with their kids learning wrong or bad behavior from other students. On the other hand, when home schooled, kids might not just become better behaved the way their parents like, but also acquire the necessary education.

Experts suggest several good reasons as to why parents should instruct their own children. With home schooling, parents will no longer need to aid their kids with tiresome homework as well as additional assignments. The tedious schedule doesn’t enable them to be the kids they are and participate and enjoy in other exciting activities. With home schooling, parents will be able to teach their kids with focused content, while avoiding excessively tiring work.

To make the approach more effective, hiring an educational consultant may be a good idea. This consultant will help you out when dealing with the curriculum for home schooling your child. She will monitor your child’s progress. There are times when families could have mixed meetings and scheduled play dates for the kids in the office of the consultant.

Moreover, you may also check some online information provided by the local authorities, helping you with successful home schooling for your child.

Home schooling could become a fulfilling and enjoyable experience with the right methods and assistance at hand. Don’t forget to mix parent’s love and care to the ingredients to make it more successful.

Chapter 9: Buying What You Need, Not What You Want

Synopsis

One of the best ways to save money is buying what you need, not what you want. Through distinguishing your needs from your wants, you will be able to purchase items in a smart way. Unfortunately, not all know the difference between their needs and wants. That is the reason why some end up purchasing their wants rather than their needs. So, before you shop, the first thing you should do is to find out your needs and wants.

More often than not, students tend to buy their wants instead of their needs. It is because at the first place, they don’t know the difference between them. Needs are something that you require for you to stay alive. Some of these are foods and clothing. Other than these, transportation and shelter are also considered to be one’s needs. But, these belong to the slightly less needs. The reason behind it is that anyone can stay alive and survive in this without shelter or transportation as long as they are eating every day.

How to Know What You Need and What You Want

For students, some of their needs may include books, clothing, foods, and a shelter. Everything else is already considered a want. Wants are those things that can offer you pleasure or entertainment like gadgets. Although you also need mobile devices for communication and a laptop or computer for assisting you for homeworks, these are not really considered as needs. It is because there are various sources that can offer you information like books. You can also communicate by trying the traditional way of communicating with others.

There are other things that are considered as wants. One of these is to have a car. There are several means of transportation you can consider. You can consider using your bicycle if you want to avoid gas expenses. Or, if you really want to drive your car, always ask if there are discounts for students. Although not all can offer you discounts, but majority of gas stations may give you the chance to save money.
Once you have determined what you need or what you want, you will be able to enjoy savings because this can offer you the chance to reduce your expense from buying your wants. So, if you don’t want to pay a huge debt, consider knowing the difference between wants and needs first.

Chapter 4: How Allowing and Surrender Works

Synopsis

In life, there are various decisions you have to make. Sometimes, you failed to get what you really want because of various circumstances. Say for instance, if your love ones passed away, you have to allow it to happen because it’s God’s choice. Whether you like it or not, you can’t do anything to bring them back. So, what you need to do is to accept the reality and move on with your life.

How Does It Work

Allowing life to happen and accepting the destiny of things are quite too hard to do. To allow things in life, you have to set goals. These goals can change you. Depending on your goals, you can accomplish projects, find yourself, get what you need and want and a lot more. It is true that goals give purposes and directions in life.

If things don’t go as you have planned, you need to accept it and continue what you are doing. In setting goals, you always need to be patient and trust in God’s timing. There are some goals that take a few years before you achieve it. Whether you let go, surrender or give up, make sure that you keep the objective on your lists.

What will happen if you surrender? If you give up or surrender, you will learn various things. Life will never be the end of the world if you decided to surrender. Once you surrender, you have a chance to do things that are perfect for you. You can also get out from a miserable life you are experiencing right now.

Say for instance, if you surrender chasing your ideal man, you have a chance to meet and entertain other people. Instead of loving someone who loves another, try to find someone who can love you in return. With your experiences, you will truly value your relationship and learn how to handle your future partner.

Usually, the basic tracking method is available in various email marketing services. For instance, Aweber gives you a good tracking tool to measure the success of your email marketing campaign so you don’t need to use any third-party marketing software to track your campaign.

It is recommended that you don’t track your email marketing campaign when you are still in the earlier stage of your list building journey. For instance, if you still have about 20 subscribers in your list, it’s not important for you to track your campaign. Instead, it is more important for you to add more subscribers to your list.

Also, you don’t need to be too obsessed with the tracking part of your list building campaign. While tracking can give you valuable real-time data, it doesn’t determine the success or failure of your email marketing campaign. Tracking will only give you relevant data. The success of your campaign will depend on the way you keep your subscribers interested in your emails.

A Note About Split Testing

If you want to track your email marketing performance effectively, you should do it with split testing. Split testing can help you to determine which variant of your campaign gives you the best result. You simply run two campaigns at the same time, and you will see which one is better.

Sales Funnel Authority MRR Ebook

Likewise, on Google AdWords, you can target people based on the searches they perform. Adverts on Google AdWords appear on the SERPs – Search Engine Results Pages. This means that you can place your ads for watches on the search ‘Buy Watches Online’. It’s safe to assume that people searching that term will have an interest in buying watches!

The other great thing about PPC is that you can set your ‘CPC’ – Cost Per Click. This means you choose a maximum amount that you’re willing to pay for each visitor who clicks your ad and visits your site. The more you pay, the more your ad will be seen – but if you choose the right keywords then you can get visitors for a surprisingly small amount of money.

Now, if you can work out how many of your visitors eventually become paying customers and you can work out how much each of those sales means for you in profits, then you can calculate the amount that you can pay for each visitor and still be guaranteed a profit! This is the step before your sales funnel – and it’s equally as important.

Watching Metrics

Also very important is to look at your reports and metrics. Track which adverts are bringing customers to you site, look at which products are selling best and even look at what times of day are the most active for you. Most importantly – look at where your best customers are coming from. This is important because you can then invest more time and more money into what is working and start to move away from what isn’t working. This is where Google Analytics and Goal Tracking comes in particularly useful.

Another way you can do this is by using split testing. Split testing means creating two versions of a web page (such as your squeeze page) and then introducing subtle differences to each version. You then see which of your two versions performs best and therefore decide whether or not to keep or abandon those changes. There are tools that let you do this, such as Optimizely.

Building True Fans

Finally, try to think of your objectives in terms of building true fans. One of the most important things you can do is to really get people behind your business and to feel almost as though they know you and as though they’re a friend. When you have a true fan, they will not only be most likely to buy from you but they will also be likely to share your content, spread the word and help you grow your business.

This is why it is worthwhile spending time in one-on-one chats, in answering emails and comments and in generally engaging with your audience. Meanwhile, don’t think about them in terms of how you can sell to them – just think about how you can provide value and provide a good, free service. Some of these people will never buy from you but that’s not the point. The ones that will, will make all that hard work worthwhile. If you create something really good and deliver a really great service, then you’ll be rewarded.

Inbound Selling Personal Use Ebook

Why Inbound?

Inbound marketing is simply the way we do business most of the time in this age of Social Media and Google. Let’s start with a little definition. Inbound sales refer to sales and marketing you do where the customers find you and then get in touch in one way or another to learn more about what you and your business do. The end goal is of course to turn these prospects into paying customers – ideally repeat customers.

Inbound sales isn’t a completely new idea. Back in the day it used to be called word of mouth advertising. Before the internet, this left us with a fairly limited reach and slow growth. To grow faster and get more leads into the sales funnel, businesses would rely on outbound marketing like most traditional advertising channels to gain their customers. The internet and content marketing have changed the game. Today inbound marketing is a much better play and frankly a better way to attract customers. No one likes to be cold called and sold to. But we are all on Facebook and Google each day actively searching for information, products, and solutions. The goal with inbound marketing is to make sure you and your business are there when those searches are made.

In other words, instead of spending thousands of dollars in advertising both online and offline, or paying for direct mailers, you’re creating and sharing lots of content in a variety of formats so your future clients can find you.

In the introduction we briefly talked about inbound and outbound phone calls to explain the difference between inbound and outbound sales. Let’s look at that in a little more detail and how it translates into online sales. !Outbound calls are calls where you, the sales person, call a list of numbers, hoping to come across a potential customer. Often you don’t know much about the person you’re calling and you have no way to qualify if they’d make a good prospect before making the call. And of course you have no idea if the person you’re calling is even remotely interested in what you have to offer right now.

Let’s say you work for a car dealership and are making outbound calls to try to sell a new car. You have no idea if the people you’re calling are in the market for a new car right now. That makes finding the right prospect and closing the sale a pretty tough proposition.

An inbound call on the other hand is when the customer calls you. He or she has learned about you through various advertising methods or word of mouth and is calling you when they are ready for what you have to offer. Going back to the car dealership example, this is when a potential customer calls you with questions about a particular car, or wanting to set up a test drive. Here the chances of making a sale are much higher.

The Takeaway Understand your audience's needs better than anyone else, and play to them in your videos. In addition, don't mistake "longer" for "better" -- if your message can be expressed in just a few seconds, don't drag out the length of your video unnecessarily. 4. Intel: "Meet the Makers" Series Intel's five-part "Meet the Makers" series looks more like the inspirational, uplifting stories you see on the news rather than videos created by a brand. Each video profiles a person around the world who uses Intel products to create amazing experiences and new technology. In this video, for example, a 13-year-old named Shubham Banerjee tells the story of how he used Intel's technology to prototype and build an affordable braille printer to help more people who are blind read. The common denominator? The folks in these videos use technology to help people and make the world a better and more interesting place. By providing viewers with an inspirational look at how technology is changing our experiences, they were able to drum up interest in a way that a traditional, product-centric advertisement couldn't. The Takeaway Think in terms of macro and micro in your video marketing. Evaluate the macro effect that your product or service is having on your industry or the world as a whole, and then hone in on someone's micro experience to deliver a relatable and compelling story.

5. Google Earth: "Homeward Bound" This emotional account of Saroo Brierley's journey to trace back his original roots after a tragic separation from his family is nothing short of powerful. By inserting their product into a story of loss, love, and restoration, Google Earth was successful in positioning its capabilities as life-changing -- but it doesn’t feel too showy. The video makes you feel that Google Earth isn't out to make money, but rather, they're out to build a service to improve the lives of their users. The Takeaway Again, appeal to emotion. While you don't want to abuse this approach, emotion is an incredibly powerful driver that can influence the way people act and respond to your product or service.

6. Stream an Online Sale The Funky Fairy is an online store based in the United Kingdom that sells personalized, embroidered gifts for kids. Owner Vicki Stewart decided to do a sale via Facebook Live to liquidate the personalized items with kids’ names in her overstock inventory. Here’s the process: Plan and Have a Sale The Funky Fairy did three sales over four days. Each was a stand-alone Facebook Live that ran about 20 minutes. The first sale went so well, Vicki did a second (the first and second each had about 7,000 views) and then a third (which got about 10,000 views). During the Live, Vicki chatted as she showed the names and available sale items and people would comment to request the names they wanted. If

customers wanted an item she didn’t have on sale, they were directed to the special order page. The Funky Fairy closed out their overstock by showcasing available items on a Facebook Live sale. To make the most of it, do a sale on Live as a limited-time or limited-inventory sale or series. Whether the reason is summer, weekend, or closeout, always give a credible purpose. Alternatively if you’re a consultant without physical stock and you want to get more of a certain type of client on your roster, offer a limited number of coaching slots for people in that industry. Another option is to limit a sale to only people who are commenting during the Live broadcast. You can then make a different offer available to those who are watching the replay. Engage With Viewers As much as possible, interact and respond to comments while you’re live. If that isn’t an option, be sure to go back to comment after the fact to make sure you responded to everyone and met all the needs of your audience. To avoid being overwhelmed, the best solution is to have a moderator help you out. The moderator doesn’t even need to be with you. Ask a team member to respond to the comments during your Live, and take note of the comments that will need your immediate attention.

How To Start A Business PLR Ebook

What are some things you need to do to get started?

Research is the most important thing to do. First, ask the right questions. This is all part of the research process. You may research questions you need to have answers for if you do not know what questions to ask. It is okay to search on

Google or Bing and quickly search for important questions to ask when starting a business.

There are many resources on the Internet or your local library that you can use to get started. Make certain your sources are reliable however. If you are reading an article and you can sense the information is totally outrageous, then you can come to a quick conclusion that it is probably not the right source to use.

When reading any article, however, make a note of the different points it makes. Whatever is clear and understandable is fine, but whatever you do not understand, take that point and do more research on it. See if what was written was also said by somewhere else. Sometimes having a few people say the same or similar things can give you an indication the information may be something worth keeping in mind.

Another thing you will need to get started is legal advice. Never assume that what you learned where you work or what you think is okay is legal. Start off on the right foot and do business according to the law. You want to avoid being that person who did something illegal and now has a reputation as such plastered all over the World Wide Web.
What are the legal matters you must know in order to get started?

It is impossible to know everything about the law. Speak to a lawyer if they give free consultations and ask them what you should know. Ethics play a role here too. There are many gray areas which are prevalent in ethics. For instance, what do you tell a customer if you promised them a shipment by a certain date even though you already knew there is a possibility it cannot be fulfilled? You already promised it, but you know it may not happen.

If you say you are going to do something, you need to do it. That is the bottom line. Give your customers quality products in a timely manner. Do not always rush to get the job done. Sometimes there are moments when you have to rush, but don't let it happen if it is not necessary. For the most part, the only time you will need to rush is when the customer requests it.

How Will You Deliver Your Newsletter?

If you're familiar with setting up a membership site through WordPress or by any other method, then by all means deliver it that way. If not, you can use an autoresponder such as Get Response to send your newsletter out in PDF format. Be aware that attachments can sometimes result in deliverablity issues, so perhaps the best alternative of all is this:

Upload your newsletter to Amazon S3 and get the link. Then send that link out automatically to customers when they purchase, and then again each month for each new issue.

You're not going to start out offering your newsletter. Instead, it's much easier to offer a free gift in exchange for their email address. The free gift could be a free issue, a related report, a video or anything you choose that will attract your ideal reader.

You can use private label rights to create your report - again, make sure it's high quality. Your free gift will be sending a message to your prospect of whether or not they should trust you to deliver great information to them. If your freebie isn't very good, they'll assume your newsletter isn't very good, either.

Keep your free gift simple - for example, a 12 page report that solves a problem for them. Make sure it contains actionable information they can use immediately.
Two Ways To Offer Your Freebie

There is of course the traditional method - set up a squeeze page and ask for their email address in exchange for your free gift.

The second method tends to get a higher quality of opt-ins and oftentimes MORE opt-ins, and it works like this: Divide your free gift into two parts. The first part might be the title page, the table of contents and the first chapter. Make sure your

table of contents is full of enticing benefits and creates lots of curiosity. The second portion is the rest of your report.

Let them download the first part without opting in. This way nearly everyone who hits your landing page will download your report.

Then let them know if they want the rest of the report, they can either pay for it or get it free in exchange for their email address. Put a good price on it, like $17, and you'll get tons of opt-ins because if you've set this up correctly, everyone will want the $17 report for free.
