9d. Presentation For Profits.

So there we have it. Rule number one. Allow yourself to charge what you really feel your product is worth by varying and even coming up with new, and mixed delivery methods, because lets face it, you might write the most amazing product ever in your field of expertise, but no ones going to know that until they buy it, and if your presentation is dry, dated, overused and devalued to the point of everyone and their mother giving them away for free, your sales will show that.

Alright, one more quick point, and another idea to throw out to you before we move on from this 'what is an info product' area. If you cast your mind back to the product creation section, I was talking about the questions I get about my concepts folder and why it's so full to the point of years worth of ideas. The 'I can't think of what to sell question' is usually followed by the 'create an info product' response after they announce they have a zero budget.

"Yeah, but all the big guys say the way to make a load of cash is to have lots of recurring incomes instead of having to make new sales all the time". That's fine, so why not make it a membership site? Or a premium paid newsletter of some sort? There's nothing wrong with doing that at all. It's usually a lot more work stretching over a longer period for a lower price than single sale, but know that this is an option. Don't think you're chained to single sale high-ticket items. Lets not dwell, there's nothing more to discuss here, but keep it in mind.

9e. Versatility At Your Fingertips (Literally)

Alright, now we've got the delivery methods and a little pricing on the table, lets see how versatile info products are. We've got premium online publications, we've got membership sites, single sale high ticket items (like this one), short viral publications that are given away free, or published to other peoples lists and so on. All info products.

You've probably already noticed that we're concentrating on this in general terms with regard to selling straight up, high ticket, long reports and courses, and I'm doing this for two reasons. First up, we want to get you earning some cash with real products that are going to bring you in some good money. A solid long-term product. And secondly, because once you've created a big wad of a course, you can dissect it and create all sorts of different types of products from that list, and more. This lets me give you facts now, without having to bore you to death with twenty of these containing repeated information.

9f. Up-sell Done Right

There is however, one specific type of info product that I'd like to talk to you about right now, and that’s up-sell products. If you didn't know before, these are products that are sold at a relatively low price to entice the customer to go out and buy a higher priced follow-up item. Hands up who's ever brought an info product that's an up-sell *Raises hand*. Hands up who's ever purchased an info product about something that totally sucked, didn't give the information that it promised because it turned out to be an up-sell for another product that again, promises to reveal the info you asked for, only for ten times the price? *Raises hand again*.

See the sad fact here is that practically every single up-sell product that I've bought before has totally sucked. Back in the old days, I used to buy info products about online marketing, but unfortunately, due to inexperience back then, as we all do, I made a few mistakes. Now of course, there's rarely any way to tell that what you're buying is an upsell until you've bought it, but when you get around to reading or listening to it, you're sorely disappointed, because what you've just totally wasted your money on is a glorified advert. That would annoy you just a tad right?

In fact, I saw a friend of mine announce that his product is not an upsell for something on his sales letter the other day. So I mailed him, and asked him, hey, why did you write that? Here's what he replied; "Nowadays, when people see quality lower priced products, they're worried customers are going to think because of the low price, they're going to be sold onto something at a higher price, and the product is just an excuse for an advert. Understandably so from some of crap I've seen flying about too."

See, the number one problem with this is, up-sell works. And it works well, but not as you may know it or have experienced through dodgy info products. I say again, up-sell works, and not only does it work but it can be done correctly, and ethically too, without making false promises or producing a crap product.

If you've created a high priced product, and you don't have a huge amount of resources, such as a big list of your own, or you haven't built up a list of contacts that will get you out some recommendations, this is the time to use an up-sell product, but if you're going to do it, you need to do it properly, and I can't emphasize this enough. Your up-sell product has to be a product in itself. Don't make promises on the sales letter that don't ring true to the actual product, as this type of false promise with no intention of actually selling a real product is defined by the BBB as bait selling, and can have serious ramifications for your business.

So lets see, if I were going to create an up-sell product for this site, I'd take two or three sections out of the whole system, and deliver on two full subjects, and make a product out of it selling the tactics it teaches. At the end of the product, I'd make a point of pointing out that what I was just talking about can be plugged into a real profitable fully fledged sales system, and point them to my high priced product.

Section Four: Publishing and Promoting Your Video

Give yourself a pat on the back. You have planned, produced and edited your own video. Now it's /me to publish it to the Internet and promote it. Promo/on is important because there are thousands of videos published to the web every day. We'll look at some techniques to draw your target market to your videos and help you build your audience.

Uploading Video

Uploading videos is a simple process. Most video sharing sites have a similar method but we will look at YouTube as an example as it is the most popular site. Once you are logged into your account, look for the buGon marked ' ' Upload.' '

AXer clicking the buGon, you're given the choice to ''select files for upload '' or ''drag-and-drop '' video files. If you choose to select files, you'll be able to navigate to the video on your opera/ng system, locate it and click it for uploading. Alterna/vely, you can drag your video from another window and drop it onto the upload page. If you're comfortable with the process, you can upload mul/ple videos at the same /me. For this example, we'll look at a single upload.

As the file uploads, you'll see a bar measuring its progress. At this /me you'll be able to enter the Title, Descrip/on and Tags. You can also choose Category, Sharing Op/ons and Privacy Settings.

Number Two Search Engine

Why should you care about the Descrip/on and Tags? Few people realize that YouTube is the number two search engine on the Internet behind Google itself. That means many people are going directly to YouTube to find out informa/on they want.

By filling out a complete Description and adding relevant Tags, you are giving YouTube the information it needs to put your video high in the search results. Otherwise, your video will be invisible to people that can benefit from your insight and experience.

Add keywords your potential audience would use to look for your video. For example, if your video is about basic Swedish phrases for travelers, you could title it, ' 'Easy to Learn Basic Swedish Phrases for Travelers.' ' In the description you could say, '' This video will teach you basic Swedish phrases for travelers. These phrases will benefit you if you will be traveling to Sweden and want a few handy phrases that will help you get around easier and faster. You'll start your trip on a positive note, feel more confident dealing with local shops and enjoy your trip more.' '

In this case, we've used the keywords ''basic Swedish phrases '' in both the Title and the Description. Similarly, you want to add Tags that include the same phrases and keywords, as well as any corollary keywords you think might help people find your video.

As shown above, your best strategy for creating titles is to describe exactly what the video is about. Avoid Internet slang like ''LOL!' ' It turns off a certain percentage of your audience and doesn't do much to compel viewership. At the same /me, resist the urge to title your videos in catalog fashion like, ' 'Joe's Plumbing Video #1. '' While this makes it easier for you to keep track of your videos, it does nothing to get viewers excited about watching.

Custom Thumbnails

YouTube is key to video marketing. The site gets 4 billion video views a DAY, and receives preferential treatment in Google search engine results pages (SERPs).

However, there are some things about it that are annoying. For example, thumbnails for ''suggested videos '' line the sidebar next to your videos. They also populate the video screen after your video ends. All these thumbnails are distracting for your viewers. It is too easy for someone to click away to another video that is not yours.

You can counteract these thumbnails with crea/ve thinking: Create your own! Here's how to do it: Extend your video length and display your own images that link to other videos you have on your channel.

Create your own images and then add annota/ons on top. Annota/ons are cap/ons provided by YouTube you can type on top of your video and make linkable. You can use ' ' picture-in-picture ' ' videos or sta/c images. At the end of your regular video, add the image. Many YouTubers split the screen into quarters, and create a different thumbnail/link to several different videos.

Add a good call to ac/on like ' ' don't forget to like, comment and subscribe. ' ' You might want to add the call to ac/on before the thumbnails. Test both methods to determine which one works best.

Additional Ideas

Consider adding a secondary channel for ' ' behind-the-scenes ' ' videos and other videos that don't fit into your main channel. By displaying them on a separate channel, the main channel has videos with consistent themes and branding, helping you add more viewers—they know what to expect.

Here is another /p. Tag each video with either your own channel name or a tag that is common to a series of videos. For example, if you are a business with a number of videos dealing with the same topic, create a tag that is unique to those videos.

That will separate them from the other videos on your channel in the YouTube algorithms. Similarly tagged videos are more likely to appear in the sidebar of the Google user-interface. By filling the side bar with your own videos, you'll gain more views, and prevent competitors from distracting your viewers to their videos. Make sure to add a call to action. Also, don't open a new tab or window.

Video Thumbnail In Search Results

One reason video is so effective is that it appears in the Google search results with a video thumbnail. Entries in the search engine results pages with video thumbnails have a 40 percent higher click-through rate than a normal link. In addition, many people won't watch the video. But they are s/ll interested in your offering--they just want the phone number or address so they can call or visit. So put the phone number right in the title.

Brand your YouTube channel with a consistent look and feel. Go to Fiverr.com for inexpensive graphic design help. Consistently create quality content on a regular basis because YouTube likes consistency and uses it to determine ranking.

It will be very difficult to plow on without the support of people whom you can trust. The best people are those whom you can inspire.
Inspiring People to Help You Reach Your Goals

Reaching your goal is not as difficult as many things. You can reach your goal if you follow some of the common techniques from real life. Let me show you one very simple example of "word of mouth" marketing technique. Let's say you have to buy a T.V what you do? Ask your friends what TV is the best? Get reviews online? Get expert advice? Right? Yes we do all this before buying or taking action. This is really very simple marketing technique of involving more and more people to help you promote your business. If they like the product or service they will surly promote it to others without any charge as they want to give the best to their friends and family.

Take an example of MLM it's totally based on "word of mouth" marketing. One person joins the network and he invites others to join and then other invite more people and so on. This way, the company reaches its target easily without much marketing and concentrating on their quality of the product.

You too can follow the same method, join more and more clubs, more and more events and spread your network. The more networks of people you have, more easily you can reach your goals. Indirectly you help them and they help you. It's a kind of a win-win situation. You make a friend that's it which is fun and it helps you to reach your goal.

Can anything be better than this?

So start joining clubs, groups, events, parties, tours and make friends and groups and reach your goals easily without any errors.

Chapter 10: Don?t Stop with Just One Opportunity

Summary

The most successful individuals in the world have been unstoppable.

Don't Stop with Just One Opportunity

I can claim and say that 99% of people don't get satisfied with what they have. Like a person who has a motorcycle will want a car, those who are have a car want a luxury car, those who are having luxury car wants to have a private jet and so on. This is the nature of humans and that's why we are so much successful as we always have dreams that keep the life going on.

So when we have so many dreams do you think it can be completed with just one successful opportunity or business? When we want everything why don't we try to grab more and more opportunities which give us everything we need in life?

The fact is most worlds' richest people have multiple stream of income from multiple businesses. They started with one business and now have multiple ventures to their names. We think that we invested xyz amount and we got good returns, so now everything is fine; but the fact is we always need more and for that we need to have more and more business opportunities.

Burger King started with a single restaurant now it has franchisees all over the world. This is the power of keeping looking for opportunities. If you stop at any point you are not going to fulfill the dreams of becoming rich and famous. Diversification is a very important aspect of getting at where you want to reach.

133. log regularly for better traffic.

Making blog posts on a regular basis will keep people tuned in to your page. It will increase traffic. After all, they will not regularly check a page that rarely makes blog posts.

134. Imagine that social media is like a story that you tell, and the characters in the story are your customers.

135. Do not always just talk about your company. Talk about the people that subscribe to you.

If you speak about you subscribers and customers as well, they will feel that they are important and that they are involved. This will improve your relationship with them.

136. Use polls so you learn more about your customers.

Polls let you know the preferences of your subscribers. This will give you an idea about your next marketing plans.

137. Try other smaller scale social media sites for localized marketing.

If there is a local social media site in the area of your targeted market niche, consider opening an account there as well. This is to help you reach to more locals.

138. Offer a mobile check-in feature if it is compatible with your business.

It is now getting popular that businesses allow their customers to order and/or check-in for services and/or products online. Offer this feature to open up to more customers.

139. Always stay updated about current events.

Current events may give you ideas about the future of your market. Stay updated so you are not left behind in market changes.

140. Check the latest news in your field of business.

You need to check for current events but you need to focus more on news that involve your market niche. You can also make posts about these news events as long as you do not side with any group.

The homepage of yahoo is one of the great places to find some of the juiciest and latest news. They also often feature business news.

142. Regularly read magazines that are related to your field.

Magazines can give you a lot of ideas. For example, if your business is about fashion, then you should read a lot of fashion magazines.

Research is not an easy task, especially if it involves marketing and business. If you do not have the extra time for it, you can hire people to do it for you.

Try going out of your comfort zones once in a while. Think of new exciting ways to make your announcements and posts so that your subscribers are not bored.

Sometimes, you just really run out of a fresh new content. While recycling is discouraged, sometimes it is the only thing that could save you. But if you must do this, make sure that you make it look new and different.

146. Ask your customers and subscribers what they want to see next.

IF you have no idea what your subscribers might like to see next, you can simplify things by asking them straight ahead. In fact, customers like it when you ask questions like: “What do you want to see next?” or “Wh at do you want us to make for you next?”

147. Ask your affiliates what they want you to do next.

Do not just ask your customers and subscribers. You should not forget about your affiliates, advocates, and influencers as well. Ask them.

You might think that you have already done almost everything. But check your profile again. You never know what you might discover that is missing. Tips on writing your comments and posts effectively

149. Come up with a good title.

Sometimes, subscribers will not even try to read if they see that a post is lengthy. So what should you do? Incite their interest by starting your post with a catchy and intriguing title.

150. Always use a catchy headline.

If a title is inappropriate, then simply start the sentence with a catchy and interesting first sentence.

151. Use the inverted triangle method of writing.

In article writing, this means that you should write your articles by including all the important information in the beginning of the article. The concentration of information is higher in the beginning and gets fewer as the article ends.

Chapter 3: Developing Healthy Boundaries

Setting healthy boundaries in your life can often be fraught with difficulties because you're dealing with so many different personalites - those of your coworkers, family members, spouses and friends. All of these people have different expectatons of you and some may cross healthy boundaries.

If you haven't set certain boundaries for yourself, stress, bad feelings, breakup of a relatonship and anger may occur when you change. It's important that you know how to set boundaries for yourself and which are most important to you, but it's also important to know how to deal with the reactons of others to the boundaries you've set.

You have rights that need to be respected - to be able to say "No," when you want to and to expect courtesy from others. It's your right to let the phone go to voicemail, ignore email for awhile or not answer a queston if you don't want to. Think about your current boundaries. Are you saying "Yes," when you'd rather say no - or are you using anger or nagging to get your way rather than expectng others to recognize and respect your boundaries?

If you're experiencing anger and disrespect from others not adhering to your boundaries, you may need to rethink how you communicate with others. Keep in mind that boundaries aren't meant to punish others - but are set in place for your own protecton.

Setting boundaries works best when you don't shout or nag, but remain calm and collected when you carry out compliance to the boundaries you've set. Speaking your mind and sePng limits for others requires you to make yourself the main priority and not be afraid of the consequences of protectng yourself.

How to Develop and Set Healthy Boundaries

Developing and sePng healthy boundaries help you lead a very healthy life. It's a skill that may not have been learned in childhood or even far into your adult life. It may take a professional coach or counselor to help you along the path of boundary-building if it's a new and scary concept for you.

First, you've got to know and understand yourself and your own boundaries. Basically, any situation which makes you feel uncomfortable or that you regret later on requires that you reset - and follow through with - your current boundaries.

If you periodically find yourself becoming "soft" on your boundaries and it's making a difference in how much you're enjoying your life and feeling that you garner respect from others - it's tme to rethink your boundaries and set ones which you're comfortable with.

It may help you to write down some boundaries which you feel are "non-negotable" and work from those. Be clear when you describe what it would take to cross that boundary. Also, think about how you'll handle the situaton if that boundary is crossed so there will be no queston or arguing about the subject.

For example, if you have a coworker who crosses your boundary of touching, it's tme to set the boundary and clarify it to yourself and the coworker. A pat on the back may be acceptable, but hugging may not. In some instances, all touching might be off limits with this person and/or others.

Knowing your personal limits on what you can tolerate - or not - is an important part of how you'll develop and set boundaries you can live with. Consider the following tps when developing and sePng boundaries and how you'll cope with reactons from others.

Know thyself - When you're tuned in to your feelings about boundaries, you'll soon discover exactly what's bothering you about certain situatons.

What are you resentful about - or what makes you uncomfortable about an issue? The more you know yourself and what makes you feel as you do, the better able you'll be to set the boundaries which will be most important to you.

Ponder your past - What, if anything, in your past has led to feelings that your boundary has been broken? Perhaps you weren't respected as a child or in a job after you became an adult. If you learned how to deal with it by accepting the behavior, you likely feel anger or resentment now. Write down all you can remember about what may have happened in your past to make your boundaries weak and unacceptable.

Ponder your present situations - Are your relatonships healthy with spouse, family and friends? If not, which situatons may need new boundaries which demand respect and that will protect your physical and emotonal well-being? Ignoring your needs can keep you drained and might eventually affect your health.

Make yourself the main priority - Your energy, health and peace of mind must come first or you won't be able to effectvely help and deal with others. When you practce self-care, you're giving yourself the opportunity to be the best spouse, mom, coworker or friend you can be. If you're not taking care of yourself, you'll have certain cues such as lack of energy, anger and mistrust of others.

Know that you deserve to have boundaries - Give yourself the permission you need to set and enforce your personal boundaries. There's no need to feel guilty about enforcing boundaries. You have every right to the selfrespect you deserve and every right to demand that others give you the same respect.

Be firm and direct with those who cross your boundaries - Some people will welcome your newly set boundaries and see it as a good thing for you. Others will rebel, get their feelings hurt and you may possibly run the risk of losing a friendship, marriage or cause rifts at work or between family members. As long as you're firm and direct about your needs, you are in the "right" and others should respect that.

Learn to be assertive - When it comes to your healthy boundaries, you may have to push the "assertiveness" button more than you ever have before. After you've communicated what your boundaries are, be assertive in protecting those boundaries. People can be like children - once you let them get away with a little bit, they try your patience more. Communicate with the trespassing person in an assertive manner.

Developing and sePng appropriate boundaries will protect your self-esteem and keep you from expending time and energy on people and things which ultimately drain you and keep you angry and frustrated.

Advanced Visualization Techniques

The following are several advanced creative visualization techniques that are useful to individuals who are familiar and comfortable with the enAre visualizaAon process. As always, these techniques are suggesAons that you may tailor to fit your own preferences.

A Glass of Water

Some people, especially those who visualize before sleep, will keep a glass of water on their nightstand or next to their beds. Upon awakening in the morning, they will drink this glass of water. This act reminds them that they are open to the universe and are able to receive what is sent their way. While certainly not a requirement, the galls of water technique provides a symbolic mnemonic that keeps the visualizer's eye on the prize.

Is What You Want Really What You Believe You Need?

Many people who visualize feel that if a certain visualized objecAve is not achieved it is because the desired object didn't jibe with that individual's personal beliefs. In other words, if you try and obtain something that is not consistent with your moral beliefs you will not be able to get it. Visualizing bad or evil outcomes fall squarely into this category. The universe seems unwilling to help foster negaAve energy. In fact, some visualizers believe that if you try and visualize a negaAve outcome for someone else, that desired negaAvity will actually rebound back on you.

It Is Polite to Say Thank You

GraAtude and contentment are important aspects of creaAve visualizaAon. When you are visualizing an outcome, especially when you are bringing it into your present reality, it is important to feel a sense of thankfulness. After all, you are asking for, and working towards, a personal goal. The benefit if this goal will be yours alone. It stands to reason that any visualization of this goal being achieved should be accompanied by appropriate emotional responses.

Takeaways for This Section

Using a glass of water to symbolize receptivity is useful when visualizing a goal;

Avoid visualizing negative outcomes and results;

Gratitude and contentment are important components of any successful visualization.

Many people use the process of creative visualization for personal ends. Often this involves material objects. Now make no mistake, there is nothing wrong with material objects or desiring certain objects in your life. However, creatve visualizaton is capable of manifestng much more in your life than a new TV, phone or automobile.

When used properly, creatve visualizaton can literally work miracles. You see, often when we believe in something strongly enough that belief can move mountains. This is the real power of creatve visualizaton. The belief in a certain outcome can literally alter behavior, emotonal response and even physical abilites.

In the 1980's a man by the name of Morris Goodman was involved in a plane crash that left him completely paralyzed and unable to breathe without a ventlator. His doctor's prognosis was bleak. His family was informed that it was unlikely that he would ever breathe on his own again, let alone walk. Prior to the plane crash, Goodman was a very successful insurance salesman who regularly practced creatve visualizaton.

While he was in the hospital, Goodman was able to communicate with family and medical staff by blinking his eyes. He told them that he fully intended on walking out of the hospital on his own two feet. The medical staff dismissed this as completely impossible.

Everyday Goodman visualized himself breathing on his own and walking on his own. In great detail he visualized the route he would take when leaving the hospital, the people he would pass and the amazed look on their faces. HE devoted himself completely to this objectve.

One day, Goodman said that he had a great urge to breathe on his own. He steeled himself and with effort he began breathing on his own. From that point on, the progress of his recovery was amazing. He regained full use of his limbs and a short Ame later he did indeed walk out of the hospital under his own power.

Morris Goodman became known as "The Miracle Man". He conAnued his successful career in insurance sales. He also became a highly sought after moAvaAonal speaker. He often ends his presentaAon by saying to the audience that a "person becomes what they think about".

Morris Goodman is not an anomaly. There are countless people out there in the world, just like you, who have harnessed the power of creaAve visualizaAon to achieve personal goals. These goals range from weight loss, to addicAon recovery and more. The point is that when creaAve visualizaAon is used on a regular basis and with a posiAve abtude and willingness to act then nothing is impossible. The power of the human mind is an amazing thing. All that it takes to uAlize that power is a willingness to believe and receive.

Free Stuff

Incentives online are a good way to get subscribers, but offline freebies can also be a great incentive. For example, a local gym might allow you to pass out free bottles of water that have been re-labeled with your marketing material that have your URL on them.

Yes, it will cost you a bit of money to buy these incentives, but if you’re in a highly targeted area and you buy in bulk, they shouldn’t cost you all that much compared to the cost of acquisition for your typical email subscriber. Here are some ideas of free items you could give out:

Pens

Bottles of water

Magnets

Stickers

Just be sure to tailor the items you give out to your target market, as well as to the location in which you’re handing them out. (For example, hand out water bottles at gyms or the beach, and hand out pens at schools, libraries, and office complexes.)

Free Sources

There are actually places you can advertise for free if you know where to look. Sure, some of them may not be as targeted as you might hope. However, the fact that they are free means you don’t have to worry about this, as your only expense will be a flyer or business card (which you should already have for use with some other methods) or a little time.

Local Saver Papers

Most locales have a saver paper that is full of local ads and coupons. This could be called something like:

The Thrifty Nickel

The Thrifty Saver

The Budget Saver

You get the idea. These local papers can be a goldmine of free or very low cost ads, and if your product even remotely has mass appeal, they can be a great source of free leads. This is especially true if you have a great squeeze page and offer.

Online Classified Ads

Sites like Craigslist can be a good fit, especially if your product can fit into one of their categories and you can keep from having your ad marked as spam by users.

Be sure to include something like “free report” in your title so that people don’t feel misled by your ad. This will draw more negative attention to you. Don’t give people a reason to report you.

You can try putting your ad into “free” under the “ for sale” section if you don’t find that your niche fits elsewhere.

If you’d like the offline version of this, simply place ads in your local newspaper.

Bookstores

You’ll need to get permission for this one. Otherwise, you could end up getting banned from your local bookstore, which is no fun for anyone.

But you can get postcard-sized or bookmark-sized ads printed that you can slip inside books that relate to your target market. Just slip the ad inside the front cover of the book. Not only will the eventual buyer see your ad, but potentially dozens of browsers as well.

Hotels

If you have a product that has mass appeal, hotels and motels can be a great source of subscribers. This is especially true if your product would appeal to travelers.

The best place to locate your ad is inside the nightstand drawer or on the desk inside each room, however you’ll definitely need permission for this from the hotel’s manager.

You could also slip ads under the door or leave them on the counter in the lobby. You should also get permission for this, but I’ve noticed a lot of people don’t bother.

Restrooms

This is also for products that have wide appeal, however you could also target establishments that might cater to your target market. For example, if you target young women, restrooms in clothing stores and shopping malls might be a good fit.

To make use of restrooms, simply leave a handful of your marketing material on the counter, ideally a good distance away from the sinks so it isn’t destroyed by water.

Business Cards

Never overlook the power of a simple business card. It may seem old-fashioned, but a business card can be an incredibly powerful marketing tool and it can work more often than you think.

How many times have you met someone new, or even talked to someone you haven’t seen in years, and they asked what you do for a living? If you’re a fairly social person, this probably happens now and then. If not, you could always start a conversation with random people you meet and ask what they do, which will almost always get them to ask you in return.

Boom! Business card!

Simply mention you sell your fitness DVD (or whatever else) and hand them a business card. Remind them that if they aren’t interested, you’d be very grateful if they’d pass your business card onto anyone they know who might be. You never know when you might meet someone who is interested themselves or might even know multiple people who would be!

As a bonus, business cards are handy for placing here and there. You can pin one on bulletin boards, leave one on bathroom counters, slip them into books, and even put stacks on counters anywhere you might find someone who is interested.

Section Four: The Sales Pitch

To effectvely sell your products and services via webinars, engagement is key! Think about each element you are using to make your pitch and ask if your audience is geQng involved with your material. Are they bored? Do they feel it doesn't apply to them? Is it engaging? Is it excitng?

Think of it this way: If you had to condense your entire webinar to a 30 second pitch, what would you say? This exercise helps you focus your message and what you want your audience to take away.

Make sure your main presenter is a good speaker. Webinars share more with traditional film and TV than you think. People are used to a certain level of professionalism and clear presentation. You don't have to be a TV anchor or infomercial pitch man, but don't use a low energy, mumbling personality as your webinar leader.

Use clear, simple, active, colorful images that communicate your ideas.

Start with your end goal. What are you selling?

What does your prospect need to believe so they buy what you are pitching? What concept do they need to understand and accept to buy?

Position your product as the solution.

Don't just pitch like a machine saying, ' 'Buy! Buy! Buy!' ' It does not work. Provide value beforehand, and show the prospect why they should accept your ideas and solutions.

Ideally, you want to do as much marketing and selling upfront before the webinar itself as possible. You'll get much better sales results if you do.

Start the Webinar

Be energetic and enthusiastic. To sell , you need to use emotion. Start on time. Welcome attendees. Turn off all software. Make sure you have water, coffee, lemonade or whatever makes you refreshed and happy.

Tell them to grab paper to take notes. Give them a glimpse of how their lives will change from the informaPon.

Tell them to stay on to the end so they can get a special bonus or gio.

Make a ' 'Big Promise.' ' What is the single big benefit they will get from the webinar. In one sentence, what will they get or what skills will they learn? What pain will you address.

Use stories to tell them where you were before you found this informaPon. Tell them how you changed, and what your life was like aOerward. This is called future pacing. Your stories should be simple. You don't need to write a novel —simply use fast, short stories.

Explain why they should use your product. Then show why they should they listen to you. Give your credibility and experience. YOU are the expert, or your webinar leader is the expert. Tell the audience why you or your webinar leader is an expert and why they should listen and believe.

Share your personal story. This is where you can use words like ''imagine.' ' Say things like '' Imagine what your life will be like when you get these results as well.' ' What is the REAL benefit people get? They get freedom, Pme for family, financial independence, travel, etc. Show how your webinar removes the pain they are experiencing.

Provide visual social proof like screenshots or comments from current users. Show visual proof in all kinds of forms. Be creaPve.

Next explain why they should take acPon now. Remind them they don't want to wait anymore. Start getting them geared to taking acPon now. Show how in your industry, NOW is the Pme. Lay out the factors that are influencing your field. Here is why your soluPon is the one--show how they will grow with your soluPon FAST.

Deliver content that meets your Big Promise. Give them real valuable content that shows how to get the benefits you said you could deliver. Do not push junk. Provide real value, and over deliver on what you said you could do. Do not be stressed or nervous. If you feel nervous, refocus on your webinar a8endees.

This should be your ' ' guiding star ' ' for all of your webinar acPviPes and markePng. FOCUS ONTHE CUSTOMER. What does your target market want? What pain are they experiencing? Why are you the guru? What soluPons do you offer?

Once you've delivered your core content, now is the Pme to sell. You should have already delivered on what you promised, so they now believe you and are presold on your soluPon and that you are the person that can deliver it.

Present your product, service or soluPon. Realize they will believe you and go along with your pitch if they were already sold on your Big Promise. They now believe they should take the acPon you have been suggested. Explain the features and benefits of your product.

If you have them, offer bonuses to build value in the offer. Add in price jusP'ficaP'on by comparing your soluPon to what they would pay if they hired professionals on their own. For example, you might say, ' ' If you hired an offline markePng consultant to help get traffic to your videos, you'd pay $5000 per month at a minimum, and that's IF they will take you as a client. ' ' Show how your product is way lower.

6. Affiliate Program Management Part 2

Ok so we've had a good look at aspects relating to the selecting of percentages, levels and whether or not to run an affiliate program. Right now, we're going to jump ahead a little bit, and start talking about how to actually manage those affiliates once you have them. The most important factors that we're going to address will be related to keeping your affiliates promoting, keeping them loyal, promotion spurts using offers, and at the same time, take a look at some of the biggest mistakes I still see people making every day whilst running their affiliate program.

6b. Big Mistake Number One - Recycling

First up, lets look at how many people manage their affiliates. Here's the situation that I come across most. Person A sets up their website, their product and sales system, and integrates an affiliate program. They go ahead, launch the product, and have their affiliates promote for them. That's all very well, in fact there’s nothing wrong with this until you consider what happens when this person goes on and creates a second product.

What you'll likely see is they'll create the product, put up the sales letter and sales system and go about things the same way as they did with their first product. The problem is many marketers don't seem to utilize the affiliates they gathered through the previous product in the promotion of their new product. What a waste. All that promotion and affiliate gathering, and you're just going to throw it all away by starting all over again when you come up with your next product. People say to me, well that’s common sense. Sure, but how many are actually doing it?

This is definitely a big no no. For affiliates being such a great part of online marketing, if you do have several products, you'll want to remember all your affiliates. I wouldn't expect you to get a list of subscribers from one website, then throw them aside and not mail them when your next site launches. The same goes for affiliates. Utilize this powerful tool. There's several ways of doing this of course, you may want to send a mail to your affiliates and let them know about this new promotion opportunity. Your best bet however is to keep all affiliates in the one system for all your websites, and hit them with introductory offers every single time you launch a new product.

Now I know some of you may not have the budget or software to do this, and if you're doing it manually it can take some time. If you're running affiliate promotions though, you'll need to figure out a way of doing this effectively, even if it's just a manual import of all previous affiliates into a second affiliate system, and a mailing that tells them their account is already open, and ready to go, along with an ad they can use, complete with their promotion URL to get them started immediately. Whilst we're talking about this in fact, I'll let you in on a little something.

6c. Big Mistake 2 - Dead Ends.

Next up, we're going to look at the final part of the actual set up of the affiliate program. It’s something that's really important and fundamental in online business, not just for affiliate programs, and that's to link it up, and give your customers a path to follow. Ok that might sound amateurish and maybe a little patronizing, so my apologies for that, however the other day I was browsing around checking out the competition and what they're up to related to my next product, and what I found was many of them, both in their sales letter (if there was one) and in their affiliate signup pages, they dead ended me.

What I mean by that is, I go to signup for their affiliate program, and they have this great sales page that tells me how much I'm going to earn per sale, a really nice bonus scheme for top affiliates etc, and I got to the bottom of the page, and guess what I found? Well, not much actually. They sold me on this affiliate program, but the page just ended. No click here to sign up, no nothing.

Now that's an extreme example I have to admit, but lets be honest here, if you're seriously getting into affiliate marketing you can't afford to do that. If you have an affiliates button that leads to a page that explains a little about your affiliate program, try to fit the form in at the base of the page, or at least have a click here to sign up. Granted, normally I wouldn't have mentioned this, but looking around it's definitely worth it. So never forget, a nav bar is good, but you have to show the customer where to go, with click here's, or forms that tell the story for themselves. You're still selling yourself here, and getting the all-important affiliates can be more profitable than making the sale yourself. Don't overlook small things such as this, pick through your setup with a fine toothcomb and make sure no page has a dead end anywhere.

6d. Sell It Like A Product.

Still concentrating on the selling aspect of getting your affiliates, we need to plug some more gaps. Mistakes, mistakes everywhere, it's not easy to sign up for some affiliate programs even if you wanted to. Don't be one of those people. They're losing thousands and they probably don't even know it. So here's another little tip for you. Sell your affiliate program.

If I click on your 'Affiliates' button on your website, I don't want to be presented with a form that asks for my details. I see this all too often. Write a mini sales letter that explains some things to the potential affiliate. Information you must include can be as basic as how much they'll earn on how many levels, and for how long, and any bonuses they may get for a particular amount of sales in any given time, and of course, how often you pay out.
