Profit Tip #4

Backend Sell For More Profits.

Sometimes when I run a promotion for a software program or ebook I do so specifically because I already have a perfect product to compliment it or a series of products that lead into each other. I already know I can create more profits with less overall work. (And who doesn't want to do that © )

Here's an example of what I mean:

When someone purchases a product they'll be sent to a download page ... On this page -the "thank-you" page I'll promote a second product with a great discount that directly relates or compliments the product they just bought.

I'm sure if you've ever purchased anything from Amazon you see it too - with a statement along the lines of 'Other customers who purchased this product also bought.' - they do it because it works! I've seen 35%+ of customers who ordered product 'a' going on to purchase product 'b' over and over again.

If your backend product fits in nicely with your original offer or the two products can be used together well (i.e. they're a good fit) then this strategy really works. And everyone wins. You make more profits - your customer gets more products and at a great price. And don't forget if you regularly give your customers a good deal they'll come back and keep coming back.

Okay but what if you don't have a second product? You've still zero excuse for not doing this - just include an affiliate link for a good complimentary product on your download pages. With thousands of products available with resell rights it's pretty unlikely that you couldn't find something.

But if you're just starting out and don't have to many products in your catalogue then at the end of this report I'll show you how to get an archive of more than $10,000 worth of resellable software for less than a hundred dollars!
And Don't Forget To Follow Up!

Once people start buying specific products from you it's easy to offer them more related products or services as you come across them.

If you find or create a new product or service that you know will benefit previous customers - tell them about it.

Let's go back to our imaginary product we built in tip #3 - the

"Your Name's Email Marketing Maximiser Kit"

When you have a customer who has purchased this product from you consider the other types of products that they will be interested in. For example..

List building products - if your customer is interested in email marketing you can be pretty certain they'll want to know about more ways to build their lists. Equally products that will help them drive traffic to their sign up pages i.e. traffic generation products would be of interest to.

Just a simple email notification like the one below will work wonders on your bottom line:

"Hi Customer Name,

Two weeks ago you purchased my 'Email Marketing Maximiser kit' and I'm sure you are now well on your way to getting more of your emails through to your customers and starting to see your response rates increase.

I'm sending you this message today because I've just secured a brand new software program that will work in conjunction with your existing programs to drive more traffic to your sign up pages. In fact I've been testing this out myself for the last few days and the results I'm seeing already are great -1 know you'll love it this as much as me.

As a valued customer I'd like to share this with you this before anyone else sees it. To find out exactly how you can increase the amount of targeted traffic on your site just click on the link below.

Best Wishes Your Name"
Then put this on autopilot!

If you automate the delivery of your products just add the above message into your customer/delivery autoresponder - make a few tweaks and set it to deliver 7 or 14 days after the original purchase of product then add a third product a fourth and so on.

Eventually you have a fully automated line of products to offer your customers.

Profit Tip #5

Master The Art Of Copywriting.

I've saved this one till last but in reality you should give this as much attention as you would to building your subscriber list. Learning how to write good copy, or recognize it when you see it, is something you must do if your going to be successful in online marketing. (Or any kind of direct response marketing)

Even if you have the means to invest in the services of a professional copywriter you still need to understand the basics - Otherwise how will you know what you're paying for is any good. You won't until it's too late.

One of the biggest problems with Resell Rights products is that many of the 'ready made' web sites are filled with flat copy. Dull lifeless pages with crappy graphics and no grab for your readers. Even if the product is first class and you work hard to send tens of thousands of people to see the site it won't sell well if your sales copy is rubbish.

So right now do yourself the biggest favour and learn how to write good sales copy.

Check out this page - for some good low cost options to get started with.
Importantly with Resell Rights you need to know if the focus of your sales page is targeted at the right people...

Are you selling your products to other resellers or to people who will use the product? If it’s the former then your sales page needs to focus on their needs - Will the product make them money, will it be easy for them to set up, will their customers like the product - Can they sell it?

Alternatively - If you intend buying a product to sell to the ‘end user’ take the focus away from the resell rights - In fact remove any mention of resell rights and sell the product to them. (Potential customers may just go in search of someone else selling the product cheaper than you if they see you are just a reseller.)

People that are 'buying to read' want to know different things...

Does the product solve 'their' problem, will it make their life easier, why should they buy it from you and why should they buy it now.

Now what I am going to go through is something that is so powerful and is the crux of this system. If you’ve been skimming shame on you, but this you will need to read and re-read until it all sinks in. It takes a fair amount of time using free tools such as overture and the like, but later I will let you in on a piece of software that does everything I’m about to tell you in the click of a button.

So… Finding keyword holes in niche markets is not difficult whatsoever. The difficult part is thinking of niche markets to do your keyword research on.

Most newcomers for one reason or another flock to these “get rich quick” schemes to promote. The fact is that this market is so competitive that a newbie will not have much of a chance of making a sustainable income doing this.

That being said… It is not impossible to find these keyword holes even in the “make money” niche market, using the techniques I am going to show you. I have gotten emails from a couple of happy campers that have found these keyword holes and were benefiting greatly.

On another note, there is an ingenious way to find niche markets without having to think of them yourself. You let the millions of Internet users do the thinking for you. This can be achieved by using the software I spoke about earlier in a special way.

What you will discover in this free report is a way to personalize website articles with a minimum of effort on your part. And at the same time, this will allow you the leverage of using other people’s knowledge from their pre-written articles to help your search engine rankings adding valuable content to your site.

As you know... (and as far as search engines go) content is king.

But let’s face it, writing a slew of articles to get content would take months or even years…

This report offers you a way to use OPK…

Other People’s Knowledge!

But it gets even better than that… Just listen…

Others provide the main content through their pre-written articles that they want you to use… and YOU get tons of free content from their efforts… Fair deal right?

It sure is… but you can capitalize on it even more if you follow the outline in this report. All you have to do is personalize what they have written by adding a brief intro and outro to it… Therefore, you precede the article with your personalized brief content and also end it in the same way... Let me explain more…

We’re talking no more than 20% total of your added content based on the length of the pre-written article. So… that works out to be just about 2 brief paragraphs. One paragraph you’ll place at the very top of the pre-written article… and the 2nd one at the very bottom after the pre-written article.

You kind of wrap it with YOUR own personalized content… and thus we can call it… Article Wrapping!

Presto… It’s a super quick process and now you’ll have full advantage of others hard work by putting in only a little effort of your own.

So why should you do Article Wrapping?

That’s a great question… Here’s why… While there are many articles available for you to freely use at your website, the search engines know which ones are being used over and over again.

The word is search engines will not see some of the duped articles you use as unique content. Therefore, some duplicate content won’t help your rankings since there seems to be a disqualification for using redundant information.

But… by wrapping a pre-written article with your own personalized brief content, you are re-establishing it as new and unique information. NOW you can get recognition from the search engines taking advantage of all the keyword rich content… and while most of the work has been done by others…

Also… you can add in your affiliate link when you recommend products that help your readers find solutions on your topic. So… you can make commissions from using Other People’s Knowledge just by adding your own content to pre-written articles.

~Side Note~ Let’s be realistic… There are ways to add hundreds and thousands of articles to your sites using content membership sites or even a great new tool that can do this right from the desktop of your computer. But keep in mind… even while it’s easy to wrap pre-written articles the way I’ll show you… it would obviously take too long to do hundreds of them… But why not take a handful of articles and wrap them in YOUR own content which will still give you a lot of mileage?

So, the concept is, yes, you can use article software to pull in tons of content as the more the merrier. Just remember, not all of the pre-written article content you use will be recognized by the search engines because of the redundancy issue as mentioned above. But you can get a lot of good mileage from of the abundance of many pre-written articles as well as doing some article wrapping too. DO BOTH to get maximum results!

By wrapping certain articles on your pages, (by that I mean what ever is realistic to you, maybe doing 10 - 20 or 50 articles, etc)… you can have keyword rich content boosting your search engine rankings as well as the ability to make commissions from your personalized content that article wrapping provides.

Ghostwriters From The Inside Out MRR Ebook

The first thing is you should be precise in what you’re looking for. If you need someone to flesh out an e-book on the subject of your time in Vietnam, that is a very different project, and will attract a completely different set of resources, than a project to write, from scratch, on how to build an internal combustion engine or a set of six articles on how to get your website the top rating on Google.

As an example of the number of possibilities Elance boasts that it has “50,000” professionals available at any time. Even if this is true, and you decide to peruse Elance in your search for a great ghostwriter, how can you possibly select from among 50,000 or even 50 writers effectively? The answer is, you can’t, really. What you can do is “qualify out” the majority of potential submissions and then develop the ability to quickly assess the rest, culling the herd down to just a few from among which you will then choose.

First, you can – and we generally recommend you do – avoid offshore resources for writing. This will reduce the bidding pool significantly on any of the project auction sites or the response rates to your classifieds or job listings.

How About Offshore Resources? While offshore resources offer a compelling price point, our experience is in writing you are dealing with subtleties that are both cultural and linguistic and the money saved using someone in India, Mexico, Argentina or China to write prose will be spent two or three times over fixing their work, as well as wasting time and causing frustration.

Remember we are talking about ghostwriting – not general copywriting for example for search engine optimization purposes. That sort of keyword-driven work can easily be done offshore with great results. Ghostwriting of longer pieces with personality and skill, cannot.

When you are producing “content” for a series of websites or RSS feeds or similar kinds of “word hungry” situations where the actual quality of the writing as writing is less important than length, word frequency and other factors that can be handled by almost anyone who has basic competence with written English, we encourage you to go for a cheap resource that delivers. You need volume and speed primarily, and volume and speed can be had for a song.

On the other hand, when you’re writing something more meaningful, intended to be read and reread, that you may charge money for and that will have your name and or your company’s name clearly associated with it, you want something better than just OK.

We’d say you want US, UK, Canada or similarly-based resources. You can shop regions. A typical NYC writer will generally charge more than a typical Katy, Texas writer, for obvious reasons.

SECRET#10: Know Why “Nice Guys” Shouldn’t Change…

The most important reason not to change a thing about yourself ifyou are a nice person, is that that is who you are. Believe me, there are plenty of nice girls out there, and if you’ve decided that, “no-one likes nice men”, and put up a front, you might just miss one of those “nice girls” as she comes into your world.

But at this point, I’m going to “break faith with the sisterhood” to some extent. If a woman thinks you’re “too nice” for her, that says wonderful things about you, and something significant about her.

Why on earth, you might wonder, would anyone who’s as great as this girl, possibly think any one was “too nice” for them?

The short answer seems, on the whole (there are always exceptions) to be that people can only accept love from someone else to the extent that they love themselves. They literally can’t take the extra, better, treatment that someone else wants to give them, because it doesn’t fit with their own concept of how loveable they are. Because they don’t think they deserve that love, the person offering it is indeed, in their eyes, being, “too nice.”

What you do about this depends very much upon how much you care about this person, and why she’s in this state of fairly low self-worth. If (as can sometimes be the case) she has had such bad treatment in previous relationships that she has lost her sense of self worth, then time and patience may well be the key.

If she has simply has some growing up, or personal development to do, to get to the point where she can love herself as much as you love her, then you may need to factor that into whatever you decide. As a nice person (and one who I hope, is now proud of that) you’re brilliantly placed to make the best decision in all the circumstances.

You may be just the person to help this girl to understand that real love and respect tend to come only from people who are, “nice," rarely or never hurt, and feel very different to anything else as a result. But remember to stay true to yourself and your own needs also.

Chapter 5: The Blogging Technique That No Marketers Talk About

I hardly come across any marketers talking about crossblogging. Maybe it really doesn’t work after all. The term ‘crossposting’ tends to encompass posting in forums, mailing lists and newsgroups. Furthermore, there is an opposition camp that guards against cross-posting and treats the activity like spamming.

If after you read this chapter and you are interested in going about it, please do me a favor: track your results and outcome and write to me. I’ll want to publicize your account and make you popular for it.

Now there are social networking sites that work on the premise of making friends (Friendster, MySpace), submitting news (Spicypages, WeBetUR), exchanging photos (Flickr), showcasing your resume/profession (LinkedIn, Ryze) and blogging.

And there are a great many blogging community sites. Some of them encourage crossblogging too.

The tantalizing proposal is to duplicate your blog posts across as many blogging platforms as possible for the purposes of search indexing and increased readership among fellow community members, but there will be a severe “effort vs. time” tradeoff. However, the crossblogging idea I’m referring here works on autopilot, which means the moment you publish something in your WordPress blog, it immediately appears in another without you having to login to this other blog.

It sounds cool but until someone comes up with a software program that cuts across the legalities to customize and link up as many platforms as possible, it ain’t perfect reality. Auto crossblogging is at least possible for now.

How To Attract Clients To Your Practice – Effortlessly Resale Rights Ebook

Allied marketing is using the next gear and asking other businesses for referrals.

Make a list of all businesses that serve your target market. I am not talking about your competitors, but businesses serving the same market with a different solution.

If you are working with children that are hyperactive, schools would be possible allied marketing partners. Or if you sell pool cleaning, garden maintenance businesses would be great allies.

Go back to your list of sub-target markets from Day 17 and brainstorm a list of businesses for each of the categories. Think about where the members of the categories shop? What do they do for entertainment? What other common needs do they have?

Checking for a Fit

If your vouchers offer a valuable service for free, you have just given your potential partners a huge gift. By giving that away, their value will increase in their clients' eyes. That is probably the easiest offer to do an allied marketing deal with.

If your offer is for part of the service and the rest needs to be purchased (e.g. buy one get one free), make sure that the value of your offer matches what clients are spending with your potential partner. If they are purchasing cars for several ten thousand Dollars, then a voucher for $10 is not appropriate.

You could also offer them a commission on the sales they generate.

How to Attract an Ally

As always, you need to call them. Before you do, think about how your offer benefits them.

Then call and introduce yourself with your Specialist Statement. Ask for the owner or manager (depending on the size of the business, they might also have a marketing manager who is worth talking to).

Tell them about the opportunity you are offering them (highlighting the benefits they get) and if they show interest make a meeting to see them personally.

Building Trust

At the personal meeting, show them the vouchers and talk about how they might be customised for them (that could be their name or even logo).

Also offer the person you are dealing with to experience your services and make a date for that.

Always follow up the initial meeting with a letter or email. Thank them for their interest, summarise what has been said and what the next step is.

Making it Happen

From tomorrow call one business a day, until you have at least 3 committed allied partners. When you have them, get your graphic designer to customise the vouchers in a way discussed with your partners and get them produced. Decide on the correct quantities to fit their and your needs.

Once you are more certain about this process, you might even get your partners to pay for some or even all of the production costs. After all, you are putting your time in.

After the first 3, you should aim to have one active allied marketing promotion each month.
