77 Make a list of your target audience. Write down what reasons would attract them to purchase your product. Include those reasons in your ad copy. For example, if my target audience was business owners and affiliate marketers, I would write down things like - make money, increase sales, cut costs, etc.

78 Include any proven facts in your ad copy. They could be customer surveys, scientific tests, product reviews, etc. For example, you could say, "FACT: Our product withstood an elephant walking over it!" Another example, "(business name) Research found that our product reduces stress by 325%."

79 Look for different ways to prove your business and products to your audience. You could collect testimonials, hold surveys, do scientific tests, etc. For example, if you were selling a money-making product, you could use a picture of one of your actual checks.

80 Tell your prospects that your product has better safety features. People want to feel safe when they use your products. For example, you could say, "Our product has tested safer than any other product in our category." Another example, "Our product comes with a safety lock and switch."

81 Try new business ideas and strategies. Do not be afraid of changing what you're doing. You could try out technology, advertising, marketing, etc. For example, just because you are selling e-books doesn’t mean you can't try selling printed books, DVDs, videos, cassettes, software programs, etc.

82 Solve an existing problem for people. There are thousands of problems in the world. Create a product that can provide a solution to one of those problems. For example, you could write an e-book to show people how to market their product on the Internet. Another example, you could advise people on how to get out of debt.

83 Find out what's the current hot trend. You can find out what the new trends are by watching TV, reading magazines and surfing the net. Just create a product that's related to the current hot trend. For example, if the current hot trend is pop-up ads you could write a report on how to create your own pop-up ad.

84 Improve a product that is already on the market. You see products at home, in ads, at stores, etc. Just take a product that's already out there and improve it. For example, if you read an e-book on starting your own web business and you think it could be improved, write your own e-book about that subject.

85 Create a new niche for a current product. You can set yourself apart from your competition by creating a niche. Your product could be faster, bigger, smaller, or quicker than you competitor's product. For example, if you sell downloadable software, your niche could be that it downloads faster than your leading competitor’s.

86 Add on to an existing product. You could package your current product with other related products. For example, you could package a football with a team jersey and football cards. Another example, you could package flowers with greeting cards, gifts, candy, etc.

87 Reincarnate an older product. Maybe you have a book that's out of print and is no longer being sold. You could change the title, design a new front cover, and bring some of the old content up-to-date. For example, if you wrote a book about starting your own bookstore, you could rewrite it to be about starting your own online bookstore.

88 Ask your current customers. You could contact some of your existing customers by phone or e-mail and ask them what kind of new products they would like to see on the market. For example, a customer may tell you that he would like to see you offer free consulting with each e-book you sell. If one person thinks that, then usually more do too.

89 Combine two or more products together to create a new one. For example, you could take a briefcase and add a thermos compartment inside to keep a drink hot or cold. Another example, you could take an e-book and link it to a related online message board.

The 7 Things You Must Know Give Away Rights Ebook

No. #5: Don’t undercharge for your services

I know what it’s like when you’re starting out. You just want clients and you want them now.

So what if you have to discount your services to get business? So what if you undercut your competitors to stand a better chance?

Did you go into business to sell yourself short and lose money? If you remember only one thing from this eBook, then remember this:

You must charge a reasonable hourly rate so that you can cover your overheads and earn a reasonable amount of money.

Even though you’re working from home and not paying office rental costs, you’ll have a myriad of ongoing and one-off costs for marketing, equipment, stationery and so on.

You’ll also need to fund your own retirement, and put money aside for holidays and sick leave.

Therefore, as a rule of thumb, you must charge roughly two and a half to three times the hourly rate you would earn as an employee.

Some VAs post their hourly rates on their websites, so do some research and get a feel for current market rates.

The other downside of charging too little is that clients may even be put off if your rates are too low. I know I certainly wouldn’t trust the cheapest VA or any other service provider for that matter. People really do believe that you get what you pay for.

Also, clients at the lower end of the market will tend to be penny pinchers, haggling over every penny.

However, by all means stay flexible. What if you sense that a client could turn into a long-term retainer, but you just need to get your foot in the door? Use your intuition and judgment. But don’t get into the mindset of discounting your services to get clients.

With my EBook ‘Freelance From Home! The Five Key Steps to Your Successful Virtual Assistant Business’, you get a detailed eWorkbook which calculates your average hourly rate, plus invaluable tips on persuading clients to pay you what you are worth!

No. #6: Make your website a priority

The Virtual Assistant works virtually, and therefore is expected to have an online presence.

I would say that setting up a website is something you should do in the early stages of your business.

It can be the first impression people get of your services, therefore a professional looking site is important.

You could learn the skills and design it yourself. However, only do this if you are confident that the result will look professional.

Alternatively, pay a web designer – it is quite cost effective nowadays to get one designed.

Give consideration to the look of the site. Keep it clear and clean.

It must be professional, easy to navigate, and fast to load.

Avoid heavy use of graphics and photos, because this slows down the load time. In today’s fast moving internet world, prospective clients will not wait long before they click on to another site.

Draw up a plan of the site. Here are some suggestions for pages:

Regarding what to put on your site, always write with your target market in mind. Web copy must be easy to read. Use short sentences and get to the point quickly.

Setting up a website is only the first step. You have to promote it otherwise it will just languish there in cyberspace!

There are a multitude of ways to promote your website such as getting listed in search engines, participating in forums, using an email signature, getting listed in directories and writing articles.

No. #7: Get support from your family

Depending on your situation, you may have a spouse or partner, and/or children.

Running your own business is one of the most rewarding and challenging things you’ll ever do. Make sure your family is behind you every step of the way.

Is your spouse/partner the supportive type? How about your children? Will they understand when you need to ‘lock yourself away’ and get that project done? It’s easy to underestimate the impact that running a business from home can have on your relationships.

That’s why it’s crucial to get support and understanding from family members right from the start.

Chapter 6: Selling

Now that you’ve started using eBay, know what you want to sell, have started researching and buying it and are comfortable with the whole process, it’s time to start making money!

Unlike most “markets” where research is hard to come by or expensive, eBay makes it incredibly easy to see how the market for your particular products is doing – you can watch other auctions live, and more importantly, you can see everything that happened on eBay for the last 90 days.

If you wanted to open a bakery on the main street of your town and wondered “How many muffins get bought in this town every weekday morning” you’d almost certainly not get a good answer to that.

If you want to sell, for example, dehumidifiers on eBay, you can easily do a search of completed auctions for items like yours and see all kinds of incredible information like how many sold, how quickly, and at what prices.

So that is the most important aspect of selling on eBay – doing a little legwork to understand your market.

Also keep in mind that if a relatively obscure item sells for a high price to one person, everyone who has one of those to sell will list it, trying to get the high price. Outrageously high prices for relatively obscure items are often because one collector of something decides in one moment they “need” it – which may or may not influence the general pricing trend. Also, as a seller, your main concern is problematic, fake, or non-paying bidders.

The 13 Serious Death Threats To Your Websites MRR Ebook

Force Majeure is the happening of a disastrous event brought about by acts of nature or as they say, acts of God.

Natural calamities such as typhoons, hurricanes, tidal waves, earthquakes, flooding, volcano eruptions and other similar forces of nature are real threats to your web hosts. It may also include wars and acts of terrorisms.

As you know, nature’s fury has not been controlled by any man. We can’t even predict accurately yet when and where it will strike. No structure created by man can ever be considered safe no matter how architecturally sound and technologically advanced this structure is.

The most vulnerable in cases like this is your host or where your host is keeping their servers. Big hosting companies typically have their own datacenters while those small and medium hosting companies rent a space or servers on public datacenters. This renting of space is also known as collocation.

When these datacenters (owned or rented) are hit by Force Majeure events, you will never know what will happen with your websites as well. This is something even your host cannot control to which both of you should be ready to face anytime it happens.

Even if your desk is neat and your surroundings spotless, what about your affiliate IDs, passwords, to-do lists, email folders, ads and campaigns, address book, site blueprints, article submissions, bookmarks, spreadsheets, and computer files? We thought so.

Very few affiliates can immediately put their finger on their affiliate IDs, let alone navigate to an important file immediately. Most of us spend way too much time sorting through old emails to find important business details. If you think it would take you more than one working day to collect all your affiliate IDs and passwords and make a complete list of your business projects, then you’re probably LOSING at least one hour every day on these inefficiencies!

If the idea of slogging through all those old files to collect information sounds like a horrible chore, it’s time to look at project management tools. If you already own Microsoft Project and know how to use it, you can start there, though it tends not to adapt well to one-person operations. The same hold true of most other off-the-shelf or online project management tools—they’re designed to be used in collaborative environments, where teams work on multiple projects concurrently.

You might be better off creating separate Excel spreadsheets to list IDs and passwords, track progress on site development, manage link partners, track ad campaigns, and record article submissions. If that sounds like a lot of work, remember that dealing with a backlog of disorganization is the toughest part. And don’t underestimate the basic time management tools that come with Microsoft Outlook. While they’re not very flexible or robust, they can at least help you keep to-do lists and remind you of deadlines.

Of course, if you belong to The Affiliate Classroom, you already have access to a secure, step-by-step marketing management system. So explore it and USE it. Start by creating a “private profile” for every affiliate program you join. It takes about 2 minutes to record your IDs and passwords, and about 2 minutes more to record those marketing ideas that are so exciting right now, but that you’re bound to forget if you don’t write them down.

And don’t underestimate the power of using your Affiliate Classroom step-by-step system DAILY. In fact, this is true of any other project management tool of your choice. Setting it up is one thing, but training yourself to be more organized every day is another!

To motivate yourself to stay organized, think of it this way: Remember that if you waste just half an hour a day digging for lost items and fiddling around, that’s two and a half hours a week down the drain. That’s serious time you could spend watching a movie, reading, relaxing, enjoying nature, hanging out with friends and family… or making more money!

Because the Affiliate Classroom step-by-step system is designed specifically for affiliate marketers, it only takes an hour or two to get comfortable with the system. If you’re using project management software or building your own spreadsheets, you need to set aside a couple of days to develop a system you can live with and use easily.

But after that, you still need to USE what you’ve learned. Affiliate Classroom members say that it takes about 3 days of using the step-by-step project management system to make it a habit - probably because the system allows you to keep notes, site ideas, link partners, article submissions, and your exact progress of every affiliate site you’re building all in one place. Your own project management “training” may take longer. But no matter what, it’s worth it.

4. The JV Project - EXPOSED!

101 Proven Strategies To Get More Visitors To Your Web Site In One Day Than Most Web Sites Get In A Year!

Do you like the heading? Well I would like to thank one person for suggesting the heading - 101 Proven Strategies To Get More Visitors To Your Web Site In One Day Than Most Web Sites Get In A Year!

All credit goes to Mark Hendricks for suggesting that impressive title. Mark, thanks for your help!

After my first joint venture with the launch of the Internet Money Machine ebook I decided to author another ebook. By this time I have tested many of the traffic generating strategies available on the Internet, so the book will be on the topic of traffic generation.

The EXPOSED book reveals 101 strategies for generating traffic to any web site. It took me a few months of preparation as this book comes with a printed copy as well besides the ebook version.

How do I promote EXPOSED?

Since I had first hand experience from my first JV project (The Internet Money Machine), I had to plan another strategy for promoting this ebook.

What was my strategy?

“I will approach some of the top Internet marketers for their testimonials and I’ll offer them the opportunity to promote the ebook upon launch.

They will have the first mover advantage.”

Hey, that’s killing two birds with one stone. So I started planning and creating my emails. I usually create all my emails before I start taking action so I know the flow. After that it will be just copy and paste!

I have my existing list of JV partners and need to compile a new list as well. By the way I also provided testimonials to other Internet marketers and start building relationships with these Internet marketers by now.

Here are some of the emails that I used for the EXPOSED project.

Yes, it is as simple as that, because the script will generate unique promotion codes for everyone and once they fulfill the defined requirement (i.e. they get the specific number of subscribers to you,) they will automatically be able to access the reward in the membership area. The script manages all this.

The List Spawner site is a living example of the same concept, i.e. “they walk the talk.” You will get the script at no cost when you refer 10 people and they become a subscriber of the site. You have two benefits here: You will be a part of the *viral* experience of the system and you also will get the reward, “The List Spawner script,” that you will install on your site and that will put your Viral list building on autopilot!

So, go ahead and download it NOW! I don’t know when they will pull the plug and start charging for the script. Rush before it is too late! Download now.

Install the script and then come back to read the next part…

So, you are back! Good, you have taken a really wise step towards putting your *Viral* list building on autopilot! Congratulations!

Now that you have installed the script and it is up and running, let’s see the next step that will allow us to make the maximum out of this system.

Now, you need to decide on the reward you want to offer to people for helping you build your list. This is a very important step because people will not just decide to help you if you are offering one of those free products that are available everywhere on the web. Put yourself in their shoes and ask yourself, “Would you do it for someone else, if they were doing the same?” I always ask this question before doing any promotion.

Press Release Principles MRR Ebook

Nothing I thought of gave me what I was looking for. The harder I tried to think, the harder it became. So I gave myself a break – which, as it turned out, was exactly the answer and gave me my “Eureka” moment.

I own racing greyhounds. It’s great fun, but that’s another story. Every Sunday mornings I visit my dogs at the trainer’s kennels, take them for a walk and give them a packet pf beef slices as a little treat. They love it.

This particular Sunday, another owner was walking his greyhounds. After our walk, this other owner was fussing his dogs when he (owner, not dog…) pulled a nasty face. I asked what was wrong. The reply came back that the dog had “farted” – or passed wind in polite terms. A spot of flatulence The smell was not pleasant.

And – that was it. Eureka! I’d found my niche within niche. My web site would be on dog flatulence. It was something I had knowledge of through my greyhound ownership so could write a web site using that prior knowledge and experience.

And I could insert Adsense and a few relevant Click Bank products to monetarise the site.

I got home, fired up Good Keywords and typed in “dog flatulence.” It showed me that there had been 136 searches for that term on Overture. It doesn’t show Google searches but I figured I could multiply that 136 by a reasonable factor – more people will search Google.

So – I figured that was that. Dog flatulence it would be. My reasoning being that people searching for dog flatulence advice would be very targeted visitors – they really want to know how to cut down on their dog passing wind.
