In order for you to succeed, there must be a market for what you have to offer. It is the old model of supply and demand. There must be a demand for what you have to supply. If there is not a large enough market you will not succeed.

It could mean adjusting and refining your information sites. That is why research is essential. It is a balancing act between finding an area that is not being overworked and areas where there is not enough work. In other words, you have to find an area where the demand for your expertise is high and the supply for that type of work is low.

Previously I suggested going back to school. You can gain experience or education in order to fit into a niche where the demand is high and the supply is low. With experience and specialization your value as a freelancer increases.

So far you have discovered that having skills and identifying these skills is essential. Next you learned that finding a niche that is high in demand is important to success.

What you need to understand now is that none of these will work if you don't also have passion for what you are doing. Your heart has to be in it. This is the fuel in the car that keeps you moving toward your goal.

Sometimes passion and skills are not enough. Let's say you are passionate about computer repair. In fact you are so passionate about it that you went to school to earn a degree in computer technology and repair. More than that, you graduated at the top of your class. You decide you want a job repairing PC's.

Unfortunately there are at least ten qualified applicants for each job available. Because the field is not as specialized as it once was and because there are so many more qualified people who can do PC repair, your service will not pay high wages. But what if you went to school and got a certificate to work specifically on Apple computers?

Because there are less people qualified to work on Apple computers than those who can work on PC's, your ability will be specialized. It is a niche area that has a high demand and a low supply. This translates to higher pay.

If your product's retail price is $97.00 for example, the marketer will likely accept your offer as not only does he or she save at least $97.00 in investing in your product as a bonus, you've just saved him or her some precious time in creating or outsourcing for unique bonuses. On top of that, to produce a high-ticket digital product consumes a lot of time, effort and expertise in development.

They honestly don’t care why YOU think that they should buy the product or service that you are offering. They want to know what is in it for them.

A simple way to keep your marketing email focused on the ways that the product or service that you are offering is focused on the needs of the recipients of the email is this? there is no ‘I’ in ‘sales’.

Once in a while, I would hear of stories of high school students who completed 5 years of syllabus in one year - when they were still freshmen!

It's no surprise how amazing stories deserve a space in the local newspapers since every student automatically studies (well, not all) and follow the trend of the school exams and semesters. And by the sheer determination of these special students, they covered five years of their school’s academic syllabus in advance!

Every one of the successful individuals we know of today, Internet Marketing related or not, play the ‘IM Game’ full time and study about it part time. This is not necessarily a reference to academic schooling and even a specific quantity of time.

What I'm really talking about is: eating, breathing and dreaming Internet Marketing! It's another guarantee that you will put yourself on the fast track to Internet Marketing success.

Unfortunately, there is no single all-encompassing course or syllabus in ECommerce and Internet Marketing so if you want to get past the novice level ASAP, because this is your only ticket and way out of the day-job doldrums!

One obvious ‘given’ is that you should spend longer hours on getting your business started and running online. And if you are in the mainstream workforce as I was before, this will mean sacrificing some precious sleep after you return home later from work or on weekends.

But believe me, it's a cause worth fighting for. (By the way, I used to wake up at 6 in the morning to go to work and come back at 8 at night, sometimes 10 - you could say I really never saw the sun when I was working at my day time job!)

The rationale is simple: you want to clear your "newbie" stage as early as you can. And the only kind of fuel that would help you get there is by playing the Internet Marketing game full time.

Don't worry: this doesn't mean you're going to land yourself on another job but as with any other kinds of business, they take time to build. And also, this doesn't mean you need to leave your full time job immediately just to pursue Internet Marketing (at least, not just yet).

One thing is for sure and vitally important: you should be eating, breathing and sleeping Internet Marketing! It will be worth your temporary sacrifices and when you finally have earned yourself an automated Internet Business, then all of your extra hard work will have finally come through for you.
