Chapter 1: What is Linkedin Marketing all about?

Linkedin Marketing is the use of the Linkedin platform to promote a business, a brand, a product, or a service. You can also define it as a collection of online marketing strategies that are more effective when applied on the Linkedin platform.

But what is the Linkedin platform, and what makes it great for online businesses and marketers? Let’s find out!

What is Linkedin?

Linkedin is a social media site for professionals and businesses. It offers the same social features that you’ll find on other popular social media platforms, with a focus on professional content, business information, and career development.

How Does It Work?

Contrary to other social media sites, Linkedin doesn’t encourage casual interactions and entertainment.

In fact, Linkedin offers a much more restricted social environment that encourages professional interactions and a heavy focus on business-related content, which works perfect for its intended audience.

When you create a Linkedin profile, you are prompted to include information that would be relevant in a professional setting, such as your work experience, your educational background, the languages you know and speak, and your career highlights.

This information will help you to connect with other users, which create networks based on similar career paths instead of interests.

You can also connect with companies as well as to create company pages. The key difference here is that you can use company pages to do actual business activities, such as contacting leads and finding recruits.

Linkedin also encourages content generation and sharing. The content that you can share on Linkedin has to be content directly related to your industry and that is relevant to your contacts.

Other social media features such as groups are also intended to help users create a network of like-minded professionals working in similar industries and following the same career paths.

In the end, Linkedin is all about creating opportunities for people and companies to do business the easiest way possible.

Why Should You Consider Linkedin for Marketing?

Linkedin is a much more focused platform that makes it easier for people to market a brand or products because that’s what the platform is all about.

By creating a profile that highlights your authority and sharing content that is highly relevant to your industry, you’ll be able to build a network of real people that will grow interested in your offers.

Another big, great advantage of Linkedin Marketing is that the platform is very good at detecting spammers and fake businesses, which means that you don’t risk getting your content made irrelevant by a saturation of poor content, unlike in other platforms.

What Benefits Can Linkedin Bring For Marketing Your Business?

Creating a company profile for your business on Linkedin provides you with credibility that is unparalleled by other platforms, where anyone can create low-quality company profiles to deceive customers. Quality and trust matter on Linkedin, so this is the best place to build an online presence for your business.

Linkedin makes it easy to identify, qualify, contact, and capture leads. This is because everyone specifies their strengths in their profiles, so you’ll know in advance what it is they are looking for and what type of products or services matter to them.

Linkedin also streamlines communication with leads because it encourages direct, to-the-point communication about the business at hand.

Linkedin also has an advertising service that is perfect for any business because it is cost effective and lets you hyper-target the audience that you want to reach.

What’s The Future For Linkedin Marketing?

Almost 80% of marketers agree that Linkedin is the most effective social media platform for marketing, which means that more and more brands, including yours, will be joining the site in the future.

Also, Linkedin is introducing slight improvements and changes to its front end that improve instant communication between users, which increases engagement.

So if you’re ready to take your business-to-business results to the next level, then stay tuned, because we’re about to get started!

Arthritis Pain Remedies PLR Ebook

Introduction

Arthritis is a condition that can cause a plethora of symptoms, including deterioration of muscles and joints, a reduction of use in your main joints, and of course, severe pain.

Some cases of arthritis, like rheumatoid, can affect the immune system as well. There are constant and active studies on the conditions and your doctor knows the best treatment options for your specific situation.

Fortunately, on top of the modern medical treatment of arthritis, there are a few different things you can do daily to reduce and relieve the symptoms. Some studies have even shown that some of these all-natural treatments can even diminish symptoms of different types of arthritis!

In the following report, we will discuss 10 of the most widely used, all-natural forms of treatment for your arthritis symptoms. Most of the following treatments can even be done in the comfort of your own home, and can be combined with current medical treatments you may be receiving.

Hopefully, with implementation you can begin to live a healthier and more pain-free life with arthritis.

Let’s begin!

Important Note: It’s important that you seek the advice and approval from your health care provider prior to making any drastic changes to your diet, exercise, or supplement intake.

Tip #1: Regular Exercise

Exercise is vital to keeping those joints and muscles elongated, warmed up, and moving. Make sure to always discuss your weight and exercise routine with your physician before following any workout plan.

Keep in mind that exercise doesn’t have to mean 7 days at the gym pumping iron and running on treadmills. Regular movement, whether it’s walking around your home or participating in aerobic classes at your gym, does wonders for arthritic pain.

In the past, it was thought that exercise made arthritis pain worse, but this has been shown to, not only be untrue, but quite the opposite. Daily workouts help to build and maintain a strong and healthy cardiovascular and muscular system.

Beyond the strengthening and stretching you get from exercise, maintaining a healthy weight contributes in many other ways as well, such as reducing the strain on muscles and joints. If you are overweight, it is important that you set goals with your physician to reach your optimal healthy weight and that you set yourself up for long-term success, rather than short-term results.

Laura Robbins, Senior Vice President of Education and Academic Affairs at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, says that for every pound you lose, you reduce the pressure on your knees by four pounds.

In fact, Roy Altman, MD, Professor of Medicine at the University of California, has seen symptoms of arthritis completely disappear from patients that have lost ten to twenty pounds of excess weight.

Along with the symptoms of arthritis, you will be improving your overall mental and physical well-being, helping to control other ailments your body may face as you age. A strong heart and a strong mind can do wonders for pain management!

Tip #2: Hot & Cold Treatments

One of the main natural treatments for arthritis include hot and cold treatments. There are several different types of arthritis so make sure to ask your doctor which will be better for your specific symptoms.

Cold Therapy helps to reduce joint swelling and inflammation. This type of treatment is most often recommended to rheumatoid arthritis sufferers, but can help others as well.

You can alternate hot and cold treatments as needed but always monitor how your skin reacts and adjust or discontinue as needed.

Cold treatments should be limited to 20-minute sessions. Here are several cold treatments used:

Use a cloth covered bag of ice applied to the painful area.
Submerge the joint in an ice bath.
NOTE: Check with a physician before submerging, especially if it is a large area of the body.
Simple cold packs kept in fridge or freezer, applied when needed.

Heat therapy is often good for all other types of arthritis, as well as, in conjunction with cold treatments. The heat relaxes your muscles and helps blood flow to the affected area.

Heat treatments should be monitored and adjusted depending upon your body's reaction.

Here are several heat treatments widely used by arthritis sufferers:

Start your day with a hot bath or shower to get your blood flowing and joints relaxed.
A warm paraffin wax to affected joints. (This can often be done by a professional to monitor wax temperature.)
Apply a heating pad, heat pack, or other warm heat source to the affected joints.

Always make sure, when using heat therapy, to maintain a comfortable level of heat.

Hot tubs are also excellent ways to cover larger areas of the body, but always check with your physician first as they can be dangerous for those with certain health conditions.

Referral Marketing PLR Ebook

Introduction

If you’re looking to maximize exposure and profits while consistently working towards acquiring new customers, there is no better way than with referral marketing.

Referral marketing is all about encouraging people in your niche to share your products and services. This can include customers, influencers and thought leaders in your market.

Ultimately, there is no easier way to better position your brand and leverage your existing customer base than to design a referral system that actively encourages sharing.

There are many ways to create a referral system for your business. You could choose to compensate referrals based on a specific cash value, credit towards purchases made on your shop, or other incentive-based offers that motivate people to share your products and services amongst their own inner circles.

The problem is, many people don’t spend enough time analyzing what is currently working in their market so they can design a referral program around what is likely to move the needle.

Worse, many businesses overlook referral marketing altogether and do little more than set up a basic affiliate program and hope it will help them expand their outreach.

Build it and they will come simply doesn’t work when it comes to creating a successful referral program. The key is to analyze your market so that your platform will attract the right customers.

While a basic affiliate program is a great asset to your business and can help elevate your platform and broaden your outreach, it’s only the beginning. There are many other ways to utilize the power of referral marketing and that’s what this special report is all about.

I’ll show you how to connect with your most loyal customers so you can motivate them to spread the word about your business, while setting yourself up for long-term success.

Are you ready to maximize your profits and level-up your game with referral marketing?

Let’s begin!

Become Share-Worthy

When it comes to taking advantage of the power of referral marketing, it all begins with ensuring your business is share-worthy.

The goal is to persuade existing customers, thought leaders and influencers to promote your products and recommend them to others. So, the better you structure your business to appeal to your target audience, and the more excited you get people, the easier it will be to launch your referral program.

Think about it: if your products and services don’t include a clear brand message that tells a potential customer exactly how they benefit from purchasing from you, chances are your affiliates will have to do way too much work to get the sale.

Remember, it’s not their job to persuade a prospect into making a purchase – it’s yours.

The key is to get your customers excited about your message so that they are motivated to spread the word. You can do this several ways, including through monetized campaigns (affiliate programs, rewards or other incentives), and of course, by creating a product that stands out in the market, is in-demand, and solves a specific problem.

Regardless of your strategy, you need to make sure that you focus on highlighting the benefits of your product or service. You’ll want to spend time working on a killer sales page while fine-tuning your shop or business landing page so that it offers a positive user experience.

Simplicity is key! You want potential customers to land on your page and get excited about what you have to offer. At the same time, your referral program should follow this same format.

And above all else, making sure that your customers are happy and that they feel you are a quality provider is essential in generating new business and persuading others that you’re worth recommending to their friends, family or colleagues.

Focus on over-delivering and exceeding expectations!

According to recent surveys and statistics, 62% of people do a thorough internet search before buying a product. They want to see what actual customers have to say about a company before handing over their money.

In addition to reading ratings and reviews, 90% of buyers rely on brand recommendations from people they know. Just think about the last time you made a big-ticket purchase. You probably asked around to see what people recommended, right?

At the very least, you likely spent some time reading through reviews and feedback left by people who had already purchased the product you’re considering. So, it’s important to make sure that if someone searches for your product or service, all they see are glowing testimonials and positive feedback. You do this by over-delivering and providing the best user experience possible.

With every customer transaction, you want to encourage them to share your product with others, either directly or indirectly through their social media platforms and outreach.

Here are a few ways to get started:

Customers always appreciate a discount, or you can even give them a gift just for providing their feedback.

For those who are more interested in boosting their internet clout, offer to do a shout-out to their social media page in return for a testimonial or share.

A testimonial-style video created by satisfied customers can become instrumental in convincing new customers to take a chance on your products or services.

Take time to share positive feedback you receive on both your business website and social media accounts. Give potential customers as much opportunity as possible to see how customers are responding to your services.

Word of mouth might be the most important part of your marketing since 75% of people have little faith in traditional advertisements. Genuine endorsements from people they know or respect will go the distance.

After each transaction, find a polite and non-intrusive way to ask customers to tell their friends and family about their buying experience. On average, people are four times more likely to do business with you if they were referred by a friend!

Network with Influencers

Social media influencers and thought leaders are, without a doubt, incredibly valuable partners when it comes to helping you reach new customers.

Influencers are people on social media with a strong following. Their followers rely on them for advice on what products they should and shouldn’t buy. Many of these influencers do this as a full-time job.

The Most Effective Marketing For The Least Investment

YOU CAN SAVE MONEY AND GET SUCCESSFUL MARKETING

Marketing any product anywhere costs money. The amount of money it costs ranges widely, especially in terms of the "real" world offline. Yet, online, you do not always have to spend a lot of money to make a good amount of money.

In fact, you may be able to market your product, no matter what it is, using a variety of the most successful marketing tools without spending a lot of money at all.
It is often important to consider a few out of the box ideas for marketing in this manner, especially if your goal is to save money. The first step is to know your product in and out, to know what makes it so good compared to other products out there and know why people should buy from you. Knowing this will help you to be an expert on the topic, which means that anyone you come into contact with can be a potential client for you.

Once you have a foundation of knowledge, implement any and all of these methods to increase your product's sales-ability.

GETTING IT ONLINE

Getting your website up and running should be your priority. This can be done any way that you would like to. If you have the skill to set up a website on your own, go for it. Remember to keep your budget low by not investing in a lot of graphics or over the top features you won't use anyway.

GOOD CONTENT COUNTS

One of the key elements to selling your product will be to convince the reader who visits your website that you have something they can't live without and simply must have. Therefore, as you create your website, keep in mind that you do need to have excellent content and all of the information they are looking for.

For example, if you are promoting a product that is an all natural solution to diabetes, you need to have pages dedicated to what diabetes is, symptoms
and medications. You then need to have information that depicts what your product is and what it can do for those who are suffering from this illness.

Just as important is not to overinflate your product. People are not dumb; they realize when someone is selling something to them and when they are getting a great product with good potential. Therefore, keep the banner ads and flash designs to a minimum.

You also don't want to over sell your product by guaranteeing results that you can't possibly guarantee. For example, you don't want to tell everyone that your product is capable of curing their diabetic condition within six months of use. Not only is this false advertising, which could help you end up with a lawsuit, but it is not believable and will turn people away instantly. Give facts and figures you can back up. This will impress them.

KEYWORDS ARE A MUST

As most Internet marketers know, using good keywords in their product's website is important. The keywords will help you to get online so that people can find you. Later, you will find services to help you increase your product's website's traffic, but while you are creating your website keep keywords in mind.

If you haven't written anything for your website with keywords go back and fix this problem. Most Internet marketers recommend at least a 2 percent density. It is not important to go overboard with the keywords, just to include them so that the search engines rank you well.

Those who are unsure of the right keywords to use for their product don't have to look too far to find the options they need. Here are some ways you can beef up keywords without paying a lot for it.

A free keyword tool can help you to find out what keywords are out there that people are typing into search engines to find your product. Some of these could be ones you haven't thought about which could give you an excellent advantage.

One free keyword tracker tool used by many is Wordtracker's tool at: https://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ . There is no cost and it gives you a good place to start.

If you are very concerned about your competition, you may want to watch them. Find out how well their website is doing in terms of keywords and traffic. You can do this by using a couple options. First, for keyword help try KeyCompete.com . This is not a free service but one that is low cost and helps you know what's happening with your competitor. Another option is Compete.com where you can learn how well your competitor is doing in terms of traffic.

SALES PAGES

The key with getting your website online and running is just to do it. You need to get it up there with great content first so you can begin to promote it. One question often asked is if you should use a sales page.

This is really a decision you will need to make. Some products do better with these long, sales ads. They work well for those who are selling a product that is heavily available through other providers. You may have luck with this product but only if it is written well. In other words, have a professional develop a winning sales page for you. This will need to be something that converts visitors.

Motivation Power MRR Ebook

Motivation is a state of mind. One minute it can be there providing you with inspiration and energy to do something and the next minute it can be gone. So in this book you will learn ways to give your motivation a boost when you need it and also to stay motivated for as long as possible.

In order for you to master your motivation levels it is essential that you know what motivation really is and how it works and the first chapter will explain this. It is also important for you to know what causes low motivation levels so that you can take steps to prevent these from happening. Chapter 2 has you covered there.

To get your motivation levels up as high as possible you need to set goals. We have devoted Chapter 3 to explaining how you can set goals that will motivate you. If you get this wrong then it will probably be very tough to find the motivation that you need to accomplish your goals.

The next three chapters are crammed full of tactics and tips for a quick motivational boost that we encourage you to apply to your life. Some of these are very easy to implement and have an instant impact. Others will take practice and time.

Keeping your motivation levels high each day is the subject of Chapter 7. In Chapter 8 you will learn the best habits to keep yourself motivated and in the final chapter you will find our recommended best practices for motivation.

When you can develop strong self motivation it is one of the most important things that you can do because it will maintain your interest and secure your commitment to achieving a goal or completing a task.

People often have doubts about their ability that they have to complete a goal successfully or not. Motivation is what drives them forward whatever obstacles and barriers they face. The reality of life is that we always do the things that give us the most pleasure with very little motivation. So you need additional motivation to drive you forward when you are trying to achieve things that do not naturally seem pleasurable to you.

Self motivation can often supply the required discipline required to achieve things that seem difficult or uncomfortable to you. The higher the levels of self motivation that you have the more likely you are to complete any task and achieve any goal.

A good definition of motivation is the force within that drives us to take action. We are born with certain drives instinctively such as the motivation to drink water and eat food. If we didn't have these kinds of motivation we would die of thirst or malnutrition.

The psychological experts define motivation as being an emotional force that compels us to do something. They also believe that there are cognitive, logical and social influences which determine a person's motivation levels.

A definition of motivation that we recommend is that it compels you to make changes in your life and is the driving force behind this change. With the motivation tips that you will be learning in this book you will be able to achieve anything that you want and become the master of your own destiny.

The Three Components of Motivation

To help you to develop your motivation you need to fully understand it. There are essentially three components of motivation which we will talk about now. When you want to achieve a goal, just having a strong desire is simply not enough. You need a level of motivation that will enable you to overcome the obstacles that you are inevitably going to face.

The 3 Components of motivation are:

1. Activation
2. Persistence
3. Intensity

Motivation Activation

The activation stage of motivation is where you have the desire to accomplish something and you take some action. As an example let's say that you wanted to lose 15 pounds in the next few months. Your motivation comes from how you see yourself looking and feeling once you have achieved this goal. So the action you might take could be to start on a new diet plan or just simply commit to eating healthily and cutting out the junk food over the next few weeks. Activation is anything you do to try and achieve your goal.

Motivation Persistence

Persistence and motivation go hand in hand. When you first start to try and achieve a goal you are likely to be excited and eager to get started. After taking those first steps you may find they are really challenging and you feel like giving up. Persistence will help you to keep going no matter what. Modern life is full of many distractions and you need persistence to ignore these distractions and stay focused on achieving your goals. In order to achieve the level of persistence that you need you will need to practice the techniques that you find in this book.

Motivation Intensity

Motivation intensity is best described as the amount of effort that you reply when trying to achieve your goal. It is possible for two people to have the same level of motivation to try and achieve the same goal, and even have similar persistence levels. But the different levels of intensity will determine which of the two people will achieve their goal the fastest.

You probably know people that always move slowly and steadily towards achieving their goals a little bit at a time. We like to call these people “plodders”. Then there are the “expeditors” who do everything at a rapid pace to try and achieve their goals in the fastest possible time.

We recommend that you look for the middle ground between these two. You need to go faster than the plodder but not as fast as the expeditor. The problem with being an expeditor is that it is easy to make mistakes because you have not concentrated enough on performing the task properly.

Expeditors can also suffer burnout very quickly. You do not want to be a plodder either, because things will not happen fast enough for you and you can easily lose your motivation.

Understanding the Source of Motivation

Motivation can either be intrinsic or extrinsic. Your motivation can come from within or it can be influenced by external desires. With intrinsic motivation you want to achieve something because it will give you personal pleasure. An example here could be doing something for your partner because you get a very warm feeling inside from doing this.

When you use intrinsic motivation you are never seeking recognition from the outside. It is all about the internal pleasure from within. Extrinsic motivation is the complete opposite of this. You are looking for external rewards such as money, recognition, status, and respect from others etc.

There are actually three sources of motivation. These are needs, instincts and arousal. Let's take a look at each one of these in turn.

Needs Motivation

There are a number of theories about needs motivation. The most obvious examples of this are drinking water, eating food and sleeping.

Instincts Motivation

Humans have behaviour patterns that are pre-wired and they will become activated when a specific external stimuli is applied.

Arousal Motivation

A person with high arousal levels is more likely to do something risky like skydiving than someone who has low arousal levels.

In the next chapter we will take a look at what causes low motivation levels...

Do you feel that your motivation levels are just not strong enough? It is often the case that people with high levels of motivation label people that have lower levels of motivation as lazy or even stupid. The truth is that there are a number of factors that can affect the levels of motivation that a person has. Having a low level of motivation is rarely anything to do with laziness or intelligence. If you find yourself with a low level of motivation then the good news is that you can usually always fix this. By practicing the techniques you will find in this book you will see your motivation levels rise steadily. There are four main factors that can cause low levels of motivation. These are habitual behaviours, habitual beliefs, health problems and quirks in personality. Some people will fall into more than one of these categories and that's ok. If you think that you fall into more than one category please don't be alarmed because you can fix this.

Habitual Behaviours and Motivation

A habitual behaviour does not have to be based on a specific belief; in fact most of the time habitual behaviours have no real foundation at all. They can be just something that you have done for a long, long, time and you may feel that these behaviours are impossible to break. This is not the case.

Let's take a look at a habitual behaviour example. As a child growing up you were encouraged by your parents to eat a lot of sugar based foods because they believed that these were essential for your energy levels. Your parents didn't believe in healthy eating at all and felt that these kinds of foods would leave you lacking the energy that you needed.

When you become an adult you realized that healthy eating was the right thing to do. Even with the strongest motivation you found it difficult to break the habitual behaviour of eating sugar based foods. It took a great deal of practice and persistence for you to finally break the habit after a few weeks. We all have habitual behaviours that we are slaves to and are difficult to break. The only real way to break these habits is through determination and persistence. So if you had the habit of continuously eating sugar based foods and wanted to lose weight, you would have to break this habitual behaviour first before you was able to achieve your weight loss goals.

Habitual Beliefs and Motivation

A habitual belief is something that you have held onto for a very long time and you believe it to be completely true. You could have developed this belief as a child and over the years you have made it stronger. Not all habitual beliefs that you hold will be true or support your motivation levels.

If you want to increase your motivation levels it is important that you take a look at your beliefs to see if any of them are holding you back. If this is the case then you need to look carefully at these beliefs and critically analyze whether they are true or not. In a number of cases these won't be true and will just stifle your motivation.

Let's assume that you believe you are not a good looking person and just average. You also are a few pounds overweight. How likely are you to be motivated to lose the extra weight if you hold the belief that you are just average looking? It is not very likely is it?

After all it doesn't matter how thin you are you have the belief that you are not good looking. So why bother losing the weight? From this example you can see why habitual beliefs can really stop you driving up your motivation levels. Usually these beliefs are not true and sometimes they are not even logical.

Getting A Better Nights Sleep PLR Ebook

Sample Content Preview

Did you know that sleeping at least eight hours a night decreases the risks of obesity, cardiovascular disease, and type II diabetes? Good quality sleep is an essential component of your good health. Sadly, it’s also one of the last things most of us think about when trying to increase productivity.

However, just like eating right, staying hydrated, and exercising moderately, getting a better night’s sleep should be one of the first improvements you make to create a healthy and productive lifestyle for yourself.

A better night’s sleep will also help you reduce stress, improve your memory, and boost your mood – in addition to all the physical health benefits. When you think about it, the idea of losing weight, being healthier, and reducing stress just by sleeping better at night sounds like science fiction. But it’s not. Let’s learn more about how you can get a better night’s sleep so that you can get all these benefits.

How Much Sleep Do We Really Need?

You’ll see a lot of people claim that they don’t need much sleep. However, the truth is most of us need a lot more than we get. There are a few lucky people who, due to their genetics and a rare gene mutation, can function normally on just six hours of sleep each night.

But, six hours is still a good chunk of sleeping for many people today due to the high demands on time. Let’s explore more about how much sleep you really need each night and then learn how to ensure you get it.

Sleep Seven to Nine Hours Each Night

When it comes to getting enough sleep, while it does vary slightly for different people, most of us (as adults) need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night. The only way to be sure that you’re getting enough sleep for yourself is to experiment, but start with the longest period – not the shortest.

Sleep Quality Matters Too

Technically, a person getting enough sleep each night should be able to fall asleep within about 20 minutes without any issues and wake up within 20 minutes when the alarm goes off without much of a struggle. Then, you should be able to get through your day with enough energy to be as productive as you need to be.

About Segmented Sleep

Some people have experimented with the idea of sleeping in two chunks instead of one long night. This idea has come about mostly because many of us have lifestyles that aren’t conducive to sleeping nine hours a night, and history shows that two sleeping shifts were common in some households in the past.

During the most extended sleeping, prehistoric people would visit friends, have sex, pray, and do other calming activities during the sleep break. Not much can be done without sunlight, so nothing too active. Then after a couple of hours, they would go back to sleep until sunrise.

The main thing to understand about that past is that we did not have electricity then, and therefore night-time was longer due to not having artificial lighting. With this standard, they were often really sleeping about ten hours a night, in two approximately five-hour shifts. Additionally, people did not have regular jobs like they do now and instead lived off the land, and their time was used differently.

This method of sleeping can work for people who don’t need or want to live in the daily schedule that exists for most people who have typical day jobs and a normal nightlife. So, if you have an open schedule, it can work for you. Aim for two five-hour shifts, which should result in at least the seven to nine hours of sleep you need each 24 hours.

The main thing to do is to figure out what works best for your lifestyle. More than likely, due to how people live today, it’s easier for you to stick to a regular night-time sleeping schedule and daytime working schedule.

However, don’t force it; if you try something and after a couple months, you’re not experiencing the good health and energy you hoped, try something new. Regardless of when you sleep, getting your sleep environment right is the ultimate way to ensure you can get the quality sleep you need.

Getting Your Sleep Environment Right

No matter what time you plan to sleep, creating an environment conducive to sleep is essential. You really do need to ensure that wherever you sleep is the right temperature, is comfortable to sleep in, and makes you want to sleep. That really does mostly start with your mattress.

Get the Right Bed and Mattress

Choosing the right mattress to sleep on requires that you know your budget, your sleep position, and understand your own physical conditions that may interfere with your ability to sleep.

Know the Type of Mattresses You Like – If you like a bed with some bounce to it, you’ll need to choose an innerspring mattress, while if you like a firm mattress, you’ll want to choose memory foam. If you like something that offers both, you can choose an innerspring mattress with a memory foam topper. Some mattresses are filled with air, like the Sleep Number bed made famous by night-time commercials and the bionic woman; this allows you to control the firmness of the mattress along with your partner.

Know Your Sleeping Style – Believe it or not, the position you like to sleep in matters in terms of the type of mattress and pillows you buy. For example, if you want to sleep on your side, you may need an innerspring over a foam mattress because it may lessen the pressure points you feel on your hips and shoulders. If you sleep on your tummy, you will need a firmer mattress too, because you don’t want to suffocate inside a soft memory foam option.

Sleeping Temperature – If you tend to be a hot sleeper, it’s essential to be mindful of this when choosing a mattress. Many memory foam mattresses have a reputation of warming up quite a bit and causing people who are hot sleepers to be even hotter. If you really want a memory foam but you’re a hot sleeper, find one of the newer “cooling” options.

Dealing with Allergies -- If you have allergies to dust, pets, or the environment, finding a mattress that doesn’t add to it is very helpful. Memory foam is antimicrobial, as well as resistant to dust mites and mold. Innerspring mattresses will need to be covered with an allergy-resistant cover to help avoid the same problems. If you do have sensitivities, you’ll also want to check whether your choice is certified regarding different materials.

Don’t choose something as important as a mattress on the spur of the moment. Give it a lot of thought and go to real stores to try out a mattress before ordering. Try to purchase mattresses that offer a long return option so that you don’t waste your money. A good mattress should last between five and ten years.

Set the Room Temperature Colder

This is one of the more difficult parts to control because it will affect your budget, and it really depends on what type of home you live in. But, the ideal temperature for most people to sleep is about 60 to 67 degrees Fahrenheit.

Introduction

Google Classroom program now has 40 million users, 30 million Chromebooks students!

40 million students and educators rely on Google Classroom to stay organized and support creative teaching techniques. 30 million more use Chromebooks to open up a world of possibilities both inside and outside the classroom.

Google Classroom makes organizing and managing all of your Google Apps activities streamlined and easy. Set it up in minutes.

Thousands of teachers are certainly finding their way to Google Classroom. It has been as billed by Google: less focus on tech, more focus on teaching. It has made managing Google Apps files in schools more streamlined and communicating with classes easier. Have you set up Classroom in your classroom? If you’re like many others we know, you might not have for some reason.

Well, now is the time! This guide will show you how to set Classroom up in a matter of minutes and perform the main tasks, easy time saving hacks for teachers, how to analyse usage reports, and so many other handy tips and tricks to make your Google Classroom a success.

Happy Learning!

As the classroom is becoming more and more paperless, teachers have to start finding solutions to hand out assignments, manage their classroom, communicate with students, and so on.

A rapidly growing number of teachers are finding their way to Google Classroom. An ingenious virtual classroom that focusses less on tech and more on teaching. You don’t have to be a tech professional to handle this classroom.

In this post we will explain what Google Classroom is, and what you can or can’t do with it.

What is GC?

Google Classroom helps teachers and students to communicate and can be used to organize and manage assignments, to go paperless, for collaboration between students and between teachers, and so on! You could compare it with iTunes U, Showbie, and other online learning platforms.

It’s built on top of Google Docs and Google Drive, which means it’s very easy to use and intuitive for any teacher. But that doesn’t mean it’s boring. Google Classroom is full of surprises you’ll encounter along the way.

Things you can do with Google Classroom

So this is probably the most important question. Why would you use Google Classroom? What’s in it for you?

First of all, it’s completely free. You won’t have to upgrade to a pro version that will cost you some money. Yes, $0,00. Nothing. At. All.

After you’ve set up your classroom, you can get started. You’ll find out how to set up your Google classroom account in just a few minutes. Here’s a list of the things you can do with it:

- Add announcements and lesson material: Give your students announcements about your lesson. Add lesson materials in the announcements. That way, students

can find everything quickly. You can add materials from a Google drive, connected to that Google Classroom lesson, add files and images from your computer, add a YouTube video or add any other link you want your students to visit. You can add a BookWidgets exercise in just minutes. It’s that easy!

- Add assignments: Just like adding an announcement, you can add an assignment to your course. It works the same way, but here you get the option to add a due date. It will notify your students when they have to make an assignment and it will also appear in their Calendar.

- Grade an assignment: Afterwards, you can check and grade the assignments your students have handed in. There’s room for feedback via a teacher comment. Then, send the assignment back to your students.

- Manage students: Of course, your students have to be able to share comments. Or not? That’s completely up to you! You can manage permissions, giving students the ability to post and comment, only comment, or give only the teacher the ability to post and comment. You can even e-mail your students individually.

Things you can’t do with Google Classroom

There are a few things you should know before you start using Google Classroom with the wrong reasons. It’s an online learning platform, but it isn’t:

- A Chatbox: You can comment on assignments and announcements, but there’s no chat function. If you do want to be in direct contact with your students, you can send them an email, or you can enable other Google apps to take over that function.

- A Test or quiz tool: There are some possibilities when it comes to making quizzes in Google Classroom, but it’s still not meant to be a quiz tool. There are so many other good apps for that.

Option 1: You can add tests and assignments from other educational apps right inside Google Classroom, like for example, an BookWidgets test that gets automatically graded. Option 2: Here’s what you can do inside Google Classroom itself: Add a question. Then choose between an open answer or a multiple choice question. It’s best to choose the first option if you want to make your digital classroom more interactive.

- A discussion forum: You can make announcements, and students can really comment on them, but it’s not a great fit for discussions.

Setting up Google Classroom in 3 simple steps

This means Google Classroom must mean something to you. You’ll find it’s easy to set up and very intuitive to keep on using it. Follow these steps to set up your Google Classroom teacher account:

1. Sign up

When you go to classroom.google.com you can use Classroom by logging in using a G suite e-mail address or you can use it without “claiming” to use it for education. Everything works just fine that way too. It just harder to manage your students if you have hundreds of them. You’ll have to add them one by one.

2. Create your first class

Click on the “+” button in the right upper corner. Choose for “create a class”. Here, you fill in some detail information about your class. Write down a good class name and section. The class name should be the title of your class so you can find it back in a few seconds. Then click on “create”.

3. Invite students to your class

Once you have created your class, you can invite your students. Let them sign using the Google Classroom app by entering the unique code you gave them. You’ll find the code in your created class. Go to the tab “students”. Another option is to invite your students one by one by entering their e-mail address.

Now your online class is ready! At least, it’s there, and everyone can access it. There are a few other things you have to do before you can take off for real.

- Create your first assignment or make an announcement. Click on the “+” button at the bottom in the “updates” tab. Don’t forget to number your assignments. It’s easier for your students to see which one comes first as you are unable to reorder assignments in the stream. Click on the title to see if any students have handed in the assignment and to give grades and feedback. Afterwards, you can return the assignments to your students, so they can start editing again.

- Add some lesson material to your assignment/ class. Add material from Google Drive or add a YouTube video, a file from your computer, a link, etc. You find these options right beneath the due date. If you just want to share a presentation of your class, which is not linked to an assignment, you can go to the tab “about”. Here you can add some lesson material like slides, interesting articles and examples.

- Access the Drive folder. Every time, you create a new class, Google Classroom creates a Drive folder for that class. You can access the folder by going to all your class tiles. On each tile, you’ll find a folder icon. Click on it, and you’re in the folder. Here you can add class materials too. All your students assignments automatically end up in the Google Drive folder, so you’ll find it back whenever you want.

The Best Apps For Your Google Classroom

You can add practically everything to Google Classroom with a link to the website or page. Although, this doesn’t allow students to work interactively with the apps, on the apps. There are a lot of apps that have a built in share button to Google Classroom. This makes it easy for students to open the app via Google Classroom.

What is Facebook Marketing?

Facebook marketing is the use of Facebook as digital marketing channel. More specifically, it is the use of the Facebook platforms and its features to promote your brand, your business, and your products, to engage your audience, to collect leads, to communicate with potential customers, to build awareness, to generate traffic, and to drive sales.

Facebook is a marketing-friendly platform with a business-oriented environment, where you can build a presence for your business by providing value through content, conversations, and entertainment.

You can use Facebook for marketing at no cost, and your success comes down to the strategies that you apply and the time you put into it.

How does it work?

Facebook Marketing works primarily by building a social presence for your brand that users can interact with.

This means you are going to create a profile for your business the same you would create a profile for yourself.

In fact, the Facebook Marketing mindset is similar to the personal brand mindset: you create a page for your business that people can Like or Follow, where you are going to publish posts that sound casual and engaging to make it easier for people to interact with your brand.

Once you establish a presence and build a following, you are going to raise awareness about your products, services, and offers by curating branded content from your website or other content channel.

Right after you can start promoting your stuff a little more aggressively through contests and by sharing promotions such as discounts to get your audience interested in your stuff.

Then you can start using Facebook features for businesses, such as Facebook ads and Facebook remarketing.

Why should you consider Facebook for Marketing?

Facebook should no doubt be a part of your digital marketing arsenal. The most obvious reason why you should consider it is exposure.

Facebook is still the most visited, most active social media site that exists, with over a billion active users a month. This means that finding the perfect audience for your business is easier on Facebook.

Facebook provides you with plenty of tools to engage your audience, including business pages, groups, chat, live video, and multimedia posts.

Facebook also gives you all the flexibility you need to promote your brand and to send traffic from your pages and groups to your website.

Facebook also lets you cross-promote content to Instagram, and it lets you integrate lead capturing functions such as lead capture shortcuts on your pages.

Plus, Facebook has what is perhaps the second largest and most cost-effective advertising platform on the internet.

What benefits can Latest Facebook Marketing bring for your Business?

With latest Facebook Marketing you will learn all the steps involved in building a presence for your business on Facebook the right way.

Here you’ll also learn the latest marketing tactics that work on Facebook, and proven strategies with an amazing track record of generating results and profits for businesses in any niche.

Furthermore, with Latest Facebook Marketing you’ll learn how to create long-term brand loyalty and repeating customers at a fraction of the cost you’ll pay if you hired an agency, all by learning how to do it yourself!

What’s the future for Facebook Marketing?

The future of Facebook marketing is more automated and enhanced by novel technologies like virtual reality, augmented reality, and 360 videos. Facebook’s idea is to make it easier for customers in the platform to experience the products and services that are promoted by businesses there.

You can also have a taste of the future of Facebook marketing today by trying out stories and chatbots, yet these features are in their very infancy, but they’re worth keeping an eye on.

Today’s Concerns about Wellness and Fitness

In this wonderful age of enlightenment and advanced medicines, we should be some of the most fit, most well human beings. But, you will most often find the opposite is true. So how and why has this happened? The following report takes a look at all the components that must be present for us to be fit and well. We will examine all the necessary conditions that must be met in order for us to be fit and well. And some of the more creative, fun and unique forms that self-help and medicine have taken over the last several centuries.

As you read the following paragraphs, we’re going to walk through some of the more generalized areas of wellness, fitness and overall good health that each and every person should strive to attain. We’ll then move on to examining the various areas of individual concern, fitness, wellness, the mind, body and soul importance, and the development of good health practices. All of these areas are necessary for the whole wellness of the individual.

The Blissful Union of Wellness and Fitness

You pick up the magazines each day, and you’re bombarded with health and fitness information. Advertisements and articles that are designed to impart much needed information to the reader about the state of fitness and health in America today, and what we as responsible citizens should do. I want you to stop, and think for just one moment. How do you determine your current fitness and wellness levels? Does your regular doctor impart this information as you visit, does he inquire each time you go if you believe yourself to be fit and well? Probably not. Nor does he give you any method for determining the status on your own. Fitness centers abound in this country, and most are staffed with counselors who can test your fitness level. What about your wellness level? Are they one and the same? They are not one and the same, yet they rely heavily on each other to keep you healthy.

Thanks to the advances in modern medicine, the average person’s life span now exceeds seventy years. If you stop to think, that’s quite a long time to walk around on this earth. Along with the wonderful life expectancy increases, however have come the detrimental effects of overeating and unhealthy eating. It seems that as we advance in one area, we regress in others. This doesn’t have to be so, however. Reaching a place of responsibility, where we combine our physical health, with our wellness enhances those extra years of life.

Being fit and being well are totally different conditions. Your wellness rating is dependent upon your immune system, and what vitamins, supplements, and nutrition you provide for your immune system. Fit people can sometimes be unwell. And well people can sometimes be unfit. However, when you do combine the two, and use sound principles based on clean living, exercise, and healthy eating, you attain a state of equilibrium where you are both fit and well. It is comparable to the Chinese philosophy of yin and yang. The balance that must exist in the whole relies heavily on the balancing of the halves.

The wonderful state that is attained however, when we are both fit and well, is one of the joys of being alive. The energy levels that we experience are beyond compare, and the happiness we feel during our moments of physical triumphs, help us to put life in perspective. That’s an accomplishment we pass along to our children in the example that we set before them. We are true practitioners of the philosophies that we preach.

The example we provide for our family, our children especially, speaks volumes to them about their own responsibilities in maintaining their health. Being healthy is a true combination of wellness and fitness, body and mind. Our spirit, soul, or inner voice is a benefactor in this experience, also. Truly well and fit minds and bodies are better followers of their spirit, and spend more energy on the wellness of their spiritual aspect, also. Spirituality is a way of assuring ourselves of a renewing, and rebirth of ourselves as caring humans. Wellness encompasses our state of being, mind, and health. It is a condition of the whole. The joining of wellness and fitness in our life is a condition of the mind, body, and soul.

The Interchangeability of Wellness, Fitness and Health

As stated previously, being fit and being well are totally different conditions. Your wellness rating is dependent upon your immune system, and what vitamins, supplements, and nutrition you provide for your immune system. Fit people can sometimes be unwell. And well people can sometimes be unfit Most individuals do not take the time to completely understand the health advantages of being both fit and well. We read and absorb the information we’re given through the media and health organizations, without ever pondering if we’re receiving all the information we need, or simply the part that is profitable to be seen or heard. Fitness gyms need your monthly fees in order to remain operational. They have no real concern about the condition of your immune system. Physical fitness is a condition of the body alone. Hospitals and doctors need you as a patient in order to remain operational; they want you to know you need to be fit and well, but often leave out important pieces that affect your wellness and, therefore, your ability to be fit.

What about eating habits? What about vitamins? What role does our daily intake play in our health, our wellness, and our fitness? More than you have been lead to believe or understand. The body’s ability to remain well under anything other than ideal conditions is a direct result of the nutrition received on a daily basis. The mind’s ability to remain well is, again, a direct result of our nutrition intake. For instance, the human brain doesn’t develop well without the necessary input of protein in our daily diet You pick up the magazines each day, and you’re bombarded with health and fitness information. Advertisements and articles that are designed to impart much needed information to the reader about the state of fitness and health in America today, and what we as responsible citizens should do. I want you to stop, and think for just one moment. How do you determine your current fitness and wellness levels? Does your regular doctor as you each time you go if you believe yourself to be fit and well? Probably not. Nor does he give you any method for determining the status on your own. Fitness centers abound in this country, and most are staffed with counselors who can test your fitness level. What about your wellness level? Are they one and the same? They are not one and the same, yet they rely heavily on each other to keep you healthy.

The terms are often used interchangeably. Quite often someone will talk about their health, when they’re really addressing a fitness issue. Then you will encounter conversations where the word wellness is used to discuss a health issue. Because these issues are still new as far as the participating public is concerned, there will continue to be confusion as to the proper use of each term. It’s not so important that we use the correct term, just that we take an active role in our wellness, fitness and overall health.

The same is true when considering our quality of life, what role does our overall health and wellness play in the quality of our life?

The Quality of Life: Is Health Important?

As a matter of course, all responsible persons should take the time to educate themselves, and their children, about the benefits of healthy eating. Learning to eat for life in a health conscious way is one of the best guarantees for a long and fulfilling life. The quality of our lives is as important as the quantity to most individuals, but because of debilitating disease, we are often forced to make a decision and choose between quality and quantity.

Thanks to the advances in modern medicine, the average person’s life span now exceeds seventy years. If you stop to think, that’s quite a long time to walk around on this earth. Along with the wonderful life expectancy increases, however have the detrimental effects of overeating and unhealthy eating. It seems that as we advance in one area, we regress in others

The issue of obesity brings this debate to the forefront, what kind of quality life can someone who can barely walk because of their weight have? The first question I always ask, is how did we get here? How did we go from one of the most physically fit nations, to just wallowing in our weight? I believe the answer lies in our lack of education about the weight gaining process, and a lack of concern about our children learning how to eat and exercise correctly.

Today, we must determine how much nourishment we need, how much physical exercise we need, and how best to accomplish those ends. Calorie needs, nutritional needs, physical needs, and education about those needs now is information we should all understand, at least as it applies to our individual self. If you will visit your local doctor, library, or fitness center, there is massive amounts of information available to help educate and to help you make good health choices, no matter what the age group.

The question raised in the title of this article, would have a resounding YES as the answer. The life you choose to lead, no matter what your field of interest, your level of education, or your level of income, your life is tremendously affected by your health. Maintaining your health is one of the most important things you can do as an individual to enjoy what time you have on this earth. It is also one of the most important things you can do for you family. As we become an older population, and our life expectancy increases, do we want to become burdens on our children? Or de we want our time with our children in our retirement years to be something we and they have enjoyed?

There are so many things to do in life that allow us to enjoy the fruits of our labor. All of these options can be cut short if we haven’t taken the time to take care of ourselves.

Quality is as important as quantity. Education of the healthy choices we can make, making the right health choices, and then living life to the fullest should be the ultimate goal of every person alive.
