Introduction

Are you looking to plan a trip, but aren’t sure how to get started? Worried that you’ll make a huge mistake that’ll cost you?

Planning a trip can certainly be a daunting task for inexperienced travelers, but it doesn’t have to be so difficult. This special report highlights the most common mistakes made by new travelers so you can easily avoid them.

In addition, we’ll give you some helpful tips and travel “hacks” that will help you save time and money so you can enjoy an adventure of a lifetime without sweating the small stuff.

Planning your trip should be fun and exciting! Are you ready to get started?

Let’s begin!

Mistake #1: Failing to Plan

One of the most common mistakes that new travelers make is failing to research and plan the most important aspects of their upcoming trip.

Last minute flights, changes in hotel reservations and not creating a reasonable itinerary and schedule can cost you a lot of money, but can also leave you very disappointed in the event that hotels, restaurants and attractions are sold out or booked solid.

When it comes to planning your trip, you’ll want to begin as soon as possible.

This includes:

Creating a Rough Itinerary

Decide what is most important to you during your travels. What landmarks or attractions are a must-visit?  You’ll likely need to sacrifice a few of the places you want to visit if you hope to stay within budget and time frame but it’s important to at least come up with a list of top priorities so you can plan accordingly.

Book Flights Early

The earlier you book flights, the lower your costs will be and the more options will be available to you. You’ll also want to make sure you leave enough time in between any connecting flights.

Book Hotel Rooms

Book your hotel rooms as soon as you have decided on your destination, even if only tentatively. That way you can rest assured that you have a place to stay while you continue researching alternative lower-cost hotel chains.

Book Restaurants

You’ll want to choose at least a couple of restaurants and make advanced reservations, especially if you plan to visit busy tourist areas or want to experience a popular restaurant.  Use websites like OpenTable.com to manage all your reservations.

Book Tickets to Attractions

Once you’ve solidified your schedule, you’ll want to secure tickets to the main attractions. Usually you’ll save money by ordering online and printing off tickets prior to leaving for your trip.

While you may get lucky and score yourself a few last minute deals, typically when it comes to travel, the more in advance you plan, the more money you’ll save.

This is especially true with flights and hotel reservations.  One of the easiest ways to book tentative hotel rooms while you search for the best bargains is to use a website like https://www.booking.com

Booking.com also has an app which makes it easy to scout for lower-priced hotel rates while booking a room for the time being, just so you aren’t stuck.

Just make sure the hotels you book allow for last-minute cancellations. You may pay a slightly higher rate for the ability to cancel but you’ll still save money by avoiding penalty fees.

Expedia.com is another great resource for uncovering hot deals on all aspects relating to travel, including bundle deals on flights, hotels and car rentals. They also accept PayPal as well as all major credit cards, providing you the flexibility of paying upfront or at the time of travel.

Regardless of what resource you decide to use, you’ll want to keep an eye out for hidden costs.

While many travel websites may seem to offer you the best deal, if you dig deeper you’ll often find additional fees that aren’t part of the upfront total, including resort fees, taxes and service charges. Quite often, once you add all those fees up you’re better off going directly with the airline or hotel chain.

Also, keep an eye out for low-cost flights that seem too good to be true.

Do they offer any luggage allowance?

Are there multiple layover’s that could make it difficult to reach your destination?

Here are a few resources to help you get started:

Kayak
Search hundreds of travel sites at once.
https://www.Kayak.com

Google Flights
https://google.com/flights

Priceline
Priceline.com
Score the lowest prices on hotels, flights and car rentals.

Mistake #2: Outdated Information

You’ll want to make sure you do your homework on country entry requirements for the places you plan to visit. The last thing you need is for your trip to be ruined because you don’t have the right documentation to be allowed entry.

In addition, most countries require that your passport be valid for at least six months after arrival, so make sure you check the expiration date well in advance and renew it ahead of time, if necessary.

Further, some countries require verification that you’ve received immunization prior to allowing you entry, such as Africa and the Indian Ocean, both of which will ask for proof that you’ve been vaccinated against yellow fever.

Tip: Make copies of all important travel documents in the event you lose your original copies. Print these hard copies out and keep a copy on you at all times.

You should also consider emailing a copy to yourself and placing all of these documents into a remote folder like Drop Box, found at: https://www.DropBox.com, that you can easily access from anywhere.

Social Networking Boost Your Online Exposure MRR Ebook

USING THE POWER OF THE HE INTERNET TO NETWORKINTERNET TO NETWORK

If you've been trying to grow your business by attending as many “meet and greets” as you can, you'll be happy to discover a better way: social networking. Online social network sites, whether they are networks like Facebook or Twitter, or social news sites like Digg, offer a myriad of opportunities to meet and greet people all around the world, instead of just your little corner of it.

These days, getting online can help you market yourself by increasing your business exposure and helping you create core groups of friends and acquaintances online without having to even gas up your car. You can build a demographic of people interested in your products and services, and you can learn where these people congregate too. The power of the Internet can work exponentially to build exposure as people start to gather online and network virtually.

MAKING CONTACTS

The backbone of a good marketing campaign in the contact list, and it's no different on the Internet. Without a contact list, you don't know who is interested enough to buy your products. Typically, the list can be composed of people who have already bought your products, or who expressed interest in your business by being put on a mailing list. Online, your email manager can hold your contact list, and on social networking sites, it can be your fans or friends that join you or follow you online. It can be anyone within your demographic who has a potential to be a customer later too.

Unlike a list that people sign up to in a retail store, online people are going to look at your profile first to decide whether they want to befriend you or subscribe to your blog. You have to have some way to sell yourself online, and that's typically through the profile and content of your website. And, you have to make it easy for them to sign up.

INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Before you can even start to network or create a contact, you have to introduce yourself. In real life, you would look someone in the eye as you firmly shook their hand, and told them who you are. Online, you have to try to do the equivalent, except that you don't actually meet the other person. It's all virtual.

So, you want to make a good impression, even when you are not online, because you never know when someone will stop by. For that, you need to put some careful thought into your profile and always include a picture of yourself. You wouldn't try to meet a prospective customer with a bag over your head or a picture of a cartoon pasted on it in real life, and doing that on the Internet just makes it seem you don't want to be genuine.

Authenticity on social networks is highly valued, and the more you project the image of who you really are, the better chance that you will link up with people who share your values and interests. This is particularly important online, where anyone can become your friend, even if they may have no interest whatsoever in who you are, or what you do. So, you need to focus your profile information and anything that you put online to develop the demographic that you want.

DEMOGRAPHICS

You want to make sure everything you do helps you to tie into the demographics that are most likely to help your Internet marketing, if that's your aim. For that, you have to already have a good idea of who has an interest in your products and services. Then, increase your exposure with that crowd by joining groups, attending online events, and befriending these people. Go where this group goes and make your presence felt online by commenting, adding a link, and being personable.

You can also attract your demographic by helping to disseminate information helpful to this group, even if it's not your own copy. You can post URLs and keep people updated on things that interest them. Then, they will come to your profile when they want news on particular topics of interest to them.

NETWORKING

Once you know you're attracting the right people into your fold, you can start to network some more online. You can join blogs or create your own blog. You can create a sales page on Facebook. You can hold a non-profit fundraiser online. You can get noticed by the mainstream media. You might even go viral. Any activity that you do online ends up being residual content that stays up for the life of that website, adding to your credibility and fan base. Every year, you can end up making more and more contacts, just through the sheer power of inertia, in that something that you put in motion will stay in motion until a greater force stops it.

But, this doesn't just happen all by itself. In order to network successfully, you have to adopt a strategy that is going to get you noticed. You have to be consistent in posting and keeping up with people who comment, fan, befriend, or follow you online. When you are first starting up, it is going to take some time to promote yourself online, but once you start getting the hang of it, it becomes easier and easier.

PROMOTION

Online promotion is as hard or as easy as you make it. Having a little money to start can significantly reduce the amount of time you spend promoting your content and yourself online. Otherwise, you will have to be the person adding information and keeping up with everything. But, even then, promotion online is far easier than promoting yourself in a real life situation, because the power of the Internet increases your visibility.

Think about trying to get noticed in at a convention where 300 vendors are all competing for the few thousand of people who show up. All the noise and distraction might make it likely that you end up with fifty people noticing you, if you just stand in your booth and wait for people to walk buy. If you decide to add some element that increases your attractiveness, like a giveaway contest at your booth, then you might end up attracting 100 or more, doubling the amount of attention. Now, if you have four or five sales people in your booth and they each go to different areas of the floor and peddle your booth's offerings, they might persuade more people to visit, as they promote the giveaway contest. But, still, you are going to be limited by how many people actually walk to your booth and how many people enter your contest, to determine how many contacts you make that day.

Simplifying All Aspects Of Your Life PLR Ebook

Simplifying All Aspects of Your Life

There is no doubt that for many people, life is simply too overwhelming. Everyone is given the same 24 hours in a day, but everything you do takes time.

To fit it all in, it’s imperative to prioritize, organize, and delegate. We live in a hectic and complex world. It’s natural to want to get a lot done and to be able to point to your accomplishments. However, if you don’t slow down and set some goals for your life, personally and work wise, things won’t go as planned and will feel a lot more complicated.

=> Getting Your Priorities Right

When you want to simplify your life, the first thing that must happen is to set your priorities. This works for both your personal life and your work life. Whether it’s a large project or a small one doesn’t matter. Knowing how to choose where to start, how to organize it, and what’s most important is essential to your success.

List Every Task You Need to Do

When you have things to do, it’s essential to know what you are doing at any given time in the day. Listing out all the tasks you need to do on any given day is an excellent way to figure out how to organize each task and get it done the right way. Think of this just like Marie Kondo’s method of organizing your bedroom. You need to be able to see everything you have before you can organize it and classify it.

Put Each Task in the Right Category

Try to put each task into a category that lets you know what it’s for: personal or work. Then also identify whether this task is important, urgent, or something else. This is going to help you identify tasks that you can let someone else do, as well as identify tasks that you’re doing that you can simply let go.

Move Urgent Tasks to the Top

When you notice that some of the tasks are urgent, put them up at the top. For some people, it helps to separate work from personal, but others prefer to just list tasks in the order by which they’ll take care of them. You can make two lists, or you can put it all in one if you have correctly identified whether it’s urgent or not.

Determine the Value of the Task

One of the things you must look at for each task is its value. This is easier to identify if it’s a work thing. You know that putting an item that people can buy up for sale is going to make you money, so it has a high value. But you also know that taking your child to piano lessons is a high value task.

Know the Effort the Task Will Take

This is another important thing to note when you are organizing your tasks. It also helps to look at effort versus value to help classify a task. How long does something really take you to do? How much money does it cost you to outsource it? Identify all the resources any one task takes - whether it’s you, someone else, money, or a product that helps with it (like maybe to do this task you have to use specialized software that is expensive to buy and hard to understand). In the last case, after studying the situation you may determine to outsource, for example.

Determine Which Tasks to Cut or Outsource

Now that you have it all out in the open, it’s important to look at the tasks and determine which tasks you don’t even need to do at all, or that you can let someone else do. It doesn’t matter whether it’s cleaning your house, cooking your dinner, doing your laundry or outsourcing something at work or in your business if you have one – the important point is to let go of the things you do not need to do yourself when it’s feasible to do so.

Don’t skip this step for simplifying your life. You can separate it up if you want to, doing personal and work separately. But whether we like it or not, work and life are inextricably connected for most people today. Knowing how to prioritize at home and work will make your life much more straightforward.

=> The Power of Being Well-Organized

There are clear benefits to being organized. Several studies point to disorganization as being one of the main reasons people suffer from anxiety at work and at home. When people feel so busy, they feel as if they cannot function and that it is not suitable for them - for their home life or for their jobs. As you simplify your life and become more organized, you’ll reap all these benefits.

* You’ll Be Able to Focus More – When you are organized, focusing on a task at hand is always more comfortable because you’re giving yourself the time to focus. No one is good at multitasking. Studies have proved time and again that people just think they’re good at multitasking, but no one is.

* You’ll Become More Productive – When you plan, organize, and systemize every aspect of your life, you’ll become super-productive. You’ll get more done than most people because most people don’t plan or organize in a way that makes them more productive.

* You’ll Have More Power over Your Time – While you’re given the same 24 hours in a day as every other human being is given, the fact that you know how to use the time given is going to be a huge advantage. You’re going to feel as if you have more time even though you don’t, due to the organization of the time you have. For example, if you take a shopping list to the store, you’re less likely to have to waste time going back again.

A lot of marketers have all sorts of wrong ideas about social media marketing. Some think that you only need to post "viral content" to get tons of traffic overnight. They actually believe that if you are able to pump that much traffic to your target website, a large chunk of those people will buy whatever it is that you are selling.

Maybe you're selling services, maybe you're selling an event, or maybe you are selling products from an online store, it doesn't matter. According to this idea, you just need to have a lot of traffic; courtesy of viral content on social media, and you will get the conversions you're looking for.

There is an assumption that social traffic, regardless of which platform it comes from and regardless of how you qualify that traffic, converts to sales readily.

Sadly, none of these assumptions are true. In fact, all of them are tragically mistaken.

If you believe in any of these, don't be surprised if you spend a lot of time, effort and money only to end up with a whole lot of nothing. Welcome to the club.

Effective social media marketing can be reduced to one metaphor. Master this metaphor and you probably will make money on autopilot with social media traffic. Screw up this metaphor or remain clueless to it, and you'll continue to struggle; you'll continue to believe that social media traffic can easily be generated through viral content. You might keep running after that unicorn only to get tired and frustrated.

It doesn't have to be this way. You just have to have the right metaphor or the right conceptual model to make social media marketing work for you. Best of all, you can make it work on autopilot.

You probably have heard of all sorts of "set it and forget it" systems. You probably bought at least one of these products. Well, they're definitely on the right track as far as their label. Social media marketing can be automated. It can be mastered to the point where it can produce income after you've set it. But getting there is another matter entirely. And that's the price people have to pay.

And unfortunately, most people are not willing to pay that. They're excited about shortcuts, but they're not willing to take the stairs to get to the top. At the back of their minds, they're thinking that there has to be some sort of elevator.

There is no shortcut. You have to work with this metaphor What am I getting at? Well, the secret to effective social media marketing is an inverted pyramid. It looks like a funnel. That is the metaphor you should have in your mind when thinking of ways to get traffic from social networks and social media platforms and turning that into cold, hard cash in your bank account.

I need you to keep this idea of an inverted pyramid in your mind. It should have a wide base at the top. The top of that pyramid is heavy visibility. It has to be there. You need to be visible on the four major social media platforms. I'm talking about Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest.

Taken together, the traffic volume you can get from these four platforms is mind blowing. They can potentially pump a tremendous amount of traffic. But that's just part of the equation. That's just the top of the funnel. Potentially, you can push a lot of traffic from the top. That's how wide the top of the funnel is.

This training will focus on these four platforms, but you can pretty much use the tips that I'm going to share with you and modify them to market on other platforms since many of these principles easily apply.

You might need to modify them a little bit. For example, if you are thinking of marketing on Instagram, a lot of the things that I will teach you about Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest, can be tweaked to work well on the Instagram platform.

Now that you have a clear idea of the heavy visibility that you can achieve with social media, keep in mind that visibility does not mean traffic or clicks to your
site. This is a myth. The visibility that I'm talking about means visibility on those platforms.

When people share your content within those platforms, you can enjoy a tremendous reach within such platforms.

But this does not automatically mean that when you share content on Facebook, people who see your link on the materials shared by their friends would automatically click them.

Get the idea out of your head that raw visibility, or as Facebook terms it, "reach," automatically translates to traffic. It doesn't work that way. Instead, you need to start with heavy content visibility on each platform. People must see your stuff there. You must achieve a wide enough reach.

People may not necessarily click on through to your site, but that's secondary. At this point, you just want your brand to be visible. You just want people to become familiar with your brand.

So what's the big deal about visibility anyway? You may be thinking, since visibility doesn't mean actual visitors to your website, what good is it?

Think about it this way, when was the last time you saw an ad for the first time and automatically clicked it? If you're like most other people, you probably would want to see the ad show up a few times for you to become familiar with it. You might glance at if from time to time, you might read the description from time to time, but after enough showings, you might seriously think of clicking through.

The same applies to your content on social media platforms. Don't expect that just because you come up with catchy titles and nice, attention-grabbing graphics that this is enough for you to expect a tremendous amount of clicks to your website. It doesn't work that way.

Introduction

Over the last several years, membership sites have started to become a popular way for online businesses to make recurring income. You might have heard how profitable membership sites can be, or perhaps you, yourself has been a member of a successful membership site.

Creating a membership site for your online business is an excellent way for you to generate a recurring stream of revenue. Membership sites have become one of the most lucrative online profit opportunities available today, and it is easy to see why.

You may be interested in starting your own membership site to take advantage of the tremendous opportunity to generate recurring income; however, before you can get started, you have to understand the necessary ingredients for creating and running a successful membership website.

There are many advantages to building your own membership website, including the fact that you can create a substantial stream of income that has the potential to last for years if done correctly. As long as your site is running, and you continue to add valuable products and services to your portfolio, you will be able to have a steady stream of income.

While membership sites are often perceived as being difficult to develop, this guide will walk you through the key components that are needed to launch and successfully run a membership site. The guide will start with the brainstorming and planning phases and extend through to the post-launch process.

When you can understand the various ins and outs of constructing a successful membership site, you will finally be able to achieve the business opportunity that you have always dreamed about.

Chapter 1: Getting Started with a Membership Site

While you might already be somewhat familiar with the idea of membership sites, you may not be entirely sure to exactly what kinds of benefits you can gain from starting a membership site and whether or not it would be worth your time to focus on creating one.

There are actually a variety of advantages that are associated with membership sites that you will be missing out on if you choose not to start a membership site.

The Benefits of Starting a Membership Site

One of the most critical benefits of starting a membership site is the ability it provides you to establish your reputation or your brand. If you have a membership site for a particular niche, people will naturally perceive you to have more knowledge about that specific niche.

With a membership site, you are afforded the opportunity to become an authority site. This is something that you aren’t able to establish with just a thank you page or sales page. Here are some other benefits you can gain with a membership site.

Fewer Opt-Outs

Running a membership site also provides you with another distinct advantage in the ability to establish relationships with your customers. When you have a subscriber list that you send emails or a newsletter to, there is a good chance that at least a small percentage of those subscribers are going to be lost through the unsubscribe or opt-out option.

This is not to say that there will not be a small number of people who might choose to leave your membership site, but if they want to do so, they have to come back to your site to do so.

Improved Security

Another definite advantage of having a membership site is that it can allow you to have much better security. It is much more challenging for someone to hack into a membership site than it is for them to break into your thank you page so they can download your product without having to pay for it.

Increased Traffic

When it comes to membership sites, you also have to factor in what is known as the stickiness factor. With a membership site, you have a more significant potential to gain repeat visitors. Consider for a moment how many times you have returned to visit a site's thank you page. The answer is probably never, and that is exactly what you can expect when you try to sell your products without the help of a membership site.

While visitors might not return to your thank you page, if you provide high-quality, relevant, and helpful products and content on your membership site, you can rest assured that your visitors will come back. The key to making this work is to make sure that you give your visitors a reason to go back to your site. You can accomplish this by providing high-quality articles, new products, and more.

Easier Bonus Delivery

It is a lot easier for you to deliver additional bonuses at a later point. Unfortunately, what many people try to do is simply deliver their product through email and then toss in a line telling the customer they can also download a bonus. If you have a membership site, you have the opportunity to send out an email and request that the customer logs into their account to download the new bonus to thank them for being a member.

This is a much more personal way to provide your customers with bonuses. When they do log into their member area on your site, they will also be able to see links to the other products that you've posted, as well as links to other websites that you might have, or anything else that you want to put there. This is an excellent way to start to earn some passive income.

Passive Income

Membership websites offer the ability to increase significantly the passive income you receive because you will know that your customers will continue to come back to your site. Not only are you building that important trust with your customers, but it is also more likely that they will check out your recommendations, increasing the likelihood that they will purchase it.

Pricing

When it comes to pricing your membership site, there are a couple of different ways it can be handled. One way is to charge a one-time fee, while another option would be to charge a recurring payment. Something you need to keep in mind with charging a recurring fee is that it can be a bit more complicated with recurring billing unless you have it set up so that people don’t mind the recurrent bill for the service that you’re providing.

It all comes down to whatever niche you happen to be in. There are some markets where it will be easier to charge recurring billing than others. So, make sure you give some thought to which pricing model is best for your particular market.

Building a Successful Membership Site is a Team Sport One of the biggest mistakes that new online entrepreneurs make is trying to go it alone. It is essential to understand that creating a successful membership site is very similar to a team sport. It is critical that you find someone, or perhaps a small group of people that you can work with. The key is to find people that you feel comfortable working with over a long period. It is virtually impossible for you to go it alone in this kind of business, and the sooner you embrace the idea, the sooner you’ll be able to start your journey to success.

The Basic Steps of Starting a Membership Site

There are two basic options to consider that will allow you to have your own membership site. You can build it yourself, or you can pay someone to build it for you. Regardless of which option you choose, it is essential that you understand the necessary steps that are involved in setting up a membership site.

Choosing a Topic

The first thing that you have to do to set up a membership site is to select a topic. You will want to give this careful thought and consideration to the topic that you choose to ensure that it will be of interest to your target audience.

Focus on choosing a niche market that will be of interest to others. One way that you can determine whether the topic that you’ve chosen will be of interest is to browse through the magazine section or your local bookstore.

When you do this, you can generally assume that if someone is willing to pay for a magazine subscription to learn about a specialized topic, then the chances are high that they will be ready to pay for high-quality information on the same subject through a membership site.

Introduction

How do you go about changing your life?

Do you do it overnight?

The answer, hopefully, is obviously a resounding “no!”

Changing even a single aspect of your life takes time, dedication, and effort. Humans are creatures of habit, and once those habits have become deeply ingrained into our psyche. This is a physical phenomenon that can actually be witnessed within the brain. We’ll get to that later in this book.

And yet despite many of us knowing all this intuitively, we still seem to think that we can make huge changes to our lives on a

whim. If you’ve ever told yourself that you are going to “start a new training program tomorrow” that involves going to the gym four times a week and eating half your current caloric intake… well then you’re guilty.

There is a better solution. It’s called Kaizen. This is the Sino- Japanese word for “improvement” and it has adapted to represent a specific approach to improvement. One where you make tiny improvements, take tiny steps, toward the goal that you are working towards.

As the old saying goes: even the longest journey starts with a single step.

And what is a thousand mile hike other than lots of single steps? When you look at challenges this way, anything becomes achievable.

In this book, you will learn how to take this concept and squeeze it for everything it is worth. Whether it’s your relationships, your fitness, your health, your business, or anything else you are looking to improve; Kaizen will help you to get there.

Get ready to change your life for the better.

Starting with just a single step.

Chapter 1: Why We Need Kaizen

Before we get into the nitty gritty of what Kaizen is and why it works, let’s first consider the alternative and why it’s so important. As mentioned in the brief introduction, the approach many of us impulsively make toward self-betterment, is to try and change everything all at once. That example of starting a new training program where you train four times a week and cut your caloric intake is one that a lot of people can relate to. Perhaps you have done something similar yourself?

The only problem, is that this kind of approach completely misunderstands human psychology, and the reality of our lifestyles.

Think about it. If you are currently out of shape, then it’s probably because you aren’t working out enough, and because you aren’t eating right.

But why is that the case? Chances are, it’s because you’re currently too tired and too demotivated to do those things. Probably you come home in the evening and you feel absolutely exhausted. You just don’t have the energy or the will power to exercise, and that’s completely understandable.

And so you expect to now all of a sudden pull this kind of energy out of nowhere? You think you can go from being too tired to work out at all and to being able to work out four times a week? And let’s break down what that actually means for a moment.

It means coming home from work and then getting changed into your gym clothes. You’ll then need to drive to the gym in the cold, shower after your workout and get changed, then drive home.

Then get your stuff ready for the next workout.

So that one workout actually takes more like two hours, which means you’re dedicating a whole new 8 hours to your new regime.

You realise that’s an entire working day? Including lunch?

You’re going from NOTHING to 8 HOURS?

Can you see the problem here?

Meanwhile, you’re also expecting yourself to go out in the cold. You’re expecting yourself to be organized the night before. You’re expecting yourself to run and sweat in front of strangers, and to miss out on your favorite TV.

You’re not trying to learn one new habit, but rather learn a whole bunch of new habits. While at the same time unlearning a bunch of other habits.

And that’s not all. Now that you’re burning 8 hours of extra energy, you are also planning on eating 500 fewer calories? You’re going to work twice as hard, while taking in half the amount of energy.

This is looking like a great plan.

The Neuroscience

As though this wasn’t already enough of a challenge, what you probably don’t realize is just how much your neuroscience is working AGAINST you in a situation like this.

Our brains are highly plastic. That means they are adaptable to change and can physically restructure themselves according to our behaviors. You might think that would be good news when trying to form new habits or lose old ones.

But in fact, it also works against us. That’s because the brain adapts hard to repeated stimuli. The brain adapts and changes shape according to a very simple rule: neurons that fire together, wire together. So if you repeatedly do one thing followed by another, then those two experiences become linked in the brain over time.

And each time you do those things together subsequently, you further reinforce and strengthen that link. The connections become myelinated, meaning that the tendrils are insulated and signals travel faster down them. They grow more nodes at the connection points.

Eventually, it gets to the point where you no longer have to think about the association. Doing A automatically triggers B. Changing this takes a HUGE amount of work, and in some cases is nigh impossible.

So to attempt to make this kind of wholesale change across multiple different habits all in one go… well it’s somewhat futile. That’s where Kaizen comes in. And it’s why this is such a powerful and transformative tool. In the next chapter, you’ll learn more about it and how to put it to maximum use.

How it Happens

At this point, you might now be wondering how this happens. When you lay it all out like that, it appears obvious that making gigantic changes to your routine would never be effective. If that’s true then, why do we still spend our time determining that we’re going to “change our lives starting tomorrow.”

There are a few reasons. The first is that it’s simply that much more appealing. Nobody likes the prospect of hard work, or of something taking a huge amount of time.

On the other hand, the idea that “everything can change” in a single day is immensely gratifying. And so it should come as no huge surprise that we can get caught up in this notion.

The other issue facing us is the media. Because of course, it makes a whole lot of sense for advertising agencies to want us to take a more one-and-done approach to our self-transformation.

Gyms want to sell gym memberships. They do that by telling us that we need to go all in or go home. They tell us that we should buy all the workout equipment, the expensive protein shake, the year-long membership.

Then of course what comes next is that we feel guilty watching the money come out of our accounts every month. While we get no fitter or stronger…

A lot of people who try to sell anything online simply are not doing a good job of it. This is the main reason why the vast majority of people trying to sell affiliate products simply can't make a living off their online marketing.

It's not because these people are dumb. It's not because they are incapable of making money online. Please understand that just because you have heard that you can make a lot of passive income on the internet doesn't necessarily mean that you just need to roll up your sleeves and put up a website and, all of a sudden, all this money will come.

I hate to break it to you, but the whole idea of “build it and they will come” is just a pipe dream. It may have worked 10 years ago. But believe me. It doesn't work today. There's just simply too much competition out there.

In fact, according to several estimates, every single day, over 2 million pieces of fresh online content is uploaded every single day. Think about that for a second. Try to wrap your mind around that figure. 2 million pieces!

So it doesn't matter what kind of niche you're in. It doesn't matter how obscure or esoteric your niche category may seem to you. There is simply too much competition out there. And to think that you just put up a website and, all of a sudden, all these people would come banging on your digital door and handing you their hard earned dollars is simply a fantasy.

Disabuse yourself of that thinking if you want to have a chance of actually making money online.

How the online money making game is truly played

If you truly want to create passive income using online properties, listen up. You have to create a sales funnel. Just because you put up an online article doesn't mean that people who find that article will find it so compelling and so persuasive that they would hand you dollars. It doesn't work that way!

Instead, you have to look at them as sheep. That's right. You have to be a shepherd. You have to understand that for people to look for your content, deep down inside, they're already interested in whatever you are pushing.

Maybe you're selling a service. Maybe you're trying to promote some sort of affiliate product. Maybe you run an online store. It doesn't matter! People who read your content are somehow, someway, already interested.

But the problem is the way you position your offering plays a big role in how they would respond. You have to look at the situation from their perspective. When was the last time you bought anything online? Chances are it hasn't been all that long.

When you were looking for something online, you're not looking to hand Joe Blow 10 of your hard earned dollars. No! Instead, you're thinking to yourself, “I have a problem. I'm looking for a solution to my problem. I'm looking for a page on the internet that would convince me that they understand my problem and they can lead me to the right solution.”

This is how most people shop online. In fact, a lot of people who buy stuff buy it impulsively. It's not because they don't want to spend their money. It's just because they came across the right materials that spoke to their needs.

Even if their needs are not of the highest priority, they came across online content that appealed to those needs in the right way so they end up parting ways with their hard earned money. You can do the same. It all boils down to creating the right sales funnel.

What is a sales funnel anyway?

Look at how a funnel is shaped. It is like an inverted pyramid. It's very wide at the top and as you get closer and closer to the actual exit section of the funnel, it gets narrower and narrower. You should think of everything you do online as some sort of funnel.

As each prospect gets closer and closer to the bottom end of the funnel, there's less and less prospects. This is a good thing because the funnel works to filter people based on their interest. If you don't set up such a system, it's going to be very hard for you to convert people. That's the bottom line.

Whether you make your money through ad clicks using the Adsense monetization platform or you sell affiliate products or you sell your own services or you run your own online drop shipping store, it doesn't matter.

You're trying to convert people from simple clickers of links and readers of your content to cold hard cash. The sales funnel model helps you craft together working strategies that would help you turn your content and traffic into cash.

This book teaches you how to optimize your sales funnel. My goal is to help you realize key strategies that will help you maximize conversions and thereby maximize your profits.

A sales funnel is essentially a filtration system.

There are many different types of eyeballs your link or content will attract on the internet. Most of these are not interested in buying, at least not right now. Your sales funnel helps you process all these people so as to maximize the amount of dollars you can get out of them.

Copywriting Today

The use of sales letters had been around for as long as direct response marketing have been practiced in the conventional “brick and mortar” world.

And ever since the Berlin wall came down and the World Wide Web came up, it did not take long for people from business backgrounds to tap into the growing world of E-Commerce.

And it certainly didn’t take long for direct response marketers to carry their offline practice into the online world.

Thus, you see the practice of one-page-long sales letters being used widely today by businesses of various sizes to sell and push their products and/or services into the Internet marketplace.

This is the case, because sales letters in this fashion have been proven to be all time-tested. As you probably know by now, sales letters are really just one LONG page with one person in mind: to help sell the product to the prospect.

It’s like an electronic salesperson on your behalf, and it certainly beats having you to prospect and sell to someone else face-to-face or gamble on sending out hard copy mails (that can span 5-20 pages long when printed) and face the chance of not covering your investment on printing back.

A sales letter is considered to produce a good decent conversion rate at 2 to 4 percent. You are doing better if your sales letter produces above 4 percent. Some marketers reportedly produce 6% and some as high as 20-30% to cold prospects!

Believe it or not, online sales letter consists of mainly the use of mostly words and then some images. And words are indeed powerful tools; you should consider them double-edged swords.

If used correctly, words can sell literally. If used improperly, not only would your sales letter suffer in conversion rate, it might just deliver the wrong message and the worse case scenario can be that of offending your prospects (besides not closing the sale).

I have a sneaky suspicion that your sales letters are currently not producing the kind of conversion rates you want. Or this is your first try at developing a life long asset or skill where marketing online is concerned.

Perhaps you want to seek all ways possible to offer your sales copies a boost without having to spend a fortune on expensive copywriters in the process because you don’t have the deep pockets for it at the moment.

Regardless of your current needs, I trust that you will find this guide useful and that when you apply these tips into your sales copies, you will see substantial results in your conversion rates.

Read on and discover how tips you can use to MAXIMIZE your conversion rates by making MINIMUM changes and additions to your current sales copies!

Headline & Sub-Headline

1. Color your headline red.

The color “red” usually symbolizes urgency or importance. Alternatively, you can use “black” or text with “yellow highlight in the background” if “red” won’t suit your sales copy’s color theme.

However, it is advisable to use “red” as the color of your headline plus this color can be used with almost any theme color suitably.

2. Your headline font must be larger than the standard font used for your sales letter.

The purpose of your headline is to grab your prospect’s attention to read and qualify him or her. Thus it’s important for your headline to stand out from the rest of your standard font.

Usually, the headline font is 1 or 2 times larger than your standard font.

3. Imply a benefit or a summary of your offer in the headline.

And the benefit should often refer to your prospect, not YOU or someone else. Even if you are using another character in the headline, make absolutely sure that it ultimately has to do with your prospect and why or how it could benefit him or her.

Introduction

What would you say if I told you that you are probably ignoring one of the most powerful features that Facebook has to offer marketers?

Facebook groups – that’s right groups, not pages – have huge potential for marketers that all too often gets completely overlooked.

A group has the power to completely transform the way you engage with your audience, massively increasing brand loyalty, conversion rates, and profits.

The power of the Facebook group lies in its more intimate nature. This isn’t a case of bringing lots of followers to your channel. Rather it is about communicating with those existing followers in order to build trust, authority, loyalty, and rapport. Facebook groups provide among the most powerful and effective ways to achieve this. And this is what makes ALL the difference when it comes to business success.

Groups meanwhile create marketing and business opportunities that simply don’t exist with other forms of marketing. They can even be used as an internal tool for managing your organization and creating more of a strong team dynamic among your employees.

We’ll get to all that later on. But even just on the face of it, in terms of pure numbers, there is every reason to create a Facebook group. After all, over one billion people use groups every day, which is just under 1/7th of the entire population of the planet. More than 100 million people describe groups as being the most important part of the Facebook experience.

This is a strategy that can completely transform your business fortunes in other words. And in this book, you’re going to learn precisely how to put groups to work for you.

Chapter 1: Why You Need a Facebook Group

As we have already discussed in the introduction, the true power of the Facebook group lies in its ability to engage directly with your followers, fans, and customers.
Facebook groups on the surface operate very much like a Facebook page, but whereas posts you share to your page will be seen by non-followers in other networks when they get liked and shared, posts inside your group will only be visible to members. Likewise, a Facebook group won’t use calls to action in the same way as a Facebook page and won’t allow you to make promoted posts.

We’ll get more into the nitty gritty of what sets a Facebook group apart from a page in a moment, but the main thing to know is that a group is ideal for talking to followers and NOT for bringing new people in.

Facebook Group Posts Versus Facebook Page Posts

Posts will appear on members’ home feeds and will be given more importance than posts from pages. That’s because a group is primarily intended for social activities like parties, or groups of people with common interests. The assumption is that if someone has joined a Facebook group, it’s because they want to discuss that topic with people in the community. This is subtly different from a Facebook page which is a much more business-oriented tool that is more likely to contain promotions and marketing that the followers DON’T want to see all over their feeds.

“1000 True Fans” - Creating a Thriving Community Around Your Brand

The essay entitled “1,000 True Fans” by Kevin Kelly, explains that in order for a brand or business to truly thrive and sustain itself, it needs 1,000 “true fans”. What is meant by that?

Essentially, what is meant is that as long as you have that many genuinely passionate followers, your brand will go from strength to strength. While this might not seem like a huge number in the grand scheme of things, the reason for this is that TRUE fans are those that consume every piece of content you put out (and buy into it), buy every product, and also act as your ambassadors. These are followers who will tell their friends about your products and will post to forums to share your latest video.

When you build this kind of following, you have a guaranteed customer base, but also the seed and momentum that can grow into something absolutely huge. Those thousand fans WILL bring in more fans, and those fans will bring in more as well!

The other way this is often described, is that it is far better to have a mailing list with 100 people on it that read your emails, than it is to have a mailing list with 2 million people on it who never open them.

If you have enough engagement and trust with your brand, then you can earn a living with only a very small following.

And this is where so many businesses go wrong. It’s what so many businesses miss. That’s because a huge proportion of businesses are focused only on numbers, and they therefore don’t spend time on ‘aftercare’ or looking after those members.

Turn your customers into fans who love your brand, and you will be able to enjoy unprecedented success.

How does a group help with all this? Firstly, by letting your customers and followers become part of a community – which has a profound psychological impact – and secondly by allowing them to communicate with you directly, thereby creating a huge amount of trust. A Facebook group in many cases will act as a kind of “insider’s club”, which in turn can gain you a lot of loyalty and enthusiasm.

No longer is yours a faceless organization. No longer do you seem distant and unknowable. And no longer is yours just a bland logo on a useful product they buy.
Instead, the customer has become part of a tribe. They have chosen to get behind your message and to take part in the very direction of your brand. In so doing they feel a kind of ownership of that, and they become far more invested in what you have to say. Your brand becomes a part of their identity even.

This might sound extreme, but it is essentially the difference between a company like Apple, and a company like ASUS. ASUS does well because it makes good products and has a strong marketing budget. But Apple is one of the biggest brands in the world because people get excited every time a new Apple product comes out. And that’s because Apple is MORE than just an electronics manufacturer to those fans.

Chapter 2: More Uses For a Facebook Group

In the last chapter, we discussed at length the importance of having a Facebook group. Here, we saw that it would allow you to contact your followers and customers in a more direct and intimate manner, which could in turn be highly effective in creating a stronger relationship and more engagement with those users.

But that’s just one thing that sets Facebook groups apart as being such useful part of your digital marketing strategy. There are actually a number of different ways that you can utilize Facebook groups in order to mobilize your fan base and potentially increase your engagement and profits. Read on for some of the most effective.

What Comes To Mind When You Think Of Confidence?

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” – Mahatma Gandhi This is exactly what I think serves as a recipe for confidence. If you are going to live a fulfilled life, then you must have the confidence to go after the things that make you happy. In other words, you have to demonstrate confidence in yourself; abilities, personality, and intellect. So, what is confidence? Well, the truth about unshakeable confidence is living true to yourself. It is all about embracing your true self. To do this, you must believe that you have full control of your life, and not letting circumstances hinder you from your life purpose. You have to decide the value of your true self and never allow yourself to be defined by someone else’s opinion. The more you do this, the more it becomes effortless to express confidence. When you master the art of embracing your true self, you will realize that the doors of opportunity are all around you. You will be spoilt for choices. When limitless opportunities come your way, there is no more room for fear of scarcity. Soon, you’ll realize that you can live a life of abundance. This is exactly what I consider an effective pathway to unshakeable confidence and a fulfilled life.

Chapter 1

Three Pillars of Unshakeable Confidence

Pillar 1: Experiential Confidence

When I was a teenager, one thing that scared me the most was chatting up women, especially strangers. Making the initial approach felt impossible and made me feel like I had completely lost strength in my feet. It simply made me shut down!

Now, two decades later, I can’t wrap my head around what it is that I was so afraid of.

The truth is, you and I can overcome fear and easily do the things that we once thought impossible, simply because we now have experience. I was able to push through those frightening moments and conversation. Now, I can strike up a conversation with every person I find, on the train, coffee shop, or at the office.

I have the confidence to do pretty much anything I put my mind to. It is just like learning to drive on the highway for the first time. At first, it was scary, but with time, you adjust, and your body learns that it does not kill you.

Well, this kind of confidence is what is referred to as experiential confidence. It is the type of confidence that you gain through experience. You have developed this type of confidence at some point in your life. The first step is to have the courage to act and take risks. Each time you fail, you build that confidence because you understand that failure is not permanent.

One thing that you have to appreciate is all the things that did not work out in your life because they allowed you to learn. It is through the past failures that we have confidence today. Therefore, if you want to build your experiential confidence, the first thing that you need to ask yourself is what is the worst thing that could happen if you fail? Will you die? If not, then there is no reason to back down. You must understand that everything you act against fear, you grow your experiential confidence, and all the tasks that is difficult now will be easy later on.

Pillar 2: Emotional Confidence

This simply refers to the kind of confidence that you can turn on at will. Well, here’s an example: I started working for an International company at the age of 21 as a project assistant. One time, for some reason, I wanted to work from another city for three weeks. However, I was so nervous to ask my boss for permission to work away from the main office. Did I eventually do it? Definitely.

Well, I first had to prepare myself mentally. I started by brainstorming how I would walk into his office, present my case, and how I would handle his responses. I created a small decision tree with all the possible ifs, how and why questions he would ask and what my responses would be. This was to help me stay on top of my game so that nothing caught me off-guard. In other words, I needed this to maintain my composure.

What I was essentially doing was tapping into my emotional confidence by learning the tips and tricks of controlling my body language so that I do not send out the wrong message. If you control your body, then you will be able to control your emotions. On the contrary, if you fail to control your body, then your emotions will be running all over the place.

What I simply did was rehearse every statement I was going to say, and how I would do it, with a firm handshake, smiling face, and shoulders high. What I realize was, when you resist the urge of crossing your arms and showing your anxiety, the conversation flows naturally, and the other party eases into the discussion. That is how you gain emotional confidence.

It is important to note that, emotional confidence serves a great purpose especially when you are caught in a situation that you already anticipate; for instance, a presentation, a difficult conversation with your superiors or parents, a performance, etc. Unlike experiential confidence, emotional confidence is not limited to just a single domain.
