BALANCE
We are able to live a balanced and fulfilling life by centering on spiritual development as a top priority, and by devoting time to the other areas: physical, mental, career, financial, family, and social/recreational.
We can provide balance in our lives by keeping up our wellness and vitality; developing a clear mind and a positive mental attitude; discovering our talents and doing your part in a meaningful career; meeting our financial needs and responsibilities; taking care of our responsibilities to family; taking time out for fun; and building meaningful friend-ships.
FAITH
Belief in ourselves and trust in a Higher Power can help us through tough times.” Letting go and letting God" enables us to accept and appreciate life in all its diversity. Faith in a Higher Power allows us the stability and peace we need in life.
FORGIVENESS
Forgiveness comes from a compassionate heart. Were able to find strength to forgive ourselves and other people. Retaliation and violence are often the consequence of a lack of forgiveness. A forgiving attitude gives us serenity.
HONESTY AND INTEGRITY
Being dependable gives us dignity and faith in ourselves. We can be honest without hurting the feelings of other people. Honesty is what we do when no one is watching in addition to when other people are present. Integrity includes honesty and requires adhering to our values and morals. People of integrity do not compromise their principles for money, comfort, or quick results. Integrity demands courage and the strength of one's convictions. This individual serves as an admirable example for other people.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Positive relationships revitalize us. Relating easily with other people decreases feelings of solitude. Perceiving the beneficial qualities in other people and showing appreciation are keys to having better relationships. Listening to other people is one way to let them know they are important to us.
As our ability to listen and communicate improves, so does our strength in building successful relationships. Though we may disagree with somebody, we can select words that show regard for that individual’s viewpoint. Learning to relate effectively with other people is a skill that can be developed.

Communication Basics
Since our minds are crammed with so much of information, there is very little time or space to indulge in frivolous and irrelevant information thus the need to be precise and quick when communicating. With hectic schedules and distractions to contend with, it is often quite hard to take the time to stop and pay attention to what is being communicated.
The Basics
The following are some recommendations on how to ensure the information being communicated is done so in the shortest possible time frame, and yet fully understood by the receiving party:
• Perhaps the most effective way of communicating information and having it understood is to ensure there is constant eye contact with the recipient, throughout the length of the communication session. This should also be done in a precise and quick time frame where the information is presented as concisely as possible.
• Getting the recipient to summarize and repeat, what has been communicated is also another method of ensuring the information is both heard and understood. This is also another way to ensure the content of the information stays the same as it was presented and there are no additions or distortions to the content.
• The language design and phrasing should also be in line with the recipient’s capability and understating levels. Talking to someone who is not savvy in the technical jargon used will not only be a waste of time and effort, but it would also seem pretentious to those around. This type of communication would not effective at all.

You Must First Understand Yourself And Your Message
Problems usually arise when information dispersed is not really understood by the individual doing the dispercement exercise. This has a lot of negative connotations to it as the said information content may not be dispersed as it was first designed to represent. Here in lies the problem of good communication that is faced by any level in society, which more often than not, results miscommunication or misinterpretation of the said information.
Understanding
There are three main components of communication, which affects the overall understanding of what is being communicated.
These would include the verbal, nonverbal and paraverbal platforms used.
The following are some tips on how to ensure the information is first thoroughly understood by the presenter before it is presented to others:
• By understanding the content of the message intended to be shared with others the individual presenting the message will ideally utilize either all three of the communications components, or at the very least two components at any given time. This will allow the recipient of the message the opportunity to fully grasp, both the content and its impact meant to be made through the communication session.
• When the content of the message is completely understood by the individual, he or she will be able to design or choose the suitable verbal, paraverbal or nonverbal messaging style that would effectively get the message across to the receiving party. Without this initial understanding factor, the individual would be hard pressed to make the presentation of the message impactful enough to get the desired results.
• Another important effect that is desired from thoroughly understanding the message content before presenting it, is that the consistency in the message itself will be presented in a way that is less confusing and inconsistent according to the perception of the recipient.

Now you might argue that of course you’re no Einstein. You’re not a musical prodigy or a record breaking athlete. It would be overblown to think that you could ever approach the success of any of these historical figures or world-class celebrities.
But does that really mean you need to spend your time just… passing time?
And are you really happy that way? Or do you feel on some level as though there are better uses of your time?
Whether you’re happy or you feel in a funk, the truth is that life gets a whole lot better as soon as you fill it with meaning.
That means finding your life’s purpose. Finding the thing that you’re passionate about. And then focussing on that.
As soon as you do this, you will unlock entirely different levels of focus, of inspiration, of engagement, of charisma. Life suddenly has structure, it makes sense, and you become far more alive. You stop daydreaming and sleepwalking through life and you instead begin to forge your own meaningful path.
You’ll get more out of the time you have on this Earth, and truly there is little that is more worthwhile than that.
When you find your purpose, you’ll even become healthier… even become more attractive.
It won’t matter whether success follows because you’ll be content to spend your days pursuing this thing without any kind of financial reward.

So, why is it that finding your purpose can change everything? How does this help you to truly come alive? Why is this the key to success?
Have you ever heard someone tell you that they find passion to be a turn on? Think of that sexy violinist all in black, who is taken away by the music and who has the crowd eating out of her hand. Or an incredible dancer.
In fact, finding passion can actually be a trick for brining more romance and excitement back into your relationship. The sexist thing is the other. The unknown. It is seeing someone who is highly motivated and driven, who is passionate about what they do. When you spend all day on the couch with someone, the magic goes. You become too close. It’s hard to want what you already have.
Get some distance. All each other to grow. Explore your own individual passions and hobbies and let them do the same. And you’ll suddenly find that you both become more interesting to one another again. And for those of you who are single? Stop focussing outward by trying to impress people. Start focussing on yourself and what you love, and you’ll become endless more magnetic.
