Email Signature

This is a merge field that you're able to use inside of most of your broadcast messages and your autoresponders.

It's a feature of your email service provider.

Once set up, your email signature will be dynamically inserted into your messages. Strategically use this for time sensitive offers, promotions, or some type of focus desired action that you want in that moment that can be relatable to the rest of your messages that you have.

Of course, inside of your follow-up messages, where you already have a substantial and strong call to action, you're going to avoid using your email signature.

For your general follow-up messages, with good content you'll want to use that email signature, so that you can drive traffic to whatever offer is most important to you at that particular time. Change up your email signature at least once per month. Especially at the beginning, so that you can see the impact that it has on your business and make decisions based on those results.

Webinars

Your email list health will get a boost when you do frequent webinars. You'll get new subscribers and you'll be able to reengage your existing subscribers every time you do a new topic. Do not be afraid to repeat topics every single week.

You also want to do webinars, because they are perfect proving ground to test out new products and service ideas that you may happen to have. Of course, webinars provide a fantastic sales boost for new buyers and upgraded customers.

1. Choose which email service provider you wish to integrate with.

2. Choose which list you want to connect people to when they click link. You'll want to integrate that link with your notifications if you want to receive their information to your inbox. You'll want to integrate it with your webinar host if you're connecting people to a webinar registration.

3. Next, you'll want to set your thank you page and name your link.

4. Then save your link, then copy this link and insert it inside of your broadcast or your follow-up message.

5. If you want to use a partner to send out a link on your behalf, choose which email service provider that they're using for their list and copy the corresponding link.

Email-Only “Exclusives” and “Specials”

Increase your revenue with your email list by sending out email only specials. These subscriber only purchase opportunities that can be sent out via email on occasion, based on your own preference, holidays, or just for random marketing tests.

Use these types of specials for non-customers for your primary product, and your current customers should receive email special offers for upgrades and cross-cells.

Make sure you're communicating to each of those groups appropriately. Do follow-up email clusters. Make a theme for three to four messages in that email cluster, and send those messages out over the course of about a week.

5. Conferences & Events

Is there a company trade show coming up soon? Or maybe you are speaking at a conference? Change your email signature to reflect that. While your email signature might not necessarily help you generate more registrants, it will surely spread the word about the event and gain some awareness among your target audience.

6. New Marketing Offer

If you are an inbound marketer, you must have a few offers lying around. They could be a number of different things, such as whitepapers, ebooks, webinars, or kits. Which ones are the best at converting traffic into leads? (You can tell by looking at their corresponding landing pages' visitor-to-submission rates in your marketing analytics). Identify your best performing offers, and then expose them to more traffic! Use your email signature to share a link to a popular ebook or a webinar. Or if you're currently featuring a new campaign that highlights a particular offer, use that in your signature instead.

7. Case Studies

Salespeople love this one! If you're talking to potential customers, what’s better than sharing stories of successful ones? Use these examples profusely, and make sure you highlight some data points. For instance, you can mention how the ROI of a customer has increased since they started using your services or product. You can even quote a customer in your email signature!

8. Industry Research

Speaking of data, don't underestimate the impact that facts and figures can have in a marketing context. People on the web are overwhelmed with vague information, which encourages them to look for specifics. If you publish an industry report based on proprietary research, consider including a link to it in your email signature.

9. Free Tool

If your company happens to have a free tool, such as an online calculator, educational game, or even a free trial, give it some marketing love. Free online tools have the power to engage readers and get them further interested in your product or service.

10. Demonstration of Your Product / Free Consultation

When you are having a tough sales month, consider using an email signature that promotes a free consultation with your team or even a demonstration of your product. In that way, you'll increase traffic to these middle-of-the-funnel marketing offers and show your sales organization that you're taking advantage of every possible opportunity to help them out.

In this message, ask their feedback about the offers you've been making and/or your business. Mention that you're doing a survey of why some people are not open to this type of offer or solution or why they are hesitant to join. You'll get some good feedback of the concerns that other people have about your program and if these concerns arise again, you can expect some answers that you can give to your prospects. Lastly, leave a link to your website, the offer, and anything else like your social networks, and encourage them to connect with you.

These are just sample email templates that you can write and upload them into your autoresponder system. They don't have to be in an order like above and they don't have to be only 7 of them. You can write as many as you want about any subjects that you like. However, observe that in every email message that you write, you want to end with a call of action for your prospects to visit your website or contact you for more information.

A good website, with direct-marketing sales copy, can do a lot of back end converting for you, and potentially make you a ton of sales Now that you have your messages uploaded into your autoresponder system, you want to let a lot of people know about your mailing list.

But, before that, you need to give a reason why these people should request more information from you and be in your mailing list.

Building Your Email List (To Use Those Follow Ups)

Some companies decide to send customers a free newsletter to get an email list. But there are other ways to collect email addresses.

Sometimes having a newsletter just doesn’t make any sense for your company. For instance, if you happen to sell dishwashers, how much information could you send your customer, daily, on dishwashers.

So, instead here are a few other options for increasing your email list.

You could run a contest. The puzzle, game or task should be easy and straightforward so that you don’t frustrate the customer and you still get their email address in the end.

A great incentive to collect email addresses would be a free eBook. People love getting free stuff, especially eBooks that interest them. Remember, it doesn’t have to be 100 pages long; five to ten pages will work fine.

Surveying the customer is a great way to collect email addresses. You can find out what the customer likes/dislikes, and what they have problems with or need solutions for. Advertise your opt-in offer in an e-zine or classified ad. It actually doesn’t cost tons of money and if you find the right place to advertise, you could see dramatic results.

Email signatures, or electronic signatures, is a three to six line footer that you can add to the bottom of each email message you send out with your name, company and a free report with a link attached. You will be surprised how many visitors you get this way.

10 Tips For Effective Email Content MRR Ebook

Frankly, if you decide to go into a business, you most probably already have an interest in it. Like how many basketball players become coaches, you don’t really venture into something you don’t have any interest in.

Show your clients that you know what you are talking about. Provide them with helpful hints and guidelines that pertain to what you are selling. Talk about how to install a roof if you're selling roofing materials or provide articles on insurance settlements if you are a settlement lawyer.

You do not have to be a big corporation to make use of an opt in list. If your customers see you as someone who knows what he is doing and saying, they will trust you quickly.

Be true to your customers, if you want to hype up your products and services, provide guarantees. The more satisfied customers you get, the bigger probability there is, that they will recommend you.

Generally, people will trust someone they know, when that someone recommends you, then you’re a shoo-in. They will go to your site and check it for themselves and be given a chance to experience what the others have experienced from you, so make sure to be consistent in the service you provide.

Another tip in getting a customer to trust you quickly is to provide them an escape hatch. Show them that you are not there to trap them.

Keep a clean list that would enable them to unsubscribe anytime they want. Elaborate your web form by providing information on how to unsubscribe from the list. Guarantee them that they can let go of the service when ever they want to. Many are wary that they may be stuck for life and would have to abandon their email accounts when they get pestered with spam.

Auto-responder Buyers Guide MRR Ebook

You may not be aware of the various uses for autoresponders in association with your online business. It doesn’t matter what type of goods or services you are offering.

Many people know that an autoresponder is a great way to thank someone for their purchase and offer them a confirmation of the order. You can also use them to create an E-zine or a newsletter. These are both great ways to offer those on your opt in list free information that builds a good relationship.

There are some different aspects you need to be aware of when it comes to using an autoresponder for an E-zine or newsletter though.

You will need to find an autoresponder that offers you the chance to use a broadcast feature. This is because you don’t want this particular message to go out at scheduled intervals. That is a common feature that works well when someone new signs up for your opt in list because you want to have a series of messages that go out to them with enough time between each one. With the broadcast feature, everyone on the opt in list will get the E-zine or newsletter delivered to them on the same day. It won’t matter which e-mail they are set up for with the autoresponder in relation to the predetermined messaging sequence.

It's also generally a good idea to have your E-zines and newsletters archived on your site as well for a number of reasons. For instance, this will allow individuals who missed earlier editions to go back and read the materials.

Other than that one major difference, you will use the autoresponders the same way as before. Once you have completed the material for the E-zine or newsletter you will need to copy and paste it to the editor.

Next you will select your broadcasting feature that you want to use and everyone on your mailing list will receive it. This is a very simple process to set up and it gives you the opportunity to reach a large amount of people quickly and inexpensively.

It is also important to rely on your autoresponder to manage your list for you. As the number of people on your opt in list continues to grow it will be more difficult to take care of manually. Using the autoresponder allows you to take care of requests for being removed or changes to email addresses quickly and efficiently.

Many autoresponders you can use for publishing an E-zine or newsletter also allow you to track the success rate so you can see how many people are going to your website as a result of the information they get from such materials.

Chapter 10: Conclusions and Bringing it All

Together

We’ve seen a lot of disparate ideas and actually learned a lot about psychology throughout the duration of this book. Hopefully all this has helped you to better understand the workings of your own brain and how this information can be used to suppress anxiety and combat panic attacks. At the same time, hopefully it has shown you how you can ultimately take complete control over all your emotions if only you’re able to put in the right practice and use the right approaches.

To help you get started with this then, let’s take everything we’ve learned and summarize it in a few simple steps for you to follow…

Breathe – When you feel anxiety coming over you, make sure to breathe deeply and fully, thereby activating the parasympathetic nervous system and triggering the ‘rest and digest’ state. You can try ‘equal breathing’ to this end.

View it as a challenge – To change a stress response into a flow state, try to see it as a fun challenge rather than a serious risk. This will help you to feel focussed without the negative anxiety effects.

Act normal – Most importantly, don’t worry about the stress and don’t fight it – continue to act as normal and let it run its course.

Employ power positions, grounding, priming and facial feedback if you get the chance Breathe correctly – Breathing is important enough to appear twice on this list. It’s the title of the book after all! Whether you’re having anxiety or not, try to breathe the correct way and use abdominal breathing to improve your health and mental state.

Learn meditation – Another type of training you can do is to practice meditation and learn to have better control over your own mind.

Practice CBT – Most importantly of all, practice using CBT in order to reprogram the way you think and the way you perceive situations. This means noting down your thoughts during mindfulness meditation and it means challenging your negative thoughts. You can also use visualization and even hypothesis testing. Try facing your fears gradually and you’ll learn to stay entirely cool in those situations in future!

Natural search or what they term "organic" search traffic is great, but it takes a while to build up. But there are other search engines you may not be aware of. They're specifically geared toward searching for blogs.

One of the oldest is Technorati at https://technorati.com. If you have a blog and haven't "claimed" it at Technorati, it's probably a good thing to do. Your site will be indexed and ranked, and you could pick up an audience, too. The more people who like your blog the higher it will rise in the rankings.

There are other less "interactive" blog searches, too, like Blogsearch. Google.com or IceRocket, but there are many more. List your blog with as many as possible. But the interactive sites are very popular right now. I'm sure you've heard of MySpace and YouTube, or you've been hiding in a closet somewhere. These sites bring traffic, but there are hundreds of sites that will have the same effect, if you get involved in what's called "Web 2.0."

StumbleUpon: When you write a post, you can "StumbleUpon" it. Give each of your pages a StumbleUpon vote and watch your traffic soar. To get to that page, rather than just the first page of your blog, you'll need to click on the post's title (if you're using WordPress) or click on a link that says "permalink." That will take you to a page with the precise post number included. StumbleUpon those each time you post.

Reddit: This is somewhat like Digg, except it's A LOT more popular and is often responsible for sending things into worldwide viral status. There's a section on this site for just about every topics you can think of. You can create an account and submit your offer, picture, or anything to the “sub-reddit” to get traffic. People then upvote or downvote your post, which impacts it's overall visibility. You need to make sure that the content you post is relevant and valuable to the community in order to increase your chances of higher exposure. It's also important to interact with the community regularly if you want to make tons of connections and build a dedicated following.

Digg: Digg was created mainly to mark news stories for its members--news stories of interest. Well, when you post to your blog, that's news right? Unless you've posted nothing but a picture or silly nonsense or random musings, Digg will accept your vote for other people to see what you've voted on. Be sure that your post is an article, though, or your page might be "buried." You don't want that.

Most of these sites work the same way or similarly to the sites above. Others include Furl, and RawSugar, but there are hundreds. Sign up for as many as you can, and each day enter your posts into as many sites as you can. The more you enter, the more your traffic you'll get to your blog.
