It seems that the battle of the bulge has hit just about every age group and walk of life. There is a serious epidemic of childhood obesity happening in this country, and therefore families need to figure out ways to get and stay fit. As many families try to think of attractive ways to get fit together, they often turn to cycling. This is an excellent way to burn some calories, get in shape, and enjoy some family bonding time. So for those families searching for a family activity that will allow them more time with each other and even help them to get in shape, cycling is the answer.

Parents want the best for their children, and when they see that their kids are unhappy or overweight they quickly realize that it’s time to do something. The problem with so many types of exercise out there is that they feel too much like exercise and therefore kids won’t stick with it.

Cycling however offers something easy to get into, interesting, and presents an excellent opportunity to bond with the family unit as you get fit. This is truly a win-win for many parents as they get to spend some time with their kids and allow them to get in shape in the process. For most kids, cycling doesn’t feel like a massive undertaking or an exercise regimen, it is instead something to look forward to as an activity to do with mom and dad.

Cycling can start off rather simply as just a spin around the neighborhood or even around the block if you need to start small. The key to getting kids involved in any activity is to start off slowly and ease them into the physical part of it so that they don’t get bored or frustrated.

Cycling can start off slowly and be built up to giving kids some great goal setting potential as they build up their endurance and ability. Once the family overall starts to get in better shape, then it’s time to step it up and find some fun routes and paths for the family to travel on. Cycling can quickly become something to look forward to whenever time permits as every time out is a new adventure. The kids can get involved in picking the spots or paths that the family sets out on. You quickly see how cycling can not only become an excellent family bonding activity, but one where the entire family gets in shape without ever feeling like they are exercising.

Decorating small rooms always seems difficult. Due to less space you need to plan carefully. You need to know where to place the furniture, what colors will suit the walls and what accessories to buy. All you need is proper arrangement. It’s not that difficult to turn your decorating project into a reality if you follow some simple decoration tips for small rooms and small spaces.

Avoid using warm colors like red and yellows, as they will make a small room seem more small and intense. Since bright colors make a room seem more spacious, go in for colors like blue, green and purple. Usually shades of white and cream look great with “graduations” of accent colors. In case you have a white sofa then you can visualize three shades of rosy pink pillows against it. Use light color for the ceiling, as it should be in contrast with the walls. You can use large patterns in accessories like pillows and throws, but use smaller patterns for wallpaper and furniture.

Simply hang a framed mirror on one of the walls and notice the change in ambience. A modest dining area will appear much larger than the actual size. Thus it enhances the room’s dimension and also creates an illusion of space. In case of small rooms, space is a big problem. So minimize the size of your furniture to maximize space. Reduce the number of furniture pieces so that you get more space. Choose a flat screen TV so that it can be mounted on a wall. Wisely select your furniture like armless chairs that seem to add to the space in the room. Select a coffee table which has multiple shelves below or one that has a lid that lifts to store books, magazines and other similar items.

Make use of combining textures in your décor. This gives a unique appeal, dimension and depth to your small room. You can try new accessories and fabric to create an impact. For example you can chose stone, metal, chrome, copper, bronze, mirrors, shiny fabric, textured fabric etc. Consider daybeds with pullout trundles for small bedrooms. As these daybeds occupy less space and accommodate two people at a time, they offer real value for the money spent. Screens are very useful to divide the rooms for multipurpose in case of a small house or apartment. Place the taller furniture along a far wall and the shorter ones away from the wall to create an illusion of space.

Consider low-back or backless stools in the kitchens to add to the available space. Lighter walls, shelves and cabinets do well to add to the space too. Adding a touch of color by painting one accent wall in the room is the best way to draw attention to that area of the room. Your creativity and imagination will help you to change your decoration project into reality and will make you feel very happy with the end result.

Natural Treatments For Dandruff Mrr Ebook

There are some anti-dandruff shampoos that are based on natural or relatively natural substances that you might want to consider using as an alternative to those that contain potentially damaging chemicals.

The two most common and widely available commercially produced shampoos that are based on natural substances are those which use tea tree oil or coal tar.

Tea tree oil or Melaleuca oil is taken from the Melaleuca alternifolia tree that is found on the north-east coast of New South Wales in Australia. It is a natural antibacterial, antiseptic, germicidal and fungicidal oil that had been used for hundreds of years as a medicinal treatment for a huge range of medical conditions by the native peoples of Australia.

Given all of these qualities possessed by tea tree oil, it is not surprising that it should be an effective additive to many leading brands of antidandruff shampoo. The natural antifungal qualities of tea tree oil will help to keep down the amount of yeast on your scalp, with most commercially produced tea tree oil based shampoos containing around 5% of the oil, which has been shown to be the most effective concentration in a commercially produced shampoo.

In fact, extensive research in Australia as reported in 2002 in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology indicated that a tea tree oil shampoo with 5% concentration of oil improved dandruff for 41% of people tested. From this statistic, there can be little doubt that tea tree oil shampoo is probably the most effective of the commercially produced shampoos based on natural substances for minimizing the worst effects of dandruff.

It is also effective for getting rid of head lice as well, so if it is lice that are causing what appeared to be a dandruff problem, this is an easy way to get rid of your unwanted guests.

There are no known adverse side-effects from using tea tree oil, although it is not a substance that you can ingest, so if you get tea tree oil shampoo in your mouth, you should immediately rinse it out with a plentiful supply of water.

Shampoo that is based on coal tar uses a substance that is produced as a byproduct of the carbonization of coal. Coal tar shampoo is often an effective treatment for dandruff, although because there is some concern that using coal tar in too great a concentration might possibly have some carcinogenic elements, you should ensure that any coal tar shampoo you use contains only a trace of coal tar.

Because dandruff is a chronic condition the cause of which is still not completely established or agreed, the range of possible solutions that are claimed to work to treat the condition are almost endless.

KEEPING YOUR TWEET SHORT

One challenging aspect of Twitter is that your communications need to be short, very short. A single tweet can only be up to 140 characters in length. That’s not a lot!

I think this is one of the selling points of Twitter. You won’t get lost in long messages. Everything is short and to the point. Remember, the point of your tweets is to draw people in, and get them to learn more about you and take action (visit your website, and buy something from you of course!)

So how do you keep your tweet short but also effective?

Short Tweets

140 characters is not a lot!

Know your audience, use abbreviations

Chop out wordiness!

Shorten your URL’s

Please review video #9 to hear me talk a bit more about this challenging limitation.

PROPER TWITTER ETIQUETTE

Before you start tweeting away, it is important to be aware of the guidelines and etiquette of Twitter. After all, if you don’t follow the rules it will be harder, if not impossible to build a healthy list of followers. Twitter is composed of a certain culture of people that communicate in a certain way, and the last thing you want to do is offend anyone!

Etiquette

Don’t spam!!!

Don’t overdo it!!!

Be a fit to your target audience

Give proper credit when due

Don’t mislead

Please review video #10 to hear me talk a bit more about proper Twitter etiquette.

PERFORMING YOUR FIRST TWEET

Okay it’s magic time! Let’s go ahead and start “tweeting”.

Please refer to Video #11 to watch me create a tweet and post it.

MANAGING PAST TWEETS

Every time you tweet, it is added to your profile page. There is room to display the last twenty tweets you have sent out.

Once a tweet is posted, it is not editable! The good news is, if you make a mistake, you can delete it and then simply post a new one. There may even be a reason from time to time to delete old posts if you find them being no longer relevant (new followers may scan your entire tweet backlog).

You also have the option to label certain tweets as your favorites. To watch me over my shoulder as I manage tweets, please view Video #12.

REVIEWING TWITTER RESPONSES

Whenever you send out a tweet, people on your list will have the option to respond to you. Replies are actually stored in a separate section on your Twitter account, which can be found by clicking the @Replies tab in the Home sidebar.

Of course from here you can then respond back to what was sent to you. Twitter is not a one-way street, by communicating back and forth with people on your list, you will be able to engage and draw them in. I would encourage you to respond to messages on a regular basis if you can. Nothing is worse than following someone who you know won’t take the time to respond to you!

Please review Video #13 to hear me talk more about these reviewing twitter responses.

USING THE TWITTER SEARCH ENGINE

Now that you have an understanding of how to tweet and communicate with others, it is important to start finding people to interact with! Fortunately Twitter has a search engine in place, allowing you to do exactly that.

This URL will allow you to perform a search for whatever you want. There is even an advanced search option that allows you to specify all kinds of things, including words to include/exclude, tweets referencing certain people, etc. There is even an option to search for tweets from the same geographic location as you! There are also additional ways to search Twitter, provided by companies outside of Twitter. To see me search Twitter, be sure to check out Video #14.

FINDING PEOPLE TO FOLLOW

So how do you start building up your Twitter list? By following people of course. Often times, if you follow someone, they will follow you back. The best way to start doing this is to find people (such as through the search engine) that you feel would be a good match for you, and start following them.

Here’s a super effective method: If you are able to, find an established Twitter user in your niche, and start following his or her followers. Think about this for a second, these are people that you know are interested in your market. Your competitor has already built them up, but now you can step in and get involved as well.

This is the marketing equivalent of walking into a competitor’s business, and walking out with their mailing list. Now that’s what I call marketing!

And don’t feel bad about doing this, it is just how Twitter works. When you get an accomplished following, I’m sure someone else will do the same to you. So what is the difference then in who will be successful? That comes down to your skills as a marketer and your ability to engage your audience of course! Please view Video #15 to hear me talk about this crucial step.

HOW TO FOLLOW SOMEONE

Now that you have started finding people in your niche, it is time to start following them. To hear watch me over my shoulder as I follow people, please review Video #16.

HOW TO SEND A TWEET THROUGH YOUR PHONE

Twitter is addictive. Some people like to provide updates on the go. Fortunately Twitter gives you the ability to tweet from your mobile phone!

All you have to do is “activate” this feature on your account. Once this is setup, Twitter will provide a special phone number for you to text your messages to. There is no charge from Twitter to do this, however you will incur standard texting fees from your phone provider. If you are currently on a plan that has unlimited text messenging, this won’t impact you.

If you have to pay to text message, it isn’t much, especially if you are just using this feature every once in a while. To learn a bit more about tweeting through your phone, please review Video #17.

The general concept of home schooling embraces the fact that there is no one right way to teach or to learn. You need to be flexible to be effective, and the same applies for your learning space. Your home will need to be modified, in a way, so that home schooling can begin.

Organization is an important factor of a successful school year. If your household and school rooms are both organized, you will have a much smoother and more enjoyable time with your home schooling.

Begin by getting rid of the junk that has accumulated over the years. If you haven’t used it in awhile, you probably don’t need it anymore. Be ruthless. You’ll be glad you were in the long run.

Find a specific space to set up for a school area. Ideally, this would be a separate room in your home, but that’s not always possible. Many home schoolers work at the kitchen table or in a place equipped with just a desk. The thing you need to remember is that home schooling is meant to be flexible.

Don’t be rigid with your space. When you have a place where you only do work, you could be sending the wrong message to your child and instill in them a sense of dread when it comes school time. Remember that learning can occur anywhere at any time.

You may want to have a few brightly colored tubs to hold school supplies that can be brought out when it’s time for learning. Set up a card table with folding chairs if you need extra space. With whatever space you have available, establish a school area and set up your supplies to be easily accessible and organized.

Make sure your space has good lighting and that each child has their own school supplies. Try a separate box or bin that can hold pens, pencils, paper, crayons, scissors, a ruler, etc. Give your child something of their own.

Along the same line of thought, give the teacher something as well. You should have a separate box or bin of your own to hold lesson plans, reward stickers, books, etc. We’re willing to bet that when you pull out your own box, your child will be eager to pull out theirs as well.

Once you have your space, you’ll need to decide what and how you will be teaching.

How To Write High Response Sales Letters MRR Ebook

So, here I was sitting by the riverbank in 2001, catching a minimal amount of carp. About half way through the day, this other angler comes along and sits opposite me, sets up his gear and within five minutes he's in. Twenty seven pound Carp. Half an hour later, before he's even finished setting up his other rods, he's in again, thirty two pound carp, and this is how the day went on, he pulled out one after the other. I could only imagine the amazing experiences he’d had. I wonder, are all his fishing expeditions like this?

(Note here again, we’re playing on something a little different. In the previous example we talked about the list owners not wanting the list itself, but the advantages it brings. In that case it was money. In this case with the catching of all these fish, it’s the adventures and experiences. A form of entertainment, which often is as powerful as the standard gaining something you want, avoiding a potential problem, and ‘removing things that you don’t want’ themes of sales letters. Continuing;)

After about three hours of me catching nothing, and him pulling these fish out one after the other, I go on over and start talking as you do. What followed was probably the most enlightening conversation about fishing I'd ever had, and it totally opened my mind. I headed back to my swim, set up my gear all over again, and started pulling these huge fish out of the lake, and to this day, no matter the venue, or the season, I'm catching more fish than anybody else on the lake. You should see their faces! This one single conversation was so powerful and changed the way I look at fishing forever. You can imagine that immense proud feeling after every fishing trip. So naturally, I told some friends about it. And here's what happened... (End example 2)

(Again, in that example, we’re playing on entertainment and gaining something again. Nobody really wants to catch more fish. They want the gains that come from catching more fish, in the above case, the immensely proud feeling.)

See how easy it is to write an enticing story that enforces the power of this product to provide a solution to a problem? Like I said earlier, this is just base for your work. You can see a clear start, middle, and end in both of these examples. Downright simple, all you're doing is talking about how you came up with it and what it's done for you in a big way, and how you don't know how you got by without it.

In addition to the above points, have you ever noticed how you enjoy hearing about other peoples lives? This is what keeps people gripped and reading. All you’re doing is telling them a story related to your product that they can relate to also. If you’re sending the right traffic to your sites, and they’re interested in what you’re talking about, they won’t be able to tear their eyes off your words until you’re done talking.

Home schoolers who have withdrawn a child from school often find a time of "deschooling" to be beneficial. The term "de-schooling" or "refreshment" has come to mean the process of reawakening the child's natural curiosity and interest in learning, by reducing or entirely removing enforced, coercive, and compulsory learning and formal academics.

This approach can help children "decompress" from any stresses of their previous learning experiences and begin to think about learning in a different way. The time recommended varies, but one recommendation is one month of de-schooling for every year the children have been in school. Parents know their own children best, however, and different families will make different choices about this adjustment time.

If your child has had a bad experience in a public school, they are most likely going to balk at anything that even resembles schooling. They will be almost overcome with a sense of uneasiness that they are unable to effectively express in words. This can be interpreted as rebellion if you don’t understand why they are reacting this way.

This could be one of the most important parts of starting your home school experience. The time spent de-schooling will vary from child to child. Depending on how long they were in public school, the whole process could take anywhere from two minutes to two months. Your child will let you know when they are ready to start learning again.

Take it slow and be understanding of how they feel. Don’t try to rush the process just because you’re ready to get started. If you do this, you’ll be pulling out your hair in frustration trying to figure out why this whole home school thing isn’t working.

Remember that this type of reaction is normal and won’t last forever. In fact, deschooling can be just as beneficial for parents as children. It’s a way for you to forget what you know about teaching and learning so that you can open up your mind to your child and how he or she best learns. There is no cookie cutter mold for teaching and adaptations need to be made according to your child’s specific learning style.

The easy way to approach de-schooling is to just stop. You need to stop thinking in “school terms”. Stop acting like a teacher. Stop talking about learning as though it’s separate from life. We learn every day whether we realize it or not. When you approach school as just life experience, you and your child will learn much easier.

Remember that you have been your child’s teacher from the day they were born. You taught them to eat, you taught them to talk, you taught them to walk. You’ve been teaching them sub-consciously and there’s no reason for you to stop now.

Credit Repair Success Strategies MRR Ebook

If you have bad credit, you will have to deal with collection agencies sooner or later, and these companies often present the most persistent and unpleasant problem for those with bad credit. Collection agencies are basically companies that work on behalf of companies to try to recoup money that is owed.

If you owe your credit card company a payment that has not been made in some time, your credit card company will eventually ask a collection agency to speak with you. In many cases, collection agencies try to get money for their clients through phone calls. Some collection agencies are quite reasonable and will try to work with you. However, some will use threatening or harassing techniques - including verbal threats and daily phone calls - to try to get you to pay. To prevent the stress that collection agencies can cause, learn to deal with collection agencies.

You should always get the full name of whomever you speak with at a collection agency. You should try to be honest about your ability to repay and try to work out a payment schedule or payment options. If at any point you feel threatened or harassed, say so. Hang up the phone if the collection agent persists and contact the company who is trying to recoup money from you directly.

Note that the collection agency the company uses has been using is using abusive or upsetting language and ask to resolve the issue with someone at the company directly. Get the name of the collection agency and report them - and the agent you spoke with - to the Better Business Bureau. Refuse further calls from the collection agency and continue your communication with the creditor directly, noting each time the collection company contacts you with harassing or abusive calls.

Unfortunately, some collection agencies feel that intimidation yields the best results and since most collection agencies work through telephoning, they feel that they can say whatever they like (including making personal and false accusations) in order to try to recoup money for their clients. There is no paper trail and few people harassed by the agencies take these companies to court.

Some debtors feel so ashamed of their bad credit rating that they almost feel that they deserve the abuse. Both views are completely wrong. A bad credit rating does not make you deserving of abuse. Report collection agencies that offer harassment as a technique and make it clear to lenders that you will not work with a company that uses abuse as a technique of recouping money.

Some collection agencies will try to use your credit score against you, telling you that they can ruin your credit score at a glance or file a claim on your credit score. Don’t fall for this. Your credit score is instantly affected when you fail to make a payment or are reported to a collection agency, but there is nothing that the collection agency employee can do to make your credit score worse beyond those two things.
