I charge people to be a part of some of my skype rooms that I created. Here is what you do. You create a room on a topic that you are interested in. Lets say Offline marketing. Now you don’t have to be the top offline marketer but you want to bring in people that are into that. The beautiful thing about it is this is all about discussion. You could go in the room and for example and write a line that says is anyone using postcards to get new clients ? You can even bring in some non paying members that are experts in that field so that they can be a part of the discussion also. You don’t have to be typing all day. You become a facilitator in the end.

You just control the room. Maybe you can do webinars from time to time. Make a video. There is a whole host of things you can do to add value to the group. You are in essence creating a community so the main this is be active and facilitate conversations.

So how do you get these paying members lets say for the Im niche ?

You’re seeing these codes spring up everywhere from fast food chains, popular soft drink bottles and cans as well as flyers, tickets and business cards.

The beauty of these codes is they hold the information you want them to and allow anyone with a QR scanner on their phone (many are inbuilt into the devices or can be downloaded free as apps) to quickly scan the code and get information.

One of the other reasons these are so very good to use is because they add an element of suspense.

People are intrigued about what they’ll find behind the code.

The other day I was sitting in a restaurant and browsing through the restaurant’s own in-house magazine. They had a competition to win year’s supply of wine.

The write up underneath the competition picture was all about the wine itself and included factual information about its production.

The QR code, when scanned, led to a mobile friendly competition entry page. Of course all the answers to the few questions they asked were on the write up in the magazine. They didn’t make it difficult to enter.

The hook here is that this company has the ability to get a lot of information from people by way of asking them to a) enter the competition and b) having them opt-in for more information and future competitions.

I bet that company now has thousands of people’s information sitting on their data base so they are able to cross promote other offers and products. The QR code worked for me as an interested prospect because it was quick and simple to get my entry in. No need to send off an entry in the post, or wait until I got home to search again on the computer.

The best advice that I can give you here is to test your outsourcer first. If your end goal is to have reports or e-books written give the person a trial or test job first. This could be a short report or one or two articles. Then if you are happy with the work you can offer them a 50 page e-book or more.

By taking the time to do this step you are making sure that you have first hired the right person, second that they can deliver the correct content and third that you are both happy with the payment terms. No one can afford to waste money.

When interviewing a prospect you can ask for references and examples of their work. Most professional freelancers will have their own website with a portfolio on it. Tap into your network of business associates and friends and ask them who they use for certain tasks. Many freelancers and virtual assistants simply get work from referrals and never actually advertise their services. This can be a fantastic way to find a wonderful addition to your team.

The easiest way to pay someone is normally via PayPal. Look into using their Mass Payment service as this can possibly save you money on PayPal fees, which can really eat into a chunk of your money.

If you do decide to use PayPal ensure that the outsourcers you hire have the ability to receive payments this way. PayPal has a huge list of countries which they are active in, so be sure that the country of your choice is listed.

Many industry leaders will jump at the chance of writing a blog post or article for you. This provides you with unique content and gives you both additional exposure.

Another option for protecting your downloads falls somewhere in between the basic level of security we discussed in the previous section, and the protection software we're covering now.

That is securing your PDF files directly - assuming that's how your product is delivered.

There are several ways you can protect your PDF files to stop people from sharing them after they've downloaded them.

Password Protection

The simplest form of protection is to password protect the PDF file itself. Adobe Acrobat, and most other PDF generators, let you add a password to the file so it won't open until the password is entered.

Much like password protection for your website, you would use an autoresponder to send the password to your buyers immediately after they purchase.

This will help to reduce sharing, since people would need to have the password to open the file. But it's not going to stop it entirely since the person sharing the file could easily share the password as well.

The other drawback to password protecting your PDFs is the fact that people often file these types of products for future reference. If they open the file a year or two from now, chances are they aren't going to have any idea what the password is.
