Business Advertising In A Social Media World Personal Use Ebook

Facebook – the number one rated site across many online polls, surveys and professional research project. Facebook is where people go to connect, while away time… and be entertained. You can create Facebook Fan Pages and Groups to augment and support your ads (and vice versa). You can add tiny but effective features, such as a “Like This” link (in fact, it’s done automatically within the ad platform). If you have an application, game or relationship-related site, Facebook is one of your top bets.

MySpace – In many ways a rival to Facebook, the big difference with MySpace is that instead of 18-34-year-old females making up the bulk of its users, it’s populated with young people under 21. This is a proven ground for promoting creative endeavours such as music bands, movies and Manga comics. You do it with PPC banner ads, so you don’t get the control over your ads that you do with Facebook – but on the other hand, people under 21 do not have the resistance to banner ads their more jaded seniors do.

YouTube – Video-sharing site with millions of viewers and participants alike. If you want a video to go viral, this is the place – and they offer self-serve advertising options, as well as allowing you the opportunity to partner with YouTube via their Advertising Brand channel.

LinkedIn – The site for upwardly mobile professionals, it is slanted towards career-oriented information. (In other words, this is not the site where you’d want to promote a cute little game!) Some helpful demographic facts: “Over 63 million members. Average Household Income $107,278”. This is the social site to cultivate if you own a B2B (business-to-business) operation.

Flixster – For all things Movie. You may have noticed Flixster ads popping up all over the place. The mainstream magazine industry has seen its revenues collapse as Hollywood producers have shifted their advertising focus over to Flixster. Why? Well, for one thing, Flixster offers an iPhonecompatible app store that updates users instantly about the latest movies. Not likely to be helpful to the average marketer… but hey, if you’ve made a commercially-released movie lately…

Hi5 – A multi-option ad networking company, whose main demographic is listed as 59% male (as opposed to Facebook, which is predominantly female) – though the 18-34 age bracket is the same.

Six Apart – An advertising network for bloggers.

Multiply – “One site for everything” is their motto. They give you your own “site” on their social media platform, where you can share videos, music, photos and even your blog. You can import contacts from your email address book and from other social networks. Like Facebook, its content is highly customizable, and you can “invite” friends to join you. It boasts a Twitter-like SMS live feed so you can chat (with thumbnail profile photo for each user). Multiply is one of the lesser-known social sites… but it has 14 million members, and its USP is taking privacy issues seriously and creating a safe online sharing environment. Advertising is allowed only as direct sales, with conventional standard size IAB ad units – and personalized service from their ad manager.

Work From Home Secrets Personal Use Ebook

This is an easy adjustment for some and others this is a very new and sometimes overwhelming change. Learning to adjust and adapt is key to working at home.

Work more than one job

One of the things anyone who works from home will tell you is to always have more than one egg in your basket. Many people who work from home have more than one job.

If you have never worked from home or as an independent contractor you may ask why this is important. There are several reasons.

Some work at home jobs are very seasonal. Take for example if you are working for a company that provides customer service for a toy company your busiest time of the year is going to be before the holidays. At other times of the years hours of work may not be as plentiful.

Diversifying your time and talents is a benefit. Those who do call centers may find that writing for others is a good match.

If they cannot get hours in the virtual call centers, they can fill their time with writing for pay.

Even affiliate marketers diversify. They may have more than one niche that they aim. They may provide information products as well as coaching.

Do You Need More?

You may be well-motivated and looking forward to beginning your new home workout regimen. At the same time, you may be wondering if you could bene?t from something more. You may be unsure of whether you are completely prepared to do it all on your own. If you think that you need a little extra help, it could very well put you on the right track.

One possibility is to enlist the aid of a personal trainer. It is not necessary to have a personal trainer at your side for the duration of your workouts-- some input when you are starting out can be very bene?cial.

A personal trainer can help to customize your home workout regimen, if you are uncertain of what is right for you. He can also advise you of what to expect from your workouts. If you do not know how to deal with discomfort in your muscles, or how long you can reasonably expect to wait before you see results, a personal ?tness trainer can answer all of your questions.

A second possibility is a short-term membership at a gym. Even if you plan to do your workouts in your own home, there is much to be gained from a few visits to a gym. You can see workout equipment in use, which can help you to decide which types of equipment you want for your home. You can interact with others who are working out, which will help you to see what you yourself need to do, and the results which you can expect. You can take all of this knowledge home with you, to put to use in your own workouts.

Another possible extra is for your home workouts to utilize the buddy system. While some people do very well at any venture on their own, others do much better if they are in the company of likeminded friends, or even family members. If you are in the latter category, encouraging others to join you in your home workouts can be useful to both you and the others in your life. Mutual support can be quite motivating. Even healthy, good-spirited competition can make your workouts more enjoyable and more oriented toward results.

The buddy system is not for everyone. There are many who do much better with working out alone. You probably already know which category describes you the best. Whichever one you choose, it should be the method that works for you.

An additional factor is your own level of motivation. There are many people who want great results, but are not sure that they have what it takes to get there. You may wonder if you will always have the time to devote to your workouts, or if you might become tired or discouraged and tempted to quit, or whether you may decide that it really is not worth the effort. If you want your home workout routine to be a success, and to give you that perfect body, it is a good idea to address these concerns in advance.

Everyone becomes discouraged at times, and no one is one-hundred-percent motivated each and every day. For your workouts to be a success, without the worry of quitting before you reach your goal, you should have a plan for how to deal with those less-than-ideal days before they occur.

As each person has his own method of getting things done, consider the method that works for you. How do you prime yourself to do something when you really do not feel like doing it? It could be a task at work, a household chore, or even something you usually like. No one is at his best every single day, but this does not mean you can afford to neglect whatever you must do. This includes your home workout routines.

When you know the method you use in your everyday life, you can apply the same methods to your workouts. Perhaps it involves getting yourself in a certain frame of mind. Perhaps you might give yourself a small treat, chat with a friend, or promise yourself a reward for a job well done. Whatever works for you, to help you to be motivated when you do not feel motivated at all, can be a wonderful aid to keeping you on track. If you have such a plan in advance, you will be less likely to skip your workouts, and more enthusiastic about doing them.

You may decide that you do not need any of these little “extras” at all. You may be the type of person who can commit a speci?c period of time into your daily schedule for workouts, and stick to it on a regular basis, without fail. If this sounds accurate, good for you! However, giving yourself the option for extra help when you need it is not a sign of weakness. It only means that you know yourself well enough to be aware that you may require a bit of extra help to be consistent with your home workouts. If it will help you to stay on the right track, incorporating some extra help into your basic workout plan is a positive step. It can keep you on the track toward success!

Especially for Women

These days, home workouts are as popular amongst women as they are for men. Women have a natural desire to look and feel their best, too. This is evident by the large number of women who join gyms, purchase exercise equipment, and try various diets. While being more physically attractive and healthier are sensible goals for women, women who wish to begin home workouts do have special circumstances.

One topic is working out during pregnancy. You may have heard “old wives’ tales” which claim that no exercise at all is safe when you are pregnant, and you may also heard that virtually nothing is off limits. If you are pregnant, or planning to become pregnant, you may be unsure of which point of view to believe.

With your doctor’s approval, working out during pregnancy can be very bene?cial. In fact, starting a home workout routine prior to becoming pregnant can prepare your body for this exciting adventure. The better shape your body is in, the easier and more comfortable your pregnancy and childbirth will be for you. It will also make returning to your pre-pregnant state easier and faster after your baby is born.

Twitter Marketing Guide Personal Use Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

There seems to be strong opinions on both sides of the fence. An October 2008 post by blogging megastar Darren Rowse on ProBlogger used Joel Comm as an example of someone who tried to get his affiliates to post automated links, and received a lot of criticism for it.

No matter which side of the fence you prefer to straddle, take note of the fact that the subject of Twitter affiliate marketing itself garnered a whopping 131 comments, with one commenter intelligently questioning whether spamming Twitter with unsolicited sales requests violated Anti Spam laws.

The best way to handle affiliate marketing on Twitter?

If you must do it, don’t repeat-tweet verbatim from the person whose product you’re promoting

Do write a personal recommendation in your own words

Consider saying up front “I’m an affiliate for…” If your affiliate link is provided as a genuine personal recommendation, you are less likely to annoy people into blocking you or unfollowing

Remember – Twitter is about building relationships. Not pimping products.

By now, you should be able to see the vast benefits that content marketing can bring to your business plan. What you need now is the what and the how to move forward with your marketing plan. First, let’s explore the different types of content that will bring you the best results.

Articles

One of the first things that should be included in your businessmarketing plan is high quality, informative articles. These articles are what your target market is looking for. Articles give your niche audience a taste of what you know, leaving them wanting more.

Just like fishermen use bait on their hooks to catch fish you will use articles to catch visitors. The bait they use depends on what kind of fish they’re looking to catch on that day. The fish they want to catch are looking for certain types of morsels to nibble on, so the fisherman provides them with that taste.

When the fish takes a bite of the bait, the fisherman sets the hook and reels in the fish to the fisherman’s hands. Without the bait, the fish never would have jumped onto the boat and into the waiting fisherman’s hands. Well, maybe on an extreme rare occasion, but for the most part, the fisherman has to work hard to get the fish to come.

Articles are pretty much your bait. You plant your articles in various spots throughout the Internet to tempt Internet surfers to find them. Once they find them, they view the article to see what information you’re baiting them with.

If the content is good, then you set the hook with your website link that’s provided within the article, and they get reeled into your website where you can then sell them on your products or services.
