HOW TO EVALUATE ONLINE BUSINESS TOOLS FOR MARKETERS

There are myriads of online tools out there for marketers, but that doesn't mean that they are all worth using. In order to figure out what tools would be the best to include in a short report, it's important to understand what kinds of tools marketers want, what features work best online and why, how expensive a tool is, and how well it works to accomplish a marketing goal. Going by these conditions, we've included some online marketing tools that we think every online marketer to should include in their toolbox, and we've offered you an evaluation of that tool to convince you to add it. But, first let's discuss the criteria more indepth, to give you an idea of what we think makes a useful and worthwhile marketing tool.

WHAT KIND OF TOOLS INTERNET MARKETERS WANT

If you are an Internet marketer, you know that what you are looking for is something to reduce your workload to help you create the following to your website and Internet offerings:

Traffic

The number one thing any Internet marketer wants to achieve online is a good traffic count. Without traffic, there are no customers. Without customers, there are no sales. So, traffic has to be generated and any tool that helps a marketer automate that process is helpful. However, some go way beyond the “helpful” criteria to be actually POWERFUL traffic drivers. Those are the ones that you want to make sure to include in your tool kit. Some of these help you target demographics like a laser, others just get distributed in a fashion that drives traffic back to your site, regardless of demographic.

Income

Another thing that marketers want are tools that help them generate income, manage income streams, or reduce expenses. Along with these tools are things that can produce products online that can be sold, shopping cart tools, and any other sort of revenue specific tool.

Contact Management

So, you have the traffic and you got some sources of income out, but you don't know who is visiting your siteThat's because you need tools that help you harvest contacts and then market them via email or subscription campaigns. This is the mouth of your sales funnel and without these tools, you can end up doing a lot of marketing and never getting off the starting block to sales.

Promotion

Tools that promote an Internet marketers business are essential to good online marketing. The Internet may be filled with millions of people, but that doesn't mean your online exposure is sufficient to get the word out. Using tools that help you boost your exposure is one way that you can start creating an online image and brand yourself or your business.

Sound goodObviously, even limiting the toolbox to these criteria there are still plenty of other tools out there that can be fun to use and/or stimulate interest in your business. But, we'll also offer you some locations to check out tools being developed as they come off the assembly line, for those that want to move even further in adopting technologies for their websites.

WHAT FEATURES WORK BEST ONLINE

Since tools will be either online services or scripts, the best tools have the following features:

Easy To Use

No one wants to spend a ton of time trying to get the tool to work.

Solves A Customer's Problem

Any tool that gives better customer service, or provides a value-added feature to your customers is valuable to your business model.

Consistent Performance

Adopting a tool that works great one time and bombs another is a sure way to lose customers. Stick with established tools that have the bugs worked out of them already.

Simple Registration

A good online tool will either have a very curt registration opt-in, like an email, or none at all, if it's free.

Manages Multiple Users Efficiently

The idea is to attract tons of traffic, convert it to contacts, and start marketing it. If your tool does this, but performance drops off or you cannot keep up with multiple users efficiently, as an online marketer you might as well not use it.

Great Customer Support

Sometimes technical glitches can happen, even with the best of tools. You want to have a phone number, and AIM contact, or an email you can go to and send in a help support ticket to get your problems resolved.

Creates Excitement/Interest

A tool that creates buzz, excitement, fun and gets your users to participate in your website or offering is a great way to get noticed.

COST

Obviously, you don't want to spend a whole lot on tools and there are plenty of free tools out there. But, sometimes a little expense can be worth it if the benefits outweigh the costs.

GOAL METRICS

If you are like most Internet marketers, you start out without a plan, and quickly realize that if you start setting goals that you are more likely to achieve them. So, you start to set goals, and then you realize that tools would be a good idea to help you achieve those goals. Some of these tools, you will be able to tell how it helps you to achieve your marketing goals, and others will have an impact that may be hard to measure.

However, tools that do let you see right away how they impact your goals of traffic, income, contact management, and advertising are preferable to those that may or may not be having any impact. That way you know that the time, effort, and money you devote to implementing and using a tool is going to give you a sound return on your investment. But, that doesn't mean we've excluded tools that don't have clear metrics, as some things can be hard to quantify on the Internet. It just means it's always better to have some way to measure your success than just a gut feeling.

THE ONLINE TOOL BOX

In the interests of this short report, we're going to start listing the tools, evaluating them on our criteria, and giving you a link where you can go to access or buy them. We may not be able to put up your favorite tools, but it's a good start for anyone who is thinking about seriously competing online with other online vendors.

WEBCEO

This is a great all-around tool for webmasters and people who market online. It helps you to find keywords, see what your competitors are doing, and more importantly for this category, it helps you to automatically submit your pages to multiple search engines.

How To Use Social Networks To Build A List PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

Easy Networking

Social networks have made building and widening your social contacts extremely easy. In the past, you might have had to attend numerous functions and paying for gas, food, and clothing just to show up and hand out a few business cards that later got tossed. With online social networking, the costs of networking are zero, but the rewards are immeasurable. Creating a list of social contacts online can lead to opportunities worldwide, something that local networking could never do for you.

LET PEOPLE COME TO YOU

Instead of trying to push people into getting acquainted with you or your company, wouldn't it be great if you could get up each morning and find seven to ten new people wanting to befriend or follow you? This is completely doable with social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Once you establish a profile and a following, just your everyday activities online can draw people to you without you having to go out and find them. Even if you do choose to find people first, it's still far easier to connect with them online and far less intrusive than trying to schedule a meeting, a phone date, or any other old-fashioned method of networking.

WHICH SOCIAL NETWORK SHOULD YOU JOIN?

You've heard of MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, but which is the best to join? The answer to that is that you can and should join at least three of these networks, depending on your demographic. The more you join, the better and the wider your exposure; however, not every social network will match up to your business profile. MySpace, for instance, tends to be visited by a younger crowd than Facebook and Twitter. If you're marketing to teenagers, then it's a great place to network, but if you're more into college-age professionals, then Facebook will be a better match for you. LinkedIn is for any working professional, although some people use it to locate jobs when they're in the market for that too because of the number of working professionals on it.

Twitter is in a class all by itself. It can appeal to many different groups of people, and it is also the easiest platform to generate a large following on. It may take a little while to get used to it, but getting on Twitter can help you create a large social network in as little as one month if you do it right. Imagine having close to 1000 followers in little more than a month? If only 1/10th of those people look at your services or offerings when you post, you will have 100 new eyeballs to market to. Let's be clear, however, that marketing or building a list on social networking has to follow some guidelines that we will discuss in the next section.

The Rules Of The Game

Social networks have special rules that you must follow to keep your account active. Administrators frown on spamming people with unsolicited emails and other types of commercial activities. If your goal is to build a list for commercial purposes, it's still doable; it just has to be done more casually than you would on your own website. Selfpromotion is allowed, but any time you take an email off of someone's social networking site and add it to your email autoresponder campaigns, you are spamming them, unless they offer you permission to market to them first. Harvesting emails from these sites is thus very difficult, and this is done deliberately.

BUILD YOUR LISTS WITHIN THE NETWORK FIRST

That doesn't mean that you don't want people to befriend or follow you on these sites. It means that you have to take care as to how you end up harvesting their email addresses. Just because someone befriends or follows you doesn't mean that they are open to your marketing campaign and want to receive commercial solicitations. In fact, if you do send them that information, they're likely to report you as a spammer, and you can have your account revoked. Thus, the best thing to do is to start by building your lists within the network without harvesting the emails provided there directly. You can still post status updates that promote your business or offerings, but direct emails of this variety will have to wait until later.

MOVE THEM OFF TO AN INTERMEDIARY SITE

You should have an intermediary site ready to capture their email address later. It can be a blog that allows them to subscribe. It can be a website that isn't that commercial. It can even be some article marketing site where they can land, read some more of your content, and then follow the resource box links back to your website. As long as the final destination offers them a chance to subscribe to your email marketing lists via some free offer, then you will have permission to market to them off of the social networking sites, where you can be a little more straightforward.

HOW TO MARKET TO SOCIAL NETWORKING CONNECTIONS

Before then, you will want to create a highly targeted list of friends and followers who have the potential to follow you back from the social networking sites to your other websites. You can do this by carefully crafting profiles that appeal to your demographics and updating your status updates with information that draws attention from that demographic. As you continue to do these two activities, more and more people will find you, and you will have a wider exposure.

Getting Targeted Lists

You don't just want to build a large list of people who have nothing to do with your market niche; you want to have a list of people whose interests mean that they might want to buy your products and services later on. Social networks are excellent mediums for creating targeted lists because it's easy to see what people's interests are via their searchable profiles, and they can see yours too!

USING YOUR PROFILE TO ATTRACT THE RIGHT DEMOGRAPHIC

The first step to getting a targeted list together is to clearly project the right image and interests in your own profile. To do that, you want to fill out the profile as completely as possible. You also want to use your real name, as this profile should be as authentic as possible. For Facebook, for instance, you would want to add as many details of books or movies relevant to your market niche to attract the right demographic. In Twitter, you would want to give as many keywords that are relevant to the niche you are marketing as possible in the 140-character description of your profile. In LinkedIn, you would also want to give a good, accurate description of your interests and accomplishments as they relate to the market niche that you are marketing to.

FINDING OTHERS WHO HAVE SIMILAR INTERESTS

Once you've got your own profile filled out, you can start searching via the keywords you've used to find others who are in your market niche and invite them to follow or befriend you back. In Facebook, they track everyone with similar interests, so all you have to do is to click on the link in any of the categories in your Info tab, and you'll get a listing of people who have similar interests.

On Twitter, it's just as easy to find people who have similar interests by using the Twitter search engine and looking up keywords. The Twitter search engine is separate from Twitter and can be found at https://search.twitter.com. You won't just be able to locate people via their profile keywords, but also via their tweets.

Facebook and LinkedIn also have groups that you can join that can lead you to people with similar interests. You can even create your own group if that's something you want to do. By networking with people who are in the same group as you are, you will be able to build your list fairly quickly. People like to network with people of similar interests, and this works well when you are trying to market to a specific niche.

The Bigger, The Better

You will want to build as big a list as possible within each network. The reason for this is that the bigger your list, the more possibilities to market to later on. Also, a big list has a magnetic effect on other people who will join just to find out what all of the fuss is about. It is easier to build a big list on Twitter than on any other social networking site, but it's possible to do it on all of the social networking sites. Here, we'll discuss a few ways to get a jumpstart on building a big list quickly and easily.

START BEFRIENDING AND FOLLOWING PEOPLE

You jumpstart every social network list by befriending or following people you know, whether they're in your niche or not. This way, you aren't the person with only a few people on your list. That's never attractive. Start with people who you already know who are online. They can be work colleagues, neighbors, friends, and family. As long as you can get them to befriend or follow you back, you have the basis of a good start. Once you have a few of those, you will start to target people better so that your list can be used for marketing purposes later.

How To Outsource Internet Marketing PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

The Pros And Cons Of Outsourcing

Internet marketing for one website can include many different tasks, from email marketing to website development. Even if you wanted to do everything yourself, there will come a time when you realize that it will be far easier and less expensive to hire out some of the work and to outsource it to others than to do it yourself. Handing over your baby to a total stranger, however, can come with some risks. It may free up your time to do more and get more done, but you have to start slowly and build up a relationship that you can trust before you hand over the keys to your kingdom.

THE POSITIVE ASPECTS OF OUTSOURCING

Outsourcing works because of the difference in wages that you pay someone else versus the value of your time to do the same task. If you've figured out that you can make $60 to $120 an hour marketing online, and the task you are trying to complete on a daily basis, like answering customer emails, can be outsourced for $8/hr, you stand to profit immensely from that arrangement. The wages are so depressed in other countries that you can get virtual assistants to help with email and with other tasks for as little as $200 a month full-time. In general, however, you get what you pay for, and you can expect that if you want English proficiency to be a part of the requirements of the job, that the wage will increase.

It's not only a question of economics, however; it's also a question of your time and how it is best utilized. You really don't want to spend your time focusing on the nitty-gritty, boring, and repetitive aspect of your websites when those don't contribute to the bottom line. You want your time going towards creating income with the time that you have available.

THE NEGATIVE ASPECTS OF OUTSOURCING

One of the biggest risks to outsourcing is that the job doesn't get done to your satisfaction. It's one thing to save time, but it's a complete waste of money if you aren't getting the quality of work that will keep your reputation intact online. That's why when you start to think about outsourcing, you have to focus on reputable companies and job boards or get some idea of the quality of work of an online individual first before hiring them even part-time. You don't want to hand over sensitive areas of your website to people who are incompetent or who can use it for nefarious purposes. Keep tight control of what you allow others to access and have a back door key that can lock your operation up tight should the need arise.

Research People Online

In order to gauge the level of trustworthiness of your intended outsourcer, it's best to start the relationship slowly. There is bound to be piles of work available for just the right person, but flooding them with deadlines and work when you first start out can cause major havoc before you've even established if the relationship will work out or not. If this introductory period doesn't work out, then have someone in line to test out next. At some point, you will find someone compatible who can also do the job for you at the price you want. It just may take a bit of time to locate that person.

UNDERSTAND YOUR NEEDS

The first thing you want to do is to figure out what you want to outsource. You can outsource website design and maintenance. You can outsource social networking. You can outsource content creation. You may simply want someone to answer phone calls or emails. Whatever your needs, make sure you have a good idea what tasks need to be completed and how you will measure the time that is spent on each project. Also figure out how much you are willing to budget for the project. Once you know what you need, you can start to look for people who match those needs.

HOP ONLINE TO RESEARCH PROFILES

Depending on your needs, there will be different job boards where you can post your project online. If you are looking for virtual assistants, you will need to go to places that hire these people out. If you want a website designer, you might take a look at Freelancer.com. If you want a content writer, you might want to check out Upwork.com. On each site, you will be able to post a project and to review the online profiles of the professionals who are there offering their services. Once you think that you have found a match, add them to your list of potential people who you might use for outsourcing purposes.

CONTACT THEM WITH PROJECT DETAILS

Send out private project requests to the individuals you've targeted and see if they're interested in the small project that you have to offer. Let them know that it could lead to more work if the first project is done satisfactorily. Give them a two-week trial and outline the details of the project as accurately as possible. For a writer, provide writer guidelines. For a programmer, provide a specification document for your intended application. If they do well, you can start sending them more work and then see how they do for a few months. Hire them as independent contractors to avoid employee issues. Now, the only thing you have to worry about is keeping them busy.

Where To Get Outsourcing

There are many online sites that deal with outsourcing. People from all over the world can put up a profile and try to bid on jobs that are posted within these sites, so you aren't just limited to people in your own country. Rules differ between sites, as do the fees. You have to check each site out and decide whether you want to join and use their services or where you want to try to contact a freelancer by targeting people who don't have a profile, but show some writing skill online in other areas.

THE BIG THREE

The three most popular sites, it seems, are Freelancer.com, Upwork.com and Fiverr.com They all offer different types of freelancers. If you want someone who does obscure programming, for instance, you can get him/her at Freelancer.com. Other sites will offer programmers too, but they may not be as highly specialized. If you want a site where you can hire a virtual assistant, you can find them by Googling “virtual assistants.” Many virtual assistants today can manage websites, do search engine optimization, and perform some business development tasks as well.

BUYERS CHARGED DIFFERENTLY

In general, it's free for most people who are looking for work to look for jobs. In some cases, even posting a job online is free too. However, there are sites that offer memberships at different levels that let you bid on different jobs. The sites take their fees off of each job as a percentage of the total cost of the job. Your bid may or may not include the fees to the site for their commission, and you need to be sure when you set a bid range that you take that into account. Even if you bid a specific price, it doesn't mean you'll get it. Freelancers will bid on how much it will take to complete your job, and then you can choose to award someone the job on the basis of his/her bid from all of the respondents. It's not always the best thing to hire the cheapest bidder. There are other factors involved that should be considered as well.

CHECK OUT THEIR RATINGS

Sites will post feedback on freelancers to give you some indication on whether they will perform well or not. Be sure to check out what other people have to say about them before awarding a bid. You may find that someone who has a very low bid has awful ratings too. You want to check to see how long they've been on this board and whether they are a new profile or not. Freelancers with a longer and better track record will work better than those with questionable things in their ratings.

Website Outsourcing

As a serious Internet marketer, you most likely have more than one site, one social networking profile, and one project going on at any given time. Online, you can set up websites very quickly, but managing them can quickly become unwieldy. You don't want to spend too much of your time trying to get backlinks, writing and posting blog posts, optimizing content for SEO, or keeping track of online problems and outages. In addition, you might not want to take the time to learn HTML and a host of other Web languages, and someone else may already have taken the time to learn all of that. All you would have to do is to hire them to manage the sites for you.

LINK BUILDING

One of the best ways to get a higher Page Rank (PR) on Google that places you higher on the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) is to just get a bunch of non-reciprocal incoming links going to your site. You can do this by paying sites to post your links, adding comments to popular blogs and news areas, and listing yourself in directories. All that takes time, and it's a job that is best left to someone who is getting paid far less than you are. Outsource link building during the times when things are slow.

WEB PAGE DEVELOPMENT

This is one area where it really pays to get help. If you don't know how to set up a blog, add a membership area, or just plain update an HTML page, you can't even get started with Internet marketing! While you're learning some of those skills, you're wasting valuable time! Outsource the website development to someone else. Just find a site that you like and then list the features that you want. Give them an idea of your color scheme or choose one from the templates that they offer you to view. Once the site is done, make sure everything is in your name, from the domain name to the administrative contacts. In fact, if you don't want to go through the development phase, just look up Internet marketing forums to find people who are offering websites for sale that are already in working order! It saves tons of time, and you can have them customized quite easily.

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

This is another topic that is best left to people who already know what they're doing. You can order sets of keywords from companies and outsource the creation of SEOoptimized web pages to the people who are developing your site. In other cases, you may want to hire ghostwriters to fulfill the same purpose.

How To Increase Profits On The Backend PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

THE PSYCHOLOGY OF BACKEND PROFITS

Most businesses spend too much time trying to gain new customers and fail to recognize the immense goldmine that they have in their existing customers. The fact is that the people most likely to buy from you are those people who have already bought from you! That's why backend marketing can help to boost your profits, even when new customers are few and far between. As a strategy to survive and thrive in a recession, it's hard to beat backend marketing.

WHY IT WORKS

Backend marketing works because people are the most suggestible in buying behavior just after they've made a decision to buy. Once they overcome resistance to purchasing from you, they've given you their trust. You no longer have to market to overcome buying resistance; instead, you market to them to have them buy even more from you.

For the business owner, it works because it's easy to implement backend strategies, whether you are an online or a retail business. It just takes a bit of conscious attention to the actual purchasing transaction and understanding when to offer customers an upsell or a more expensive item. Once you get the hang of this, it's a very easy way to increase the bottom line without spending tons of time advertising.

STRATEGIES ARE SIMPLE

Strategies are deceptively simple and work best when implemented with consistency. While it doesn't take much to ask someone if he/she wants a pair of socks to go with a set of shoes he/she just bought, if you don't have that step planned out, you can miss that opportunity. It works best when you use these strategies at specific times and quite consistently.

When planning your sales funnel, you should include deliberate methods to sell backend offers. It shouldn't ever be an afterthought; it should be a carefully planned marketing strategy. It may look like a simple question or an additional ad that is carefully placed on a thank you form, but it's a planned attempt to get your visitors to open their wallets wider. Don't miss an opportunity to increase your bottom line, particularly when the customer is in the mood to buy – which is usually when they've just agreed to buy. By paying attention to your sales funnel and strategies, you can set up a maze of offers that are subtle yet powerful motivators to sell.

THE PLANNED SALES FUNNEL

A sales funnel is the way that you can get an unidentified visitor to self-identify himself/herself and to join your marketing program. The first step is to turn anonymous visitors into real live email addresses that have given you permission to contact them. Without knowing who is visiting your site, you'll never be able to execute a successful sales funnel. That's just the mouth of the sales funnel. After that, you should have some steps set up to place people in particular demographic groups that you then intend to market to in some way.

Whether it is a new or an old customer, they should all be in some area of your sales funnel. Your sales funnel should include backend offers at regular intervals, in emails, in forms, in various types of promotions. It should include various email campaigns. It should track the sales of your offers and how to upgrade people to other lists if they selfidentify themselves as big spenders.

THE DOUBLE OPT-IN FORM

When people first visit, your priority is to get them to register via a frontend offer. This can be a free report, ebook, discount coupon, or some other offer that is given to them in appreciation for subscribing to your email list. Once they've entered the mouth of your sales funnel, the double opt-in form, then you have a perfect right to market to them in any way that you choose, frontend or backend.

The double opt-in form also works great as a way to start the process of marketing to new clients because it weeds out spammers and fake email addresses. In order to receive the freebie, the customer has to verify his/her email address by going to his/her inbox and clicking a link to verify. This then verifies the account, and he/she is fully registered and is sent to the download area where he/she can see the freebie.

WITHIN THE FREEBIE, DO A BACKEND OFFER

While your first few emails should remain friendly and casual, whatever it is that you've offered them as bait to sign up, it should include some backend offers. If it's a report, you should include a description on some good tools or services that you're selling or on other products, even affiliate offers. Ask for referrals too for anyone that might like a free copy of whatever it is that you are giving away. Next, add their name to a particular marketing campaign. If they haven't self-identified themselves yet, just add them to a generic email list for low-income offers and start to send out these emails once a week or as often as they allow you to. You can set this all up through AWeber.com to automate it.

MARKET SOMETHING UNTIL IT SELLS

Once people are in a sales funnel and on an email list, you just continue to market to them per your plan until a sale is made. If they are your existing customers, they've already identified who they are and how much they are willing to spend. If they spend a lot, put them on an email campaign that offers them larger frontend and backend offers. If you don't know whether they'd be willing to spend more, offer them a low-income frontend offer with a high-income backend offer, just in case.

HAVE MANY, MANY OFFERS IN YOUR FUNNEL

If you want to do backend offers, you have to have many products in your inventory. They don't specifically have to be your own products; they can be affiliate products. However, you need sufficient inventory to mix and match your offers so that people won't get tired of seeing the same offer every time and get more resistant to being marketed to out of pure boredom.

THE THREE-TIERED SYSTEM

In your inventory should be three categories of products: low-, mid-, and high-range products. The reason for this is that you are going to cycle through the entire line up of products in whatever demographic your customer is in. If they self-identify themselves as being willing to buy in the mid-range, then you can shift them out of the low-range products and start cycling them through the mid-range products, and so on.

This three-tiered system works well because it allows you to keep track of what part of the sales funnel they are in, what they've already bought, and what you still need to market until it sells. After that, it's just a matter of learning when to give incentives to have them buy more on the backend.

GAIN TRUST WITH YOUR LOW-END PRODUCTS FIRST

Some strategies work best with different tiers of products. You can't really do an immediate backend offer the moment someone buys a low-end product, unless it's very subtle, like something that is included within the content of a freebie. Otherwise, it's not enough time for customers on that tier to really ascertain the quality of your products and to trust that you will deliver what you say you will deliver.

If that's the case, you might want to offer more significant freebies to move them up a notch, like an invitation to a teleseminar or a free coaching session. That way, they can test your products before you actually move into marketing to them for bigger amounts of money.

LIMITED ONE-TIME OFFERS

Once you've gotten a mid-level product sale from a customer, you can start to offer them one-time offers on the backend. These offers are great deals for your regular customers, who now understand that you have good products and they have enough trust in you to purchase more. Once they've identified themselves in this category due to their moving into the mid-priced level of products, you can start to market the limited one-time backend offer.

BE CLEAR IT IS “ONE TIME”

After the sale of a mid-priced product, send the customer to a sales page with some related product on it. Tell them that because they've bought a specific item, they are given this “one time” chance to make another complementary purchase at a discounted price. Make it clear that once they leave the page, that price will no longer be offered. Sweeten the deal by adding some bonuses to your special deal that are also included in your “one-time” offer. These bonus items will no longer be available for free with other packages unless they make this deal. Should they leave the page, the offer is gone forever and so is the discounted price. This really lights a fire under people's butts and is a great way to make use of a backend offer at just the right time.

WHY IT WORKS

The customer who is led to this backend offer has already indicated that he/she is willing to buy mid-priced products from you, so money is not an issue. They probably are also highly interested in your lineup of products. They might decide to wait until they have more money to come back and buy some more from you later, but if you showed them how they would save tons of money from you by buying now, they are more likely to buy the one-time offer. In addition, one of the psychological triggers that people have is a fear of loss. If a deal is really good, they already trust you, and they know that they will most likely want this product in the future, the fear of loss will get them to buy now, knowing that that offer will never appear again and that they will only have themselves to blame for missing it.

TRY A ONE-TIME OFFER ON YOUR THANK YOU PAGE

Instead of going to a totally separate page upon buying the mid-level product, you can include the one-time offer on your thank you form as a special way to thank people for patronizing your site. This is also a nice way to show people that you are paying attention to your buyers and rewarding them for their loyalty.

BONUS OFFERS

Along with the regular lineup of products in your sales funnel, you should set up multiple bonus offers that you can offer on the backend at various times. You can offer them in an email that confirms a download of a product. You can offer them in email campaigns at specific times when some action is taken, whether it's joining a forum or participating in a survey. Once you have someone's attention, it doesn't hurt to offer him/her something special by way of a thank you during his/her interaction with you.

The entire world of products and services are open to market on the Internet, as long as you know how to market using infoproducts and affiliate marketing to sell online. So, where do you start? Isn't it too overwhelming? That's where a market niche becomes an indispensable tool to help you target profitable and interesting markets that can bring attention to your website and help you be successful in your chosen Internet marketing venture.

This report will tell you how to locate hot spots in Internet marketing topics in a methodical way that anyone can follow. This will save you from implementing topics that you may be passionate about, but in reality have very little market value. It will also help you locate the most profitable areas to be in and to time them to get in when they will yield riches without too much extra effort. When you know how to pick out great hot spots for topics you will find that your Internet marketing gets quicker and easier.

WHY PASSION ISN'T ENOUGH

Many experts advise you to follow your passion and the money will follow. While this may seem like good advice, the Internet is such a vast landscape that to maximize the potential that your passion matches what people are actually searching for online you need a better plan. So, while passion is a good indication that you will be interested enough to pursue a topic longterm, it's not necessarily the only ingredient you need to succeed. You actually need to know what topics are popular and being search actively on the Internet, to start understanding how to locate a hot topic. In addition, as an Internet marketer, you want to pick a topic that is profitable, and there are ways to do that using tools like the Google Keyword Tool, which will be discussed later more indepth. And, finally, you want to know how competitive the niche is, so that you find a pool that hasn't been over-fished by bigger players.

In Internet marketing terms, what you want to find are hot spot topics that have the following characteristics:

High demand

Many people are interested in searching for this topic and they are keying in various phrases to the search engines that can be mined for traffic and profit.

High Cost-Per-Click (CPC)

Google establishes the CPC for keywords and phrases. Based on that, you can tell when one word or phrase is more profitable than another based on what advertisers are willing to pay a publisher per click of that keyword or phrase.

Low Competition

Since most Internet marketers know that they want a high demand or high CPC to get good niches for profit, they are usually highly competitive too. However, there are still some out there that you can find that are not as competitive and we'll show you how to locate them.

Advertisers Present

You want to also find hot spots that are of interest to affiliate or marketing advertisers. At least 20 advertisers for the hot spot shows it is good to try out.

TWO METHODS TO IDENTIFY THE HOT SPOTS There are two methods to locate the hot spots in Internet marketing topics: brainstorming them or researching them. Brainstorming is not a bad idea, but if you use it, you should also research and analyze your ideas to make sure they are viable.

BRAINSTORMING

Here, you want to start engaging your creativity to find hot spots that you are passionate about that might have some potential to be great niches. One way to start is to just start trying to look at things from the point of view of a consumer. What are the burning issues consumers are trying to solve? These are the things they will be searching online to resolve.

For instance, you can use your own experience to generate some potential questions consumers might have, like:

1. Have I invested my savings wisely?

2. How do I stop a foreclosure?

3. How can I lose weight quickly?

4. Do I need to be on antidepressants?

5. What area in the country has the best job prospects?

Now you begin to see that when people are faced with a question they want an answer to, they aren't going to search for the question, they will actually search for the solution! If you are the marketer, you may be thinking that they will look up weight or foreclosure problems, in actuality, they will be looking for solutions. So, they might type into a search engine:

1. Where to invest money in 2008

2. Foreclosure solutions

3. Weight loss programs

4. Medical advice on depression

5. Job markets in the United States

So, when you are brainstorming keywords or phrases, you can start with a basic question that might be being asked, but always try to find the way it might be searched to by using words like cure, solution, program, and so on.

RESEARCHING YOUR CHOSEN TOPICS

The next method uses the Google Keyword Tool, or something similar (like Overture) that can help you identify 1) other associated keywords or phrase to your niche, and 2) how hot the niche really is.

This tool will help you measure the three of the four criteria that keyword or phrase should meet to see if it is worth developing into a full-blown niche. It is located here:

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal . Once you have a good idea of some potential keywords or phrases you want to research, you just go to the tool, and insert it. It will then generate a list of words or phrases, along with the advertising competition and the monthly approximate search volume for them, for the current month. To see how much the keyword is worth by CPC, you click the drop-down list which states “Show/hide columns.” Then, choose the option to show the estimated average CPC.

This will give you an idea of how competitive and how profitable the keyword or phrases you have brainstormed might be, and also how valuable to you as an Internet marketer the niche might be. Keep doing this for all the keywords or phrases, and try to find some that aren't as competitive, have a high CPC and high search volume (demand).

You can even take keyword phrases generated by the tool and plug those in to see if it comes up with different keyword phrases that are better choices. As you do this process, it will help you to define your target niche better and also give you more ideas on some niches you may start to recognize as you go along this process.

HOW HOT IS IT?

When you have some good choices, you will have a list of choices to investigate further. You still want to check to see if advertisers are interested in doing affiliate marketing offers. You will want to consider other environmental factors that might contribute to it's “hot” factor. You'll want to know how many people are talking about this topic. Is it too controversial to handle? It's not just the Google Keyword analysis that will determine whether this the “hot” topic is a good topic to develop more. You will want to see what else you can find out about this topic to determine if you want to pursue it. For instance, in terms of how many people are talking about it or whether affiliate marketers are interested in it, you will have to do a little further snooping. You can go to your affiliate bank programs, that you've already signed up as a publisher, and find out what affiliates offers are available that might match the niche. Some of these sites are www.clickbank.com or www.cj.com. After you log in, try to find what offers you might be able to put up on your web pages should you decide to target that niche. If you find very few, that this is an indication that advertisers are not that interested in this niche.

Another way to find out who is interested and how much it is being talked about, is to enter the keyword phrase into Google and see how many search results come up. If it is highly competitive, you will get too many results. If there is little interest, you will only get a few results. This will help you determine whether you have either too broad or too narrow a topic to generate the kind of interest you need to make money with it.

Chapter 1

Definition of a Happy and Successful life

We all have formed our own definitions of happiness right from childhood. A lot of these perceptions are because of conditioned development i.e. they are a part of our habits due to repetitive inculcation by parents, teachers and the society in general. That is why, none of us has actually pondered about what exactly makes us feel happy! This feeling has been left to our sub-conscience and we simply feel the happiness according to the situation we are in.

A lot of small things can give happiness to us. For instance, just the thought of shopping or spending money tends to excite us and makes us feel happy. Opportunities and new ideas also have a similar effect on us. This excited state makes us imagine things related to these incidents. For example: the perspective of going on vacation while getting an office bonus would not only make us excited, but also make us plan and imagine the holiday. In fact, we would feel the bliss without actually being on the vacation itself! However, when being on the actual vacation, the excitement tends to settle down as one begins to feel contented.

Same is the case with objects. We are quite crazy to purchase the latest cell phone, laptop, I-pod or the new car. But once we own that stuff, the excitement settles down and the appeal doesn’t stay the same. The cycle of excitement begins again when another new product is launched.

Let’s pause for a second here and seriously think about our domain of happiness. Is it pertained to acquiring latest objects only? Does it end at wishes being fulfilled? Is our domain of happiness limited to spending good time with family or friends only? We are so involved in this cycle of wishes that we actually forget to see what real happiness is and how it can be achieved.

Self Improvement and Motivation For Success

The domain or definition of happiness varies for every individual as they have their own individual needs. For some people, achieving a good career path provides happiness. For some, it is their fulfillment of goals and objectives where as bringing happiness on the face of the deprived can give some people happiness.

However, everybody doesn’t have it easy in this world. Our income, education, family, environment, society and friends all affect our domain of happiness. We might not always have the desired income needed to fulfill the wishes or may be the career isn’t going as smooth as we had planned. So what does it do to us? Does it burst our balloon of hope and excitement or does it renew our hopes, makes us clear our visions and set ahead for the future with new motivation? How do you react when things don’t turn out as you had planned? Most importantly, is your reaction appropriate or do you need to change your attitude and perception?

This book is all about ‘you’ and how you can change dimensions in order to look ahead to a better future. The upcoming chapters are a complete guide so that you can set yourself in a new direction. After all, success is all about having the right paradigm shift!

Chapter 2

Self Improvement through motivation

In order to be happy and satisfied, one needs to be motivated. Motivation basically gives us the hope to look ahead and dream higher. It is the force that propels us to go ahead. But why do we need to change? People change for various reasons. Some change because they don’t want to face the pain in their lives. Some change because they are sick of their failures. For instance: poor grades can make us realize the importance of hard work while studying and can motivate us to change. Similarly, debts can makes us look for other jobs or to do more than one job.

This world is full of negativity and regardless of whatever people say, we need to face this negativity and try to get over it. But it is you who has to decide. Who is in charge of your life, you or your surroundings? Once, you decide that you are in charge of whatever happens to you, you will put your foot down and get over whatever negativity surrounds you.

It is easy for us to remain is the shelter of our comfort zone, but have your ever tried stepping out of your comfort zone and take a sneak peek into what lies beyond? What exactly prevents you from doing so?
Failure? Fears? Shame?

The basic thing that you need to improve yourself is first, to have a goal and set some objectives. Once, you know where you are headed towards, you will easily maintain your focus and not be strayed away by anything that hinders your path.

Next is to set some concrete plans which can enable you to go for your goals. While planning, don’t just think within your comfort zone. Step out of the box in order to discover a newer you. Identify your problems and limitations and use techniques to get over them. Make sure that you know what your weaknesses are and correct them while being in the domain of the ethical values that you cherish.

Execute your plan and don’t worry whether you have succeeded or not. Failures would not break you, but rather would strengthen you. Re work your plans if they fail, identify loopholes and use methods which help you overcome these loopholes. Every failure teaches you what to avoid and ends in giving you a big lesson. Learn from these lessons so that you can strengthen the newer you.

Try to avoid negative thoughts and people. Such thoughts and words tend to self limit your potential and make you go weak. If you believe in your plans, you focus on your direction and make changes only if you wish to, regardless of what others say. This approach would make you jump over the limitations that block your way.

Lastly, you need to enjoy life and take things as they come. When you are happy and content, your mind would work faster and success will come your way. So hold on hard to your dreams, take control of your life and set ahead to enjoy the journey with a newer you.

Introduction

It all begins with a free blog...

In this day and age blogs are everywhere. Everyone seems to have one, from celebrities to the average Joe. People create blogs for all sorts of reasons, from personal to business. Blogs are also considered an essential component of any online business and is one of the best ways to make money online. You’ve probably already come across many people who have been able to quit their day job because they make full-time incomes just from blogging.

In this course we’ll teach you step-by-step exactly how you can research, install, and completely set up a blog that will bring you automated traffic and make you money.

This ebook was designed to be a complete guide that will not only teach every beginner the basics, but will also offer more experienced marketers some additional tips and tricks for aspects like monetization, traffic generation and long-term success strategies.

Once you've got your blog (i.e. traffic magnet) in place, then it's time to move on to the videos and really crank up your money making efforts.

With that in mind, let's get started...

Choosing a Topic

The very first step before setting up your blog is to choose your blog’s topic or ‘niche’.

Try to choose something that is both something you’re passionate about (or at least have some interest in) and something that’s profitable (something that other people are passionate about and are willing to spend money on).

Obviously it’s really important that you have some knowledge on your niche so you know what you’re talking about when making blog posts. If you are knowledgeable on your topic, visitors to your website will perceive you as an expert and someone they can go to for advice. The information you will be providing on your blog must be helpful and informative in order for you to build credibility and make money. People will only pay for information that is genuinely useful.

However in saying this, you don’t actually have to be a qualified expert in your field, just as long as you know just a bit more than the average Joe. Even if you’re unsure whether you’re someone who can come across as being knowledgeable and credible in your niche, it’s nothing a little research won’t fix.

So the first thing you should do is think about your interests and what you are passionate about. Something that is a big industry, that has a lot of money in it e.g health and fitness. Next, you will need to break this down into a sub-topic. For example, the health and fitness niche is very profitable, however it is swamped with competition, so you will want to narrow it down to a smaller sub-niche such as ‘raw food diets’ or ‘pilates for rock climbers’ etc.

Even if the niche is small and obscure, it can still be extremely profitable and under-monetized with big potential. However don’t go too small into sub-niches with absolutely no competition because chances are there’s not much money in them.

Topics that are always popular and profitable are:

- Making Money

- Relationships and Dating

- Health and Fitness

Niche Research

Remember: People pay for solutions to their problems. It’s really just as simple as finding out what your target market wants and giving it to them.

Here’s the 3 step process:

1) Identify your target market’s problems

2) Find solutions for their problems

3) Give them your solutions to their problems.

So, the first thing we need to do is to go out into your niche and do a little research.

You should look for:

- What kind of people they mostly are?

- What are they most passionate about and why?

- What do they spend most of their time talking about (and probably thinking about) in regards to this topic?

- What are their main concerns/problems?

- What are they currently doing to solve their problems?

- What can you do to offer a solution to these problems?

The best places to go to find this information out is the places where your niche/target market hang out; forums, popular websites, social sites etc.

Find Forums In Your Niche

Do a search on Google for “(your niche here) forum) and if your niche is popular there will be sure to be plenty of results. Sign yourself up for these forums and start interacting with your target market. Look through and study the most popular threads and find out what everyone is mostly talking about. You are sure to come across popular sub-topics.

Find out what are the most burning issues and problems in your niche that people are talking about. Find out what they are most passionate about. This is where the money is. If you’re still unsure, or want to cut to the chase, you could simply just straight out ask these questions on the forum and you’ll be sure to get some good ideas.

Also, another great thing about forums is just by looking thought and reading people’s posts you can find out where else people in that niche hang out and what websites and resources are popular to them. You can also find out what kind of products they use and enjoy and what kind of material they read/watch.

Social Media/Web 2.0 Sites

Social sites and community sites are also popular places for groups of people passionate about the same thing to hang out and share ideas. Websites like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Digg, YouTube, StumbleUpon all have plenty of people constantly discussing and sharing ideas and info on their interests, passions and problems. Of course, I’ve only mentioned just a few of the web 2.0 sites you can go to; there are literally dozens out there. Simply go to these sites and do a search for your niche or sub niche and you’ll get plenty of information and ideas!

Get Ideas From Yahoo Answers

One of the best places to find the hottest questions and answers in your niche is Yahoo Answers (https://answers.yahoo.com). Here you will find people asking all sorts of interesting (and shameless) questions on every topic you can imagine. It’s extremely popular and is a great source for finding out what people are having trouble with and what they really want and need. Not only will you find ideas on what sub-niche you should choose, you’ll also have plenty of questions and answers you can base your blog posts around! Google Alerts: Get Knowledge and News Automatically Google Alerts is a great tool that’s designed to automatically alert you to information you’re interested via your Gmail account. You can request to receive alerts of the latest news and information on your niche and choose how frequently you want to receive them. It’s so handy!

First, I’d recommend you set up a new Gmail account specifically for receiving alerts on your topic. So go to https://www.googlemail.com and create a new Gmail account. Next, go to https://www.google.com/alerts to set up your alerts. For example, if I was setting up a blog on ‘raw food diets’ I’d enter it into Google Alerts as the ‘search terms’:

Next, select the type of search you want. Select ‘Everything’ because then every time your search term is mentioned in news, blogs, groups, and videos, you will receive alerts. Now select how often you want these alerts and how many results you want. I suggest selecting to receive alerts daily, but it’s up to you.

Lastly, enter your email address you want the alerts sent to. Once you’ve done some keyword research (we’ll get onto that next) you could also enter your keywords into Google Alerts to see what comes up.
