Types of Squeeze Pages

You may be surprised to know that the length of your squeeze page can make a huge difference to conversions. Some people feel strongly that a short squeeze page is best, but long squeeze pages can perform better in certain situations.

Short Squeeze Pages

Short squeeze pages actually do perform better in many cases. You may be tempted to think that “more is better”, but when it comes to squeeze pages, short and sweet is usually the better option.

When all you’re asking for is an email address, and you’re not depending on Google (which isn't fond of short squeeze pages) for traffic, a short-form squeeze page will generally outperform a longer squeeze page by a large margin.
Long Squeeze Pages

Long squeeze pages are required if you’re trying to get a lot of traffic from Google, especially AdWords. They want to see a long squeeze page with your logo, information about what you’re offering and a lot more.

Video Squeeze Pages

Video squeeze pages are increasingly popular these days, because they can be very effective in many niches, and because they allow you to pack a powerful punch in terms of impact. Videos convey information very effectively, and now that most people have fast internet, they make more sense than ever before.

When creating a video squeeze page, you want to have a minimalistic design. If a design is too fancy, it will overwhelm the video and distract attention away from

it, negating the power of the video itself. Instead, use a design that has few graphics and where the colors complement the video without distracting from it.

Many people use a dark background for videos, because it makes the video stand out. However, be sure the text elements on the page are still easy to read, perhaps by putting them on a white background. One easy way to do this is by making the opt-in form appear to be on an index card, piece of paper, post-it note, or other similar element. Otherwise, you may want to make the entire page on a white background.

Remember, you won't need a lot of text if you have a video. All you'll really need is a call-to-action that asks people to subscribe and tells them why they should, along with your privacy statement.

Squeeze Page Elements

There are a number of different squeeze page elements that you can test and tweak to improve your conversions. Some of these elements are critical, and others are not, but still important. However, testing how they interact together can sometimes make elements that aren’t as important much more effective. For example, template colors aren’t generally critical, however when you combine a certain template color with a certain headline, the results might be drastically better than when you use either element on its own. This is why it's so important to test various things.

Headline

The headline is generally considered the most critical element of any sales or squeeze page, because it’s the first thing people usually read. If the headline doesn’t capture attention and generate interest in the first few seconds, you’ve probably lost the visitor for good.

In fact, aside from the type of squeeze page you use and the location of your opt-in form, the headline is the one thing you absolutely must test if you want to get the best conversions possible.

If you think you’ve chosen the perfect headline to convey your message but it just isn’t performing as well as you think it should, don’t be afraid to test subtle variations. Sometimes all you really need to do to a headline is change the wording slightly or change the way the text is highlighted or underlined and your conversions will increase.

It’s a good idea to make your headline into a graphic, because you can stylize the text and add more attractive highlights, underlines and other elements to draw attention much easier than you can with standard text.

Sub-Headlines

Your sub-headline is another element that can make a big difference in conversions. While it’s generally not as critical as the headline, it still plays an important role in converting visitors.

Bullet Points

If your squeeze page contains bullet points, you might want to test not only the content of the bullet points, but also the wording. Bullet points are especially important for letting people know exactly what they’ll be getting when they subscribe to your list, so they need to be good.

If you’re giving away a free report or other freebie, your bullet points should describe the key benefits of obtaining it. Let them know what they will learn inside the report. More importantly, let them know what this information could potentially do for them.

Explosive Scarcity Deals PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

Limited Time Offers

Perhaps the most common scarcity device is the limited time offer. This method simply has a deal expire at a certain time or on a certain day. You’ve seen these in use for many years.

For example, you’ve probably seen commercials on television that tell you that you must call by midnight to get a bonus item or a lower price than normal.

Sometimes these offers are, essentially, worthless. Often they show the same add daily for months at a time, devaluing the offer entirely. Of course, people seeing the offer for the first time don’t know this. But it kills the company’s credibility once the customer sees the offer several times.

If you’re going to use this tactic, be sure your deal expires when you say it will, and don’t repeat the deal too soon after it ends. Ideally you should wait at least a few weeks before you run the same, or a similar deal.

Limited Quantity

Another very important type of scarcity tactic is offering limited quantity. You probably already understand why this method works so well. Anyone who has ever collected anything that involves rarity should understand this very well.

For example, some car companies will create a “limited edition” model of a popular type of car. They might make only 100 of these, or 1000. They add a few extra features to the model that cannot be found in the standard model, however the differences are usually relatively minor and mostly cosmetic. Then they charge several times the price of the standard model.

Why are people willing to pay so much for a car that is not profoundly different? Because it is a status symbol to know you have a car that many people will never even see in their lifetime, much less own.

Of course, this tactic doesn’t have to be used only on products that make a user feel a level of status. It can also be used with price just to let people know they must hurry to buy or lose the deal forever.

You may wonder why you should use this offer instead of a timed offer. There are multiple reasons, but perhaps the most important is that it may be difficult to gauge how long you should run an offer. You may not know how long it will take to sell out, or how long you should set the offer to run for maximum impact. However, setting a limited quantity, especially a very low quantity, will almost always inspire urgency.

When should you not use this particular scarcity device? When you don’t believe you will get a significant amount of traffic quickly. If someone comes to your deal page and sees 144 of 150 left and they return several hours later and see 143 of 150 left, there isn’t much call for urgency.

However, if they return hours later and se 28 of 150 left, you better believe they’re going to act quickly!

Dime Sales

A dime sale raises the price of an item with every purchase or every certain number of purchases. If you get a decent number of sales in a relatively short time period, this can be a big motivator for people to take action quickly.

Let’s say you start the price out at $7 and increase the price by a dime with every sale up to a maximum of $14. The first person gets the product for $7. The second person pays $7.10. The next pays $7.20, and so on. Finally, the price hits $14 and it stays there for any remaining buyers.

As people reload the page and see the price going up, up, up, they are likely to buy right away, not wanting to wait and end up paying more. Just keep in mind that later buyers may be very demotivated to buy, because they will feel unhappy that they could have got the product for the initial price but missed it.

Time Interval

Another type of tactic that is very similar to a dime sale raises the price in time intervals instead of with sales. This is effective when you want to have a dime sale but may not have enough sales to effectively inspire urgency.

The price may go up every 15 minutes or every hour or even every day until it hits the maximum price and stays there.

Occasion Promotions

Holidays and other special occasions are great for running deals. This could be any holiday, but it is helpful to tie the occasion in with the product.

For example, you might want to run a deal on a product that might appeal to men around Father’s Day, or a deal on a product that appeals to students near the end of summer right before back-to-school time.

Affiliate Apocalypse PLR Ebook

You’ve seen those affiliate offers where the bonuses seem even more valuable than the product itself, right? They are everywhere for one reason -they work! Incentives are great for making a deal “too good to pass up”.

Let’s say you’re marketing a weight loss product that sells for $19.95. Maybe it’s a month’s supply of a particular diet pill. You could offer a whole package of weight loss guides and such to go with it, increasing the full value of that $19.95 product to hundreds of dollars!

For example, you might include:

1. A 100-page guide to losing weight without counting calories that normally sells for $77.

2. A 50-page recipe book of healthy weight loss recipes that normally sells for $17.

3. A 20-minute workout video that normally sells for $27.

Those three bonuses alone increase the value of the product by $121! When using incentive marketing, be sure you keep two things in mind:

1. The incentive should always match the general niche of the product.

2. The incentive should be something one would consider valuable, not something they could get free elsewhere.

Choosing Products to Promote

One major mistake the average affiliate zombie makes is to choose products blindly and promote them just because they look interesting or have a high commission. Don’t do this! It’s a trap!

Think about it. As an online marketer, the most valuable asset you have is your reputation. If you ruin it, you may never get it back! If you do, it could take many months or even years to restore. And yes, promoting a bad product can ruin your reputation even if you have absolutely nothing to do with the product itself!

Before you promote a product, try it out yourself. Either use the product, or at the very least inspect it thoroughly to be sure that it is quality and does what it promises it will do.

Also, be sure the company’s customer service is top-notch. If a company is going to upset your buyers, they aren’t going to be your buyers for very long! They may start complaining to you, and if you don’t do something they are going to be mad at you, because you recommended the product. In other words, if they can’t get a refund from the other company they bought from, they may expect you to offer it to them!

It’s best to just avoid that hassle altogether by ensuring you only promote quality products that will really benefit your visitors. Never, ever just promote a product blindly and hope it turns out okay!

Don’t Be a Product Zombie Affiliate Apocalypse

When it comes to choosing affiliate products, quality is vital. However, the actual products you promote can be just as important. For example, stop promoting the same old stuff everyone else is promoting. Don’t be a product zombie!

Clickbank products can be great, but if that’s all you ever promote, you aren’t likely to get wealthy. Instead, look for something unique to promote. Find small, individual affiliate programs that promote unusual products.

Promote physical products and not just information products. Sure, info products have very high profit margins. They can also be a tough sell, because many people don’t believe they have as much value as a physical product. Or people have been burned by low-quality info products and don’t trust them anymore.

It’s fine to promote some virtual products, however adding some physical products to the mix can greatly increase the chances that you’ll find something that will interest your list members and blog visitors.

If you can’t find anything interesting to promote, you might consider creating your own product. You can always outsource this if you need to. Just remember to create something people will actually want to pay money for. You may be in the HDTV niche, but not many people would be willing to pay money for a 20-page guide on how to choose the right HDTV. That might make a great freebie to get people to opt in to your list, but it’s not a great product to sell!

In addition to contests for product launches, you should also consider holding ongoing contests that will keep affiliates motivated to promote your products in between launches.

One problem many product owners experience is the “temporary” nature of product launches. They experience a huge rush of sales in the beginning, and then the rush slows quickly to a mere trickle, or even nothing at all.

Fortunately, you can help turn your products into perpetual cash machines by offering ongoing contests that are designed to keep affiliates interested so they’ll continue promoting your products long after the initial launch.

Contests could be monetary or non-monetary. They could be based on the top affiliates, or on random affiliates. These types of contests motivate two entirely different types of affiliates.

Those that reward the top affiliates will motivate super affiliates, because they will feel confident of their ability to win. They will also tend to be more competitive, because they won’t want to be outdone by their competition. After all, they have a reputation to maintain. The last thing they will want is to be the #5 seller and have their competitors outsell them.

However, those types of contests may actually de-motivate smaller affiliates.

They may feel jealous, or like you don’t appreciate their efforts. They may actually stop promoting you altogether. You may not care about one sale here and there, but remember... those sales add up. If you have 100 small affiliates selling a copy or two each week, it can be a lot of money over time.

In order to motivate smaller affiliates, be sure to hold contests that will include them. For example, you could offer a $50 Amazon or iTunes gift card each week or month to a random person who sends at least one sale during that timeframe.

This will motivate people to keep promoting you, because they will know that as long as they send even one sale, they will have the chance to win a prize. Sometimes, just knowing you have a chance at something is a huge motivator.

Ongoing Bonuses

Bonuses are also great as ongoing incentives. You can offer perpetual bonuses for sales, and you can also offer cumulative bonuses.

For example, you can offer the bonus mentioned in the previous chapter (such as 1 bonus commission for each 5 sales). That would be the perpetual bonus. Then you can offer a yearly bonus for your top earners.

Like companies often give Christmas bonuses, you could give your top affiliates a Christmas bonus, as well. You might give them 10% of their total yearly sales as a bonus the first week of December.

However, you must either save 10% of your earnings all year to ensure you can cover this bonus, or just don’t tell anyone you’ll be doing it until it’s time to do it. Imagine how disastrous it would be for your reputation if you promised this and couldn’t afford to deliver!

Attracting Affiliates

Attracting affiliates isn’t as difficult as it may seem. The only reason most people seem to think it’s difficult to get affiliates is because they aren’t providing the things affiliates are looking for.

Quality, In-Demand Products

Perhaps the single most critical element of running an affiliate program is to provide quality products that are in high demand. It doesn’t matter what else you do, or how much you’re paying, if your products are low quality or are not in high demand, affiliates aren’t going to promote them.

It may be tempting to create products in small niches with less competition, and that’s fine for the occasional product. Just keep in mind that if a product is not in very high demand, the likelihood of anyone having traffic or a list to promote that product is slim.

Instead, stick mostly to products in very popular niches. Competition doesn’t matter so much when you have a large number of super affiliates promoting the product. And if you create a very high quality product and follow the other tips in this chapter, you will!

Great Sales Copy

Another very important element of successfully finding affiliates is to be sure your products have killer sales copy. If the copy on your sales page isn’t up to snuff, affiliates can smell it a mile away and they aren’t likely to promote the product.

Do yourself a favor and hire a good copywriter to create your sales letter. If you can’t afford one, read some books on writing sales copy and save up to hire one as soon as possible!

If you’re low on funds, it is recommended that you pay for really great sales copy for one product and promote the heck out of it rather than trying to create a bunch of products with poor to mediocre copy.

Beautiful Graphics

Beautiful graphics aren’t absolutely critical, but they certainly help. People do judge a book by its cover, and they will judge a website by its graphics, as well. It’s unfortunate, but it happens.

If you don’t want to pay to get great graphics, you may want to use no graphics at all and just use a standard CSS or HTML template with sales copy. Some people say this works better than fancy graphics, anyway, because sometimes the graphics can detract from the actual sales letter.

Affiliate Tools

If you want to attract the best affiliates, then you need to provide them with the best tools. Not only will this attract affiliates to promote your products, but it will make it much easier for them to do so.

It is appalling that in today’s world, there are still affiliate programs that don’t provide promotional materials. They give you an affiliate link and then expect you to do everything else on your own. Shocking!

It’s important to provide a wide variety of tools to affiliates, because affiliates promote products in many different ways. Some use blogs or websites, some use email marketing, and still others have additional methods.

List Segmentation Master PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

There are many different ways to segment your lists so that you’re able to “divide and conquer” your subscribers while being able to better understand what they are most interested in.

Different methods of list segmentation will be more effective than others depending on what your qualifiers are. For example, age segmentation would more valuable and important to someone marketing to seniors or college students than to someone selling weight loss products.

It’s up to you to decide which segmentations will work best for your subscriber list, but it’s important to always test different types of filters so that you can begin to group subscribers based on the demographics that make it easier for you to target.

Here are some various types of segmentation you might want to use, and a little bit of information about why each one could be useful:

1. Gender - Segmenting by gender could be extremely useful if your products are mostly useful or of interest to one gender. It can also be helpful if you have a different version of your products for different genders, or if you want to promote gender-specific affiliate products. Additionally, it could be helpful if you promote a product that might offend or alienate one gender.

2. Age - Age segmentation is especially useful if you’re marketing to a very specific age-related group. For example, if you’re marketing to high school or college students or seniors, you might want to segment your list according to age.

3. Employment Status - Segmenting by employment status is especially useful if you sell products geared toward business and employment. For example, you might want to send emails about a resume-writing guide to those who are currently unemployed.

4. Geographic Location - Segmenting by location can be beneficial if you have different versions of your product for different languages. It could also be very important if your product only applies to people who live in a certain area, or is more beneficial to people who live in certain places.

5. Purchase History - Purchase history is one of the most useful segmentation types, because it can let you know if a subscriber is a “deadbeat” or not. A deadbeat subscriber is someone who has not made a purchase from you within a specific length of time. You can either remove those people from your lists, or you can tailor your promotions specifically to them in order to potentially increase response.

6. Purchases - You can also segment by what they purchased, how much they spend, how often they bought from you, etc. By segmenting this way, you can send certain promotions to people who spend the most or least, those who buy rarely or often, or those who buy specific items.

7. Relationship Status - If you sell products that relate to dating or relationships, this type of segmentation could be extremely vital. For example, you might not want to send an ad for “how to get your ex back” to someone who is married, because it might damage their current relationship if their partner sees it and thinks they’ve requested the information. And if someone is single, they probably won’t be interested in a product about how to keep a marriage happy.

8. Abandoned Shopping Carts - If your list works with your ecommerce system, you may even be able to segment your list according to people who have abandoned their purchases. It’s been discovered that up to half of all ecommerce transactions are abandoned before the sale is completed. If you segment these people, you can send them a message tailored to asking them why they abandoned their purchase and what you can do to get them to complete it.

9. Read History - If you segment your list according to who actually opens your emails and reads them most often, you can reward those who loyally open your messages most often with special incentives. Then you can tell those who rarely read your messages what they’re missing out on by not reading them!

As you segment your lists, remember that these factors can change. You probably won’t have a way to allow your subscribers to update their information in your system, so someone who is single when they subscribe could get married, and someone who is unemployed when they subscribe could get a job.

Still, segmentation is extremely useful in many ways. It will allow you all kinds of ways to improve your list’s responsiveness, from sending the right messages to the right people, to removing deadbeats and tailoring messages to specific groups.
Maximizing Response Rates

There are many ways to get more from your list, including increasing open/read rates, increasing sales, etc. In this section, you’ll learn some valuable ways to increase the overall profitability and responsiveness of your list.

A/B Split Testing

One thing most people neglect to do is to use A/B split testing to find out which offers generate the best response and gain the most exposure so you can duplicate it again in the future. Part of segmentation is splitting people into multiple groups in order to test various offers and ad types.

Some email services have this testing built right into their system. In this case, it’s very easy to use split testing in order to find out which version of a message or offer gets the best response.

If you don’t have this option built in, you can use a separate split testing software and simply segment your list and send one version out to each segment.

Changing your Offers & Messages

If your messages aren’t getting a good response in general, you may want to tweak your offers and messages to get a better response. Split testing will help you figure out which versions perform best, but how you change your messages or offers is purely up to you.

If people aren’t opening your messages often, you should work on your subjects. Don’t use anything that could be misleading, such as "You’ve received a payment", or "Personal message from me.” This will upset people and you’re likely to see your unsubscribe rates shoot through the roof.

Most self-published authors seem to think they can handle editing on their own. That may be true in a small percent of cases, however almost everyone needs a little help in this department.

Ideally, you’ll want to hire a professional to edit your work. If you don’t and you miss major mistakes, people will likely tear you apart in reviews and your sales will suffer badly.

If you truly can’t afford professional editing services, you should at least get some beta readers to look over your book in exchange for a free copy. Just tell them to email you a list of any errors they find in facts, spelling, grammar, etc. This will catch a lot of mistakes you miss yourself.

Another tip that will help you when editing your own book is to print the book and use a highlighter to mark mistakes. It’s easier to catch mistakes in print than it is on a computer screen.

Also, try editing one sentence at a time and reading each sentence backwards. This way you are more likely to catch mistakes that you might skip over, because when you read a sentence with a mistake, your brain will sometimes automatically correct it.

Video Creation Scientist PLR Ebook

Wideo is a bit different than most web-based video creation solutions. Instead of providing a few themes and having users insert photos and videos to produce a basic slideshow, Wideo goes further by providing a way to create custom animations using various shapes and icons.

Above you can see an example of some of the icons they have available for use in animations. These icons, along with various background colors and images, shapes, text, and music, can be used to create very cool animated movies quickly.

If you’re looking to make something like a cool Flash animation, Wideo is a good choice.

Wideo has several different payment plans to fit all budgets. For example, you can pay $9 to remove their branding from a single video, or you can pay $150 to remove the branding from every video you create for an entire year. You can also download a 1280x720 HD MP4 of a single video for $29, or you can pay $249 to be able to download every video you create for a year.

Stupeflix

Stupeflix will allow you to make general slideshow type presentations with standard effects using a variety of templates. There aren’t a lot of templates to choose from, but those that are available are attractive and interesting.

Stupeflix has plans that start at $5 per month for personal use and $39 per month for professional use.

Animoto

Animoto is another video creation system that uses templates to allow jazzed up slideshow type videos. They have a wide range of templates for everything from general use to more professional styles.

Their system is very easy to use. You just need to upload some pictures, choose your music, add a little text, and press a button and your video is created.

At the moment, they have nearly 50 themes available for pro users. Pricing starts at $39 per month, or $249 per year if you pay annually.

One True Media

One True Media is a good option if you need something easy and free and you don’t mind branding in your videos. For creating a bunch of short, 30-second or less videos, it’s a great option.

However, if you want to download your videos and use them for something like a Udemy course or you want to upload them to places like YouTube and Facebok, you'll need a pro account.

A pro account increases your storage from 200 MB to “nearly unlimited”, lets you create 1-hour videos instead of 30-second videos, and allows you to have unlimited songs in each video, as opposed to a maximum of three in a video with a free account.

A paid account is only $3.99 per month or $39.99 per year if you pay annually.

Go Animate

GoAnimate is different from other video creation websites, because it allows you to put together animated cartoon videos. You simply choose a starter cartoon, edit it, and create your video. You can move around various elements in the environments, add characters, change their look, and more.

Plans start at $39 per month or $299 per year and go up to $79 per month or $599 per year.

Masher

Masher is a very simple system that allows users to create simple videos for free. You simply choose a theme, upload videos and/or photos, add some text, and save the video.

Masher has very limited themes at the moment, but it’s extremely simple to use with a step-by-step system. Best of all, it’s free if you’re fine with branding on your video!

You can also download a non-branded video in the future, but at the moment it says this premium service is coming soon.

Videolicious

Videolicious is made for editing actual video through an app made for iPhone, iPad and iPod. It’s best if you’re going to take videos and put them together into interesting presentations. Other video services can do this, too, but Videolicious is made specifically for dressing up videos rather than making slideshows of pictures.

Videolicious has a number of different features. It works very well on mobile devices, because you can choose video clips directly from your iOS device and put your video together right on your device. You can add a voiceover or music, add music from their huge collection of free, licensed songs, and then upload and share it.

The personal plan is free, and business plans range from $5 to $10 per month for a single user, but that is billed annually. (If you can’t pay for an entire year at once, you can also pay monthly, however the price is doubled.)

Payment Processor Secrets PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

Another major factor to consider is the processor’s payment terms. You need to ask a few key questions in order to determine whether or not a particular processor is right for you.

Let’s say you are drop-shipping merchandise. In case you’re not familiar with it, drop shipping is what you order a product from a wholesaler, and that wholesaler ships directly to your customer. The customer pays you, and you pay the wholesaler.

The trouble is that you must pay to ship that product to the customer upfront, because most wholesalers won’t be willing to extend credit to you. If you don’t have a huge cash reserve, you will probably need to choose a payment processor that can make cash available to you as quickly as possible.

Here are a few examples of common payment terms:

PayPal - If you’re in the United States, PayPal can make your money available to you instantly through their PayPal MasterCard debit card. This card can be used just like any debit card to make purchases with your PayPal balance (up to $3,000 per day), or you can remove money via any ATM (up to $400 per day).

If you are outside the U.S., or you need to move more than these amounts, you can transfer your money to a bank account. This can take up to four business days to complete.

Amazon Payments - Payments can be withdrawn at any time as long as your balance is at least $1.00. You can choose to have your money sent to an Amazon.com gift certificate or you bank account, and it says withdrawal to a bank account takes about 5-7 business days, which they claim is determined by your bank.

Stripe - According to the Stripe website, money shows up in your bank account seven days after the money is charged. If you are paid for an order on Friday, the money will be in your bank account by the following Friday morning.

Braintree - The Braintree website says U.S. merchants receive funds from Visa, MasterCard and Discover transactions within 2 business days, and American Express transactions within 4 business days or less.

2Checkout - Payments are made weekly, but accounts are subject to a reserve that will be held for 90 days in case of fraud or chargebacks.

CiickBank - ClickBank pays by direct deposit or check. Accounts that receive direct deposit are paid once per week or once every two weeks. All other accounts are paid every two weeks.

Pay periods end at 12 A M. Pacific time on Wednesday, or every other Wednesday for two-week payments. Payments are sent on the Wednesday two weeks after the end of a pay period. Thus, it may take a couple of weeks to receive your first payment, but direct deposits will usually come weekly after that. Their minimum payout is $10.

Square - For payments taken during business hours, they are usually available in your bank account the next business day.

Intuit GoPayment - Money is deposited into your bank account daily at 3 P.M. Pacific.

Keep in mind that most processors have payment limits, minimum payouts, etc. For example, you might have to wait until you’ve accrued at least $100 in funds before you’ll be paid.

Or you might only be paid up to a certain amount of the money you receive, while the rest is held in reserve for a certain length of time in case of refunds or fraud.

Regional Availability

Your location is another factor to consider. If you’re in the United States, you probably won’t have to worry so much about this. But if you’re in another country, you may find some payment processors restrict you from being able to use their systems.

The primary reason for this is a high prevalence of fraud in certain countries. However, there are other reasons some processors cannot or will not process transactions in certain countries.

Factors can include:

Currency exchange rates

Banking regulations in that country

The current social or political environment in that country

Other factors

If you are having trouble finding a payment processor that will allow merchants for your country, you may have to consider using a high-risk provider or perhaps partnering with someone who lives in a country that will allow them to get a merchant account and splitting the profits with them.

With their paid account, which is $3.99 per month or $39.99 per year, you can have unlimited songs, nearly unlimited storage, up to 1-hour videos, and you can download your videos and even post them to YouTube and Facebook. This is a cost-effective solution, but all videos are branded with a OneTrueMedia splash page.

Wideo - Wideo is an affordable solution for creating videos. Instead of just uploading images, there are built-in colors, shapes, objects, text and music files you can add to a project, creating unique videos that no one else will have anything like. You can create a video for free, but it will be branded.

You can remove the branding from one video for $9 or all videos within a year for $150 per year for videos hosted online, and you can download a 1280x720 MP4 of one video for $29 or all videos within a year for $249 per year.

These apps and programs are also useful:

Windows Movie Maker - If you have a Windows PC, you can use the Windows Movie Maker software. There are plenty of tutorials online to teach you how to use it, and making a video is simple. This software is free for Windows users.

iMovie - For Mac users, the iMovie program can create stunningly professional videos quickly and easily. The software isn’t free, but it comes with a large variety of templates you can use to make videos. There is also a version of iMovie for the iPad. Again, there are plenty of tutorials online to help you learn how to use this powerful software.

Selling Your Products

There are a couple of different ways to sell eBooks with little or no upfront costs involved. You can sell them directly, either on your website or on ClickBank, or you can upload to Kindle and other platforms.

Let’s take a look at some of the best places to sell your products. Remember, you shouldn’t focus on a single platform. Sell your products through as many platforms as you can and multiply that income!

For years, ClickBank has been one of the most popular places to sell digital products, and for good reason. ClickBank has an unbelievable number of active affiliates who are always looking for new, quality products to promote. This is a major benefit, because your products can make money even if you’re not great at promotion yourself.

If you’re going to sell on ClickBank, you need to keep things in mind:

1. It costs $49.95 for your first product and $29.95 for each additional product, paid on approval of your product, to sell on ClickBank. This could be cost-prohibitive for some people who are just starting out, but it’s definitely worth the cost if you can afford it.

2. You’ll need excellent sales copy and very good graphics in order to attract the attention of the average affiliate. This could also be cost-prohibitive, because a good mini-site design and eCover can cost at least $50 and up to $200 (sometimes even more), and good sales copy can cost hundreds, even thousands of dollars from an experienced, quality copywriter.

However, if you don’t have great sales copy and a nice design, most affiliates won’t even consider you. You could try doing it yourself to save money, but good sales copy is very tough to write unless you have a lot of experience and understand the intricacies of doing so.

3. You must provide promotional material for potential affiliates if you want the best chance at being chosen by affiliates for promotion.

As long as you keep those things in mind, ClickBank can be insanely profitable.

The most popular program for selling books is the Kindle Digital Publishing platform made available through Amazon, also called KDP. Don’t make the mistake of thinking these books are only available on Kindle devices! These days, most devices have a version of the Kindle app available, including the iPhone, iPad, PC, Mac, and more!

The KDP program gives authors 70% royalties for products between $2.99 and $9.99, with a few exceptions (such as sales in certain countries). For everything else, they offer 35% royalties.

If you’re selling a product for $2.99, you’ll get approximately $1.79 in royalties, minus any download fees or other fees. And of course, if you sell in other countries you’ll be paid in that country's currency and subject to exchange rates.

Don’t forget to join Author Central. Once you join, you can add your author names (up to three on one Author Central account) and then add all of their books so you can track their rank, reviews, etc.
