Introduction

You’ve probably read all sorts of posts and emails about the secrets of Joint Venture marketing. All of them offering up rosy visions that include you paired with the top Guru in your niche...

All of them claim it can easily happen… if you only do things the way they say.

It doesn’t matter whether you approach a top guru or someone less prominent (with a large list!) Your success in landing any JV partner depends, like everything else in your marketing career, on:

How driven you are

How confident you are

How creative you are

How “lucky” you are

How savvy and professional you are

But most of all, it depends on one other thing…

Knowing how to approach potential partners in a manner guaranteed to help them say “Yes.”

And this report is going to help you do just that.

What is a Joint Venture Partnership?

Just so we’re on the right page, let’s quickly run through how this works…

In the world of internet marketing, a JV (or “joint venture”) occurs when two separate internet marketers get together to promote one’s product.

There many variations, but ultimately two basic types of Joint Venture, as understood in internet marketing:

A partnership offer (both developing and launching the same product)

A promotion-based offer (your JV partner promotes your product to his list)

In offline marketing, joint ventures are not taken lightly. These can take months to negotiate and a legal contract is always drawn up, with each party’s responsibilities and rights laid out in black and white.

In internet marketing, however, there is usually no need for a contract unless you are actually developing a product together.

What’s The Big Advantage?

The truth is, in internet marketing, a joint venture can be (and usually is) as simple as having a well-respected marketer in your niche provide a review or testimonial.

It can be as simple as sending an email to several marketers and having them say: “Okay, that looks like a win-win situation…”

Or it can indeed take several months, if you’ve opted for a partnership, and you and Marketer B are busy planning the Big Launch for a hot new product that will have both your names on.

If you’re a new marketer, the simple promotional JV offer is by far the easiest to achieve. And it doesn’t matter whether your potential JV partner is someone you simply found on Google, who you had never heard of before today – or the most staggeringly well-known marketer in your target niche:

Present your offer properly, and you’ll make it easy for them to say: “Okay.”

6 Questions To Ask Yourself Before You Approach them

1. “What risks and benefits can I anticipate?”

2. “What risks or benefits could my potential partner perceive?”

3. “What are my chances of making this a success?”

4. “How well have I researched the potential partner I want to approach?”

5. “Do I know how to give my JV proposal the best chance to succeed?”

6. “Will my product really benefit my potential partner’s niche market?”

If your sole reason for this Joint Venture rests on being told you should do it, or getting a sudden idea, or making quick cash, you will definitely need to rethink it. These things may be true – but you may actually not be ready for a JV yet – or you may not know that there’s one glaring condition guaranteed to make your JV offer flop on the spot.

So first, let’s change that situation, before picking our marketer and crafting our offer…

Affiliate Marketing Breakout PLR Ebook

It can be tempting to just throw some graphical ads in the header and sidebar of your blog in an effort to make sales. These types of ads can be effective, but they're rarely as effective as mentions of the products in your blog posts. If you are building a rapport with your readers, they will be interested in the products you recommend, or even just mention.

Just casually working in a reference to a product is the simplest way to get your affiliate link out there. You could mention using the product, or discuss a news story that involves it. If the product appeals to your target market, you should get some clicks, and eventually some conversions.

But the most effective way to generate affiliate sales is to review the products you're promoting. If the product is appropriate for your audience, they will appreciate an in-depth review. And if you've established trust with your readers, a recommendation could be extremely lucrative.

Reviews are also great for bringing in search engine visitors who are interested in making a purchase. Those who are debating whether or not to buy a specific product often do searches for reviews of it. If the search brings them to your blog post, and they like what they see, there's a good chance that they will click your affiliate link and complete the transaction. There's also a good chance that they will bookmark your blog.

When doing product reviews, it is essential to be honest. Your first instinct might be to avoid saying anything bad about something that could make you money, but if every product gets glowing reviews, your readers are going to get suspicious. It's better to lose a sale and keep your readers' trust than vice versa. If you lose a reader's trust, you may never get another opportunity to make a sale to him.

Blogs and affiliate marketing are a match made in heaven. But in order to get the most out of your blog, you must keep it updated with fresh, high quality content. If you can't work an affiliate link into every post, that's okay. In fact, throwing in a promotion-free post every now and then will keep your audience from feeling like they're nothing more than a prospect to you.

You may be surprised that for all the time you've spent getting a feel for how to compose an elegant shot, what is often most important when it comes time for the actual production is people-management skills.

FILM OR DIGITAL?

Now that some of the high-end digital cameras have begun to shoot with enough resolution to rival the rich, warmth of film, your decision about whether to use a film or digital camera has become tougher. For many it's a simple preference, though there are some truisms to consider.

Film almost always looks better in high-motion outdoor shots. It can bring a warmth that is very hard to approximate with even very good digital cameras. It is also very expensive, especially when you're using new stock that hasn't been sitting in a can for several years. You can't always depend upon development of the film to accurately portray the colors you are looking to capture,

MANAGING PRODUCTION TIME WISELY

Time is money, as they say. Though seemingly trite, nowhere it is more true than during the production of your first film. Since you likely will be on a strict budget, planning out your entire day from the first casting call to the final wrap is vitally important.

Assuming that you've put the leg work in on your pre-production, this will be less of a concern, but problems have a tendency to crop up at the last moment that will require you to make some tough decisions as to scenes that you may have to drop or even changes to the script. Being ready to make such decisions is where your skill as a leader will be required.

2 Critical factors about CPA Networks

To understand what’s going on here, you have to realize that CPA networks are 100% responsible for results to their advertisers – the guys who are paying them big bucks. It’s critical that they produce the results they’ve promised the advertisers, and their reputation rides on using marketers like you who present a professional appearance in every aspect of their business.

In other words, they have as big an investment in you as you do in their network. It’s just not monetary, in the strict sense of the word.

That is why you need a professionally developed website or blog to lead them to, with original content and a focused approach, and you need to avoid questions or omissions that will mark you as a “newbie” – or worse, an amateur marketer who is not serious about getting targeted, profitable results.

The second thing you need to know up front is that providing them with a phone number is absolutely crucial, because most legitimate CPA networks will phone and “interview” you. This is a safety precaution from their end – and the fact that they need one is a good sign for you. They want to check out that you’re who you say you are and that you have a grasp on CPA networking.

You don’t need to be intimidated by these “interviews”. The big question they will ask you is probably: “How do you plan to market this product?” If you’ve done your market research properly, you’ll probably already be brimming with ideas (and we’ll get to some suggestions shortly!)

Chapter #10 Google Maps & Places

When you are looking to optimize your local business listing, Google places and maps is a great way to do this. Formerly Google Local, it is truly a powerhouse for free marketing that is available to local businesses.

Google Places displays local business information at the top of organic search results. Organic search results are the results listed directly beneath the search bar. These should not be confused for the sponsored results that are commonly displayed on the right side of the page.

These local results also include a map providing the searcher with directions to your place of business. Since Google will only show up to 7 businesses on their main page (with maps) being in the top 7 for your keywords becomes crucial to your success.

It takes time and effort to become listed in the top 7 amongst the local businesses in your area, but a good way to start is to visit Google and search for Google Places. Register for an account and click on the link that says "Add a business." Google places does currently only allow one number per listing, so make sure it is your company number and that should someone call after business hours they are able to find out about your operating times, and are able to leave a message should they wish to request more information.

When you are creating your description page keep in mind that you are allowed a 200 character description of your business, so you will want to focus almost exclusively on your product or service. This is not the space for going over your company accomplishments or history. This is exclusively a place for letting the customer know what you have to offer.

This way when they run a search for printing paper, if your business is a printing business, it will show up in the search results. Make sure to maximize your 200 character description by choosing very detailed and keyword rich descriptions.

It is important that you don't waste the space and aim to use as many of your top keywords as possible within your description.

Once you have completed your description you are able to submit the form. If you wish to add the business hours and information you can do that at this point as well.

Do keep in mind that with the new Google Places local business, your listing will not be active until you have verified your account. Normally the verification can be completed by a phone call from Google's computers to the phone number of record for the listing.

How To Write Killer Promo Emails PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

When you begin an email marketing campaign, you don?t start with the marketing email, do you? If you do, you are really missing the boat on this one. Affiliate marketing email campagins do not begin with a marketing email. They begin with an opening email. The actually marketing email doesn?t come until later.

IMPORTANT! You don't sell the product or service for which you launch your email marketing campagin in the marketing email itself. The selling of the product or service must be done long before the actual marketing email is sent.

The marketing email for the product or service comes last. The selling is done first. Many affiliate marketers believe that simply sending a marketing email for each product or service they represent to the members of their opt-in lists is sufficient. Not only is it not sufficient, it isn't even in the neighborhood of sufficient. A combination selling and marketing email is an absolute 'no-no' in affiliate marketing.

First you make the recipients of your opt-in list aware that something is about to happen.....something good....something exciting. You've heard about using a tease in your subject line but what we are talking about here is a whole email that is meant to tease and to entice and cause anticipation.

This kind of email is called a “pre-sell” email. The object is to advertise and extoll the virtues of a product or service that isn't yet „available' and to make the members of your list see the advantages to themselves that this product or service can provide for them. You need to have them eagarly anticipating the arrival of your actual marketing email....the one that will send them scurrying for their credit cards because they already know that they want and need the product or service.

If you do the actual marketing email correctly, it will be very short. It will contain only short sentences and short paragraphs. It will have bullet points. That kind of email doesn't afford you the opportunity to do much convincing. The convicing needs to have been already accomplished.

Your pre-sell emails can prime the pump, so to speak. They give you the opportunity to list the value they can provide to the members of your list. You afford you the opportunity to list the virtues of the product or service that you will be marketing well in advance of the actual marketing email and you can do it more that once.

You aren't limited to sending only one pre-sell email to your list. You can send more if you want to and you should most likely want to. Repetition works. Repetition of a sales message is a proven selling technique.

7PUBLIC SPEAKING TECHNIQUES THAT WORK

Laughter is a form of stress release. Keep in mind that your audience is under some stress during the presentation as well. You are in this together and one of the best approaches to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere is to integrate humor into the mix.

You do not have to come up with knock-out one liners or delve into a book of jokes. Humor is most effective when you harness your nervous energy during your delivery. You can either create a public speaking persona or you can be your honest self in your delivery. Either way, a lighthearted approach can work wonders.

There are some obstacles to trying too hard to be humorous. Comedy requires a masterful sense of timing. Avoid trying to create a comedy routine. Just make the presentation warm, friendly and full of energy. Remember that you can not control every aspect of the audience’s response. Laughter is not always what you seek.

The key to taking a humorous approach is to focus on making yourself and your audience comfortable. This involves smiling, eye contact (if possible) and an overall outpouring of well harnessed nervous energy. Think of being humorous as being personable.

CREATING A WIN-WIN SITUATION

When you address the audience as a warm, humorous person you help to create a win-win situation for you, your presentation and your audience. There are various elements that naturally occur to just about every public speaker that may seem to work against him. However, these very obstacles can be used in your favor as well.
