Preparation centers around the business construct, the marketing action and the follow-through. Efficiency is of the utmost importance. Preservation means that your business must preserve its value. Value embedded as hard assets, or financial instruments have long been used for value preservation. Preservation of value is re-investment. Re-investment is business building.

Perspiration is the undeniable cost of owning and running a business. Most of the fantasies about running and owning your own business fade when the self-employed realize that when they don’t work, they don’t eat. This is the hard work that nobody likes to talk about. Successful owners are diligent, disciplined and focused people. They work weekends, holidays, and virtually everyday.

As discussed earlier, you’ll have to make some changes to make your product unique. In addition to that, changing the title can give your product an extra boost. You can brand yourself into lucrative profits with private label content by doing this.

You also don’t have to pay hundreds of dollars for a ghostwriter, or pay a lot for outsourcing writers. The only exception would probably be if you’re creating software or a script. Some of the tele-seminar companies offer a service which allows you to record your tele-seminar. This is a fantastic way to generate even more profits. If your company offers this service, you would do well to take advantage of the service.

You can learn from the recording of your tele-seminar. By listening to how you conducted the call, you can gain knowledge on what you did wrong and how to correct the issue. You can also see where your strong points are when discussing the product.

You may even find that the call went very well and was really informative. This is when you want to make the recording available to the people who did not call in for the tele-seminar. You can do this by offering to replay it again in another tele-seminar or you can have it available to download from your website.

You can also offer the tele-seminar recording to any affiliates who want to sell your product. They can use it to generate their own sales. This can be helpful because they do not have to worry about writing a detailed marketing page for the product. Your recording can sell the product for them.

You may even want to have a transcript of the tele-seminar. There are some people who would prefer to read the transcript instead of listening to the phone call. So here’s what I did, first and foremost I become vigilant with my finances. I just got to a point where I was sick and tired of having bad credit, getting denied credit, and paying more because of the high interest rates I was getting due to my bad credit score.

I stopped urning for and buying things I couldn’t afford, I paid off as much debt as humanly possible, and here’s the big one… I looked at my credit report every monthy and contested the negative items and incorrect items but more on that in a moment.

It’s important here to reinforce the idea of my mindset change. I was no longer going to be a victim. What I had to do was sacrifice. Remember that, sacrifice! I was angry at myself for having bad credit, so I made a conscious decision to do something about it by whatever means necessary. This includes ditching the pay cable TV channels, downgrading my cell phone plan, and the big one, selling my beloved cars.

That’s right I sold my cars. The cars that I truly loved. A Lexus GS 430, A Hummer H2, and a Porsche Boxster. It was hard at first to swallow my pride and downgrade to an inexpensive, fuel efficient car, but this decision enabled me to do a couple key things.

Rid me of all the expense that come along with those cars like insurance, and fuel AND the proceeds from the sales allowed me to buy that cheap car and it gave me cash to pay off some other debts I had including my college loans which I thought I would be paying on till I was old and gray.

All of this of course increasing my credit score. But the key thing I mentioned above is paying close attention to your credit report and exactly what’s on it. There’s an informal stat floating around that something like 75% of Americans have errors on their credit report.

Autumn Cheesecake

1c Graham Cracker Crumbs
1/2 ts Cinnamon
16 oz Cream Cheese, Softened
2 Large Eggs
4c Thinly Slied Peeled Apples
1/2 ts Cinnamon
3 tb Sugar
1/4 c Margarine, Melted
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 ts Vanilla
1/3 c Sugar
1/4 c Chopped Pecans

Combine crumbs, sugar, cinnamon and margarine, press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 350 degrees F., 10 minutes. Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer, until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla, pour over crust. Toss apples with combined sugar and cinnamon. Spoon apple mixture over cream cheese layer; sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 350 degrees F., 1 hour and 10 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.

CRAB SALAD -2

Crab meat may be either fresh or canned, but, of course, fresh crab meat is more desirable if it can be obtained.

2 c. crab meat
1 c. diced celery
French dressing
Lettuce
Mayonnaise
1 hard-cooked egg

Chill crab meat and add the diced celery. Marinate with French dressing, and allow this mixture to stand for 1/2 hour or so before serving. Keep as cold as possible. Drain off the French dressing and heap the salad mixture on garnished salad plates or in a salad bowl garnished with lettuce. Pour mayonnaise dressing over the top, garnish with slices of hard-cooked egg, and serve.

Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings

-----FOR THE MARINADE-----

1 Onion -- chopped
2/3 cup Scallions -- chopped
2 Garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon Thyme -- crumbled
1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg -- grated
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 cup Jalapeno pepper -- minced
1 teaspoon Black pepper
6 drops Tabasco sauce
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
1/4 cup Vegetable oil

-----ADD TO MARINADE-----

18 Chicken wings -- trimmed

Marinade: In a food processor or blender, puree all ingredients except for the wings. In a large shallow dish arrange the wings in one layer and spoon the marinade over them, rubbing it in (use rubber gloves). Let them marinate, covered & chilled, turning them once, at least 1 hour, or preferably, overnight.

Arrange the wings in one layer on an oiled rack set over a foil-lined roasting pan, spoon the marinade over them & bake in the upper third of a preheated 450F oven, 30-35 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
