The quest for achieving the ideal weight always will include effective and efficient metabolism. Without it, your dietary intake will not be metabolized correctly, the nutrients will not be available to the body, and will result in excess weight being added to the body frame.

Apple cider vinegar has been used for centuries in aiding the liver to detoxify the body and to help with digesting rich, fatty and greasy foods, and for proper metabolizing of proteins, fats and minerals. If the food cannot be broken down into the absorbable form, the body cannot assimilate the required nutrients needed from the diet.

An added extra to help with this is the malic acid and tartaric acid found in apple cider vinegar, since they help to bring the acid content into balance, while killing off unwanted and unfriendly bacteria in the digestive tract.

Muscles

Lactic acid in muscles is the cause of the muscles feeling sore and stiff, but by adding some apple cider vinegar to your diet, it could assist the body to get rid of it at a faster pace, since it will help to break down the acid crystals, making it much easier to be flushed out the body.

A constant draining of mucus from the sinus cavities can both be sore and uncomfortable. It is best to cut out, or eat as little as possible, of mucus forming food - which traditionally, in most cases would be dairy products. Many sufferers of nasal congestion have experienced relief by adding apple cider vinegar to their diet.

Sore throat

A gargle made from apple cider vinegar and water could prove to be a great relief for a sore throat - be that a bacterial or virus infection. The solution is a 50/50 mixture, and it is best to spit out the solution after gargling, which should be repeated every hour. After gargling rinse the mouth with clean water to prevent the acid from eroding the enamel on your teeth.

Stiff joints

A shortage of potassium in the body may cause stiff joints. Apple cider vinegar could help in relieving this problem when ingesting it, since it is a good source of the needed nutrient. Another remedy is to relax in a warm tub, with some apple cider vinegar added to the water.

Ulcers

Apple cider vinegar is showing great promise in helping to heal alcohol-induced ulcers, since it activates the body to start its own defensive mechanism. This, together with other indicators suggests that apple cider vinegar may in the near future be drawn into the fold of alternative ulcer preventing remedies.

Tamiya wild Dagger, Tamiya Juggernaut 2 (Jug) , Tamiya Clod Buster (Clod), Tamiya Hummer (Hummer), Traxxas Stampede (Pede), HPI RS4 MT (RS4 MT), etc are some pf the popular RC models. These models are fine-tuned and tested for general use or backyard bashing.

Tamiya Wild Dagger (WD) is unstoppable on most any terrain. It is durable, lightweight, has decent speed with stock motors and gearing -about 15 mph and is very fast with modified motors. Its dual motors provide a lot of torque and independent suspension. It jumps well and climbs hills very well as its gears are very robust. The model is reasonably priced with a tough Lexan truck body and requires zero maintenance. Moreover the model is fairly easy to assemble and also contains outstanding assembly instructions.

Nevertheless, its simple steering servo setup results in some "bump-steer", although generally steering is good. Its stock dampers need to be replaced with oil-filled shocks and all parts are not stocked by all hobby stores. Its location of motors makes water running not really an option. It contains plastic bushings with limited pinion choices, but stock gearing will appeal to most users.

Tamiya Juggernaut 2 (Jug) is also 4x4 which is unstoppable on most any terrain. Its large size is impressive and gives a very realistic looking as it has a lot of scale appeal. Its motors are mounted up high so running in water is an option. Its dual motors provide a lot of torque and the model is great for off road use and attracts a lot of attention. Its chassis and drive train are very durable. It offers wide selection of pinion choices for a monster truck and also a wide selection of motors can be installed. Its chrome wheels are outstanding looking and the model contains outstanding assembly instructions. It is designed for torque and pulling and is a very popular truck so parts are usually easy to obtain.

However, it is very costly to purchase and the truck is slow with the stock 540 motors. Its stock dampers need to be replaced with oil-filled shocks. It also rolls over easily when turning at high speeds, especially on pavement. It does not have independent suspension and also does not climb hills well because of a high center of gravity. It usually rolls over. The biggest problem with it is that it is a challenge to build for some people. Even after everything its body is easily destroyed. Its center spur/pinions gear mesh somewhat tricky to set just right. Also, its transmission is somewhat noisy.

Tamiya Clod Buster (Clod) is also has same features as Tamiya Juggernaut 2. It also has many after market upgrades for monster truck racing. But it is costly to upgrade for monster truck racing. It also has similar shortcomings as Tamiya Juggernaut 2. Moreover its chassis easily breaks when jumping and the model offers limited pinion choices. Its top is somewhat heavy and is also not very realistic looking in comparison to the Juggernaut.

Tamiya Hummer (Hummer) is 1/12 scale and is not exactly a monster truck but is fairly popular in this category. It looks cool with a body is very realistic. It has oil shocks and independent suspension. It also has decent speed with the stock motors and outstanding assembly instructions. But the model rolls over easily when turning at speeds because of the high center of gravity the heavy body creates. It has limited ground clearance and plastic bushings.

Adjusting the IN or OUT points of one or more clips in the timeline is called trimming. This includes tweaking a clip’s IN or OUT points, changing the IN or OUT points between 2 clips, or moving a clip to a new location in the timeline. The Tool Palette contains special tools just for these trimming operations.

Before you perform a trim edit, you want to make sure that the "snap to edges" and "link" controls are set-up properly in the Timeline. These are the small buttons located at the top, right corner of the Timeline. If they are ON they are green, if they’re OFF they are grey.

Linked Clips: Video and audio are automatically linked when they are imported as one clip. This means that no matter how you trim video, the audio will be trimmed accordingly and vice-versa. Sometimes, you will want to edit the video and audio independently of one another. In order to do this, you can just switch the Link control to it’s OFF mode.

Snap to Edges: The snap to edges mode is on by default to assist you in finding the edge of edits easily. When the snap to edges control is on, you will find that the clip will magnetically snap to the closest edit point. Sometimes you will want to fine tune your edits not in accordance with adjacent edits. Especially in this case or when editing down to the frame level, you will want to turn "Snap to Edges" off.

Trimming with the Selection Tool: The simplest way to trim a clip on the timeline is by using the default arrow "selection tool." By select the edge of a clip on the timeline, you can roll the IN or OUT point of the clip as long as now other clip is blocking the rolling and unrolling. If other clips are in the way, you may find you’re trimming to be easier if you scoot your clips down the timeline with your "track selection" tools, or by editing with the roll tool or the slip edit tool.

Scooting Clips along the Timeline with the Track Selection Tool: The Track or Tracks selection tool is a handy way to grab all clips from "here" toward a direction, which is especially useful when trimming on the timeline without loosing all of your previous editing. Click at the point that you want to grab a collection of clips with the tool pointing the direction that you want to select. From there, move that whole group of clips over. Note* This track selection tool will often come in handy for removing gaps that you create in your timeline during trimming.

The Complete Guide To Wood Finishing Resale Rights Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

PAINTED and enameled wood trim is finished with very interesting, artistic effects by glazing it much in the same manner as walls are finished with the glazing, mottling and blending methods. The object of this treatment is sometimes to give a novelty finish in vivid color effects, but more often it is done to subdue the color of the wood trim and to make it harmonize in low tones with walls, furniture and the general furnishings of the room. The work is simple to do, yet it requires the use of good taste both in the selection of the glazing or stippling color and the strength of the pattern put on to the wood.

Streaked Glazing. This finish is done on both wood trim and plaster walls of the smooth type, as well as upon furniture. The working operation is very simple but some good taste must be exercised in selecting the colors. As a rule, but not always, the walls and wood trim are painted the same color, a light tint, mixing the paint to dry flat or semi-flat. When the ground coats of paint are dry and when the color is even all over, showing that enough coats of paint have been spread to hide the surface completely, you are ready to apply the glaze streaks. The effect to be produced is that of a very fine grained wood in which no figure or pattern is seen, only the grain.

Tinting colors are used for this glazing. Choose a color of the same kind as is used for the ground coat, but a little darker. For instance, for an ivory white or cream color ground coat, mix your glazing color with raw sienna and burnt or raw umber. Mix this color quite thin. Brush the thin glazing color on to a stretch of the surface and while it is still wet take a clean, dry, soft cotton rag, crumple it up into a wad and you are ready to begin the streak glazing of the surface. Start at the top and draw the rag down over the surface, bearing down just heavy enough to leave an even streaked color on the wood. The rag should not get wet with color at any time or it will not do good work to match the first stretch done. Change rags often enough to be using a comparatively dry one all the time.

When the surface has been uniformly streaked allow it to dry, preferably over night before it is finished with flat varnish, shellac or wax. One of these finishes is essential on wood trim to protect the color from being rubbed off.

Brush Stipple Glazing. Rather novel and interesting shading is done by stippling a light colored surface with the stippling brush, using a color which usually is the same as the color of the ground coats but a little darker. For novelty effects contrasting colors can be used, one or more, for the stipple coat.

The wood is painted or enameled as usual and when dry the stipple may be put on. If the work is to be finished with flat varnish, wax or white shellac after the stipple glaze the color used must contain the least possible amount of oil.

Mix the color quite thin and brush out a little of it on a board or newspaper. Then with a clean, dry stippling brush pick up some of the color from the board and proceed to stipple the surface. In the case of doors and other paneled surfaces the stipple color is usually run along the borders of the panels, leaving the centers untouched. Casings and other plain surfaces may be stippled all over or only on both edges, leaving the center untouched by the stipple color. No wiping is done in this work, the color is put only where you want it. When the color is dry it may be left in that condition as finished, but it is better to at least coat it with flat varnish, thin white shellac or wax in order to make it more serviceable. When the stipple glaze is done over enamel the enamel should be rubbed dull first with pumice stone and water.
