You can choose to directly route the traffic to the advertiser. This means for every PPC campaign, article submission, video submission, etc. you will be directly routing the traffic to the advertisers landing page through the link they give you. The result is you will make more profits due to the fact that the visitor is going directly to the advertisers landing page which will mean a higher amount of your traffic filling out the offer.

If you are planning on doing I recommend researching how to “cloak links” and actually registering your own domain to cloak the links so that you are in full control of the traffic. This method is much quicker and will result in slightly more immediate profits but it’s not possible for you to build an e-mail list, business, or anything that has any future profit potential. Essentially you route the traffic and then it’s gone forever. With your own landing page you can capture the traffic for future profits through a mailing list, word of mouth, and other ways.

Which way would I choose?

I’d choose creating my own landing page 9 times out of 10. The reason being is as competitive as internet marketing is getting today I prefer to constantly build a business, e-mail list, and virtual empire of websites over earning a slight bit more of immediate profits. Sure, it takes more work to build a landing page, increase your page rankings, and generate long term traffic, but anything in life takes work, right?

One of the most widely-used types of PLR is articles, which are generally used for web content - blog posts, website articles, etc. This can be a great way to avoid having to write your own content, which is particularly helpful in niches you may not be that familiar with, but it does have one big disadvantage - duplicate content.

Even if the PLR has a limited number of licenses being sold, there are going to be multiple people with the right to use it. Posting a PLR article on your site with no changes whatsoever is generally not very effective because of the duplicate content factor caused by all the other people who can also use it.

If you're the first to get it posted and indexed, you have a chance that yours will be the one that the search engines consider the original but it can be tough to always be the first.

A more effective strategy is to rewrite the PLR before you post it to your website, so it will be original content as far as the search engines are concerned.

Rewriting doesn't necessarily mean you have to rewrite the entire article, however. Making a few changes is often all it takes to get your content ranked.

You should always change the title, or headline, of the article and it's a good idea to edit the opening paragraph or add a new one of your own. A new closing paragraph is also a good idea, but the rest of the article can often be left as is without any penalties.

Another option for rewriting is more of a "curation" process than actually rewriting the article.

In other words, post the article to your website in its original form but add your own commentary throughout the article. Add an introductory paragraph with a brief overview of the article, add some comments within the article body and add a closing paragraph that sums up both the article and your comments.

As you can see it is very simple.

A red headline, a few bullet points and an opt-in. For the bullet points I will just use the gifts that are being offered. If you notice I only ask for an email address. The reason I do this is to increase the conversion rate. I don't know why but people are more willing to give up just their email address. This one little tip has been shown to instantly improve opt-ins by as much as 15% with my own testing.

One more tip to increase conversions is to make sure everything can be seen above the fold this means the visitor doesn't have to scroll down to view any of the page or opt-in.

Also, look at the other subtle things I use to increase opt-ins such as the yellow “this site is closing soon” at the bottom. We all already know that doing these things work to improve conversion and how they work so I won't get into that, I just want to point out that it won't hurt to add a little scarcity, but don't overdo it, people aren't idiots.

Arrows also help to draw the eye to the opt-in box. So if you can try to utilize them.

Another tip I learned recently, remove the “We will not share your info” part. This gives the person a negative view. It's like telling a pretty girl “If you will go out on a date with me I promise not to cuss, hit, or yell at you.” My testing showed that simply removing this one line increased conversions by 3%.
