Wedding Planning On A Budget Resale Rights Ebook

When it comes to saving money on your wedding invitations, there are very simple options available that will save you hundreds of dollars in costs.

To start, you need to spend some time researching the different options from local stationary stores, as well as investigating online wedding shops where you can purchase invitations from wholesalers at cost.

Another great option is to simply create them yourself, with online websites featuring downloadable templates that you can type in and print out, including envelopes and pre-printed labels.

While engraved wedding invitations are absolutely stunning, they will take a lot from your budget, unnecessarily. Invitations are often thrown in the trash after the guest RSVP’s, remember, and so it doesn’t make a lot of sense to spend a large portion of your budget on them.

Get creative! If you are a crafty person, you could purchase scrapbook elements from your local craft store and offer hand-created, personalized scrapbook style invitations.

This is a great way to show your creative side while injecting your own personality and style, plus you’ll save a ton of money in the process.

You should also stick with standard size invitations, to save on postage costs and rather than include a return envelope with a stamp, set up a free email account exclusively for people to respond to, indicating whether they can attend or not.

This is an easy to save a couple of hundred dollars on postage costs while staying organized with a guest list that you can manage directly in your email.

Okay I’m not a fan of this strategy in MOST cases but I’m going to share it with you anyway because it IS viable and I HAVE used it before with much success. I’m just not a fan of the way the big launches have become a total tug of war lately.

You know what I’m talking about? The high dollar launches with huge bonuses that make you really confused about who to buy from. Do you want a 7 week phone interview with guru A or a complete website set-up with training by guru B?

I guess I don’t mind the strategy itself – I’m just tired of seeing it on every big launch. I’d like to see a cash back bonus LOL – Wouldn’t that be nice? I love seeing gurus who say their bonus is worth “$1,997” – okay, so how about Fedexing me a cashier’s check back for that amount if I buy through your link?

Not gonna happen.

But back to the strategy. I once promoted a product as a review because a guy contacted me and let me see a copy of his product. It was good, but it lacked my own point of view. So I created a simple, 4-page bonus report that covered what his product didn’t share.

It had an introduction into the report’s purpose and then it gave three samples with commentary below each one. That was it. Nothing shiny and expensive. Just letting my customers know I had their backs – I was watching out to ensure they got a compete product. Here’s what not to do.

Don’t tell them you have a bonus for those who buy through your link and then give the bonus away to your list for free.

Don’t gather 25 PLR bonuses just to say you have a bonus. I once helped a big guru turn a failing site around because I told him the problem – he had an “okay eBook” with 25 PLR bonuses.

I spiffed up his product and wrote three 5-page ORIGINAL bonus reports to go with it. His sales soared and his refunds became virtually non-existent.

Backlinking takes time, the best way to get people to read your article is to have quality information that they then want to publish or send to other people. Quality is the key and quality will bring instant results.

Build A Forum Buzz

I recently started a one time fee membership site on the PS3 and Xbox 360 console game Call Of Duty, Modern Warfare 2 which showed people simple ways to get to the top of the multiplayer stats. I gave them information on the best places to stalk their prey on each map, the best combo's and perks to use, how to shoot more accurately, how to go on kill streaks, all that sort of nerdy stuff. If you want to be a great multiplayer COD MW player, my site is where to be.

Forums are a hot bed of potential customers, so I found a forum on this game and I gave away a link on my site to some really great information, for free. I gave away a complete map of a level and the best places to get kills in the game, which is the point of the game.

The content was great, there were no strings attached, except at the end of the page was a link to my membership site salesletter offering a free trial to my membership site for 3 days and then they would be charged the full amount after that period.

This worked really really well. We had a lot of people drop out before being charged, but that was to be expected. We did however get 48 paying members, which is great. That worked out to be over $1000 just from a free forum post in under a week.

What you want to do is find forums on your niche topic and give away some really great information. Really hard hitting stuff. Don't try and sell them, let the content do that. You can either do that in the forum itself and if the forum allows, have a signature in your post, or simply post a link to your site with free information.

Blatant advertising will most likely get your post removed and probably you as well, but if you give great information, and don't ask for anything, you will get back in return. Give good information and gently let them know theres more great stuff inside your membership site.

Each forum is different, you may want to browse and read some posts before doing this. You may want to make a few posts yourself before doing this as well. Answer a few questions, become a part of the forum, but rarely does giving away good free information get you into trouble.

So the next step is to give away some really great information in a busy forum related to your niche. I talk about finding niche forums in week #4 of the 30 day flopping course I believe.

Video Marketing

This is one of my favorite ways to get traffic in niche markets. It works really well with forums as well. Creating videos with software like Camtasia and uploading it to YouTube.

Every 3 days, submit a video to YouTube.com. A simple Camtasia/presentation style video on a topic in your niche. So that will be 10 videos total we submit. Videos are a great way to get traffic to your site. Don't worry if you have a strong accent, I have a very thick Canadian accent and it does not matter at all.

So for instance, if your niche is World Of Warcraft, you could do a simple powerpoint presentation for 5 minutes on some really good hot tips on WOW. 1 or 2 tips per video. Basically like an article but spoken instead. You could simply write an article and read it as well and at the end, tell them that if they want more tips, they should go to your website.

I prefer for it to be a bit more fluid, but you could read an article you've had written already straight into a microphone with Camtasia and there is your video.

That video should take no more then 30 minutes to create and upload. You can get a free 30 day trial of Camtasia and the documentation on how to use it is massive, so if you have troubles its all there for you, but it's so easy to use, you just need a microphone and Camtasia and away you go.

I find a really great way to get traffic to my videos is forum marketing. Someone may ask a question in a forum and I have a video I created on that topic, I will post a link to my video and this video really gives them great information and at the end of the video, there is a link to my website.

No hard selling again, just good content that sells itself. You could simply find a really popular post on a forum in your niche, use that post as inspiration to create a video on that topic and answer any questions people have and give away good information and then post a link. This is a sure fire way to start seeing traffic quickly.

These are all very simple methods, but it really does not need to be complicated.

JV's

If you are using Clickbank to accept payments and you should be, then you also have the ability to setup an affiliate program as well. If you have a monthly billing membership site, you should really setup this option. Affiliates are a great way to start making sales, automated.

You want to get a few affiliates on board making sales as this shows your product is popular and has incoming traffic from other peoples work, which is a good selling point when you go to sell it.

You want to give your affiliates from about 60% to 75% of the commission per sale. That sounds high but that's the standard rate these days and I would not go any lower then that if you want to get affiliates on board. Serious affiliates won't promote your product for much less then that.

Step #4 - Recording Your Presentation

First things first, I won't be going into great detail on how to setup Camtasia or Audacity. Why? Because their websites offer so much documentation on how to setup and use their products, I would only be repeating what they said, but not as well.

These two programs are very easy to use.

Now, if you are using just plain audio for your product, you won't have to worry about what your PowerPoint presentation looks like, but make sure you have one. Trying to do this without the prompts is too hard. Still do the same method I taught in step #3.

For audio users, this will still be the same process; you just won't be recording your screen. I personally believe, for beginners, audio is the best way to go for you. Camtasia is great and video adds more value, but audio is simple and easy and requires little to no technical understanding.

With Audacity, you press record, speak, stop the recording then export that file to mp3 and you are done. With Camtasia users, we record the area of the PowerPoint presentation on the screen, flipping through the slides as we go through, we then save that recording as a SWF file (all explained inside of Camtasia) for Internet viewing.

We then export that file as an MP3 as well. (Don't worry; I will explain all of this shortly). I know it's sounding technical, but really it is not. Camtasia walks you through all the steps and they have a hold you by the hand tutorial and help guide and easy to follow prompts that help you through the whole process.

One thing I forgot to talk about when talking about PowerPoint presentations is don't talk about yourself. Simply introduce your product and website in the first video and then move onto the content.

Why? Well when the new buyer of this business takes over, he or she will want it not to have your name all over the video. Don't make this product about you, make it about your subject topic.

You should always include an introduction video as your first video, but it should only talk about what you are covering in the video series. Not about you or your life story.

So once you have your PowerPoint presentations ready to go, it's time to start recording. If you are using Camtasia, you will need to make sure you are recording only your PowerPoint slide so people can see you going through them. Camtasia allows you to select the exact screen size (or rectangular area) that you want people to see. You can record the whole screen or just the text in your presentation, which is what you want to do.

You want each video to go for around 6 to 10 minutes depending on how many videos you will be doing. With my 10 chapter ebook, I will be aiming to make each video last for around 6 or 7 minutes depending on how many slides I have and how big each chapter turned out to be.

So for instance, if after I write out my presentation for chapter 2, I see that it's not really enough information to talk on for 6 minutes, I will combine it with chapter 3 and make that one video and make up the time on a larger chapter. Chapter 8 may be huge, so I might need 10 minutes to cover that.

Just make sure you have at least 60 minutes of audio/video after you are finished recording it all.

Now when it comes down to talking and being recorded, don't stress! Talk slowly and if you stumble over your words, or make a slight mistake, it does not matter. It does not need to be mistake free. Feel free to pause anytime. Take your time. The worst thing to do is rush. Just speak in a normal manner.

Talk about each and every one of the bullet points you have written down as these are they key points in your content. Basically what we are doing is turning their words into your own to make it unique. While the content is based around the same material as the PLR ebook, it's now going to be brand new. This is much easier then trying to rewrite a PLR from scratch.

No information is really “new” anymore. Ghost-writers use other peoples information as research and that's all we are doing here. We are using the PLR ebook as the research for our own information product. The only difference here between us and ghost-writers is that we are turning this content into video/audio instead of just text.

So start recording and just keep practicing. Like I said at the start of this course, at first it might take you a little longer, but after a few goes at it, you will be churning out these recordings at a super fast rate and will never go back to product creation any other way. (Other than hiring ghostwriters of course).

Once you finish one recording, save it and click on produce my video in a shareable format and make it a web ready file. (Just follow the prompts after you stop recording). Once you follow all the prompts, your files will be saved wherever you said for them to be saved. You will have a master file and a series of smaller files that are used to watch the videos online. (Both will be given to the new buyer, but I will get into that in day #5 as we package the product for sale). All you need to know for now is that is what is created.

You need to do that after each video. Now, we want to make mp3's of that video we just created. So go back to the main Camtasia screen and click on File up the top. A little drop down prompt will display. Click on recent recordings and click on the last video you did.

That will load the master file of the last video you recorded. Now click on File again and click on the Save Audio tab. Then click save audio as Mp3 and it will save the audio from that video as an mp3!

"But It's Usually the same old story: You Don't Have A Lot Of Time... Do You?"

Let's be honest.

This is probably not the first sales letter you've read. I already know you are sold on the dreams of achieving your own financial independence, work whenever you want and whatever you want, and never have to worry about lack of money. Ever.

Chapter 6: Driving Traffic To Your Blogs

What Is Social Bookmarking

The best way to get a good grip on social bookmarking is to start with the most basic of questions. Why do people use the Internet? If you are like many online marketers, you probably haven't given that a second thought for years, but considering that question is the springboard to understanding social bookmarking. People use the Internet to obtain information. They are looking for something when they get online.

They may be looking for the takeout menu from their local Chinese restaurant. They might be trying to find helpful hints on how to fix their electric garage door opener. They might want a movie or book review. A student might be trying to find out the date of birth for Ralph Waldo Emerson. A new Internet marketer could be looking for the perfect business opportunity.

All of them want something. They want information. Even when people are just surfing for the sake of undirected entertainment, are looking for interesting information.

Now, ask yourself another easy question. How do they get that information? Your instinctive answer might be "a search engine." In many cases, you'd be right. Search engines are still the most popular way of finding information online.

However, if you were asked the same question ten years ago, you may have said "a directory." That would have been a good answer once upon a time, but it isn't anymore. What happened? Why was there a change? More importantly, what will the answer to that question be in the future?

A disorganized, but organic, series of links here and there wasn't a good means of categorizing information, so some enterprising people started to build directories. They wanted to make it easier to connect users with information. It seemed like a potentially workable solution, but before too long it became clear that applying an old organization model to the new Internet wasn't going to cut it. Human bias, human error and the sheer growth of the net rendered most directories unsatisfactory. Meanwhile, developers started working on an automated means of discovering and cataloguing information.

Their pre-programmed "robots" started scouring the web, finding information, and reporting it back to a master database. Eventually, a simple interface would be attached to the mechanism, and we'd have search engines as an alternative to directories.

It was a seemingly perfect solution. It was objective, comprehensive and automated. Making the search engine results meaningful required the creation of complicated algorithms to help users identify authoritative and important sites, but it sure beat relying on questionable directories as a means of finding information. The web, however, continued to grow. That growth, of course, led to increased commercialization. In turn, webmasters began to have a very strong monetary motive for finding out how to climb to the top of the search engine results.

Search engines like meta-tags? Stuff them with keywords. Search engines reward inbound links? Start buying, trading and creating links. Search engines like content? Let's create content heavy sites, regardless of the real value of the material. Redirects, cloaking, scraping, hidden text and a variety of other strategies have had varying levels of popularity at different times, too. Some are still used today.

However, they aren't used to make search engine results better for the user. They are used to create results that benefit the webmaster. The webmaster wants the traffic in hopes of converting visitors into buyers, after all.

This constant game of cat and mouse between webmasters and search engine programmers might be a lot of fun to watch from a distance, but it can be a real aggravation to end users. Many of them, looking for some more reliable and less commercially "polluted" means of finding the information they want are moving away from search engine reliance and are spending time with social bookmarking.

That's right. Social bookmarking is the natural progression of the most basic justification for the Internet--information acquisition.

Moreover, unless you think Google will somehow outsmart every genius SEO specialist (white hat or black) in the very near future, you better be prepared to make social bookmarking work for you.

So, What Are Social Bookmarking Sites?

You may be more familiar with the names of some of the already-hot social bookmarking sites than you are the actual mechanics of the phenomena. Stripped down to its core, social bookmarking is a means by which a group can categorize and locate information based on its own evolving taxonomy. In other words, it's very collaborative and a little unstructured.

Users "tag" content and the content is "bookmarked" for all to see based on those tags. That kind of information categorization is sometimes referred to as "folksonomy," a hybrid word referring to regular "folks" and "taxonomy," a method of organization.

The whole process is incredibly democratic. Whereas the search engines use top-down approach to sorting and filing data (the program algorithm shows people what it "thinks"), social bookmarking is a bottom-up, grassroots system wherein users tell other users what they think and something of a consensus eventually forms.

To those new to the idea, that may sound like information organization anarchy. In a way, it is rather chaotic. That's its greatest pitfall, in fact.

However, social bookmarking systems actually perform quite well over time. Organizational patterns naturally develop and the constant human editorial "touch" creates a level of certainty and is grounded in user expectations.

Social bookmarking works as a method of organizing, and providing access to, information. Remember, in the end, that's what it's all about. It provides users with a way to see through the search engine games and to avoid individual biases that wither as part of a greater collective whole emerges.

Its popularity, however, isn't just in its ability to make information retrieval easier. There is also an almost subconscious attraction to the community participation and the very human nature of the entire process. Although people use social bookmarking as a way of finding what they want, they also develop an interest and attachment to the process that makes them less likely to utilize other methods.

Click the "Play" Button Above To Watch An Important Video From John

Dear Fellow Online Marketer,

A lot of folks will try to sell you on getting more followers with Twitter.

More followers, they say, equals a bigger list.

But does it really?

See, I have a different approach. I don't care about the number of followers I have. I care about the targeted traffic I receive from Twitter.

Targeted traffic = sales, and I have the stats to prove it.

Sure, I could get Britney Spears'followers, but will they convert to customers?

Put another way: A few hundred followers who are passionate about my niche are light years better than hundreds of thousands who could care less.

I could probably get thousands of Britney Spears' followers to follow me, but what will that get me? Do you think they're going to want to network with me or visit my blog or buy my products and services?

Probably not.

This is a case where quality definitely trumps quantity.

And where you choose to focus your efforts makes all the difference.

Why Twitter? Well, it just happens to be a very effective way of generated pre-qualified free website traffic. If you do it correctly.

In fact, I made just a few changes to my Twitter account and my blog less than a month ago, and look what's happened since:

For a long time, I hovered around the same number of followers. That's because I didn't do anything to change that.
