If you can help it, don’t limit your income sources to the internet. Even though there are millions of blogs online there are still millions of people who do not have blogs, or any type of internet presence. Many of these people would appreciate and benefit from sponsoring your site. Quite a few local companies would be willing to pay a tidy sum to have their business mentioned, or featured, on a page within your blog.

I run a small blog devoted to tattoos and body arts. Many small tattoo shops and artists who can not afford, or don’t want to manage, their own web presence have paid to have their companies advertised on my tattoo blog. These advertisements are usually in the form of a page within my blog that describes the company in detail and includes contact information (address, phone number, ect.).

Another blog of mine, dedicated to wine making and hosting wine parties, is sponsored by several individuals who also host, and throw, wine tasting parties. These people are not interested in maintaining a permanent web presence and are content to piggy back on my blog. Each time they host an event I am paid to blog about the event and I also have an entire page of my site dedicated to providing the contact information for those that are selling wine making books or materials and who host parties.

Opportunities like this are usually available in your area, it is just a matter of looking for, and making, the right connections. Things are easier if you have a niche site and steady traffic that can benefit a business owner. These sponsors can often be found by word of mouth or through placing ads in your local newspaper. Some of my best sponsors have been found through ads in the newspaper and even through direct advertising campaigns.

These campaigns are pretty small and are focused on those businesses I know do not have a web site and who would benefit from my traffic. Sending out a simple flyer with information about my site, traffic stats, prices, and how they would benefit by advertising online often has good results. Not only was I able to earn income from companies willing to advertise, or at least exchange links, with me but every now and then I was able to generate a local media buzz for my blog.

Being able to show other advertisers that your blog has attracted local press and interest can increase your ways to earn revenue. If you are having advertisers pay you directly to advertise on your blog site showing a review will help to justify your fees. It will also help prove your credibility to clients if you are selling a product or service of any kind.

When you take a class to learn Italian, you will review definite articles, direct object pronouns, and preposition. Your instructor will probably show you how to pronounce Italian words and there will probably be an Italian audio lab. You will come to a point where you will want to learn some shortcuts and quick pointers, which will give your lessons more power. Here are some things they don’t teach in language lessons that will improve your Italian.

In Italian basically it is “What you see is what you hear”. When you see an Italian speaking native open his mouth wide, it isn’t always to shout as much as it is to proper pronounce the big, round vowels. As an example, if you want to pronounce the letter “a”, you open your mouth wide and say “ahhhhh”.

By remembering the phrase what you see is what you hear you will have no trouble spelling and pronouncing the Italian words. Because Italian is a phonetic language most words are pronounced just as they are written.

Many of the Italian words look like English words and have similar meanings. This makes learning Italian a little easier. There are only minor differences in the spelling between the English and the Italian words called cognates. They are called cognates because of their similarities. In Italian they are called parole simili. Some of the cognates are stazione or station, museo or museum, professore or professor, and intelligente or intelligent.

There are other words in Italian, which are similar to English words, but have a different meaning. These words are known as false cognates or falsi amici. For example parente means relative, not parent, and libreria means bookstore, not library.

Because the endings of conjugated verb forms indicate person and number, Italian subject pronouns can be left out unless they are needed to clarify, when they have been modified by the word “also” or “anche”, or when there is an emphasis or a contrast needed. If you are starting a first-person comment with “io”, such as “I study”, or “I walk”, it sounds as though you are constantly calling attention to yourself, so in most cases the “io” is left off the comment.

Remember to slow down. Being fast only counts in a car race; fast does not make you fluent in the language and easily understood. When many of us speak in English, we are notorious for slurring our words together. When speaking in Italian it is better to allow the Italian vowels and consonants to maintain their particular, unchanging sound. Just relax and take a deep breathe so that you can enjoy the language at a leisurely pace.

When it comes to adjectives, you can only say molto bene so many times before you start becoming bored with yourself. There are times when Italian adjectives, which are the most expressive words, get short-changed because of the usual emphasis on the nouns and the verbs. You can learn alternative ways to express yourself by including the use of prefixes, such as stra and suffixes, such as ino, etto, ello, and accio. You will quickly increase your vocabulary by doing so.

It’s not going to matter how much education you’ve had. If you don’t have the skills and the expertise behind you, then you can forget about attracting clients. Creating brochures is really for the client’s benefit. They need to know what your massage therapy services are about. They need to know if they can feel trusted coming to you for massage therapy.

Another way to market your business is to offer complimentary massages. Let people try them out and see how they like them. Inquire with the human resources department at some of the office buildings that have companies as tenants. Pass out your business card and invite them to come to your facility. You can offer them a percentage off on services for their first visit.

You may or may not get a lot of clientele on the first round, but even if you get one it’s a start. You have to work your way up towards a lucrative business as a massage therapist. Besides, if the person that took you up on you offer enjoyed the full massage treatment, then that person will pass the word on to other people.

Others will know about your services and the good treatment she received from you. Within a matter of months, you’ll have so many clients that you’ll have to hire additional help.

The key to keeping your massage therapy business afloat is to get the client’s trust. If they don’t trust you, they won’t be back. Then there are some who just for whatever reason won’t come back anyway.

You have to continue to work at it and do what you can in order to have a successful and lucrative business. Don’t look for the trappings of fast money. You’re always going to have to market in order to keep your business up and running. Eventually you will find those that enjoy massage therapy and will come back time and time again.

When you get those clients that continue to come back, since they like the service, they will refer you to others. They’ll tell everyone that they know about your services. This is the type of client you should be rewarding every now and then with free or 50% of massages. That person or persons will be loyal clients for life.
