There is a dizzying array of things that you can eat these days. Truly, a trip to the grocery store can be an adventure. Everywhere you turn, there’s yet another food promising you healthy this or weight loss that.

So – how do you try to get people to buy from you and not your competitor?

Offer bonuses

One of the most popular ways of persuading people to buy from you is offering a unique bonus to go with the product when people buy it through your affiliate link.

It’s easy to see why this can be so effective. If you think about it from your customers perspective, who are you going to buy from if you are given the choice – the person offering a quality bonus product or the man who is offering nothing?

You’re going to go with the person offering the bonus of course because you’re getting more for your money.

Now there are a couple of important points here. First of all your bonus must be highly related to the main product. You’ve got to appeal to the same people as those who are drawn to the main product in the first place.

The other point of course is that your bonus must be valuable and of high quality. The higher the perceived value of the bonus, the more attractive your offer will be.

That’s pretty obvious of course but you’d be surprised at how many people cobble together a couple of crappy ebooks and promote it as a ‘top quality bonus.’

So what can you offer as a bonus?

Well it could be one of many things and it’s going to vary a lot depending on the product it’s being partnered with. If you’re promoting an information product, a good bonus might be an interview with the product creator or a short report or series of videos that go into greater depth about something covered in the main product.

Another good idea for a bonus might be personal coaching or group coaching.

Your bonus can of course be something you have created yourself or a product that you have the rights to give away.

If you’re creating a unique bonus (and these tend to be the most effective) then you need to carefully weigh up how much time and cost it is going to take to make the bonus v. the potential increase in sales when compared with not offering a bonus.

If you’ve hung out on video sharing sites like YouTube, you’ve probably seen people comment on videos about their own channels.

For example, they will comment on someone else’s video and say “This is great! I actually just posted a very similar video on my channel- go check it out.”

Even though this seems silly, IT WORKS.

Because you are participating in a discussion with people already watching that kind of video, you can get a TON of traffic to your channel this way.

And since you have a channel (and not sure a bunch of unrelated videos unattached to each other), they may end up watching all of your videos in a very short period of time.

The more videos you have, the longer you’ll keep people on your channel. The longer they stay, the more they’ll like and trust you. The more they like and trust you, the greater the chances that they’ll come to your website!

Just like email marketing, the key to video marketing is to build relationships. Having a quality channel with quality videos is the best way to do that.

Also, make sure that you interact with your visitors. When they leave comments, reply to them! You don’t have to reply to every single one, but be a part of the discussion.

Remember there that you’re trying to build a brand. Don’t just put together a few low quality videos. Instead, put together good, helpful stuff and really try to help the people in your niche. Only then will you start to see the money flow into your bank account like clockwork.

The uptake of this method should be one of patience. Taking everything at once is not advisable, although everything listed is considered harmless it is Impossible to know how any one person will react to any particular supplement or the ACV.

The next tactic I want to talk about is using viral PDF reports.

So let's say you write a little report that can be 2 to 5 pages long, as long as it's rock solid content; it's going to be for a free report anyway, and you create a PDF report out of it. Well, inside the PDF report, you want to say that this is free to distribute.

Also inside of your PDF report, you want to have a link at the end that leads to your squeeze page or an entire ad that leads to your squeeze page.

What I've found in the past is that other people started using my reports to build their lists with.

So they would actually give my I reports away to their squeeze pages and I would generate those subscribers under my list, the ones who actually read the report and then clicked thru at the end.

The ones who read the reports and clicked through to the end and discovered you that way, end up being some of the highest quality leads you'll get because they've just read one of your reports, and they clicked through at the end to get your freebie, and you've got them on your list.

If you're not sure how to do this, you can go to OpenOffice online.

You can just type into Google, "OpenOffice" and download OpenOffice Writer.

You're going to open up OpenOffice Writer and write your report.

It's kind of like Microsoft Word.

Then you're going to click "File" and export as a PDF.

Once you do that, you have a PDF that you can give away, and you have clickable links inside the PDF and that will become your viral report.

It's a little different than rebrandable reports.

If you have your own affiliate program, you can give affiliates a way to give cool content to their list and to promote you at the same time by offering a viral brandable rewritable report.

This is a little bit different, a little more simplistic, and if you give enough of these reports away that are viral reports, you may see them circulating all over the place and generating leads from all over the internet.
