From this point on, I am going to assume that you (or members of your family) are not people who have naturally high sun tolerance and that you therefore need to take additional precautions before going out in the sun, and that you also need to know what to do if a case of sunburn calls for effective natural treatment.

As suggested previously, the most effective way of avoiding sun damaged skin is to stay out of the sun. However, this does not necessarily mean that you have to stay indoors every time the sun comes out, because there are other sensible precautions that you can take even though you have ventured outside.

For example, knowing that there are times of the day when the intensity of the ultraviolet radiation from the sun is at its highest, you should always seek shade of some description at these times. If you are on the beach with your family (or even if you are on your own), make sure that you have a clear idea of places where you can find shade at the hottest times of the day or if there is nowhere that offers natural shape, take a beach umbrella with you or hire one if it is possible to do so.

Initially, you can enjoy the warmth of the sun without exposing yourself to the direct ultraviolet radiation that causes skin damage. This allows you to get the positive benefits of being out in the fresh air (especially if you are bathed by a gentle sea breeze) without exposing yourself to the unnecessary risk of suffering sunburn from overexposure to UVA and UVB rays.

The problem with this scenario is that whilst for an adult who understands the danger of overexposure to the sun, it is probably no great hardship to be sitting under a beach umbrella or at a covered beach bar sipping an ice cold drink, it is might it be far more difficult to convince youngsters and children of the benefits of staying in the shade.

When you are moving on your path of progress, you will have hits as well as misses. There will be things you will do better that you expected and there will be things that you will flounder at. When you achieve something, however trivial it might be, make sure to take some time out and celebrate it. It does not need to be a huge celebration, but you must do something to underline the fact that you achieved something. You might just want to hang out with your friends and party or maybe take a break and go on a holiday that has been long overdue. But, celebrating is must.

Why is that so important? For one, when you are celebrating something, you are creating a memory. You will remember the success better because you partied after that. You will etch it into your subconscious and conscious mind. And when you remember your success in a better way, you will remember that you were capable of achieving that. This success gets written in indelible ink in your list of accomplishments – it adds to your self-belief.

But if you don’t party and let the achievement pass you by without a whimper, you are likely to forget about it soon. It won’t amount to much either because there’s no happy association that you have created for it.

It is highly important to involve people in your celebrations. People around us reinforce our feelings. If you party with friends or family, these people understand the magnitude of your accomplishment too. Chances are that their zest and zeal for celebrating your success will rub off on you and make it linger. There will also be a lot of talk about your achievement and many of these things will remain with you forever.

If you are making a practical belief about yourself, that belief should not exaggerate your weaknesses nor should it downplay your achievements. For that reason, it becomes very important for you to be happy and make others happy with your achievements.

Videos are great for traffic – and they are becoming ever more effective by the day.

Why not turn your articles into videos?

When you think about it, quite a few people either don't like reading or they just prefer to watch and listen to a video. So turning your articles into video form gives you access to these people.

The easiest way to do this is by doing a Powerpoint presentation and recording it with software such as Camtasia (which is available on a free trial.)

All you have to do is pop on your headset and read your article aloud (it helps if you can somehow make it sound like you?re not reading from the page – quite easy with a bit of practice.)

If you?re camera shy then don't worry because you don't even need to show your face, or alternatively you could get someone else to do it.

If it helps you can put in screenshots to aid and visually enhance what you're saying. This is especially useful if it's something technical where it helps to show images or diagrams to get the message across clearly.

Once you have created your video you should submit it to as many video sites and video directories as you can. Try the usual suspects first - YouTube.com or Tubemogul - where you can submit your video to various different sites for free (and obviously these sites get TONS of traffic – the potential is absolutely huge!)

Doing this alone will create traffic for you, but with certain sites, you can dramatically up the amount of views the video gets by adding video responses to other peoples videos which you come across and find useful. YouTube is one such site, so let's go through what you do to add video responses on YouTube.

Firstly submit your video, then find another video that relates to yours and has lots of views to it. Once you've found a related video you like, look below it for a section called “Video Responses” and on the right hand side of this will be a link that says “Post a Video Response”.

Click this link and you will go to a page where you can post your response. In the middle of this page is a link that reads “Choose a Video.” From here choose the video and click on “Respond With This Video”.

There are two paths you can choose before we start. You can hope that you picked a good niche and just begin on the next page. Or you can spend a few dollars now on a few domain names and do some proper testing.

I personally like to pick two or three niches and buy a few domain names. I will then spend about two weeks and write a lot of articles (3 articles,per product, each day). I will submit those articles to Ezine and various other article directories. The domain names I bought, I will have them redirect to the affiliate page of the product that I am promoting. It only cost me about $30.00 and it is a good way to see if the product is going to get you sales or not. I want to do that before I spend the next 30 days building web pages.

Some will disagree with me and say that if you picked a product with a high enough gravity, you already know it converts. Therefore, the more pages you can get out there with your affiliate link on it the better chance you have of making sales. It's up to you which way you want to go.

My opinion is that doing a lot of work and seeing no results is a big reason why many people get fed up with Internet marketing and quit. They spend days and months building pages to a product and get no results. Well maybe they just picked a product that did not convert! If you do proper testing, you won' t have this frustration.

After you have decided which path you want to take to begin, you need to spend the rest of the day learning everything you can about your niche.

Go to Ezine Articles and read every article you can that people have written about your niche. Follow the links in the resource boxes and see what their landing pages look like.

Are the resource boxes going to a website, blog, Hub Page, Squidoo Lens or WordPress page? Most people will have two links in their resource box so make sure you check them both to see where they are going. Read their landing pages and see how they are worded. Would they make you want to click on the links? Ask yourself "Why" or "Why not".

Go to Squidoo, WordPress, Hubpages and Blogger and look at how the top ranking pages look. What type of pictures do they have on them? Look at their titles. Where are their links? Do they have banner ads, and what are they doing that caught YOUR eye?

As you have seen, when you want to promote a particular Clickbank product, you do so by using an encrypted hoplink that you create on the site.

As I suggested earlier, the encrypted links that Clickbank generate are pretty ugly. However, I would suggest that the way most affiliates use these hoplinks is even uglier still!

The basic concept of Clickbank product marketing is that armed with your unique affiliate link, you use that link to send targeted visitors to the original product sales letter hosted by Clickbank. If that sales letter does its job efficiently, it generates some sales and therefore you can expect commission checks to start arriving in the post.

This is all well and good because getting these checks in the post is the reason that you are promoting Clickbank products, right? Hence, if you send visitors to the sales letter and generate sales, that would appear to be your job done.

This is exactly the principle that most affiliate marketers follow and the way they run their business. They have a unique affiliate link (shortened or ‘naked’) which they use in promotional materials to send traffic to the product sales letter page. When this action generates a sale, they get paid a commission.

However, the critical point that they miss by doing this is that at this point, the story as far as that particular customer is concerned is finished from their point of view. The customer has bought and they have received sales commission but now they have to find yet another prospect for that particular product, because that customer has just removed themselves from the affiliates personal business by making a purchase.
