Color Attracts MRR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

It may seem surprising to learn that colors do indeed have a psychological effect on the customer and product. This can be better understood by taking an example into consideration.

An average American male of age thirty, and who enjoyed baseball in his childhood so much that most of the memorable times of his childhood are connected to his participation in his high school’s baseball team.

With this attachment to the varsity team, he is sure to have an affinity with the color of the team. Supposing the color of the team was red, and then he will definitely have a liking for red, and so on. Henceforth, whenever he sees red, he sort of remembers the memorable times he had spent in his varsity team as a member of the team; and thus will choose red for most color schemes.

Consequently, there may be cases of people dreading some colors. Supposing a customer was the victim of an accident. Although the wounds of the accident may have healed, the vision of the color of the van or car that had hit the customer will remain vivid in the eyes of the customer.

So if the vehicle was a blue vehicle, whenever the customer saw anything blue in color, unpleasant memories of the accident tend to return to the customer. With all this, it can be seen that many colors are usually attributed to some psychological stimulus that may have affected the customer a few years or decades ago. These colors will remain in the minds of the visitor for a long time to come.

Similarly, there will be many colors that one will either hate or love because of some psychological stimulus that may have affected everyday life some years ago. There are also many colors that have some subconscious reference on one’s collective psyche that in turn helps in effectively communicating the important aspects of a product.

For example, the colors red and blue are usually used to show hot and cold for lots of products. This may seem like common sense, but in reality, the hottest of fires glow blue, and sometimes, sever cold also leads to burns!

However, people have usually grown with this association of red for hot and blue for cold in their minds, which is rather difficult to change. And this is why it can be said that the usage of color association for communicating some aspects of products can be influential on potential customers.

Here, we are using the font-size 62.5%, remember from earlier when we covered the font-size property, the percentage is based up line height. So the default font size will be 62.5% of whatever the line size is. So if we define different line heights in various places throughout our page and don't add a new define for the font size in those particular place, it will use the default 62.5%

Ok, I said earlier that we would go over what “em” is and since it's being used here, I guess this is as good a time as any. When using px to set font sizes, line heights, etc.. you are setting an exact number for that font or line height, etc.. which means that how it is viewed is dependent upon the viewers screen resolution. A 12px font will look differently on a 600x800 screen that it does a 1024x780 screen.

The em setting is basically a scalable size and how it is displayed is calculated based on the font-size property of the parent element.

What the body selector did above is set the default text size to be about 10px. 1 normal em is about 12px. So with this base established, you can use “em” instead of px to allow for scaling. Which means that your page can look the way you designed it on any resolution screen.

Just remember that the “em” calculates from whatever the parent size is. To explain, let's say we've kept our 1 em at 12px because we didn't scale it down by setting the 62.5% like we did in the wordpress css body css above.

So if we were to use 1.2em to define our paragraph text size, this would be multiplied by our default 12px for a slightly larger font, however if we had set our paragraph to 62.55% and then were working within a paragraph and set some text to be 1.2em, it would calculate on our already reduced 62.55% for a figure slightly larger than the 10px but less than 12px.

There really was no simple way to explain that. I hope you didn't get thrown off there, the main thing to remember is that you can always back your style.css file up and make changes until you get the look you want. They key is to not be afraid of it.

The cool thing is that we can also use the em to scale our images, so the whole page is able to expand and contract as needed to fit in the surfers screen, looking exactly as we intended it to look.

Testing if this works is what you should then do. After 3-5 days google the keyword and check if your blog post is ranked on page one... or number one. If it is you should be making money...

If still not ranked, wait a 1-2 days more... if still nothing then find another keyword... check out the websites on the 1st page.

Make sure they are not all big strong companies with websites over pagerank 5.

I changed my keyword three times but now the blog post ranks for more than one keyword on 1st page in Google. I keep earning money without doing anything.

As time passes it gets better, people start commenting, pagerank of blog increases... so stick with it.

You got this special report for free. Just put in this technique once... test it... and keep it... Do not delete it! Keep it there, keep testing new keywords... and there is no need to change keyword every day. Maybe the keyword requires more than 5 days for the blog post to get on 1st page.

You can also easily promote another product... by putting the technique again on the same blog... I have about 4 blog post like these... 2 keep making money. One rarely does... but if I tweak them a bit, which I rarely do... like changing the keywords then I make money from them too.

Keyword Research Bible Mrr Ebook

So far, we have looked at how you go about building a monetized web site from a standing start, a position where all you know is that you want to start earning money online.

However, maybe you are in the position of already knowing exactly what the topic of your site is going to be, either because you already have a pre-existing business or have already come up with a terrific idea around which you want to construct your site.

In this case, you are going to skip a lot of the niche finding that we did earlier on and dive straight into putting together the keyword list that is going to drive targeted visitors to your website.

We have already looked at a handful of the best there is to offer in both paid and free keyword research tools, and the keyword research methods that I have worked through in this book will apply just as much to your situation as they do to any other.

However, before using these tools, I would recommend that you start from a slightly different perspective. Begin by using a vastly underutilized method of discovering keywords or phrases that you can use to bring people to your sales enabled website.

If you have a website selling a product or service, then it is a reasonable assumption that you know a significant amount about the product or service that you are promoting.

The first thing you should do to start generating a keyword list is, therefore, simply to brainstorm and use your own knowledge to start building your list.

If, for example, you are selling diamante dog collars, then it is a fair assumption that you will know considerably more about them than 99% of the population.

Who could be better positioned to come up with some basic keyword phrases than you?

The temptation is to simply let computer technology do all the work for you, but I would suggest that if you do, then you are shortchanging both yourself and your business. No matter how smart or intuitive it may be, no computer program could ever know your business as well as you do.

At this point in your keyword research, you should not try to second-guess internet searchers by trying to come up with phrases that you think people might use to search for your product or service. Instead, what you should do is try to come up with key words and phrases that you yourself would use if you were a reasonably knowledgeable potential customer for your product.

Building A Business Network Through Myspace MRR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

MySpace is a powerful online community which can take members virtually anywhere they want to go. MySpace was designed to allow members the opportunity to meet friends, reconnect with old friends, network and even meet potential romantic partners. MySpace may have started as a small project but has ballooned into a huge community with members from around the world. These members represent a variety of different races, regions, sexual orientations and occupations and can lead to all of the members learning so much more about the world around them.

Friends from Around the World on MySpace

MySpace is an expansive community and there are members from all over the world. This gives members the ability to meet and connect with members from different countries. Although these friendships may remain online and never turn into face to face meetings they can give an individual a greater understanding of the world around them. Through MySpace friendships with members from other countries, individuals can learn about the struggles experienced in other countries as well as the benefits of living in other countries.

Learn about Different Cultures on MySpace

Many people were raised with limited knowledge of other cultures. They may have had parents who were different races or another relative who was a different race or religion but for the most part they might have only learned in depth about a handful of other religions and cultures while they were growing up. This does not necessarily foster hate but it can lead to problems which relate to ignorance. Members of MySpace come in contact with those of other races, religions and cultures all the time. In fact MySpace members may spend a great deal of time getting to know another member before they even know the race, religion or ethnicity of the other individual. This ability to get to know each other first and then learn more about cultural backgrounds can lead to more tolerance of others.

Making Connections Offline

We have already discussed how MySpace can help members to make friends around the world and learn more about different cultures but MySpace doesn’t have to take you miles and miles away. The fact that there are MySpace members around the world may give you the opportunity to make friends in other countries but it also means you have the opportunity to make new friends in your geographic area. Even those people who live in the smallest towns may find there are other MySpace members who live in their town. Getting to know these members creates the opportunity for MySpace members to take their online friendships offline and meet in person.

Meeting online friends in person can be a wonderful experience which can give the members the opportunity to really get to know each other better. Some members of MySpace may have joined the community just to speak to others online and may have no desire to meet others offline but for some, the opportunity to meet others offline after fostering an online relationship may be very appealing. However, those who plan to meet online friends in person should exercise a certain amount of caution. Initial meetings should take place in a busy, public location that is well lit as opposed to a secluded location. Additionally, those who are meeting an online friend for the first time might bring along another trusted friend for security.

How To Interpret Your Dreams MRR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

Children, especially, are prone to nightmares. Nightmares are common in children, typically beginning at around age 3 and occurring up to age 7-8. People with anxiety disorder might also experience what experts term "night terrors". These are actually panic attacks that occur in sleep. It is especially difficult to remember these types of dreams since they conjure up terrifying images that we would just as soon forget.

In poetic myth, the Nightmare is actually a "small nettlesome mare, not more than thirteen hands high, of the breed familiar with the Elgin marbles: cream-colored, clean-limbed, with a long head, bluish eye, flowing mane and tail."Her nests, called mares‘ nests, "when one comes across them in dreams, lodged in rock-clefs or the branches of enormous hollow yews, are built of carefully chosen twigs lined with white horse-hair and the plumage of prophetic birds and littered with the jaw-bones and entrails of poets."

Thus, in a pagan world of myth and blood sacrifice, the Nightmare was a cruel, fearful creature. Our modern word nightmare derives from the Middle English nihtmare (from niht, night, and mare, demon), an evil spirit believed to haunt and suffocate sleeping people. And so, in today‘s world, when we speak of a nightmare we mean a frightening dream accompanied by a sensation of oppression and helplessness.

The blood-thirsty aspect of the mythic Nightmare, however, can give a good clue about nightmares in general, for in psychodynamic terms nightmares are graphic depictions of raw, primitive emotions such as aggression and rage that have not been incorporated into the conscious psyche. Thus we tend to encounter these "ugly" aspects of our unconscious lives as terrifying dream images in whose presence we feel completely helpless.

Nightmares are quite common in childhood because this is a time of our emotional development when we all have to come to terms with, well, raw, primitive emotions such as aggression and rage.

Traumatic nightmares can also occur as one of the many symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Repetitive, intrusive nightmares following a trauma often contain symbolic themes that mirror the original trauma and relate to threat to life, threat of abandonment or death, or loss of identity.

Therefore, traumatic nightmares need to be treated differently than other dreams. It‘s not enough just to "know" intellectually the psychological reasons why you have these nightmares. An event is traumatic because it disrupts your previously secure—and illusory—sense of "self." And so, to heal from a trauma, you must take the initiative to make conscious changes in your life to accommodate the traumatic shattering of your illusions about life and identity.

Q8 - What has been your most successful traffic generation strategy?

I think that in the short term the best way to get a big surge of traffic to your sales page is through joint ventures, however I think you need to remember that these are short term solutions for generating traffic.

You will have one or two days when the sales flood in from JV partners but the the traffic dies back down to a trickle again.

I think it's important to have long term traffic generation plans in place, a lot of

people tend to shy away from it but I do love it when my sites generate traffic from the search engines.

If you can get on the first page of Google for a decent keyword then you will be able to see a steady flow of traffic to your site each and every day. My most profitable website isn't related to internet marketing and all of the traffic comes through organic (non PPC) traffic from Google and Yahoo!

People also recommend having your own affiliate program to drive traffic to your sites, this can work but in reality very few, if any of your affiliates will turn out to be "Super affiliates”. The majority will sign up for your program, place a banner on their website and forget about it.

I'm not saying that driving traffic to your sites purely through affiliates isn't possible but it certainly takes a lot of work to attract good affiliates that are going to do more than just place a banner on their website.

Q9 - Do you attend any internet marketing seminars or groups? Have they been a big factor in your success?

I'm going to come clean....I have never been to any seminars or meetings.

I have nothing against seminars or group meetings, but it's just finding the time to attend that is the problem!

Q10 - Tell us why you started your web hosting company D9, and what you did to stand out and prosper in such a competitive market as web hosting?

D9 Hosting is run by me, and my business partner Paula Brett. We were both fed up of bad web hosts, it seemed impossible to find a host that provided reliable servers with good uptime alongside fast, friendly and knowledgeable support staff.

We found that it wasn't only us that had this problem, we both provided website/script install services and the amount of time that web hosts were unable to help customers with basic information and requests was unbelievable, on some occasions you would have to wait 3 - 4 days for a reply, and even then the reply had nothing to do with the original question!

At the start of 2007 I jokingly said to Paula one day "You know what, we should start our own hosting company”. She asked me if I was serious, initially I wasn't but when we put our heads together and thought it through, there was nothing stopping us from doing this, I had the computing background and she is a real "people person” that enjoys helping others so she would be great for the support side of things.

So after a lot of planning we launched D9 Hosting at the end of May 2007. To start with we had no idea what to expect, our main goal was to cover the costs of the server each month. We started off with a reseller account, initially we expected this to last us for at least 8 - 12 months as we only expected a handful of clients each month.

After a couple of months we had customers moving over to us from their old host left right and centre, we very quickly out-grew our reseller account and in September 2007 we upgraded to a brand new dedicated server.

Our main aim is to provide the things that we both felt were missing from the hosts we have been with in the past - good uptime and good, fast support.

So far we have been able to meet both of these goals. Our uptime since we upgraded all of our clients to our new dedicated server has been 100%:

We also aim to answer all support tickets within hours, rather than days! When we do reply we make sure that we explain everything in a way that the customer can understand. I think that a lot of hosts forget that the customers they are speaking too may not be PC experts and the computer jargon replies don't mean a thing to them!

So to answer the original question, we look to provide great uptime with fast and friendly support.

Q11 - How did you go about getting JV partners when you launched your first product?

I was lucky because I had known John Thornhill since I first started marketing and he helped me a lot, not just in promoting the product but he also advised me on how I could make the product better in the long run.

When John promoted the product for me, I also got enquires from people that had seen his email that wished to promote to their list, so it all snowballed from Johns email really.

Q12 - What are your business goals for 2008 and beyond?

My goals for 2008 involve firstly launching the Boomerang List Builder upgrade. I then plan to create and release a new product showing exactly how I make the websites that I mentioned at the end of Question 8.

Finally I plan to work as hard as I possibly can to not only keep my existing projects at their current level, but to take them to the next level.

By the end of 2008 I hope to see a continued growth in D9 Hosting subscribers, an increase of readers of my blog and I hope to work with and meet interesting new people, who knows, I may even take in a seminar or two.
