It can be about the money. People are looking for alternative energy sources or alternative fuel for their cars nowadays. A few months ago, increasing prices of petroleum products were experienced almost throughout the world. With the increasing money spent on the pump, we are trying to look for alternative fuels for vehicles that can eventually lead us to bigger savings.

Cars or vehicles running on alternative fuel are generally running on fuel other than gasoline or diesel. Over the years, we have become witnesses on car running on electricity, a hybrid of gasoline and electric car, or even solar powered. There are several factors contributing to the rise and initiative of governments and manufacturers to produce alternative fuel vehicles. There are cars that are capable in running on LPG, solar power, ethanol, fuel cells, hydrogen, and compressed cars. There are also what we call hybrid cars. Cars running on liquefied petroleum gas or LPG runs on a mix of propane and butane. Its hydrocarbon gases turn to liquid when compressed. Cars running on LPG can cut the fuel expense into half compared to petrol and diesel. It is also said to reduce the carbon monoxide emission.

Cars using solar power convert sunlight into electricity. It can be used to power electric motors or produce fuels such as hydrogen. Solar panels are put on the surface, more often on the roof, of the vehicle. These solar panels then convert the suns energy into electrical energy.

I have been using different subscriber systems to both build a list and make affiliate sales for some time now and have released two reports on very similar ideas, one called The Profit Funnel Secret and the other is The Subscriber Simple Secret.

With the Profit Funnel Secret, you use a squeeze page to capture subscribers. All you need with your squeeze page to make this work is about a 40% conversion, meaning for every 100 people that go to your site, 40 will subscribe to your list.

Although the more the merrier, 40% will work fine. I have had some Profit Funnels generating 60% conversions, but 40% is all you really need.

When somebody subscribes, they are taken to either a product of yours (best option) or if you do not have one, you will be an affiliate for somebody else’s product and promote that. All your product or affiliate product needs to do is convert at about 1% (1-2% is the industry average and easily obtained) to make this strategy work.

The herd mind places high value on things that are limited or scarce.

For the most part, you should try and make something limited no matter what you are promoting.

If it is your own product, you can limit the price for a certain amount of days... "Price will increase in 3 days, etc.." Or if you are promoting somebody else’s product or opportunity, then give away a bonus package for whoever joins under you, and limit that.

It really doesn't matter what you limit, just as long as part of the offer that you are promoting is limited. This creates an urgency and a need to not be left out.

Nobody wants to be left out. That is one of the main driving forces of the herd.

We join the herd mentality to not be left out. Like I said earlier, it’s the whole “if everybody else is doing it, it must be okay” idea that keeps the herd going strong.

And those things almost always translate into more sales. Find a way to limit your offers, either with time, price, bonuses or whatever.

Joint ventures are the main way to promote your speed sale.

If you are going to do a firesale then you would usually give your joint venture partners 50-60% of the sale.

If you are doing a dime/nickel sale then I suggest giving them 100% of the first product and you take 100% of the upsell and backend sales.

As for a special customer/subscriber only sale, you would need to work out what percentage each JV partner will earn on a specific basis as this type of sale is set up specifically for each partner.

I've been explaining the benefits of joint ventures for years now. They have always been one of my top ways to generate traffic.

But, it is getting harder and harder to land good joint ventures these days. The reason? It's getting too crowded.

See, it used to be where people were looking for products to promote because there weren't many. So when you had a good product, you could ask people to JV with you and they would be happy to have something new to promote.

There are a few ways to do this. One of them is free ebooks. Even though free ebooks seem to have taken a back seat to other techniques these days, they are still very powerful if they are done right, especially in markets outside of Internet marketing.

Create a free ebook with your subscriber form on each page and valuable content. Encourage people to pass it on to their friends. Nothing new with that..

But, to make this more powerful, here is another idea. Create a product or short report and sell it for cheap. Then find other businesses in your niche and sell them the resell rights for cheap.

When people open your ebook, they will have to register it first by filling in their name and email. You kindly explain to them that this way, they will get free updates and other special news from you- Customers only of course.

This way, whoever bought the rights to your book will sell it, and all of those customers will have to register before accessing the product, which means opt-in paying customers to add to your list.

Another viral idea is contests or giveaways. This can work in any market as well (although I am sure you have seen these in action in the Internet marketing market).

Create a free giveaway where you give away things (reports, ebooks, etc..) of value to your niche market. Bring in other businesses like yours (your competitors) to also give away things for free.

Then everybody involved promotes it to their list and on their site. The people go to the giveaway site and have to register before they download any of the freebies.

A good thing about PLR ebooks is that most come with sales letters.

Now, these aren't the best sales letters on the planet- Although, they aren't the worst either. They are usually written by a professional copywriter, but usually a cheap copywriter- But they are certainly useable. Heck, sometimes I put these sales letters up unedited and they convert at 4-5%, so you may be surprised.

All you really need to make money online is an average sales ratio, which is 1-2%. Which means 1 to 2 people will buy out of every 100 visitors who see the sales page.

To put it one way, marketing is a numbers game, and these numbers are the most important...How much traffic you are getting, and how much of that traffic is buying. All of the other crap you read is just another way to make making money online more complicated than it has to be.

So just focus on these two things- getting traffic, and converting it into sales.

So what do you do with the sales letter that came with your PLR ebook? Make it unique of course..

If you only edited one ebook into a “best of” report, then you just need to edit the one sales letter that came with it. But if you used multiple sources to come up with your report, then making a “best of” sales letter will work.

Certain career fields are very alluring because of the salary and other benefits they offer, but be very careful of switching careers because of all the dollar signs.
